Cover page: “If I were to disappear.. will that do? Yuuya..”
Sou tells Shiki to go die. He urges Eiji to quickly do it and this is an order,
the brother or Saki, one of them must die. Eiji mutters how can that be.. Shiki
says that it doesn’t matter to him if he is dies but he cannot die until it is
certain that Saki is safe and sound. “If Yuki is killed, then you guys would also
lose your one and only insurance.” After
a pause, Sou says that it is impossible for Shiki to just do nothing and let
Saki..no, Yuki die. At the hotel[?], Yuuya looks at sleeping Yuki on the bed.
With some eaten breakfast on the table, Yuuya says that he always thought that
it is quite baffling that during high school, Eiji would go steady with this
ugly girl. He recalls how Yuki jumped into the train tracks for him which might
had cost her life. He slightly blushes. He kisses Yuki and says that right now,
he finally understands. Putting on his jacket, Yuuya says that for her to eat
that much medicine, she probably won’t wake up in a few hours. There are two
empty blister packs in the wastebasket. He hoped that the time when they meet
together, everything is over. Putting a note on her hands that are on her
chest, he tells her that when she wakes up, go to this place. As he goes out of
the door, Yuuya says that her world will definitely change. After he left, Yuki
wakes up.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 12]
[Notice: This
chapter has some mature content that might not be appropriate for young

Cover page: “Why do such a thing. ...you think it’s very
strange, right?” Eiji hangs up the phone and curses. Shiki asks if Yuki was
kidnapped and made into a hostage. He tells Eiji that they shouldn’t do
anything to harm Yuki in the meantime for in the end, the one they are after is
him [Shiki]. Shaking while holding his cellphone tight, Eiji says that in these
three years, there are times when he lost hope and thought that she is dead.
“It is good that she is still alive--..” Meanwhile, Sou says that Eiji would
unexpectedly say that he didn’t see Shiki.. “..You cannot deceive me. *smiles*
We had been friends for such a long time, you still think that I don’t know
your thoughts?” The next morning, Yuuya yawns loudly and greets Sou. He asks
Sou if Eiji has called. Sou tells him that Eiji just called and it seems that
he couldn’t find Shiki. Yuuya says is that so. Yuuya seems lost in thought.
Preparing some coffee, Sou asks what it is. “Do you feel bored in having sex
with an unconscious girl?” Yuuya says that without her consent, he won’t do
that kind of thing. Sou just makes a serious side glance at Yuuya. Yuuya
happily smiles and says that he is serious about Yuki and wants to properly
cherish her. “She isn’t the same with other girls.” Sou says is that so, he
noticed it. Sou gives him the cup of coffee. Yuuya thanks him. Sou thinks that
Yuki..no..Saki is really a strange girl. “Obviously one cannot see anything
special about her but not only, Eiji is attracted to her, but also Yuuya..”

Cover page: “Always unable to FORGET, until now, still
THINKING of you” Still on top of the building with Yuuya, Sou calls Eiji on the
phone to meet up with him. At a certain restaurant, Eiji meets up with Sou who
is already sitting on a table. Eiji apologizes for the wait. While taking his
seat, Eiji asks if Yuuya had also told him about the progress of the search. Sou
says that it seems that they weren’t able to find Saki’s remains near the place
where Erika was buried. Eiji says that Yuuya had already informed him about
that and maybe, just like Erika, Saki’s remains had been moved by someone. Sou
says that he doesn’t think so. He pushes a file to Eiji. Picking it up, Eiji
asks if this is a written report. Sou says that it is about the siblings, Mizuhara
Yuki and Mizuhara Shiki. When they were young, their parents divorced. The
mother got Yuki while the father got Shiki. They were brought up separately.
When Yuki is 15 years old, their mother had died for some reason so she was
taken in by her father and all three started living together. Yuki’s
temperament is of an extrovert and she is very lively. She is very good in socializing.
