Free Talk: Kono Oto Tomare 95

Apparently, the teachers knew that Atsumu’s tone is a bit problematic but then, Suzuka already knew the answer and wanted them to realize it themselves rather than telling them. That is actually better since it is Natsu himself who volunteered and decided to do it.

From what Chika mentioned, it is like thinking out of the box. Rather than thinking of how to resolve the issue wherein they cannot change a certain aspect because of circumstances, they think of changing other possible aspect/s. What was thought to be a defect can actually become an asset when reinforced with another thing.

:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:

Hehe, Natsu wanted his contribution to be low-keyed yet appreciated but unfortunately for him, everyone already knew about it. I think this will make everyone know this side of him more and like him more compared before. Everyone is touched by what he did and was amazed over this possible resolution to the problem.

From the last part, apparently, that and what Natsu told Atsumu had tremendously improved their playing of the piece. So, ah, what is left is resolving the theme/what they want to convey with the piece, right? Anyway, I guess they will be pretty much ready just in time for the Nationals.

  1. yeah natsu really surprised me because A) I never thought about changing atsumu's surrounding and b) I never thought him to volunteer to change since he really seems to hate things that are too troubling or take effort so indeed everyone (at least the ones outside the 3 people he plays with regular nowadays) did have a major change of their opinion about natsu. Suzuka is quite annoying (in a good way) he knows the answer yet he wants them to reach it themselves XD indeed now it seems that they can wrap things before the nationals, hahaha kouta couldn't keep his mouth shut i think its better that they knew about it since i doubt natsu would've said anythin himself. it is a great character development for the 1 years and chika and kouta and mitchi the last 10 chapters now i hope to see some focus on the third years since its their last time playing and i'm not sure how their part is
    thanks

    1. Yup, emmahoshi ^-^

Hehe, true. Hm...isn't Suzuka kind of a sadist-type? But ya, in a good way.

      True ^^

  2. Thanks Kat, always appreciate your work, just read the chapter recently and was like, man, this Suzuka guy. What a pain it'd be to deal with someone like him, hahaha. I also think that everything's going to well for them so I can't shake the feeling of something bad and big is waiting ahead. T_T

I could not like nor post for sometime, is it something on my end? Once again, thank you.
    -
    I see, I see.

Thought so, that's why I didn't even mentioned china, hard to imagine it'd take "that long"
    -
Yea, maybe, but I'm not really eager for it, honestly speaking. It's just, uuh, can't even explain, haha.
    -
Well, at least that, but are they really monitoring that? Or just saying for w/e?
    -
It is like you said, most of the time we have to suffer without a say, and even if one were to, there are tons of stupid militants that'd shut them up regardless. One of the ideas was to increase the available vitamins such as D, K and Zinco, which are all good against any kind of virus and work as prevention, other was to expand and improve the basic public sanitation, focusing on the most impoverished areas, all of them were rejected by the congress and judiciary and I have no idea why, outside the norm of let the people suffer, so they'll need the very basic minimum and will vote for them still, for some reason.

    1. You're welcome, Fê ^-^ Yup. I'm not sure about something bad...the big is definitely the Nationals. Most likely coming in a few chapters.

It was the same on my end. It is doing an error and I was asked to clear my browser cache. So far, it is okay now. Haha...I'll know for sure when I click the 'publish' button. ^^

      - - -

I'm not sure they are monitoring it but perhaps, when caught by the traffic aide if there are more passengers than there should be. Before, there are some buses who were caught. The passengers are bending down in order not to get caught.

      - - -

Those are good ideas...hm, maybe they don't want money going out of their pockets? If it is approved, is there an audit strict enough to check if the money went there? Here, we have an audit but they are mostly ignored. The president even suggested to push the auditors down the stairs for doing their jobs.

Anyway, it was Monday yesterday. It is the usual time when the president gives a speech and perhaps, proof of life and even more perhaps, some kind of proof that he is doing something. This time, he is ranting about the vp for criticizing the pandemic response. He retorted, there are enough beds now, hospitals and funeral parlors...what are you complaining about? And, he had a new suggestion aside from waiting for the vaccine, let's spray pesticide throughout the country to kill the virus.

