With outstretched arms, Rido stands in top of the roof and faces Juri who is holding a scythe. He calls out, “My Juri, that expression of you looking at the world’s most repulsive thing is really beautiful that it makes me unable to endure it.. I like more that kind of expression which you gave me after I swallowed up our parents..” Juri mutters, “Really disgusting. I won’t give you anything. *points her scythe at Rido* I’m going to stuff you in a very deep hole in the ground. One drop of blood, one expression, or even Haruka’s life, I won’t give you any of it.” Rido smiles with twisted glee. He suddenly appears behind Juri. About to touch her face, Rido says, “You’ve become someone who’ll thought of such an amazing punishment for me, cute Juri..” Juri swings her scythe and shouts for him not to touch her. Rido holds her outstretched hand holding the scythe and says, “You obviously knew that you cannot win against me.. *chuckles* Juri..I will gain a lot more strength.. in order to clear out the everything between you and me, I’ll bet my life’s everything.” And, Rido disappears. Narration: “A twisted love’s bottomless desire. ..mother∙Juri’s previous memories are slightly marked on top of my heart.”

Free Talk: Vampire Knight [Final Chapter]

[To those who have tagged earlier but I’ve missed it because of the 200 line limit of the tagboard that it got erased, sorry if I wasn’t able to answer. If it's okay with you, just tag again.]

It is a nice 3P cover spread. ^^ First off, Kaname throws his heart into the furnace. From that first drawing, I burst into laughter. At first glance, looking at the shape from the leftmost side, my first thought is didn’t it look like a toilet bowl. I thought, oh no, he just flushed his heart into the toilet with that sound effect. ^^;  So, as usual, Yuuki goes to Kaname and Zero follows Yuuki. ^^;; The story of their life since the start of the series. It does seem awkward to see Zero acting like he didn’t want that to happen after everything but I guess it is a continuation of the last chapter that he wanted Yuuki to be Kaname = don’t sacrifice yourself, to make her happy. Zero seems to have the fate of not being able to extract revenge on the persons who caused him misery with his own hands. ^^; But since the weapons won’t last long, Kaname just has to do what he has to do aside from treating this as ‘a way of paying for my crimes’, ‘contribute in the fight’ and ‘want you two to be together’. I cannot relate though over how dazzling light-presence Yuuki is. In terms of being a lover, she is a failure in my opinion. In terms of fulfilling his ‘research’ and fighting bad vampires, she most probably did it during his hibernation. Maybe Kaname is fixated on thinking of Yuuki as this ‘baby girl whom he has to protect at all cost’, and he did ‘baby-ed’ her over how overprotective he was..dressing her up, painting her nails..^^; What Zero said here about the reason why he cannot forgive Kaname reinforces my thoughts that for Zero, the pain Kaname gave Yuuki is more unforgiveable than the pain and hardship Kaname caused on him and his family. The three had become self-less in the end. And until the last chapter, Artemis didn’t get to be used in a useful way, maybe aside from the Rido arc. So, after the battle, Kaname becomes frozen delight courtesy of Hanabusa. That had prevented him from suffering the same fate as the hooded woman since he is ‘preserved’. The way Zero asked Yuuki to be with him seems more like pleading..something like one sided. Even if it is understood, it would be nice if Yuuki at least say, yes or something, rather than just cry because of being moved[?] that he still wants her and say nothing. About giving her time, that is a bit strange because she didn’t have problems quickly switching back and forth before.