Her modeling job is also going with the flow. Afterwards, their father had a
stroke and passed away. He left them a huge amount of inheritance. And, it
became the two siblings living together.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 10]
Cover page: “Everything started ON THAT DAY three years
ago.” On the news, the reporter is mentioning about recently finding of some
skeletal remains a few days ago. With some keep out area behind her, the
reporter says that there is a scene that could have been the original place
where Erika was buried. The police had already secured the corpse and a
detailed search is busily in progress. Watching the news from some onscreen
television on a building, Eiji on his bicycle looks tense by this news. At
Shiki’s place, he asks Yuki if she has also seen the news. He mentions to her
that the scene where the corpse was left, had already been exposed and the
culprit has definitely found out that Saki is still alive. He warns her that
most probably, the culprit will look for her and kill her. “Even if you already
had plastic surgery, but I’m still very worried. You shouldn’t go out as much
as possible..” Yuki looks at her brother and says, yes, thank you, brother.
Yuki couldn’t make herself to inform him about finding that bag strap at Eiji’s
place and she is still not sure whether or not Eiji is really the murderer but
if she tells Shiki, she will make him worry. At Yuuya’s place, he is making a
voice mail on his phone. He says that the police have already found the place
where the corpses were abandoned and even if it isn’t officially declared but at
that place, there is no trace of the other corpse buried there. “Saki is still
alive. Isn’t she having her revenge against us!? Hey, call me as soon a
possible. Without you.. I..” At the streets, Sou is on the phone while watching
the news on a screen on a building. The news are recapping about Erika went
missing when she was a second year student and her remains were found abandoned
at some national highway not from the forest area. They think that Saki who was
also missing might be buried by the murderer nearby and currently, the police
search will.. After listening to Yuuya’s message, Sou says that he unexpectedly
left a voice mail. “This young master[/rich kid] is really stupid.”

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 9]
Cover page: “That, is a Pandora box that shouldn’t be
opened..?” Yuki is surprised when Sou told her that Eiji’s attachment to Saki
is totally frightening. While Yuki nervously wonder if Saki turns out to be
very scared of Eiji, Sou looks at her. He quickly says that after Kousuke and
Yoshiharu’s death, he might be a bit nervous. He apologizes for saying strange
things. Yuki shakes her head for she understands that it is natural for him to
be like that since two of his good friends passed away as well as Erika. Sou
bids her goodbye since the train is coming. Yuki wonders if Sou is saying that
her and Erika’s disappearance has something to do with Eiji. She thinks that
Eiji isn’t that kind of person and she’s thinking too much. At the funeral,
Yuuya calls out to Sou and says that he got something to tell him. He asks if
he thinks that Kousuke and Yoshiharu committed suicide. Sou says that it isn’t
clear so they are doing an investigation for it. Yuuya says that he said that
he tripped down the railway platform and unfortunately, got injured but
actually, someone pushed him. “It just so happen that the surveillance camera
didn’t film that place so until now, the culprit wasn’t caught. *crosses arms*
Truly scary..” Sou touches Yuuya’s head injury and warns him to be careful for
there are some dangerous people everywhere. Keita calls out to Yuuya and asks
if he can talk to him. He tells Yuuya that the day after Yoshiharu died, he
told the police that he was together with Yuki that day. He asks if that is
true. Yuuya says it is true, he was the one who called out Yuki that day and
they are always together. Keita says that he obviously saw with his own eyes
that Yoshiharu and Yuki went in together in the data storage room. “Why did you
lie about that?” Yuuya mutters that Keita is an eye-witness. He says that Yuki
said that she was with Yoshiharu but she didn’t know what happened. He tells
Keita that he likes Yuki and he doesn’t want her to get involved in this kind
of thing so he lied. “I’m sorry for making you misunderstand.” After looking
surprised, Keita’s expression soften and he says, no..it wasn’t easy for them
to become friends yet Kousuke and Yoshiharu would suddenly..they are good guys.
