Free Talk: Kono Oto Tomare 96

Well, the ‘experiment’ has worked. Not only did Atsumu benefited from it, Natsu also did. Hehe, for them to have such a ‘high’ from this, it makes me wonder if they can top that in the actual performance. I guess by that time, there would be imagery just like in the prelims.

Apparently, Natsu was also lacking something and that is to really want to play music with his club members. It makes me think that is still the Tokize’s edge wherein their emotions just come together, and it isn’t just knowing how to play well.

Actually, that scene made me think of Ichiei. Have they also overcome their weakness when they had switch musical positions? Anyway, because of this practice, I think Tokize’s new members have bonded more with each other.

  1. Ahaha, such high from music/performance was actually quite common, at least for me, that is. It was very short reading but we got the point very well. Thanks again Kat.^^

And now that you mention, realistic speaking, even if Ichiei hasn't got the emotion up, they are the best musicians so it'd be almost impossible for them not have leveled up. Let's see how it the author pull this one, I'm curious.
    -
Yea, I got that from what you showed me last message. I think it's a bit weird since is fairly common over here, not just where I live, tho.
    -
The "public" doesn't give you any discount and you are only accepted in some very few places, obviously, the public ones. The private ones give you a fair amount of discount and commonly no need to pay anything as they cover almost all, but they are very expensive, obviously.

We have those, too. Not as much as it used to, but there are those labs, still. Normally tho, these exams are done in a "official" govt lab.
    -
Haha, yea, that was insanity. I was like, welp, here we go, finish this. BTW, some characters are very different from what they used to be. One'd argue that they have grown, but honestly, it doesn't feel that way. I might be bias, tho.

    1. Yup, Fê ^^

Indeed but then, from their side/from what was shown, it seems that some members have an attitude problem so that might/can be their weakness. Isn't that harder to fix?

      - - -

I see but then, it is like you get what you paid for.

      - - -

How different is different? Out of character-type? I would think that it would depend if what was experienced relates to the change. Like, a happy cheerful girl encountering a rapist can change that person, right? Though, it also depends on how that person gets over that.

      Delete
    2. Yes, but seeing how they could still provide top class performance as group, I'd think they could fix or at least circumvent that issue to some degree. Realistic, it's not easy, but doable even if one were not to fix that at all. I recall some bands that had/have some really bad chemistry/relationship between them but still put some great albums/shows/performances, they were/are that good. So, with that in mind, realistic speaking, I don't think it'd be that hard, but we all know what we're here for, right? Pretty sure the author'll pull some stuff to make Tokize shine even brighter, and I'm also pretty sure I'd be fine with it, haha.
      -
Yea, for sure. Just that the public should cover at least some stuff, or not put you into a never ending line to wait forever.
      -
With no spoilers, different like you'd say: is that really Annie? Really, really? Alright, okay, I guess.

That kind of feel I'm having with her for the last couple chapters. Not bad, just different, ^^'

    3. I see. But it is amazing that they can still do that even with a bad relationship...perhaps, because they're being professional?

      True.

      - - -

Ah, I see. Hm...does she still have her awareness while frozen? That might explain it...she had been doing a lot of thinking while inside.

      Delete
    4. Yup, that's what I think. Talent + effort + professionalism are very good and must have tools.
      -
Yes, yes. It seems she was 'awake' all the time. Like I said, not bad, just a different side/taste of her character. And perhaps, that's the best thing it happened so far, haha.

      Delete
    5. True.

      - - -

Haha, I see. Hm...that's the best thing that happened and it doesn't quite sit well/feels different for you. So the rest is...? 😅

      Delete
    6. Haha, it's not that it doesn't site well, but it feels different due to the drastic change we just talked about. And yea, the rest you can imagine, hopefully the anime does a better job.

Speaking of anime and better job, seems like KoT will indeed have a second season and I haven't even watched the first yet, ^__^'

      Delete
    7. Ah, is that so. For me, KoT anime is so-so. Maybe because of the animation = lower budget? Or perhaps, because I already know the story.

How's the pandemic on your side of the world? Here, they are already easing the lockdown even if well, it is still quite high per day around 1-2k. They are already saying go to the beach, amusement parks, more restaurants open, more age groups can go out. Economy needs healing. I guess it is like 'survival of the fittest' until the vaccine is the motto.

It has been raining throughout the week. We have La Nina until March. Remember the manmade white beach. It is becoming black again; it's original color. The excuse, the white sand just went under the black...it didn't wash away so you experts are wrong. I who have no degree whatsoever regarding nature/science is the one who's correct.

The speakership in congress has been resolved. The president said so and that's it. They even have sessions at a restaurant to proclaim it with a fake mace/symbol of congress. Both parties claim to have the numbers but after the president said so, everyone jumped ship. Hehe, and we heard that they got 2m each for vacation since the session has already ended.

How's things going there? Have a nice weekend ^^

      Delete
    8. Might be both, tho. I haven't seen yet, I'm always finding something else to do/watch, ahaha.
      -
It's still quite a mess, but more due to the political fights about who's wrong/right did the best/worst, despite the numbers lowering each day. The lockdown was eased/partly lift since july/august, but a lot of things are still closed. Tho bars/pubs and their parties are in full motion, even more than before, seeing how a lot of people lost their jobs/can't/don't work normally anymore. There's a crack house near me that parties constantly from weds to sunday.

Yea, that was obviously one of the worst ideas on how to spend the little precious money. And sure, it also happens around here, tho most experts are usually wrong, too. It's a mayhem.

Food prices spiked quite a lot, everything is of much lesser quality, and it's not like they were of a good/decent before. I still struggle to find good doctors and need to hope and pray the next one isn't too bad so I can have my sick leave renewed again. Nothing really changed, it got worse, but didn't exactly change.