So, Zero recalls that Yuuki took his precious memories. With that, we get another bite scene. Fanservice for Zero x Yuuki fans? Well, it is a fact that while biting vampires can see ‘memories/visions’ of the one being bitten so that is a way for Zero to get his memories back. Ah, because of what the person, who posted the Chinese scans spoiler, mentioned, I’m starting to interpret Zero’s true feelings for something BL-ish with Kaname. ^^;; Wow, what a sudden turn of Zero’s perspective that he actually wants to team up with Kaname. Actually, that seems to mean that not making Yuuki cry + true feelings is greater than family. Can we call that as Zero moving on from the past/revenge and thinking of the future of humans? Once again, Hanabusa is the one interrupting/accidentally seeing the lovey-dovey of Zero and Yuuki. As expected from the teaser pics, it is Kaname, Zero, Kaname’s friends + some hunters vs PBs. Hm..they were all against Kaname before when he goes assassinating PBs, presumably the bad ones, but I guess being ‘good guys’, the bad PBs has to attack first to warrant an attack back. It does seem like a question of do you wait for the bad guys to attack first or do you get them first before they possibly cause mayhem? Now that they are in this pinch, wouldn’t it be better to deal with those PBs before this happened? For example, that chibi PB, if he was gotten rid of earlier by Kaname and wasn’t sheltered by Kaien, he won’t be causing trouble now, right? Wouldn’t it had been better if Kaname lessen their numbers first so that they won’t be so overwhelmed now especially since their metal thing self-destruct? I guess it is a case of ‘presumed innocent until one does the bad deed’. But of course, what’s done is done..hope they revise some things later on so that this won’t happen again. Hehe, if there will be any PBs left.

Vampire Knight [Chapter 91]

[Free Talk: This is a speedy summary but I think I got the main idea ^^]

Before Yuuki can turn Kaname to human, he stops her and tells her something about this [becoming metal] is a kinder way of continue on killing purebloods so she ought to approve of him becoming the metal. He asks if it is really a good idea to turn him into human when he is the only way/weapon to oppose vampires. Kaname goes to face the invaders and tells Yuuki to stay there for let him protect her. Useless Yuuki agrees. So, Kaname goes out and want to fight. Zero argues a bit with him about this. and Zero recalling something about hating purebloods.. And, they quickly defeat the intruders. Maid apologizes to other purebloods of their failure. They plan to stop Kaname from becoming the metal thingie. Soon, everyone moves the school [I think or wherever the hunters are currently staying]. Zero is still thinking Yuuki is a weird pureblood for telling him not to say in that place anymore..and probably go with them. = her concern for him? Then, Yuuki is asking Kaien if the metal thingie is really needed. Scar guy tells her why it is needed to fight against pureblood and, if not, they would all be dead especially since most of the hunters lost their weapons and the purebloods are currently active. Yori arrives and is glad Yuuki is alright. She also mentions how humans will be affected by this. Zero still thinking that Yuuki isn’t like a pureblood. Zero visits Kaname in prison and tells him the preparation for the metal thingie is going smoothly. He asks if Kaname is serious about this. Amused Kaname comments that he never thought he would ask that.

Ruka falls down on Zero who asks, why. Cain goes to his beloved Ruka. Ruka mutters to Kaname that it is enough, don’t do this anymore. Towards Kaname, Yuuki repeats what Ruka said. ^^; Kain throws a fireball at Kaname’s shoulder and angrily says that if Ruka won’t be angry at him being like this, well, he isn’t the same. Just when Kain is about to roast Kaname, Ruka stops him by saying that it is her fault for she did it on her own initiative. Cain forgets about Kaname and goes to assist his beloved Ruka again. Kaname tells Ruka that she had betrayed him by protecting Zero so things[/relationship] with her will also be only up to this point. Ruka accepts Kaname’s decision. Kaname tells Yuuki to go and look over Ruka but Yuuki is more interested in attempting to chop Kaname up. Posing Artemis at Kaname, she asks up to what degree does Kaname want to realize ‘her [his beloved =P] will’ and whatever it is, he shouldn’t be doing this kind of thing. Kaname asks her what she plans to do with him after capturing him like this. While Yuuki is thinking of her answer, the hunters attack with a chain net with hopes of capturing Kaname. Kaname pushes Yuuki to safety and she just watch as the net fell on Kaname. She holds his severed skeleton hand and wonders why he protected her. The hand vanish for Kaname has turned his body into bats, it seems. While the hunters are running after Kaname, Yuuki snaps out of it after hearing Kain calling for his beloved. Yuuki runs to them and asks Ruka if she is alright. Kain tells her that Ruka won’t stop bleeding because of the weapon so Yuuki offers her blood which Ruka accepts. [To make Ruka realize his feelings for her], Kain sucks Yuuki’s blood and use his mouth in giving the blood to Ruka. =P