Yuuya puts Keita’s head on his shoulder to comfort him. Sou looks at the side
and notices Eiji at the corner of the house. As Sou goes to Eiji, Eiji informs
him that Yoshiharu’s parents told him to get them to enjoy some vegetarian meal
and does he want to come in. Sou says ya. Eiji says that he’ll inform them
then. Sou tells Eiji that yesterday, he bumped into Yuki at the train station
and it seems like she would want to watch over the coffin [<- ah, more like
as a visitor to the funeral.] and does he have her contact number.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 8]
Yuki told Eiji that she is Matsushima Saki. Eiji asks what
she is saying for Saki isn’t like her who would lie just to get a guy’s favor. “Today,
Ono, a friend whom we knew since high school had died. *going back inside*
Please do not have anything to do with me again. I won’t want to see you
again.” Surprised Yuki can only cry over that. While walking, she sees her
brother waiting for her by the sidewalk’s fence. She asks him why he is there.
He tells her that he checked out the address of the hotel that is charged on
the credit card. “Didn’t you leave a message that you want to tell me
something? So, I came to see you. What had happened?” Yuki tells him that she
likes Eiji but with the identity of Yuki, he won’t like her. “I heard that his
friend Ono-kun had passed away today. Right now, it is already confirmed that
Erika is dead. I also want to find the culprit. I want to get back my lost
memories. But it is Eiji who is always in my mind..” Shiki touches her face and
asks if she wants to go back and become Saki. “To go back.. to return to your
first life.. but before that, I have something that I want to tell you. I hope
that you’ll listen to what I’ll say. The reason at that time as to why I
changed Saki into Yuki..” In the hotel, Yuki sits on the bed while Shiki tells
her about what happened. Looking out the window, Shiki tells her that it was
raining that day and he is driving the car to bring Yuki’s remains down the
mountain. “Midway, I felt that I had hit something so I stopped the car and
went down. I saw you collapsed on the road. Actually, I don’t want you to
recall that incident.. even if it is like this, you’ll listen, right?” Yuki
nods. Flashback: While it was raining, Shiki shouted if she is alright. He is
surprised that it is a high schooler and what could she be doing in this kind
of place so late at night. He is surprised to see her injuries. He looks aghast
over them and he mutters that he has to bring her to the hospital. He quickly
carried her and [probably] put her beside with the real Yuki’s remains at the
backseat. At his house [I presume or probably their hospital], he used scissors
to remove her clothes. [<- Her panties is missing but her bra is still there
so I’m assuming that Shiki didn’t removed that one.] Looking aghast, he mutters
that her whole body is covered with wounds and bruises. From head to foot, she
is covered in mud. She used all her strength to dig through the soil that her
nails split open and became bloodied. End flashback.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 7]
Cover page: “The ME underneath the MASK is the REAL ME..”
Recalling how surprised Yoshiharu is regarding the confirmation of Erika’s
death, Yuki thinks that she didn’t know that Yoshiharu still didn’t know about
Erika and it must have been a shock to him. Yuuya calls out to Yuki and thanks
her for coming. Yuki apologizes for being late and tells him that she had met
up with Yoshiharu. This somewhat surprises Yuuya. Yuki says that she told
Yoshiharu about meeting him and asked if he wants to come along but it turns
out that he didn’t know about Erika, and she carelessly told him that it gave
him a fright. Yuuya says is that so, and after all, there is still that thing
about Kousuke so they basically plan to tell him about it later on. Yuki
apologizes for it. Putting his arm around Yuki, Yuuya says that it isn’t her
fault, and later on, he’ll help her explain things clearly to Yoshiharu. He
suggests that they eat dinner first. At the train station, Yuki tells Yuuya
that they go to that side since there are fewer people there. Yuuya smiles and
says okay. Suddenly, someone is pushed down the train tracks that people are
screaming that someone fell down. Yuki turns around to see Yuuya down at the
train tracks. Yuki [or someone else] is shouting for someone to help in pressing
the emergency stop push button and to quickly call an attendant to come over.