Anyway, remember the 'white sand' the dumped on the capital's bay? This weekend, they wanted to show it off to the public to shut up critics. So, this weekend, a very huge amount of people went there with no care for social distancing. Some don't even wear masks or rather, pulled it down their chins. Seniors and even babies went there even if it is suppose to be forbidden = cannot go out if it isn't essential travel.

So, where are the eager police? Doing nothing but let those people be. They don't arrest anyone if it is related to the government. And, well, we can only shrug and hope that the cases won't go up again. After all, the capital is the place where most cases are located. Who is to blame? The govt that allowed it, the people who went or both?

And, remember I told you about term sharing? Well, it is almost time's up for the current speaker but he won't let go of the position. His men also won't let go by saying, hey, only the speaker position can change but not the committee chairs, etc. So, this is also brought up because they are quarreling during the budget hearing. As usual, they are fighting over the people's money for themselves.

    2. There's also Chika's dad/family situation, right?

I did the same as seems to have worked, but I always clean the cache and all.
      -
That's a sad and funny situation, imagine having to bend down so you can go to work without any hassle... Oh man, these 'leaders' of ours, I tell you...
      -
There should be, I mean, there was some transparency initiatives after billions were stolen, but you really think that'd stop anyone? There's even a new name for what these politicians are doing, it's called covidão - it means big covid - they are stealing from the money that should have gone for aiding against the fight and for the prevention, and a lot of people already got caught. Sure, the big names are all free still.
      -
Didn't he already "suggest" that pesticide thing? This man should really be put out of there, he's only doing disservices towards anyone, aside from the people that back him up so they can live comfortably, that is.
      -
Both, obviously. We had some similar things happening here, it was/is very hot and getting hotter over here, so all the beaches and touristic places were all full of people, and do you thing anyone'd bother with masks and distances at such situations? Course not, but they don't want to reopen schools, tho they did reopen gyms...
      -
Same old, same old, again and again, uh? Wasn't there an article preventing that from happening when their time was done?

      Delete
    3. True, but I don't think it will be tackled anytime soon.

I see. I seldom do it since I tend to leave sites with passwords open because I'm lazy to re-type it each time. Oh, I think it has something to do with their change in editing layout. I actually hate it since I couldn't easily copy and paste summaries. It ruins the format. Haha, I do that because online typing can 'disappear' due to glitches.

      - - -

      True.

      - - -

Hehe, at least you got a name for it. And, yes, that's right. it isn't stopping them. Lately, our ombudsman - kind of a watchdog for government officials against crime esp on graft and corruption say that there is no need for lifestyle checks because people have different priorities. Say, you earn 50,000 a month and live in a small house but have a BMV car on zero interest installment...that's their business. The cheapest BMV here is 2 million.

And, who cares about declaration of statement of asset and liabilities, that doesn't help much in catching who is corrupt or not. Well, as usual, they are exempted except for the opposition. The president stopped showing his a couple years now. And they would even dare say these is nothing to be afraid of if you have nothing to hide.

      - - -

Nope, it is a new one. When Covid is starting to spread, he has he'll slap it. And, the usual, during summer it will die. Then, well, disinfect the mask with gasoline.

That's true and they are currently in power. One ally even suggested that we postpone the elections because of covid. When is the elections, May 2022. Well, it isn't surprising because usually there are such talks about extension of term when it is time for the presidential elections.

      - - -

Ah, same same. In Oct, they want to reopen beach resorts though I'm not sure people would go there from faraway and they want a swab test first. That costs around a week's salary for a minimum wage earner. For me, it is too much of a hassle. And, they might want people to wear masks and face shields...to the beach...and in the water?

Oh, speaking of that, they are now putting sand bags around the fake white beach because it is being washed away by the tide and heavy rain. During its transportation, some of it seems to have fallen in the water and damaged corals. So the fishfolk in that province are complaining that it killed/drove away the fishes. Now, they are going to study the environment impact of the dolomite mining. Lol. Oh well, they probably already got their kickbacks.

