Blue Glass [Chapter 32]

The prison guard calls out to a man and asks where the soldiers went. The man says that the master said to dispatch them to the First Prince’s residence. The guard exclaims that this is really bad. “All of those actors have run off! *Man exclaims what?!* Where did the chief go?” The man nervously says that he doesn’t know.

Meanwhile, Jamalta continues to spy on Cheongye and Eyepatch. Cheongye quietly watches Eyepatch having a coughing fit again. Wiping his mouth, Eyepatch says that since she is already quite well aware then he can be at ease.

“Good, let me tell you everything. From the start, I thought that it is okay if I just get rid of the king and his clan. But, I immediately realized that this is simply far from being okay. Their poison has spread all over the place that it caused the whole country to become poisoned. You also know that from generation to generation, our clan sell medicines.”

“If the poison isn’t uprooted, it will once again cause an outbreak. So, I’m saying that the thing that should be eliminated isn’t just the royal family. Rather, all of Nakrang that has been thoroughly poisoned. At one side, I’m preparing while on the other side, I’m waiting for an opportunity...

Some crows fly. The clouds rumble. Saga looks at the dark looming clouds. She looks glum when a soldier tells her to quickly come since they’ll be at the residence soon. Saga tightly hugs herself as she remembers all the poor people looking at her. She thinks that it is so gloomy.

“I always thought that coming to the village, I’ll find out about the current situation and I’ll definitely find a way to rescue Mino. But, on contrary, it hurts so much that I couldn’t breathe.” She lowers her head upon remembering Mino reprimanding her that she basically doesn’t know anything.

She snaps out of it when a child calls out to her. [The one whom she gave her hair to] “Thank you, priestess. The representative has decided to check on father’s ailment. It’s all thanks to you, priestess. *smiles* Thank you for listening to my request.”

Flustered Saga recalls Mino’s smile which causes her to slightly smile. She thinks, “Yes, right now no matter how paintful it is again, I also cannot cower away. I have to help these people and also save Mino.” She recalls MuRyur telling her that Mino hates her.

Recalling Mino’s smile, Saga thinks, “No. Juryu, you actually don’t know what kind of expression Mino has when he looks at me. You have never seen it. Even if there are so many things that he didn’t tell me but that expression is definitely not a lie...

Elsewhere, Mino and CV boy look from the side of a house. They see a lot of soldiers around. CV boy says that it is very strange. “How come there are so many soldiers? If we don’t want to be found out, we can only wait until nightfall before making a move.”

One of the soldier calls out to another and asks where he has gone to since he hasn’t seen him the whole day. The other solider says wasn’t there a cliff bridge on that mountain ahead. “The bridge rope is already rotten so I have just finished fixing it. I have to finish it before it rains hard. By the way, are you finished replacing the stolen offerings?”

The soldier tells him not to mention it. “It is the First Prince’s order. We cannot object but if this keeps up, the funeral cannot proceed.” The other soldier asks how come they are all gathered here. The soldier says that the chief wants them to go to the prince’s residence.

CV boy nervously says if what they say is true— Mino says yes, this place is probably the First prince’s residence. CV boy asks how come Mino is locked up in this place. Mino says compared to that— He thinks that the offerings were stolen so what are those things inside the warehouse.

“Those things definitely came from the palace and it’s quite a lot... Also, as a custom in a noble’s funeral, they’ll give the people favors for them to give the dead a send-off. [<- like in Nan’s funeral] But, using the pretext that the offerings were stolen, won’t that pile up a lot of complaints?”

Mino realizes something. He mutters, it turns out to be deliberate. CV boy asks what. Mino says that it looks like that they have to return to the warehouse since they have something to do. And, they quickly leave.

Somewhere else, Mokmok and others are in disbelief. “What do you mean? You said that Yuri had become a priestess and then she has gone where?” Rabbit [Two front teeth] says she is in the First prince’s residence and she looks quite uneasy. Mokmok asks what is he saying, wasn’t he locked up in prison with them just now...