Holding out her hand, Yuki calls for Yuuya to quickly come over. Yuuya could
barely stand up. Yuki becomes tense because there is an announcement that the
train is coming. Yuki goes down the tracks and shouts for Yuuya to stand up. Teary-eyed
Yuki grabs hold of him and tells him to hang in there. Yuuya groan and calls
out to Yuki. The bystanders shout for them to hurry for the train is coming to
the station soon. Tense Yuki grabs Yuuya tighter and tells him to quickly lie
down. Yuuya seems to be in a daze that he mutters, lie down. There are people
screaming that it is too late. The train has already arrived. Yuuya stares at
the train’s headlights. While the others are recording it on their cellphone,
the rest are screaming about calling the ambulance and if they were crushed by
the train. One guy exclaims that that guy and his girlfriend have dodged it by
staying underneath the platform.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 6]
Cover page: “Compared to expectation, the real me, is multiple times COMPLICATED..” After they kissed,
Eiji pulls away from Yuki and apologizes that he couldn’t do it. Yuki asks if
he is thinking about Yuuya. Holding his hands, Eiji says it isn’t Yuuya..he already
has Saki. He looks at her and says that except for her, he cannot lay a hand on,
and it isn’t that he hates her.. This made Yuki blush. She hugs him. He calls
her name. She tells him to let her stay this for now. She wonders why this is
quite complicated for she is quite happy on how he regards Saki’s feelings and
her own. As Eiji hugs her back, Yuki says, “Thank you..I can treasure the
future because I met you, Eiji-kun.” While on the way to the hotel, Yuki thinks
that just thinking of Eiji, her head becomes clear. She calls someone on the
phone. She introduces herself as the younger sister of surgeon doctor Mizuhara
Shiki and is his brother currently on duty. She takes a bath and thinks that
currently, her brother is on duty so tomorrow, she’ll ask him again. “If I
don’t properly deal with the past.. the future will..” Shiki returns home and
is startled that Yuki is waiting for him at the living room. Yuki welcomes him
home. Shiki says that it’s quite early today and he thought that she would
sleep a bit longer. Standing up, Yuki says that she also wants to sleep a lot
longer but she still couldn’t sleep for a long time. “Is the one who attacked
me and Erika, you, brother?” Loosening his tie, Shiki says what about it if she
knew. “You don’t have any evidence to prove whether or not I’m the culprit. You
yourself also couldn’t determine it.” Yuki asks that even if it is like that,
she also couldn’t wait for her memories to recover on its own. “I’m very
worried about Erika. And also, where is the real Yuki right now?” After a
pause, Shiki says okay, he should start talking about it from there.. Looking
out the curtained window, Shiki says, “My younger sister, Yuki-chan had
committed suicide during a trip. *Yuki is surprised* When I found her, she has
already started to show signs of rigor mortis [post mortem rigidity = body
stiffness] so I don’t even have a single trance of margin to revive her.. I
brought Yuki-chan along and drive through the night at the mountain road. As I
was speeding along, I found the injured you. I saved you but Erika wasn’t at
that place. Even if I couldn’t confirm it but I vaguely feel that generally,
Erika is already dead. Both Yuki-chan and Erika are already no longer in this
world.”

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 5]
Cover page: “Following the real memories’ tracks, has
started my journey..” Shiki tells Yuki that her real name is Matsuhima Saki,
one of those female high schoolers who were missing that year. Stunned Yuki
asks what he is talking about. Shiki quickly hugs her tight and tells her that
except for that, do not think of the other things again. “You are my family.”
Yuki exclaims what he is talking about and she doesn’t understand but, she
isn’t.. “Please tell me the truth! If I’m Matsushima Saki then I’m Kaze’s
girlfriend, right!? Then, weren’t he and my family always been looking for
me!?” Shiki tells her that he also thinks that like this is very cruel to her
parents and Eiji but forget about that. “I want you to properly live on as
Mizuhara Yuki. I’m going to resign from my work at the hospital. You’ll also
quit school. There is an overseas hospital that has invited me to go. There’s
no need to worry at all for this family still has some inheritance. *Yuki looks
shock* We can start a new life together. Afterwards, you can resume your
studies and search for a new love. From now on, you are Mizuhara Yuki.”
Trembling Yuki mutters what he is saying, she totally do not understand..
Taking out some pills from his pocket, Shiki tells her that she hasn’t rest up
well so there’s a problem with her thinking so drink this medicine first and
properly sleep. Yuki takes the medicine for she doesn’t want to think. “I only
want to deeply sleep--..” Later on, Yuki wakes up and wonders what time it is.