Schools are mostly online learning. There seems to be a lot of hardships there based on what I read. Like a teacher asking, hey, we are online, how come you are wearing a mask. The student replied, ah, it is because everyone in my house has covid. A student asking for a retest because his internet connection suddenly went down but the teacher doesn't want to. Some students quitting. Teachers want to quit but can't. Ah, internet connection here is bad. On TV, there is even a feature of a father making a tree house for his daughter because there is internet signal up the tree.

That is just for the private schools. Public school will start on Oct 5. There ought to be more complaints when that happens since a lot of private schools had closed due to the pandemic.

      - - -

Yup. As far as I know, there's none. Actually, term sharing is kind of 'illegal' because usually, to be speaker, it is through voting. It is like saying, no more voting, after me, it will be you. So, the other one is invoking a lot of 'gentleman's agreement' stuff. Apparently, the current one is wiser/more sly since he wanted to be first because you know the first one tends not to give way. <- some people theorized at that time and it is happening. Haha, well, it shouldn't be surprising since most of them are backstabbers especially if it is for personal benefit.

    4. Really? I was thinking that it might coincide with the nationals, for drama sake, of course.
      -
Tell me about it, the amount of times I lost and had to re wright everything is countless, because of that I started to copy before sending as I got tired of that, haha.
      -
Lifestyle check? Is that a thing? Legal?

Well, it is true that if you don't fear you don't need to hide. My only peeve at that is people who just want to reign over and dictate w/e by illegal ways. My example, I don't have anything to hide, it doesn't mean that anything I do is for everyone to see. Get it?
      -
If I'm going to the beach, the only thing I'm wearing is my trunks. And like I said, mask, more so these homemade ones, help nothing but look like you're complying and that's it.

They have to know that was a very bad idea from the beginning, tho I won't doubt if they actually didn't.

Yea, the internet services around is bad, too. And much worse in poorer regions, obviously. So when they talk about online classes I think how, when I was active, most my students didn't even have a cellphone of their own, let alone internet at home. The way they're doing things are just to say, hey, at least we're trying, but these 'tries' are awfully flawed and should really be revised and not taken as anything, but then again, the normal was pretty bad, too so it might not even affect anything, we were doomed from the beginning.
      -
Ah, so that's illegal in any form and way. I thought that it was something that, despite my grievances, it was on the constitution or somethings so it was legal by it. Again, it was bound to happen, and surely they'd spend public money to resolve it, right?

    5. Oh, I see. If ever, I'm somewhat hoping for a love confession of the senpai-s after the Nationals. 😅

      - - -

Ya. It's too annoying. I guess the worst is brownout/blackout and forgot to save after a long type.

      - - -

Yup. It is in the constitution. It is to check corrupt officials...well, one way of doing it especially if you have this small amount of salary but can afford a lot of luxury things. You know these people, they tend to love to show off. One time there was a lowly customs officer who was caught because of speeding...in a brand new Ferrari sports car. How did he afford it? Well, you know customs...bribe...connect the dots.

True. That is the excuse they are using. Of course, ideally, they want the officials/politicians/public servants to be transparent = to make sure they aren't living beyond their means. Like, we can compare how much millions they suddenly earn year after year while in office. Some become really rich. Nothing much is done about it, it is like fyi only type of data.

      - - -

Well, I think it helps a bit rather than being barefaced. =P Like droplets would be somewhat stopped by the cloth...a part of it.

They should but I guess they love doing such useless things for kickbacks. Like, destroying a perfectly fine road and repaving it. Using that black hot sand thing to patch holes which gets destroyed every typhoon season. In our city, 4 mayors have destroyed and made new street lamp lights in the park = tourist place. So, whenever a new mayor is elected, they destroy the streets lights the other mayor made and put up 'his own style' of street lights. 🙄

Ah, yes. That's right, no cellphones either. There are a lot of 'begging' for money in our social accounts for that. I heard that there are even some thefts. Speaking of thefts, did you know that we have a high rise of plant thefts lately. A lot of people in lockdown are suddenly into gardening. I heard stories of plants stolen from parks and forests. The funny one I heard is their neighbor kept on asking for cuttings from their plant. It turns out that the neighbor is selling the cuttings online.