Title: “Invading the Association” From a balcony, some hunters are saying that Kaname has arrived. A hunter wanted to attack but another hunter protested that the ‘higher-ups’ told them that they should let those purebloods kill each other. Someone asks if it is Yagari. Another one protests that it is their job to deter an invasion. To their shock, Kaname suddenly goes up to where they are. The hunters shout not to hesitate for it is their job and it has been decided that the head of Kuran is their enemy. They attack and Kaname just pass through them and glared at them which made them fall unconscious. [It is like One Piece’s Haki. Since Kaname pities them for not being that useful], he picks up one of the hunters and uses his head to smash open the door. Then, he apologizes to them for using them to get in. ^^; Inside, Kaname can felt the presence of his ex-beloved where they’ve hidden her heart. He notices his sword is reacting. Then, Zero thrashed the floor [above Zero] to get to Kaname. He orders his Bloody Rose to get Kaname. Somehow, Kaname manages to block the vines. Zero says that Kaname and Bloody Rose seem to know each other. Kaname touches a bit of the cutey vine and says that it is the first thing he made, using the ‘deposit’[/beloved’s heart]. Thinking that whatever past they have no longer matters, Zero tells Kaname that right now, he is its master and ‘I’m’ the master of myself. Bloody Rose’s vine starts to intertwine around Kaname. Zero tells Bloody Rose to drink Kaname’s blood. Preparing to fight back, Kaname says that if Zero can’t become his weapon, well, he won’t let Zero get rid of him there, either. At the Association’s building door, Ruka and Kain are standing guard. Hunters are commenting on their disbelief that a pureblood is suddenly starting a fight in the Association. Ruka tells them that Kaname doesn’t plan on making the Association as the enemy but they can’t let them go through. A hunter says that won’t convince them since this is hunter’s district and they are from a reputable hunter clan. Then, Yuuki has arrived.

Zero is thinking that Ichiou and that Yuuki girl perished on the same day, and the one he kissed is just the remains of that girl. And even if he believes that she will go with Kaname, how come he has hope, and how come the remains of that girl would look at him with the same eyes before. And yet, gradually becoming cold Ichiru, didn’t. Why is it them, [whom Kaname decided to mess up with.] So, Zero agrees to hide Sara in the Association, and Sara will assist him in fulfilling his wish. Sara asks Takuma if he is coming. Takuma says that he is. Senri tries to stop him by saying that isn’t something he’ll do. Takuma smiles and says that this is something he’ll do. Just when Senri is going to emote about the Takuma he knows, Rima arrives and asks Senri what he is doing. When she is reprimanding Takuma to stop while he’s ahead..Sara and others are already gone. Senri runs to chase after his beloved Takuma. While Hanabusa and Maria look on, Hanadagi’s servant is suppressed by Kaito. Kaito tells her that even if he knows that she wants revenge but she can’t cause a ruckus there. He says that the opponent is a pureblood and she’ll just die. Hanadagi’s servant tries to kick him and say that it doesn’t matter. Hanadagi’s servant exclaims what the hunters are doing, and could it be that they were assigned weapons[?] to kill purebloods but let Sara do as she pleases. [<- not sure on this part] Kaito didn’t refute it. Hanabusa says that even so, she cannot cause a ruckus in their dorm or else, he’ll restrain her using ice.

Title: Love’s Confession Flashback to the time when Kaname revealed his past through a dream to Yuuki..Ruka was there. She had CARELESSLY heard it clearly, this thing about ‘not leaving a single trace of Pureblood’. It is a reason that until the end, she couldn’t accept. Surprised Ruka asked him what about the one who is in his embrace. Wiping the blood from Yuuki’s face, Kaname said that ‘will become..a hindrance’. Ruka asked if that is okay to say those things to his partner when he obviously cherished her. If that is so, then won’t it be okay if he just straightforwardly let her go without a care while they were in school, and this is quite pitiful [for Yuuki?]. Ruka thought that he, too, has a distinct importance [to her?]. She told him that he is quite cruel for she thought that she can finally be at ease. Looking serious, Ruka proposed that he make her into his accomplice so-- End flashback. While Kain is taking Ruka away, Ruka tells him to wait, there is no need to run away and Hanabusa will understand if they talked with him. Kain says that he doesn’t think so, and now, he doesn’t want her to be sad again. Ruka pushes him away and tells him not to treat her like some weak girl. She says that she knows that perhaps she might be of ‘some’ help, and she knows that repeatedly shouldering this serious thing is tiring but she doesn’t want that because of this thing, he’ll worry about her. Kain frowns while Ruka looks at the dorm and feels nostalgic over the Sun Dorm. Kain apologizes over taking [their] time too much. Ruka says that it is alright, it will start soon – making the humans sleep in deep slumber and absolutely not let them go out of the Sun Dorm. She says that at the other side, Kaname-sama will suppress Sara so she can’t allow any slip-ups. While Ruka starts to use her powers, Kain notices that there are people at the side of the building. It is Yori and the others. After trying to recall Ruka, Kageyama points to Ruka and exclaims that he remembers her, Miss Ruka. To his shock, Ruka and Kain don’t remember him. =P While Kageyama weeps, Ruka tells them to go back in the dorm if they won’t want to get involved into some scary stuff. Then, slightly blushing Ruka tells Kageyama that she is happy that he likes her to the point of remembering her again. As Ruka looks away, Kageyama and Yori blush. Ruka tells them to quickly go for the scary vampire might attack people who are awake.