Had a rough weekend with this health of mine, but I'm slightly better. Thank you, have a great week, too. ^^

      Delete
    9. Haha, I see. But then, perhaps, you're right.

      - - -

Those parties are held at night? I guess these are the people who still have money to spend, right? Here, yes, the well-to-do have parties and foreigners. The poor cannot afford it...actually, probably don't even have money for food.

True...there are 'quack' experts like I recently read how furious some doctors at a certain doctor who advised someone to do a potato compress for goiter. Even our department of health head saying before that asymptomatic covid patients aren't infectious. And, many people believe this kind of 'experts'.

Hm...there aren't many good doctors because...? They're expensive or migrated? Sick leave renewal time again? I forgot...this is monthly or after a few months?

Thanks. It has been raining throughout the week lately. Gloomy weather.

From the president's Monday speech, we are now all drug addicts. He says that 167 million of the people are addicts. Well, our population is only 109+ million. And, regarding the anti-terror law, it is quite bad. They are now going to publish the names of 'terrorists'. Then, they have 15 days to prove that they are not terrorists. Haha, talk about ruining your reputation. Anyway, being in any kind of lists is bad news here because that will usually end up as a hit list.

      Delete
    10. Yea, from night 'till morning. Last one was still ongoing around 7am.

While things are really bad and got even worse due to the lockdown, people are using the money they received from gov for a lot of things. Food, while the most essential, is really just an after thought exploited only when need to go to tv to say things are bad due to admins.
      -
Honestly, I'd never understand how someone can attest anything about asymptomatic people. Isn't that already implying that they don't have any symptoms and are obviously the hardest to know anything? I'm not even be sure about it, just know something.
      -
After two months, and most doctors are bad just because, really. Some at least try to do their jobs properly, but most simply don't care and are there only to cash that fat money by the end of the month. Only the private ones are better, but even so, if you're not paying a good amount, it's just so-so to say the least.
      -
Man, I really don't know how that clown is still there. I mean, I do know/have an idea, but am I pissed just hearing about w/e he does. Can't imagine how you and any other sane person feel.

Over here the dictator like gov of the state wants mandatory vaccine for everyone, and already bought and spend millions on the sinovac, that hasn't been fully tested and it obviously won't. Democracy, they say. Freedom of speech and choice, they say.

I ain't taking that shit and I'm sure I'll be obligated to, seeing how I work for the estate.

      Delete
    11. Wow. I guess that is their way to forget their problems?

An afterthought, huh. Hm...what do they buy if it isn't food? Here, the govt assumed people might buy drugs...well, the addicts if given money. Is it connected to the parties? Buy booze and party?

      - - -

Ah, I see. Here, I'm under the impression that the really good ones went abroad. There was a time when doctors studied again to be nurses because nurses abroad got higher pay than being a doctor here. Speaking of that, the govt is trying to stop nurses from working abroad lately. That is because of the pandemic...they kept on yapping about patriotism, etc but won't pay good enough salary + give protective gear, etc. Apparently, we have a shortage. They had a program of health workers from rural areas helping in the capital which is the epicenter. Only a few went for it.

      - - -

True. For some reason, he got 91% approval rate according to a survey. Either the survey is wrong or people are just blind/okay with everything. Some people wonder if they were surveyed after getting government aid. Hehe, maybe most people here are masochist. It took a very long time for them to revolt during the Spanish occupation or any other occupation including the dictator's term. They have long patience unlike in other countries. Or, they have low standard for the government. Ah, wait...they have a high one during the last admin. I guess because this time, being an opposition = low popularity and can get you killed if you're not that well-known.

Oh, so the vaccine there is bought by the local govt and not the national? Here, it is the national. I'm not sure if we are paying yet...sometimes they say they have the money, sometimes, no money. The ones will be prioritize they say are the poor, police and military according to the president. I'm not sure if the police and military want to be guinea pigs.

It is amusing though. Remember the dengue vaccine, dengvaxia? Because it was from the last admin, they are saying it is bad to the point of saying like anyone who got it has died. They are connecting every death of everyone who had it as the fault of dengvaxia. Like, everyone knew the kid's death is appendicitis but no, it is because of that vaccine.

In their passionate want to say that it is bad, they practically convince people that ALL vaccines are bad. So, we have polio cases again. Mothers do not want their kids vaccinated. I'm now wondering if the medicines expiring in the govt warehouse that was audited included vaccines.

So now, the govt is saying vaccine is good, we need it, etc. All those anti-vaccine people from the pro-admin must be changing their tunes. Hehe, though it happens often. ^^; Having to change what they are saying when the govt flipflopped what they say. Before, it is don't go out, you undisciplined people, that is why we have a lot of covid cases. Now, with the same amount of cases, go out, the economy needs you, travel, work, etc.

By the way, how do they plan to do that mandatory vaccine? Like, people are called by families, names in alphabetic order? Ah, this includes kids and old people? The ones I heard here is China vaccine and the Russian one.

    12. Yea, I'd guess so, and calling the cops doesn't help, some have ties with them.

I mean, some people are fine eating w/e just to fill their bellies. So the money goes to parties, drugs, gambles, games, prostitutes, so on and so forth. Some I know used the money to pay bills, others to party and barbecue, some even bought new generation consoles/pc/games.
      -
I get baffled by how much bad ideas they can come up with even worse excuses for it. I didn't think that could be the case because things over here are far from being any kind of sane/normal.
      -
I fear that both survey being wrong and people being blind/okay with it are the right answers. Same happens here and I always wonder how and why, then I talk to people and realize we are doomed.
      -
yea, the national/federal can only distribute money, tho in case of vaccine, the national/federal health institute should be the one deciding things, but those judges - that are much more thieves not even in disguise - took that away, too. Delegating everything to local admins.

I won't be guinea, I might lose my job, but I won't be made like that.