      - - -

Yes. They give money around so that they won't complain. The speaker holds the 'purse' of congress budget that they can use for their districts' projects. If you are the opposition/enemy, they give you little = your people would think that you are not doing anything for them = they do not vote for you again.

Remember the corrupt woman president I told you. She was also infamous for bribing those congressmen with money in brown bags so that she won't be impeached. It worked. She even bribed priests so that they won't speak against her.

Oh ya, about our talk about stealing big, I remember that it is said that you steal big so that you can hire the best lawyer <- share some money with him/her to get away from your crime. We have that kind of lawyer here. He was the dictator's lawyer and people say he is good. He always wins the case though I think it is also through connections.

I heard that most lawyers belong to frats so that when you are in practice, you'll have connections and you can pull some strings in some cases. They tried to stop that practice of having frats because some students have died from hazing. So, like the president, he got some of his frat brothers in government positions.

      - - -

By the way, I read that AoT final anime season will be shown on Dec. So, the series is really going to wrap up soon? And you say it is still a mess? 😅

      Delete
    6. That'd be nice, HiroxTaka have to get a move on before they actually do, haha.
      -
That is weird, I don't know if I can actually understand this time around, haha.

Oh, that's what I call the data over here, too, fyi only and nothing more.
      -
It won't stop virus but yea, it can stop other things, that's for sure.

See, that's another thing that gets me, if something is working right, then move to one that isn't and fix that instead. And they only destroy and rebuild almost useless stuff anyway.

That's a very weird thing to steal.
      -
I see, over here there are also these frats, but people treat more like conspiracy theory, but it is very, very real.
      -
Oh, the anime'll be out so soon? I mean, I don't really see how things can finish up in three/four more chapters, but I sure am wrong, then. Unless the manga goes around feb, and the anime around that, too.

      Delete
    7. Yup. Like make new streets/roads etc to provinces but no, they want to just destroy things that are already there to make the impression that they are doing something.

Apparently, plants can fetch a high price if marketed well to people who don't know the real price of plants. And, well, if it is planted in a nice pot. Well, I guess it is a big enough issue to be written in the news.

Anyway, since a lot of people still doesn't work, I guess it is understandable to try to sell anything that can be sold. There is a FB group wherein people barter things like chair, table for food. And, the government hinted on taxing that. How? I have no idea.

They are looking for money. Even suggesting to users of electric scooters need to have a license and well, bicycles, too. Online selling and service like Netflix are taxed recently during the pandemic. They are also planning to increase the value added tax from 12 to 14%.

We are still in a semi-lockdown. It is 6 months already and going on 7th next month. Cases are still in 1-2k. Total has breached 300k. People are joking that we are going for top 20 in the world. You see, people love to be number 1.

Oh ya, the president is currently threatening to remove FB from our country because his pro-admin sites with fake news were shut down by FB. Some sites are run from China aside from our police and military. It is unlikely though because it is because of FB, many are crazy over him due to propaganda and fake news including fiction characters from foreign TV shows praising the president. And, people believe that.

The one post is amusing is praising some bridge being built until Kosovo people replied to the post that it is their bridge not in our country.

      - - -

Yup. So there are also frats there? Are they that powerful like here? Frats are important connections when you graduate...well, at least for lawyers or politicians.

      - - -

Yes. Dec 7th. Hehe, unless it is a different ending. I'm thinking that perhaps, the manga will end while the anime is showing.

The trailer is out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_OauHnAFc8

      Delete
    8. They are the same everywhere, uh? I remember a very recent mayor here that only repainted the road and changed to a two to three lines so afterwards he was claiming to have built and enlarged that road...

I don't think it's something to be brushed over, but I highly doubt there isn't much more important news to be reported/covered.
      -
There was talk over here of licensing scooters, too. The insanity... Netflix almost got taxed, too. And what that money is going to be used for? Their pockets, right?
      -
wow, fake characters? Like what I'm thinking? They just put something that doesn't exist and publish? That is insanity.
      -
yes, very much. You'll barely see any big lawyer or big time politician not belonging in one. BTW, all of them are free masons.
      -
It looks really cool, but I can't shake the feeling that it's gonna be a mess, at least the manga.