She goes out and calls out to her brother. At the kitchen, preparing some food,
Shiki asks if she is awake and does she want to drink some soup. Sitting on the
sofa while hugging a cushion, Yuki says that she wants to drink some warm
water. She asks him how long she has been sleeping. Shiki says that he doesn’t
know because he went to the hospital so didn’t she wake up even once during
that time. Shiki has crushed some sleeping pills with a mortal and pestle.
After Yuki ate and drank, she passed out on the sofa. Shiki glances at her and
calls someone that he wants to go on official leave. After some time, wearing
dark suits, Eiji and Yuuya went to Yuki’s house. Yuuya pushes the intercom and
greets Shiki that he is the Tachibana who met with him at the hospital before.
“Yuki-chan isn’t answering her phone and emails. I’m somewhat worried so I’ve
come to visit before..” Shiki says that Yuki’s condition isn’t quite good so
she is still resting. He asks them to please leave for today.

[Notice: This
chapter has some mature content that might not be appropriate for young

Cover page: “If merely based on face value, you believe that
a man says what he means, then aren’t you too naive..?” At the hospital, a
couple of plain clothes police[/detectives] finishes gathering the
fingerprints. Before they leave, they mention that they will be bothering them
again if there is a new development found out from the investigation. On the
bed, Yuki says okay. Shiki tells them ‘good work’ [<- being polite] He
glances at his younger sister and asks how she is feeling. As he touches her
face, Yuki smiles and says that she feels better. Narration: “Upon finding the
skeleton in those ruins, I had fainted and was brought to the hospital.” There
is a knock on the door. Yuuya, accompanied by Eiji, apologizes for interrupting
and for getting Yuki involved in this terrible incident. Shiki says that he
cannot stand them. “It seems that your father is a top brass in the police
department so you weren’t given any strict punishment but you ought to know
that what you guys are doing is trespassing. And you even brought my sister
along to a place where there is an abandoned corpse. From today on, I’m not
allowing you and my sister to continue having a relationship.” Yuuya nervously
asks how can that be.. Eiji apologizes and says that they understand his
worries regarding his sister and from today on, they absolutely won’t get her
involved again but please, only allow them to continue on being friends. Shiki
refuses. Yuki tells her brother not to be like that since she is the one who
said that she wanted to go and she just wanted to help them. Shiki tells her to
calm down and think for what can be done by relying on her. Yuki insists that
even so, ever since that she got into that accident and lost her memories, she
had lost any interest in anyone and anything, and she always thought that it is
an after-effect of the accident. Yuuya and Eiji look surprised upon hearing
this. Yuki continues to say that she always felt that if she didn’t recover her
memories, she could not go back to her former self. “But upon meeting them, and
having the same experiences later, I felt that I can create a new me. I won’t
go and regret over my lost past but going forward in valuing my future. Upon
becoming friends with Tachibana-kun and Kase-kun, it is the first time I have
this kind of feeling.” Shiki sighs and says that in short, it is late so they
should go home first. Yuki timidly says yes. Shiki tells the two guys to also
go home. The guys say yes and apologize again. Then, Shiki offers his deepest
sympathy for their missing girlfriends and it must have been difficult.

[Notice: This chapter has some mature content that might

Cover page: “Because the TRUTH is always blurry and unclear,
all the more people will rely on HOPE.. Isn’t this so?” Creepy guy tells Yuki
to first give him a blow job. Teary-eyed Yuki wonders what to do for she’s so
scared that she couldn’t move. “..but, I have to quickly escape..!” She grabs
some litter on the ground and tosses it on the guy’s face. She tries to run but
the guy immediately recovers and grabs her neck to strangle her. She says, no
and tries to get his hands off her. Then, Yuki recalls herself being strangled
before while she’s shouting for help. Someone shouts, bastard. The guy turns to
look and got punch away by furious Eiji. The guy asks what’s up with him. Eiji
looks seriously irked that the guy became scared. Soon, Eiji punch and kick
him. Then, Eiji takes his ID and tells him to scram. Eiji asks Yuki if she’s
alright. Putting her shawl on her, he asks what that guy did to her. He
suggests that they go to the hospital. Yuki says that she just got beaten a few
times but she doesn’t want to go to the hospital because she doesn’t want other
people to know.. Eiji looks flustered. He says that he understands, so let’s
just go to a hotel nearby where she can tidy herself up because she cannot ride
on the taxi, all dirty like this. At Hotel Grande, Eiji shows her where the
bathroom is. He’ll be going to the store [where he works] to help her get some
clothes, and would she be alright alone. Eiji says that guy must have recognize
her as someone popular so he.. Yuki says ah, no.. This surprises Eiji. Looking
flustered again, Eiji says that she was mistaken as a hostess from their store.