Ha, it's happening here, but everyone still dying is from covid, even in a traffic accident.

Normal and fully tested vaccines take very long to be made and to expire, so I don't know in the case you mentioned, but then again, vaccines can be dangerous if you're not in full health when taking. I've seen it myself and also happened to me not too long ago. That is why I'm against this, especially when we already have very good and efficient methods of treatments, as long you don't wait until is too late.

Sinovac is china, yes. Sino means China/from china, so the name is Chinavac. I still don't know how they plan to do that, honestly, I'm already very pissed but such decision. And people say they are not dictators, vow to protect people's freedom and all that speech. Sure, I'm not buying it. The only ones exempt of taking the shot are people with medical health problems that can't take and must prove it.

      Delete
    13. Hehe, have ties...and maybe bribe helps, too... Haha, or they are also there. =P

Games? As in sport games? About gambling, well, the govt here is even encouraging it...well, the state-sponsored ones like lottery. Hehe, they need the funds.

      - - -

Haha, true. Quite depressing when one would want to be optimistic = they cannot be that stupid/blind but somehow, they are.

      - - -

      Ah, I see.

Hm...won't they make some punishment if you don't want to do it like what they did with voting?

Haha, I see. It is the opposite here now since they want to lower the case. Some recoveries turned out to be dead. Like, a family got a certificate that the family member is negative. The family says, what, we just buried that family member. So, it makes us think that the cases are more than what is recorded.

Oh, what can happen if you're not in full health? Well, since the president before volunteered to be first, I learned that he cannot be first because he is senior and they usually don't give it to old people. For me, I cannot have live vaccine because of being immune-compromised. I actually wanted to get the pneumonia one but keep on postponing = wanted to do it but got a cold and now, cannot do it.

Ah, so there's only one Chinese vaccine? I don't recall the Chinese vaccine's name mentioned here. The one I often hear is sputnik. Hehe, that's their usual line here, too. Their words do not match their deeds.

For now, what they say is they are going to do it in places with high covid. I heard hospitals and probably in small districts where there are a lot of cases? Not too sure yet. They are doing some studies too using coconut oil, some herbal medicine used for dengue, and imported medicine with some patients. So, being guinea pigs have started already. Actually, even before...usually the poor.

    14. Yea, gambling is actually prohibited, but it never stopped. I've seen some people lose a lot of money because of it, and they weren't all that well off to begin with. Not lottery, tho. Lottery is legal.
      -
A lot of people, even the ones that know me for a very long time call me pessimist because of that, not being blind. I'm not pessimist, but I'm not delusioned nor in denial. I see bad stuff and how it keeps increasing, how can say anything that goes completely against what I'm actually seeing? Unless you want me to say something about Jesus returning, then yea, it'll be fine, tho we all know that before that it'll be very, very tough, especially for the ones who believe in Him.
      -
I bet they will, I probably will lose my job if I don't take and don't have medical papers saying I can't/shouldn't take it.

yea, some stuff like that happened over here but I wouldn't say it stopped. We can't believe in the media, really can't. There's a site where the info about deceases and the causes of deaths is very accurate, but most people don't care about to even try looking at it. Then, I'm the one pessimist, ahaha.
      -
You just said the reasons why you shouldn't take when you're not very healthy. It could aggravate instead of helping you to fight w/e it is you're taking it. It compromises your immunologic system even further so when taking a shot, you must be completely healthy and the dose should be right. There's a reason why children don't take the same amount as adults, and some adults, depending on their weight/height ratio also have different doses. Another reason why I'm not taking it, these things take a very long time to be fully tested and even then it's not actually that safe, since it's considered okay if it has only 75% of efficiency/efficacy.
      -
There are, but in my state, the dictator/gov already made deals with the chinese - he has dealings with it since before he was a politician with his company/business, wonder why he chose them.... The president already signed for another company, that one from oxford/gates. Tho I haven't seen anyone talking about the russion one, this sputnik - it already has the worst name it could get if you want to "trust it".
      -
It is always the poor. I was talking about that with a friend of mine not too long ago, about how we are the first world countries guinea pigs and they do w/e they want, and how the poor are the guinea pigs for the guinea pigs. It is quite saddening, actually.

      Delete
    15. I see. Here, it is legal as long as it is sanctioned = the government gets a cut. There's lottery, casino and online gaming.

      - - -

True. As I mentioned before, some say it is because of pride. They don't want to admit that they made a mistake in choosing their leaders so they'll stick with them no matter what. I guess truly so after saying such harsh words that ruin relationships and reputations. Well, that is one of the theories.

Like, remember the TV station that the president shut down by not granting its franchise due to many reasons that the different govt offices say have no major violation for the denial of franchise. So, a guy's family members are for the president so they also wanted it to shut down. The guy is really angry because he works in that station and he lost his job because of the shut down. And, he is the breadwinner of the family. So, I don't know, is that stupid, blind loyalty or what?

      - - -

      Oh.

It is interesting though that your country is increasing the numbers. Is there a reason for that? I mean, is it for making people scared since it is easier to control them, no rallies, and can borrow more money? Here, it seems to be the reason...rather, theory why the pandemic isn't really addressed.

I guess it is like what some are talking about these days wherein the military doesn't want to totally finish off the rebels/armed groups so that they will still be useful, don't have to fight external enemies, get a big budget, has some control with politicians who want to pamper them, etc.

We don't have such a site. Everything is only from the government/dept of health. They have some messed up data and even if some experts want to help them with it, they refused. So, it is believed that they are hiding something.

      - - -

Ah, I see. I thought there is some other reason. True, all medicines have side effects and there might be some adverse effects on some. I recall the president suggests that the police/military will be administering the vaccine. Doctors are asking what if there is an adverse effect, would the police/military know what to do.