Title: Crack/Crevice. Yuuki’s eyes met with Kaname and she thinks, “Kaname.., my Kaname is there-- *starts walking towards him* If I didn’t quickly go with him..” To her surprise, Zero grabs her arm to stop her. She looks back at Kaname and realizes that it is just Kaname’s double with the use of bats. While Zero tightly grabs her arm, Yuuki says that it isn’t like before when he takes her away with him. She asks him what’s up this time. Kaname then says, “..My pitiful and cute Yuuki..you have become my hindrance.” This surprises Yuuki. Kaname says that he already did things up to this point and she is still unaware that his way of thinking has already changed. He tells her that it doesn’t matter if Zero tells her, for he [Zero] is the one who understands his existence the most. Zero says that somewhere in his heart, he always believed that he [Kaname] will go away together with Yuuki. Yuuki thinks that Zero had prayed for her happiness because unlike Kaname, she knows/understands Zero. Yuuki asks Zero to tell her. Then, she shouts for him to tell her, before, backtracking to say that if he doesn’t want to tell her it is okay. Zero asks Kaname why he let Shizuka out of prison to wreck havoc on the couple vampire hunter. To Yuuki’s surprise, Kaname says that in order for the twins of the family to have a grudge towards purebloods that they can’t break free from. Zero asks why. Kaname says it is to make the twins into living weapons who cannot rest until they thoroughly kill the purebloods. Pointing his gun at Kaname, Zero exclaims why is it them or at least, do not involve Ichijou in it. Just when Bloody Rose seems to get out of control, Yuuki touches Zero’s head to calm him. Kaname’s double already left. Seeing Yuuki teary-eyed, Zero hugs her tight.

Title - Pollution. Yuuki and Hanabusa has been returning the students who were drugged by using Yuuki’s blood. Then, Zero goes to the association. Touga mentions about not hindering Kaname which made Zero scowl. He talks with Kaien about Yuuki stopping some students from causing some problems. Zero senses Toma within the association whom Kaien mentions, almost got killed by Kaname. Kaien also mentions that he doesn’t want to kill humans or vampires. When Kaien mentions if he knows who created the new blood tablets, if it is someone within Night Class. Zero thinks of Sara but he says that there is none [from Night Class]. Then, he asks Kaien about knowing of Kaname’s ‘sin’. Kaien mentions to Zero about what he thought Kaname has been doing before but this time around, he doesn’t understand it. Then, Yuuki and Maria are talking about Zero’s thirst and getting Takuma away from Sara, when Hanadagi’s servant crashes out the window. She tells Yuuki that it was Sara who chained her like a dog and it was Sara who attacked Hanadagi by taking his heart. When Yuuki realizes that Kaname wasn’t the one who attacked Hanadagi’s coffin, Zero appears. Zero tells Yuuki if she plans on killing Sara. After the servant said that he was the one who came to Sara yesterday, Zero says, “..Yuuki, I won’t let you lay a hand on that woman.” Yuuki is surprised for he called her name but.. In some other room, Sara comments to Takuma that everything is moving according to plan. Even if Yuuki got the Night Class people back, she is already trapped in the confusion. Sara comments that it is enough for her to go to the academy and obtain the ‘weapon’. And, that ‘child’ will definitely fall [into the hands of the enemy/occupied] just like Takuma.