He blames himself for talking to her. He apologizes to her for always getting
her involved and she ends up getting hurt. Yuki smiles and says that she isn’t
blaming him and she should thank him for saving her. Eiji looks surprised. Yuki
comments that compared to the Reika thing, his expression is more mature and
earnest. Going out the room, Eiji says that he’ll come back. In the bathroom,
Yuki stands in front of the mirror naked. She thinks that when she was
strangled, it seems like she remembered something.. “Could it be that.. I was
strangled before..? *heavy breathing* ..no good, I’m feeling dizzy..” She
kneels down and faints. Later on, carrying some clothes, Eiji knocks on the
door. He is surprised that it is quiet and Yuki is not in the bedroom. He
knocks at the bathroom and says that he’s back. “Are you still in the bathroom?
Are you alright?” He thinks that it has already been an hour since he left. He
says that he’ll be opening the door. He opens the door and is surprised to see
fainted Yuki lying naked on the floor. He quickly grabs a towel and covers it
on her.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 2]
[Notice: This chapter has some mature content that might
not be appropriate for young readers.]
Cover page: “In the
end, who is the true me.. Please, tell me..” Yuki returns home and asks why her
brother is home, didn’t he have a night shift. Shiki, her brother, says that he
had asked someone to exchange shifts with him. He asks how come she came home
early for didn’t she have a dinner. Removing the jacket, Yuki says that the
dinner isn’t over yet, and she just went home early because of a little
incident. Shiki grabs her injured hand and asks if that LITTLE incident
involved this wound. Yuki sheepishly apologizes. She thinks that her brother is
a surgeon so he would easily see through this knife wound. Sitting on the sofa,
Shiki asks what kind of friends are those and he doesn’t approve of her
associating with that kind of people. Holding her injured hand, Yuki apologizes
and says that she had dirtied the jacket of a guy called Tachibana [Yuuya] so
she plans to give it back. Shiki tells her not to meet again after that. Yuki
thinks that it is baffling that she feels unwell when talking about them. She
isn’t used to that kind of hostile ambiance and.. Yuki tells her brother that
there is also an infuriating guy whom she doesn’t want to see again. Yuki
thinks that her brother is very nice for after their parents died, the two of
them depended on each other. Their family ran the hospital so even if there’s
no need to worry about money. It must have been hard on him to be studying
medicine [in college] at one side and taking care of his younger sister at the
other side. Seeing her looking down, Shiki tells her to let him hear about it.
Yuki tells him instead that she remembered some fragments of her memory. It is
a girl whom they don’t have a picture of at home but she suddenly floated out
from her brain. Yuki wishes that she can remember everything, regarding him,
and her parents.. Shiki pats her head and says that whether she has no
memories, she is still his younger sister and it is enough for her to be
healthy. He kisses her forehead and tells her not to get involved in dangerous
things. He stands up and says that he’ll warm the bath water. Looking at him,
Yuki thinks that her brother really values her that she doesn’t want him to
worry too much about her. She decides to go with Maiko to O University to
return Yuuya’s jacket. At the dining hall of O University, Maiko tells Yuki
that according to Keita, everyone will eat here at noon. Yuki thanks her for
accompanying her. Maiko tells her that it is okay for it also enables her to
see Keita. Then, Maiko informs her about that guy arriving, after Yuki left, and
like Yuuya he has a totally different aura and very handsome. Maiko says that
it would be nice if that Eiji would also come today. Yuki hopes he doesn’t for
he already has some girl he likes but would even go to bed with some other
girl, that Kase Eiji is a two-timer, and no matter what his inner feelings are,
he’s really awful. And it puts her in a bad mood just thinking of it. Yuki
decides that this is the last time she’ll see them. Then, Maiko says that
they’ve come. The other girls are blushing as Yuuya and friends minus Eiji
arrive. Maiko says that they really stand out and quite an eye-candy. Yuki
thinks that handsome guys are mostly used to being looked at by others but
Yuuya is definitely not the same.