In case you noticed, everything is pretty much under the military/police generals. Even the social welfare. The ones handling this pandemic are generals, too. The president said the reason is because they just follow orders, do the task whatever it is = no questions asked.

      - - -

Ah, I see. The vaccine by the president...to whom would it be given? People in government?

True. From what they are saying lately, it seems like we have no money/not much money to buy the vaccine so the best we can do is to be guinea pigs so that we can somehow more or less be vaccinated...well, a part of the population. I'm still confused though if being guinea pigs has compensation or we still have to pay them to be guinea pigs.

      Delete
    16. Ah yes, there are a lot of online casino/gamble sites too, and some with proper bets, but the bet ones are tied with the gov.
      -
It is not so easy to determine the causes, uh? It might be all of it, pride/ego, blind faith/loyalty and stupidity, too. Also, their own personal interests in the matter. Like, if some win a lot of money in one admins, even if it's proven they were corrupt and really bad, they'll still vote again for them just because it wasn't bad on their end, so to speak. I know some people like that, actually.
      -
It is all political, again. Some will say it increased, others will say it didn't and it goes on, and on. But I think it is as you said. Put the fear of living into the population, they'll be too scared to revolt against any 'scumbaggeries'. Tho it didn't stop the antifas from wrecking havoc. The "mysteries", right...

I always said that they only reason such things like guerrilas/cartels haven't ended yet is because "someones" are profiting a lot from those.
      -
The thing is, the side effects not always appear right away. I myself got them right after taking the shots, but they weren't as bad as my friend that got a bit later and even worse than me. There are also news of people actually dying in those tests for covid vacs, Singapure just published not long ago that a couple of people died two weeks after the tests so they decided to stop the test for now. These things take a lot of time and I'm not willing to be a guinea pig like that, not sir.

Yea, like we believe it's just because of that. Obviously is to control by force any thing that might happen. Are those generals doctors? I don't think so.
      -
No, no. Like I said, it's just a political infight between these factions. Tho the dictator in São Paulo can't force his vac on the whole country, he can later say w/e about how he deeply cares and acts fast, like he's already doing, and then run for president in 22 with that slogan.

We still have to pay for being their pets. At least, here we are paying for the vaccines. To my despair as I think is just too much stupidity and most people are not even realizing that. But I'm sure the ones putting that ahead are the ones who're getting paid to push onto the people. So they profit, but we perish.

      Delete
    17. Ah, yes. I have heard about that, too. It is like at least we are voting for the devil we know rather than the one we don't know which might be even worse.

      - - -

Oh, there are also antifa-s in your country? Here, even if it is a peaceful protest with social distancing, the police will cause ruckus and arrest. BUT if the rally is PRO-govt, they can go about it without any trouble at all.

I did heard a theory that the rich/well-to-do prefer this because it keeps the poor in check. I mean, there are a lot of hunger going on with stores closed, lay-offs, etc. The fear of what will happen to them = can be killed/jailed though some 'examples' that are shown on TV.

True. I mean, the military is actually clueless how come their weapons end up in the hands of the rebels. Obviously, someone is selling it to them. There are occasions though that they were stolen from policemen who immediately surrendered and handed over their weapons...key to the weapon store if raided.

We also have a local terrorist that made a killing by kidnapping foreigners = huge ransom paid. There were some leads that the local politicians are in cahoots with them wherein they share the loot but nothing ever happens after that. Perhaps, they use that loot to bribe, too. Hehe, the benefits of stealing big = share it around a bit in order to get away with it.

      - - -

Oh, I haven't read that news. But yes, it does take a lot of time and testing to know that a vaccine will be safe. Well, even if it is safe, there can be side effects depending on the person.

Nope, none of those generals are doctors.

      - - -

Lol, oh, he has president ambitions. Okay...I understand now that he's grandstanding. Hehe, we have a lot of those here.

True. There was once a news reporter asking the poor about being the first to test the vaccine. A woman said, are you crazy, I might die, let them [politicians] have it first and then, I'll get it if it is safe. Though the next interviews after some months, it is, the people interviewed are okay with it. I'm not sure if the news program was reprimanded over the first honest reaction.

Anyway, lots of traffic rules craziness having lately. They are adding more stress to the people by sudden change of rules = violation = money pentalty. There is this highway-type in the capital which is famous for being traffic. They are doing all sorts of experiments on it without even thinking what might happen. They are changing it like every 2 weeks that now, they admitted that they are also confused by the rules they are implementing.

Then, there is this rush to implement cashless transactions. First it was the bus wherein NO CASH will be accepted. They are forcing people usually poor to buy a card that has suddenly increased its price from 20 to 80. And, there is a minimum load. Most people only have exact money for transpo so there was a huge ruckus. Then, after the first day, there is a clamor for it to be free. The company only offered it to really poor people who cannot pay. In the end, yes, you can still pay cash. But what about those who already bought the cards? No news about it if they would be refund or not.

The new one is all toll gates will be cashless...so everyone has to have a rfid. So now, all those installation sites cannot accommodate everyone who wanted it = running out of rfid to install. The lines are too long that you'll be wasting time waiting for your turn. For now, they are extending the deadline but a lot are complaining so I don't know if they'll change their mind about it later on.

Anyway, have a nice weekend. We will have a typhoon coming this weekend. It is suppose to be strong. Hehe, for amusement, we wait and see how much of that fake white sand would be left if this typhoon hits where it is. They are actually planning to build a breakwater to protect the fake sand...and ya, they should have done that first. Wasting money to protect a fake sand beach instead of using it for pandemic.

    18. At least, if you don't want to vote you don't really need/have to, right? In our case, we need to even if just to blank our options. Still bad, tho.
      -
Well, I don't think it's a theory as it was already proven to be true. Most of the richest got even richer during the lockdown, how's that possible? And some even encouraged the stay home things then encouraged the protests. The "funny" thing, here at least, is that the antifas should be fighting against the fascists measures/decisions, right? But they are acting pro fascists measures. Go figure.