Title: Yuuki and Sara. In the past, young Kaname, together with Takuma, were tricked again about Yuuki being injured by Kaien into going to some winter snow resort. Just when Takuma is saying if it is some sort of test, he mentions about the twins outside the window. Kaname saw the Kiriyuu twins with Kaien. Kaname looked surprised that there were twins born from the vampire hunter’s descendants. And in that instant, all of Kaname’s plan started from there. End flashback. Sara asks Yuuki if she will be her comrade if she tells him what bad thing that Kaname is covering up. Takuma has managed to snap out of it and tells Yuuki to leave first for it is scary if blood flows in this place. Sara calls his name that Takuma quickly apologizes. Yuuki assures him that a fight won’t happen but then, she won’t ignore this. Yuuki tells Sara that right now, Kaname is actually doing an unforgivable thing and even if it is making things hard for her [Yuuki], but it seems that Sara is afraid and she is the next target, according to Kaname. Clencing her first, she says that she won’t let Kaname do what he pleases no matter what Kaname’s secret is. Sara asks if she will protect her. Yuuki says, yes, she will, as dorm head, as long as Sara stays put within the room. After going out, Hanabusa is relieved that Yuuki came out in one piece and did the conversation went well. Yuuki admits to him that from the start, she totally does not trust Sara. Hanabasua tells her that the ones inside might overhear her. Yuuki says that is okay, for the first time she saw Sara [in that party before], she already do not quite like her. She wonders what Kaname’s secret is. Somewhere else, the class president [glasses guy] wants to go to the night dorm and Yori accompanies him. She thinks that his memory about the Night class should also have been erased. He asks her why she is coming with him. Yori says that she is also going to see her friend. She tells him that Zero is also quite well known there and the information about it isn’t leaked out. Class president says that speaking of Zero, he saw him early in the morning with a long haired girl in a white uniform by the forest. His heart hurt as if it is his first love. Yori realizes that he remembered Ruka.

Senri asks smiling Takuma if he is going to give that blister pack of pills to him. Takuma says yes, and he also drank it already. He comments that the taste is quite good and didn’t Senri complain before that the pills didn’t taste good. Senri says ya, and if Takuma is going to give it to him. Just when he is about to get it, Takuma holds up the blister pack. Senri angrily asks what’s up with him. He notices that Takuma is trembling. Takuma tells Senri that it is dangerous. While stopping himself from giving it to Senri, Takuma leaves and says that it is dangerous so don’t get close to him. Senri laments that Takuma is acting weird since yesterday since Takuma would want to give him the pills then later on, he would say no. Senri mentions this to Rima and he thinks that Sara is controlling half of Takuma’s consciousness. Rima asks if Takuma didn’t tell him about wanting to help someone in spying, that is why he is staying with Sara. Senri says, ah [/ya]. Rima takes out a blister pack and asks Senri if that is the pills he is talking about. She tells him that she got it from her roommate. Senri says that it is the same one. To her surprise, Senri pops the pills into his mouth. He comments that the taste is indeed good but what is that taste. Rima laments over how Senri tends to be negligent over himself just because he is a vampire. He thanks her for the concern. Kaito returns to the association. Yagari asks him about those two [Y&Z] Kaito says, who knows, what now but it’s really fickle, if those two’s relationship is good, then their feelings can be taken advantage of. Yagari says that this is in case, something happens, and Yuuki can become an insurance since she listens [to them]. Scarred hunter says that it will be good if Yuuki can pull into their side since she is a pureblood who can use a hunter weapon without hindrance..though they don’t know why. Their conversation is interrupted when the door opens. It is Kaien carrying unconscious Toma on his shoulder. While everyone is looking at him, Kaien sheepishly says that he is back though he brought back a pureblood souvenir. Yagari just looks serious at him. In the school, Yuuki is thinking of Zero who told her that she is called by the association head. Maria passes by to Yuuki to comment that Zero’s complexion doesn’t look good from before, and even more, now. She says that it will be nice if she can help [Zero]. Yuuki just looks at Maria. Then, Sara comes in the classroom. Yuuki notices that most of the other vampires are bowing to her and calling her ‘Sara-sama’. Sara asks her what’s with Yuuki’s expression of ‘something strange is going on’. Rima worriedly looks at Senri.