Sleeping Beauty [Chapter 1]
[Free Talk: This is Domoto Nao/Enomoto
Tsubaki’s new series in ARIA. I haven’t read her series before. Currently, there
are already four chapters are out and it seems good. Hehe, that is I just
browsed it and hasn’t thoroughly read it yet with the help of a dictionary. ^^;
The story is somewhat mystery-type with an amnesia girl as lead. This is josei-type
and there might be some themes not appropriate for young readers. The mangaka
also writes BL so there’s kind of ‘bromance’ here. Thankfully, guesswork names
are minimized because the mangaka wrote their ‘English’ names in chapter 4. ^^ Whether
I’ll continue to summarize this will depend on circumstances.]

There is a scene of
a man who apparently committed suicide by slashing his wrist and soaking it in
a bathtub. Another man holds on to a young woman and says, “Don’t look,
Yuki-chan.” Narration: “When I was 17 years old, I got into a traffic accident
that made me lose all of my memories. And afterwards..some other incident became
the turning point for me to finally remember the forgotten me.” Blurb: “Who is
the enemy, who is the ally..can you differentiate clearly these people? With
memories sealed far away, who is the prince who’ll save me?” Yuki poses at a
photo shoot. Narration: “It seems that before the accident, I’ve already done
this modeling job.” After the shoot is finished, the others praise her for
being beautiful and cute. Yuki thanks them and thinks that it is due to
make-up. The staff tells her to be careful on her way home since it is already
dark. After thanking for her concern, Yuki goes out the building. Narration:
“Two years ago, I got into an accident. Not only the painful and sad things,
the happy and joyful things, but as well as leftover memories of my deceased
parents, everything has disappeared from my brain. Continuing my work
before..could possibly be an opportunity for me to regain my memories. So, I’ve
picked up this modeling job again. During the time when I had not lost my
memories, it seems that I’m a very sociable person who has many friends. After
the accident, I’ve become easily distracted and lost in thought, quite
dispirited and weak. I would tend to lose interest in things that I don’t ask
nor hear anything. It is also the same with the people around me. What kind of
dream I had before, do I have someone I like.. *looks up the sky* I have this
kind of feeling that if I regain my memories, I will change.” In the university,
a girl calls out to [Mizuhara] Yuki to join a formal dinner with friends
tonight. Yuki tries to decline [Haruna] Maiko’s invitation because she is still
not used to college. Maiko says that she also knows that Yuki would thoroughly
refuse but don’t say that, she is her first friend in college. Yuki got retain
for a year because of the accident and she’s stupid that she repeats a year so
compared to the others, the two of them can properly get along. Maiko tells her
that there is also a prince-like guy there. She also wants to know more about
Yuki for she wants them to be good friends. Yuki thanks her and starts to think
of it. Maiko quickly says that it is decided and tells Yuki to call each other
by their given names. Yuki blushes and agrees. Yuki calls her older brother
that tonight she is going to eat out with friends so she’ll be late in coming
home. She mentions that there seems to be guys though she doesn’t know if they
are from the same school. Yuki assures her brother not to worry for there are
also girls and doesn’t he have a night shift so do his best in saving the
patients. At the restaurant, a cheerful guy introduces himself as Kondou Keita,
the host for today. The plan for this is to make new friends with Maiko’s
friends and even if one of the guys is late, they should first have a toast.
Everyone had a toast. Maiko says that since there are a lot of people, they
should first do a self-introduction by telling one’s name and favorite food.