To be honest, I can't blame the ones surrendering because they might get killed and if they have family, well, you get the gist. But it's obvious something not even that shadowy is going around not that much behind the scenes. Like they always know what car/truck/shipment carry what they want, always know when and where the security is most vulnerable so on and so forth.

Were there proofs of such thing? At least some indices?
      -
I don't know why I asked if I already knew the answer, it was obvious none will be doctor or have any knowledge of any decent medicine. T___T
      -
That woman had a clear mind, tho. And the others interviewed might be paid to answer what they want to hear. It happened here, but they got caught because they were always reusing the same people over and over, just with different make up - not that different, to be honest. Surely, almost no one cared and cares and still vote for them...
      -
What kind of new rules? Is like rotation or something? We had some problems here because the most stupid mayor I've seen in some years decided to diminish the bus/trains/subways circulating and started an ever tighter rotation of normal/private cars, guess what happened?

They're starting some cashless things over here, too. Like there, it's a mess so far.

I get so mad whenever I see/hear that kind of stuff. Protect the lives of the people, not some w/e thing that help in nothing. I really do need to calm myself down, ahaha.

You too, Kat. Have a great weekend, as much as possible in these conditions. Take care^^

    19. Yes, though many are a bit paranoid too because it is a belief that there would be people who would vote for you instead. There were videos of people answering multiple ballot papers. Though, we don't know if those are added or in place of those who didn't vote. At times, your name can be missing so that you won't vote = others vote for you. Even dead people are still in the list.

      - - -

That's is strange. I thought it is anti-facists so I'm asking if there is such in your place. I heard it more frequently in US news. So, what are they protesting about?

      - - -

True. Though, isn't that a given if you're in the police? Some military are furious that they didn't even put on a fight. Ah, wait, our police tend to have lack of shooting practice and tend to kill easy targets so... Whereas our assassins here are pretty good like sniper from a far away place = hilly area or can shoot using right and left hands. Theory though is they are probably from the military.

      That's right.

The ransom? Yes, because the hostage is freed immediately. I somewhat remember that the local official/s were the one facilitating the transaction. As for the connections, they have traced the relationships. Well, such news are usually mentioned briefly and never again. Hm...I think it is like in Nigeria before. The province is poor so they are using the money to help themselves.

      - - -

      Yup.

      - - -

New traffic rules. They suddenly made all bus stops in the inner lane. Some motorists didn't know and went into that lane because there is no traffic there. Violation. I have mentioned others to you like barrier between riders in motorcycle. Suddenly, public jeeps cannot do a u-turn on their route so force the passengers to walk a couple of km for their connecting ride/destination. One time, they want to change the length of seat distance every two weeks like from 1 meter to half to 3/4 to 1/2. People joke, so we need a ruler now. They now ended up with one seat apart.

What is rotation? Is that the one wherein certain cars can come out on certain days? We used to have it here before the pandemic. It is a numbers scheme wherein car license ending with 1-2 are not allowed on Mondays, 3-4 on Tues, and so forth. The result, rich and for businesses bought more cars so that they can evade it. There was a suggestion of odd-even scheme like odd on certain days and even on certain days.

      Haha, it happened there, too.

Well, the typhoon skipped our city so the fake sand is still there. It did devastated the ones hit. The government is still giving us 'laughs that would make one cry'. They have a briefing about it on the day when it will hit. It hit around 4-5 am. Their briefing to the people, it is on 10am. The president is a no-show as usual. He only shows up on Mondays/when he will have a speech/troubleshooting between his allies.

Because of the no-show...okay, whenever he is missing for a long period of time or didn't show up when he is suppose to show up like holiday ceremonies, people would ask 'is he dead'. Sometimes, I wonder if the hate is really bad and well, the situation is helpless that some opposition can only wish him to die = problem solved. Realistically, the problem won't be solved that easily.

His followers make excuses like he doesn't micromanage, it is Sunday = he's off and he's entitled to, etc. Anyway, the VP went to see the provinces that were hit and give relief goods. I think that forced the president to show up and do an aerial check the places. The aerial check is a bit doubtful since they just show the president and his male personal assistant/senator/spokesman/official photographer especially for proofs of life, inside the helicopter/plane and the pictures of the places that was hit by a calamity.

You know how they were caught one day that it is fake? The president is wearing sunglasses that reflect like a mirror. What is shown was the runway. Lol, the plane is in the runway.

    20. It's not electronic right? Over here, despite being electronic and having to check on entrance and exit, there're still such frauds as dead people voting and you being able to vote for the dead, too.
      -
The sit apart thing are for public transport, right? Please, tell me so, I won't be able to recover if they are doing this for private cars as well. And what do you mean by the jeep and the u turn? What's the matter and what's the correlation with the disease?
      -
I did read a bit about how bad it hit there, there were also some tsunami in europe as well and some stuff happening around here. All those signs and people still going on about useless stuff. I dread.

So, what did the gov actually do? Nothing but more despair?

I was reading and thinking, that mofo is definitely faking his pictures if he can't even be filmed live and then you hit me with that last phrase. I see, nothing but despair, alright.

BTW, I don't think presidents should have a day off, especially when in calamities are happening in your own country.

      Delete
    21. It is electronic...in a way. I'm not sure in other countries but here, it is about 12-15 inches, iirc, hard paper wherein you shade your choice. It looks like this:
      https://media.philstar.com/images/articles/gen3-long-ballot-krizjohn-rosales_2018-10-17_22-58-47.jpg

Then, you put it in a machine that counts/reads the shaded circles. After it is read, they put ink on your finger to know that you voted = you won't vote again. There were some videos of women shading the ballots. Sometimes, the machines won't read the ballots. Or as many would say, how would you know what you shaded is what was counted. The memory card can also be tampered...like how would you know it is empty before the elections. During the counting, there was a lag = stop counting for a certain number of hours which people say could be when the votes are tampered.

