Rere Hello [Chapters 39-40]

Chapter 39: Class has been dismissed. Ririko fans herself with her hand for it’s so hot. There are only a few days left before summer vacation starts. She recalls that there is a ball tournament at Minato’s school. She wonders if they are still playing basketball. Since she has some time, she plans to go back home first then go to work.

Chapter 37 - Flashback: Aoi asked if the cat strap is a gift from his girlfriend. Minato smiled and told her even if it isn’t a gift, but they bought it together as a remembrance. End flashback. Typing on the computer, Ririko apologizes to Minato on the phone. She asks if she can postpone their appointment for a while. This surprises Minato.

Chapter 35: A couple of grandfathers are talking in a bar. One of the grandfathers had to move to a different place due to a reversal of fortune. The other grandfather wanted to help him out.

Rere Hello [Chapter 19]

At Minato’s place, Ririko asks him and others what kind of temaki [cone] sushi they want. After they made their orders, Ririko quickly made them beautifully. Suou apologizes for the increase of people there but Ririko doesn’t mind for it is more meaningful if there are a lot of people. Ririko thinks that with everyone around, she can allay yesterday’s awkwardness. Tadamori and Yuuma talk about sushi in Japanese stores being too simple whereas in overseas, it is too complicated with the use of tempura [<- fried tempura bits, I presume], cheese and soy sauce. Ririko laughs and thinks that because it is all guys in her house, she is okay with guys around her. She had realized that Minato is special because of how her heart goes beating every time [when she’s with him]. She glances at Minato who is making a temaki sushi. She tells him that if he wants one, then she’ll make him one. He gives her the temaki sushi he made and tells her not to only make for others. Ririko is sitting on the floor in order for it to be convenient to make sushi. Realizing that he is giving it to her, she protests that she still has to make for others. Holding the temaki filled with ikura [/roe], Minato urges her to hurry or it will already spill out. Moved Ririko happily eats it and declares that it is simply delicious. Minato smiles over this. He points at the side and says that he wants to eat the egg[/omelet] roll there.

Rere Hello [Chapter 18]

At a home & kitchen store’s apron section, Kengo asks Ririko which one she likes. Ririko continue to insist that there is no need to compensate her for it ought to be cleaned up with some bleach. She is actually doubtful about it since if she used bleach, it might ruin the decorative pattern on her apron. Holding up an apron with laces and ribbons, Kengo tells her that if she doesn’t quickly decide, he is going to buy this one. Freaking out over that kind of apron and his threat that he is going to buy it, Ririko manages to quickly spot some aprons being sold at a discount. She quickly grabs a plain looking apron and says that it is this one. Holding the bag which contains the newly purchased apron, Ririko felt tired but she still thanks him and apologizes for the trouble. Kengo apologizes for dragging her but it is because he doesn’t like to owe someone something. He says that if he just let it be, he feels that there is something plugged in his heart. Since she is the type who wants to do something immediately after thinking of it, Ririko says that she can understand that. Ririko thinks that since it is like that.. She decides to accept the apron. Kengo says that his heart feels at ease now so how about they eat together. Ririko exclaims that didn’t he just ate, and he’s hungry again.

Rere Hello [Chapter 17]

[Free talk: For those who want to read the previous chapters, just wait for the English scanlations since I no longer do back chapter summaries. ^^; If it’s okay with you to jump, read on. Anyway, previously, Sou’s Minato's very, very annoying cousin Serina came back and kept on bothering Ririko since she is jealous of her. Serina plans to marry Minato but of course, Minato only likes her as a ‘younger sister’ but he is very caring for her. In chapter 16, Ririko has finally realized that she likes Minato. After he brought her home, Minato says that he likes her. Ririko thinks that he meant it as an ordinary friend ‘like’. Even if for her it isn’t that kind of ‘like’, she tells him that she likes him, too. And, they were interrupted by Ririko’s younger brother. Then, Serina tries to get her to quit working for Minato. Ririko faces Serina and says that she likes Minato so sorry, she cannot quit this job. Serina couldn’t do anything when Ririko threatens her that she’ll tell Minato what she has been doing to make her quit. And, well, Ririko being Ririko is somewhat softening up Serina. ^^ PS. If I got the names wrong, just correct me okay? I don’t want to skim through the English scanlations to look for the names ^^; Edit: Thanks for the correction of the lead guy's name, guys. Hehe, I thought 'Minato' was the surname, and the name was Sou and I typed it wrong..should had been Suou. ^^;; ]

Narration: “Basically by just saying the words that one wants to say, it can be conveyed to the other person. But there are times, that even if one has confessed, the other party cannot understand its true meaning. That is also a possibility.” In the classroom, Yuuma exclaims in shock that everyone is staring at him. Minato says that he’s quite exaggerating. Yuuma whispers that anyone would be shock upon hearing that. He asks if Minato is going steady with Ririko and when did she confess. Minato says no, he was the one who said it. Yuuma is stunned. Minato says that he was the one who confessed. Yuuma couldn’t believe this that he repeatedly clarifies that it was Minato who confessed to Ririko. He says that Minato never took the initiative to confess and what medicine that he ate [that make him act this way]. Minato says that he didn’t say that he definitely won’t confess, he only felt that it wasn’t necessary. Minato recalls someone saying that after confessing, take advantage of going steady. Minato mutters that it turns out to be something like this.