Title: Puppet. The scene with Zero just says about his belief of not hindering Kaname if he wants to kill purebloods. In class, Yuuki notices that Hanabusa is gone. Rima tells her that instead of her, he went out to act. Yuuki just says ya, for she cannot freely go out. She is worried about things he would do that would make the association misunderstand. Rima tells Sara that Hanabusa will be absent. By the forest, Yuuki tells Kaito about Hanabusa. Kaito says that he generally know where he went. Then, Toga, together with other hunters, arrives. Zero asks what the matter is, that they are called to this place. Toga says that there is something that cannot be talked about within the association. Yuuki quickly goes in front of Zero with arms spread sideways. She asks them of what they are planning to do with Zero. Zero puts his hand on her head and says that she isn’t called, so leave, and don’t act like his pet owner. This made Yuuki blush a bit for she thinks that the way he say it, is like before. Toga tells Zero that it is okay for Yuuki to hear this for they only do not want the president [Kaien] to hear this. Toga and others do not agree with the president about Kaname continuing what he is doing so they felt that this time around, Kaien’s solo action is a hindrance. The scene changes to Kaien whose sword is being held by Kaname. Kaien says the he hopes he is wrong but why is Kaname annihilating the pure blood. Kaname says that his question is strange for he ought to know because he had dealt with vampires for a long time. After finally pulling his sword back away from Kaname, Kaien says that he thought Kaname chose the path of being together with Yuuki. That day [when the Kurans were young] Kaname said that he will carry his own responsibility that when Yuuki grows up, they can no longer keep this ‘human’ identity/status so Kaname thought that it will be his turn to make Yuuki into a human. Kaien admits that he is relieved that Kaname didn’t make that into a reality for Juri wouldn’t have wanted that kind of ending but Kaname changed the plan, and is this, the path he chose. He tells Kaname that somewhere in Yuuki’s heart, she still trusts him. After a pause, Kaname says that is so Yuuki’s style. He tells Kaien to tell Yuuki that if she says that, even if it is her, she would ‘awaken’ by telling her ‘Speaking of that, I also killed Ouri-sama and the next one is Shirobuki Sara.’ This made Kaien angrily shout his name. Ruka just watches them then she notices that inside the mansion, Isaya is also watching from the window. Walking around, Hanabusa is frustrated that he lost track of Kaien. He had decided to follow Kaien who went out, looking serious, but of course, he cannot chase after a running car. He is sure that Kaien has gotten hold of information regarding Kaname’s whereabouts. He tries to use his some mental telepathy to feel where Kaname-sama is, because he thinks Kaname is nearby. =P Then, he notices a lot of people that he wonders if there is some sort of night meeting.

Thanks to ano, I learned that Vampire Knight 74 : Pure Blood’s Motive is out in baidu. Wow, so fast..actually, I shouldn’t be surprise for this scanlation group loves Kaname...if not, because they are not busy =P I just browse it so just wait for the English scanlation for the details and stuff which I’ll also read later on. And so, Yuuki and Zero talk a bit. Yuuki wants to look at his face a bit before sucking the blood and please help her since right now, she wants his blood. Then, it seems that Hanabusa wants to investigate something, which he informs Senri and Rima. It seems that he won’t be watching over Yuuki anymore because a certain hunter is around. Soon, Yuuki and Zero pass by each other at the hallway. She tells him to deal with the day students outside. Zero says he’ll go. Then, she pats his back and says, “I’ll leave it to you.” Hehe..getting friendly after the bite, huh? =P Zero shoos the girls away and meets with Kaien and Kaito. Kaien says that it is worrisome that Zero becomes ‘obedient’ when at first, he wants to kill Kaname. Looking dark, Zero says that there is no reason for him to stop Kaname if he plans on killing purebloods. Kaien tells him that he pretends that he didn’t hear that and as a pacifist, Kaname’s actions are not allowed even if it is probably for Yuuki’s sake. In the room, it seems that Sara wins a lot of votes against Yuuki, and they think it is because of Sara’s charm. It seems that Takuma is giving up his authority as class head and it will be passed on to Sara who won. Yuuki has only one vote. ^^;