For lower positions = lower than mayor for small districts, the voting is manual. Write the name of the candidates. The problems with manual is if you leave an empty space, someone will write a different candidate on it. They can even not count your vote if your writing is bad. When it was like that before nationally, the people carrying the ballot boxes to the capital are even shot dead and the boxes are stolen. Manual is a lot messier.

Anyway, there are protests though it is rarely reversed because of the time and money needed for it...and usually, it is election time again and your protest isn't resolved yet.

      - - -

Ah, both actually. In all transpo...private or public, cannot sit together. For the front seat, you have to put plastic sheet/barriers...hm...I'm not sure if this is followed through though, before, it was required.

Jeep...it is actually called a jeepney, like a mini bus from pre-WW2. It is the favorite public transpo of people with defined routes...cheap though a bit unsafe because there are no seat belts and the jeep isn't usually maintained well like thin tires, etc.

      It looks like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Jeepney_in_Legazpi_City.JPG
In the province, people would even sit on the roof. At times, cling on the back = standing up while the jeep is running = free ride.

The u-turns is a 'brilliant' idea in long main streets. You see, they removed the intersections with traffic lights - blocked the street to cross. So if you want to go to the other side of the street, you have to keep on going until you find a u-turn and go to the other side. The theory is, no traffic lights = smooth run of vehicles.

What's the correlation with the disease? Nothing, they are just experimenting to ease the traffic. They have been doing some trial and error for a long time = hey, we are working so we deserve our salary even if we are making a mess haha. Trial and error without even a simulation of what may happen. They just do it and when all hell breaks loose, they say, okay, that didn't work, let's try this one.

You know what is one of the stupidest suggestion, they want to mini minimize traffic by 'car branding coding' Let's say, on Monday, Toyota cars cannot go around. Tuesday it is Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Isuzu cars cannot go out, Wednesday Nissan, Ford, Foton, etc. Once, they even banned single occupant cars going through the main roads like the driver is the only one in the car. People complain, what if we drove our children to school = okay and I have to go back alone = not allowed.

      Delete
    22. Ya.

Well, they are usually talking and giving some relief goods, I guess. Some provinces hit still don't have electricity. The news anchor said, they were told that electricity is coming soon...and thankfully, it will be fixed before Christmas. I immediately thought, what is today, isn't it just November?

Anyway, they tend to like to appear as if they are doing something but it is really nothing. Proposing different new govt departments to address certain issues like the overseas workers, calamities...when we already have those under a different name. You'll know their priorities based on the budget. The one for next year, a huge amount is for the military against communist rebels while a smaller amount for health-vaccine related stuff when we are still in a pandemic.

Ya. Well, you know them politicians, they have all sorts of excuses. Oh, I have thought of a good one. Politicians who are still alive cannot name anything - public utilities/infrastructure under their name. There is this congressman who took a picture with people, holding a huge tarpaulin saying that this covid lab is in the building under his name during its inauguration. Can you guess what is his excuse? I didn't know that it is under my name even if I'm holding the tarpaulin...I didn't read it.

    23. Those are very weird ways to vote, if I may say so. And the electronic machines are very easily hacked, over here too.
      -
Man, that's bull**** and looks to me like dictator like mentality, wanting to control every single thing that won't even matter, as in private cars/transport.

I see, kinda looks like a mini bus of sorts.

I bet specialists and experts came up with that amazing idea, too. The stupidity I can't comment on the later stuff you told me. I was baffled, those are not possible by human standards, I mean, they shouldn't be.
      -
Why thankfully before christmas? Are they doing like Venezuela, that just anticipated the holyday and celebrated in october? When more than half of the population are starving and suffering from malnutrition they bought more than 3 million toys to ease the suffering?
      -
This congressman should be hanged naked in the street and whipped in the butt. As most of them, really. So, what did they came up with in the briefing and that clown monday speech?

      Delete
    24. Is that so...so how do you vote there? Is it touch screen and choose the candidates?

      - - -

Well, after all, they did want to put a barrier in between a married couple riding together on a motorcycle. Ah, did you know we also have a curfew. Before it is 10pm-5am, now it is 12am to 4am. Only ages 15 to 65 years old can go out...those not in that age range can do so if it is really necessary like work, buy food, etc.

Ah, they do allow it if it is a government sponsored thing like see and take picture on that fake white beach. No one is arrested when babies and seniors go there without mask/protection and social distancing.

      - - -

Hehe...well, the u-turn is doing okay until they decrease it because it is causing traffic when they moved the bus in the inner lane. Why did they do that? Because at the outer lane, people would just wave down a bus no matter where it is. Yes, we don't have that thing called bus stops. You just have to stand beside the road where the bus/jeepney passes and wave to it and it stops for you.

Why they would stop like that? Well, these drivers don't have a fixed salary. They are dependent on the number of passengers they get. So, we also have bus racing with each other to get the passengers waiting on the side of the road. Ya, it causes accident but they won't change the system. Why? Because the owners of those bus companies are politicians/generals, etc...they have more profit that way rather pay a fixed salary.

      - - -

Hehe, yes. It is a big thing here and it usually starts on -ber months which is September. Radios play Christmas carols, malls decorate their places, streets, etc.

That is new to me...toys instead of food. I guess because toys can be just a one-time thing while food is never ending and perishable. I do somewhat think it is similar here wherein poor people would borrow money for special occasions especially Christmas, festivals for saints and birthdays for gifts, parties, food, etc.