      Delete
    9. Lol...that's interesting but I guess it would be a tighter fit for the vehicles?

Well, it is enough for people to start joking if the government plans to tax plant, and maybe want licenses in selling plants including inspecting where the plants are kept among other things.

      - - -

Oh...they're looking for money there, too. Most likely in their pockets. Like, right now, our compulsory health insurance money was stolen that the govt company will either have to be privatize or go bankrupt in a couple of years. Instead of jailing the culprits or at least return the money, they plan on selling the country's foreign land assets to pay for the stolen money.

This is one major scandal that was covered up with that fake white sand. By the way, we have La Nina starting this Oct to March. So, all that sand will be washed away soon. Right now, the congressmen are still fighting it out as to who'll be speaker of the house. I think one amusing excuse was, 'I want to be speaker on my birthday'. Lol...though in reality, they are quarreling over the money because they are deliberating over the budget.

      - - -

Yup. And I guess it is amazing that people would believe those.

      - - -

Ah, I hear that here, too. Freemasons... though I thought they are some religious group. 😅

      - - -

Ya. Hehe, I see...well, if the manga ends earlier and depending on readers' reaction, maybe they can change it.

      Delete
    10. It is very, very tight. It also raised the traffic accidents, but of course, they don't say that.

Tax, obviously, yea. But is there like a plant house or something that sells them normally?
      -
Wow. I'd ask why, but we all already know why. So how does the health insurance work there? Is it any good at all?

They're not embarrassed at all, right? Not even trying to hide...
      -
They definitely have huge ties/connections to most, if not all religions, but they have their own beliefs, in secret, of course. Can't let people know they're worshiping a devil.
      -
Yea, it's just that I can't really see ending so soon. At least, not in less than 5 chapters/months.

      Delete
    11. Hehe, but of course.

No plant house, but it is usually on the streets or certain places = small stalls with lots of plants. It is like they got them from provinces and they just put them in the stalls. Like this:
      https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/05/ba/63/63/quezon-memorial-circle.jpg

It isn't taxed except if you buy in supermarkets.

      - -

It is okay...better than nothing? It is mostly just discounts for hospitalizations or lump sum depending on your illness.

      - - -

Lol...embarrass is not in their vocabulary. The thing is, even if they are like that, they get elected again. Well, if the scandal is big, perhaps, lay low for a while and then later on, people forget and they win again. Cycle continues.

      - - -

I see...I get that kind of impression.

      - - -

Lol, maybe in the end, the author would just kill them all like a bomb dropped and destroyed everything...then re-start with a few people/couple.

      Delete
    12. Uhm, I see, there are very similar stalls over here, but we also have entire places/fairs that only sell plants, flowers and the likes. Very much so like a plant supermarket, if you will. They are obviously taxed, but less than normal supermarkets.
      -
Well, I'd say that better than nothing is at least that, over here is not. I mean, I'm +5y waiting for my surgery and I still have to pay for exams and w/e else because if I were to way for them I wouldn't even be able to get my sick leave...
      -
Thought so, it's exactly the same around here. Almost unbelievable.
      -
Hahaha, funny you say that, that was the impression I got reading the last chapter and I thought, well, maybe now he can actually finish the story before the anime ends, haha.

      Delete
    13. Ah, when I say supermarket, it is a normal supermarket that has a small stall/stand that sells plants. We don't have plant supermarkets.

      - - -

No discounts? Hm...do they believe in miracles expecting someone to be 'cured' when the required treatment isn't done that they have to repeatedly ask for exams/proofs? Ah wait, are the labs/hospital accredited by the govt? Like, you have to go to specific ones?

That is one kind of modus here...though more on renewal of driver's license or car. You have to go to their designated labs/people to check your urine = drug test, eye check, smoke belching, etc. Those labs are at times owned by relatives/friends/connections of govt people.

      - - -

      Haha, is that so.