      - - -

Nothing much. During the briefing, it is this department will be doing this and that, we are ready and prepared this and that. During the monday speech, it is the usual ranting about problems like drugs, corruption, etc but I have great trust on those heads [I appointed = cannot remove them if I can get away with it], just wait for the vaccine, and curses those who criticize him.

Actually, it is repetitive, would go off tangent/incoherent that he would talk about things not related to what he is talking earlier, it is pretty much torture for sane people that we just wait for reporters to do a summary in bullet form.

The issue these days is a quarrel with the local Red Cross. The govt hasn't paid them for the testing so they refuse to do more testing until fully paid. That's 1.1B So, yay, our cases are lower now = fewer testing. Let's ease some more businesses like full body massages are now allowed, more people in internet cafes, etc.

Apparently, some hotels aren't paid either for becoming quarantine centers. That's 241M. Well, we also haven't paid the SEA games suppliers of 387M. Where's the money? Haha...I think we all know where. Ah, I remember the Olympics there...are those all paid by now?

      Delete
    25. Yea, not really touch screen as you press the numbers below, but you got it right. And again, easily hacked, too.
      -
How does that curfew make any sense? I don't understand.
      -
Oh? I didn't know. Was that ever good? No bus stops seems like a nice abstract idea, but we all know they almost never can be put into actual use and be any decent.

It used to be like that over here, no fixed/stable salary for drivers, either bus or subways/metros. I think it changed sometime ago but I'm not very sure as it's been a very long time since I last spoke to a friend of mine who was a bus driver. Truck drivers are still like that, tho.

The companies aren't exactly owned by politicians, but they all serve/have contracts with them and is pretty much the same as if the gov owned them.
      -
As soon as september starts? I heard of late october, and we'd call it premature already, ahaha.

That's why I can't really feel that bad for the most part of people. You starve the whole year just to splurge a little bit in a single occasion? I can't even attribute that to not knowing how to read or simply being ignorant. I just can't.
      -
Ha, I'd actually say that looks much more like torture than an actual speech. So he's still talks about drugs while being high himself and complains about corruption while he owns admins is on the most corrupt out there? Seems like nothing really changed and there's nothing new under the sun.

Are the schools open yet or not? I mean, if massages houses are...

No, of course not. We are still in debt and won't be out of for a very long time, I'd say forever. They just keep spending and spending and taxing the people more and more. They can take from people so they don't really see any reason to actual mind these debts, later they just say is to pay the bills of the country, but most politicians have a monthly of at the very least 15k, with almost 50k of 'bonus/gratification', the judiciary alone spends more than that in food only, I see what bills they are paying.

Ah, normal medication for people like, who has historically respiratory problems are very, very, very hard to come by now, mine own is almost out and I have no idea where to get it anymore. I guess when I die I'd be tagged for c19 to increase their justification of another and more sever lockdown.

      Delete
    26. Ah, I see. Hehe, more modern than ours. How is it hacked there? Through transmission, while voting or during counting? Ours seems to be more on counting...in the last elections, there is a 7 hour glitch iirc no votes are coming in or someone tampered with it.

      - - -

Ah, fewer people are out at night - no happy hour? Though, a lot are getting arrested for it aside from no mask. The bad part is there are a couple of cases about girls being arrested by the police and raped while in custody. One girl is brave enough/stupid? to report to the police about it. I think in a different station, well, I hope so. Anyway, on the way home, she asked for an escort and the policewoman refused her request. The girl ended up being murdered by hitmen though they are presumed to be the police.

For the passengers, it is good. After all, no need to walk a long way for the bus stop. The bus would chase after you and not the other way around. There are even callers or rather the conductors calling out that this bus is on the way this place, come ride. The bad is for drivers of other vehicles mostly private. When you are in a hurry and you tailed a bus, it would keep on stopping and getting as many passengers as it can on its route. Sometimes, they don't stay in one lane so that causes traffic.

I see. Truck drivers...that will be getting paid per trip?

Ah...about these contracts...is it about sharing profit?

      - - -

Yup. As soon as September starts, we do a countdown of how many days before it is Christmas. The countdown is usually done during prime time news.

      Ya, apparently.

      - - -

      Yup, you're spot on.

Yes, the schools are open but it is ALL online learning. No face-to-face. If the student has no internet, well, they give you modules/paper work to study. And, hopefully, your parents can teach them to you.

I heard stories that it can be quite stressful due to the bad internet or sharing of gadget if the family is poor. Perhaps, more stressful because of the pandemic. Like a teacher is asking a student, how come you are wearing a mask while we are in zoom. The student answers, it is because everyone in the house has covid. Or, the teacher asking how come a student was absent during the online lesson a few days. The student says it is because he is in the funeral burying a relative.

I have no idea...maybe someone up there needs massages ^^; We are just reassured, the masseurs are wearing masks...probably face shield too. The customer will wear a mask. We will disinfect the room after every use. Wash up the things that can be cleaned and throw away those that can't.

Ah, so it's the same here. I told you before that we have a state auditor. The discoveries of expenses can be wow like going for meetings in 5 star hotels, food costing millions, going abroad/trips, I think before some politician was caught charging the government for the private driver, groceries, maid, pet food, etc. As usual, we just talk about it for a while and no one gets punished.

Hm...is it because of the importation? Before, that also happened with my medicine. Almost all of the drugstores around my place have no stock. We called far away branches to buy it. Thank God that there are new stocks just before they totally ran out.

Ah, the lockdown is beneficial because there will be no protests? Here, that is the justification though they are hard pressed to open businesses due to bad economy.

I don't really know the details but I faced some that didn't show some candidates, really happened to me, others it seems to have fixed results, so even if you vote for someone else, it'd count to another. It really is a mess.
      -
Okay, that's weird in my eyes. Is that a long time culture thing?
      -
The only sensible thing I've seen so far is that modules/paper thing, but even so it is too little and doesn't really help that much, over here, not even that, by the way.

Those are bad situations, for sure. We don't hear many of that, but when the internet works, is always wonky, stuttering and freezing every time.

It wouldn't reassure me, that's for sure, ahaha.
      -
Yea, no one seems to really care. There was a recent mayor that employed a maid in his home, but she was listed in the prefecture debt. A lot of that happens everywhere.
      -
No, the company decided to stop fabricating it, giving the excuse of caring for the quality of the product and health of the patient. Funny, before that they said it was due for commercial reasons, now the medicine that has less collateral and costs much less has been stopped, but the one that costs more and are actually not advised for people like continues...
      -
Lockdown benefits very little, only the already filthy rich. Otherwise, it has no benefit whatsoever. For a very long time, the cases were spiked when everyone was locked. Let's also not forget the antifas and now the parties after trump have "lost".

    28. It's like an atm machine. How come there are so many numbers? To input an ID number?

      - -

Oh...seems deliberate if the candidate name doesn't show up because it is in the programming. By the way, is there no paper trail with that machine as to what you voted? Ours have a paper trail if you want a recount.

      - - -

Yes, it has always been like that. No designated stops. Though some malls made some...well, to stop at their malls. It is like passengers are 'king' and well, kind of lazy to walk? Though with tropical weather, I guess it can be understandable during summer. I do wonder if it is like that with our neighbors in Southeast Asia.

      - - -

True. Actually, here, it is made worse by errors so if the parents/guardian didn't spot them, well you know, too bad for the kid. There are a lot though that it is made fun in social media. like making the children match the colors name with the different colors of crayons and everything is in black and white. O is for ostrich but the picture is an owl. L is for rabbit.
Here's a good one, what kind of sound does the airplane make?
      a. weng-weng-weng b. eng-eng-eng c. wii-wii-wii d. pipip-pipip-pipip

True. Internet is pretty bad here and can be much worse when watching a video. How can you learn something if there are lags. And some teachers aren't considerate like a student asks to continue a quiz because he lost his wifi during the quiz. The teacher refused.

      - - -

Ha...so they are also doing it there. No punishment whatsoever, right?

      - - -

Oh, I see. So, they are forcing people to buy the more expensive and unsafe drug. Hm...are they getting rid of sick people?

      - - -

True. If it is lockdown and no testing. That is what happened here. They just lockdown and hope that it will go away without testing.

Interesting, so you think Trump has been cheated? Here, we are used to that. We don't have losers because they are always being cheated. Currently, we are comparing him with the son of the former dictator who ran for vp and lost. He keeps saying that he was cheated because at the start, he is leading that even media are interviewing him but in the morning, he lost.

That is because the province from far away transmission came later on where the current vp leads. So, he wants a recount. You have to pay a deposit for it. He has lots of stolen money so he can pay it. The current vp has to borrow money for it. Some people want to donate but the court says it is a no-no.

He has to choose 3 provinces that he wants to do a recount. He chose the places where the current vp leads. Even contested that partially shade circles should not be counted. After the recount, the current vp still wins and actually had more votes.

Now, the current tactic is they are trying to remove the people in charge of the recount who are not favorable to them. That probably means cannot be bribed/influenced/not appointed by their allies.

Anyway, while doing all that, they continue to harass and demean the current vp in social media. Belittle the things she does. Call her names...basically threatened by her existence. Of course, you know, since there are so many people who easily believe what's in social media, they believe all those stuff.

      - - -

By the way, I heard news that AoT will end this December. Well, the author planned to end it by then. So, what do you think?

Ah, remember the police general I told you who violated the lockdown and had a birthday party? Instead of being punished, he got promoted like most of the officials of this admin. <- caught in something, fired from that position then moved to a different position or even promoted. He is now the head of the police force. And, they say no promotion for overweight policemen. fufu..

  2. they could definitely top that since this is the first time they played the whole piece well, Indeed atsumu was just a little bit lost and natsu just needed to see playing with these people as worth it (since he did put in the effort), i think ichiei's weakness and strength is the fact that they all are playing to be professionals which is nice since they have the technique but bad since they all value their individual contribution to the song rather than the overall and i think their teacher did a great job balancing it out but for example this time milan is not the "center" of the piece and i doubt she will take it well, of course they must've done something well to win 5 years in a row but who know how it will go this year
I do hope for a few chapter for the third years and their part before we jump into the nationals because we really didn't see how they will express the emotions in their part i think this chapter was more about the 4 people part coming together into a song but the details for some of the individual parts is still missing in my opinion (besides what we have seen in the summer camp 20+ chapters ago)

    1. True, emmahoshi.

Yup, and would that actually benefit them? I think it is risky though if they manage to pull it off, they have leveled up.

Hm...usually, there are such chapters in between 'practice/purely music' chapters, right? Well, they still have to think of a theme/what they want to convey with the piece, right? So, perhaps, a few chapters on that with what you've mentioned.

    2. it is risky but i still think they could win with what they already achieved in the festival (maybe i didn't like it because i'm not into dark themes ) but it was definitely impressive of course if they will repeat the same song they should aim to give an impression and the only way is to play that song with a different theme this time (which i think they will achieve by switching parts' players) and that way even people who heard the festival song will be impressed by the different message conveyed by the same song = win, it is still a gamble because other schools could have something fresh and new and their stunt wouldn't matter but i guess there is also some sense of arrogance in them since they of course will win as every year (i think their teacher is the only humble one there the rest are absorbed in their achievements and their "rights" ) I think what i didn't like about ichie and milan specifically is that they think they have the right since they will be pro when in fact this is a school club and everyone have the right to win, indeed the theme for tokoise but i do still hope for something for the other 5 members since the focus recently was on the 4 people part
      thanks