Rabbit says that he wasn’t caught and he escaped earlier on. Mokmok and others look shock as Rabbit thinks that it turns out that they didn’t know that he isn’t around. Twin ponytails protests that it wasn’t easy for them to run away.

Twin loops says that if they were caught again, they’ll simply go towards the road to ruin. Mokmok shouts for them not to be so talkative. “If you want to help then just go help!” Twin loops asks how can they help. Rabbit says that it would be okay if they go with the people.

“Actually, everyone is very angry because of the offerings issue. Go and convince the people and then, get everyone to go together. *sparkle* Do you know that perhaps, this time around is an opportunity for us to retaliate for the hardships those people caused us.”

This made Mokmok and others sparkle. Mokmok says, “It just so happen that we can take advantage of the people who are currently quite confused and uneasy for us to go and have our revenge on them~”

Rabbit thinks that it can be considered a kind of talent for them to be so simple-minded up to this degree. He removes his fake front teeth and turns to MuRyur. Removing his hat, Rabbit says, “You will, right, Prince?” MuRyur slightly smiles. In tears, Rabbit is quite happy. “So beautiful... *hugs MuRyur* Ah- Prince! MuRyur thinks, “Princess and also White Child. Can you properly grasp this opportunity?”

Mino and CV boy go back into the warehouse through the roof. While Mino is running about, CV boy is on top of some huge baggage. He thinks that even if he always does things in accordance to what Mino told him but he basically doesn’t understand what Mino is up to. “But then, he’s so amazing since he does things so fast.”

Mino asks CV boy if he is done. CV boy says yes, he is going down now. While he is going down, the baggage moved causing him to lose balance and fall down. Mino calls out to CV if he is alright. Holding his head, CV boy says that he is okay. He apologizes for making such a loud noise.

Mino looks surprised and mutters, for real... He takes a small carved knife from the floor. Looking at it, he mutters, blue... In the meantime, Saga has arrived at her brother’s residence. All the soldiers are very busy. She suddenly remembered the past.

Choedal shouting that it is because of a charming woman unexpectedly letting go of a spy! [? Most likely blaming Saga that Choechi’s murderer escaped.] “Useless thing! I don’t want to see you! I’ll have you locked up!” 

Choegeum asking Saga if she knew why Nan died and does Saga want to become like her? “Beautiful older sister has become more and more beautiful.” And, she recalls wondering why she is hated. “Why are you bullying me? I basically don’t know the reason... Let me out of this place, I beg of you!”

Pained Saga thinks that if she gets caught in this place, perhaps, she’ll be sent back to the palace again. She clenches her trembling fist and thinks, “But... But if I run away from here--” She tightly holds her arm. She looks determined and heads inside.

Meanwhile, Choedal asks what’s going on. “How come it is so noisy?” An attendant explains that the village’s official is apprehensive about the robbery and the funeral issue so all of the soldiers have come and gathered in his residence. Choedal asks, “What, does he think that I’ll be scared because of this kind of thing?”

The attendant tries to protest but Choedal exclaims, that’s enough! “It’s so noisy that I cannot mentally concentrate, quickly make them lea...” He looks surprised and points among the people and says, “That...that is...?”

The attendant is puzzled. Choedal starts to walk forward and becomes even more surprised. Saga notices her brother who stammers, “How... How... How come you’re here?!!”

Comment: So, Dagong’s son was murdered. I’m not sure how they are planning on destroying the whole country but in some way, like in most cases, they aren’t exactly better than whom they hate if they are going to involve innocent people in their revenge.

Somehow, I wonder if Cheongye is playing along with her uncle but not necessarily going to do what he says. Something like, just to make him talk. Apparently, Hongmun is a spy-type group that pretends to be doctors. Most likely for hire. So, I guess MuRyur is part of that group. And like Eyepatch, he uses it for his own purpose which is to gain recognition from his father.

Apparently, Cheongye didn’t expect Saga and her group to be there. Well, she was sending them off somewhere. I guess she ought to be rattled a bit because if Saga is still alive, that means Mino is most likely around, too. Her plan to get rid of Saga has failed. I’m curious though how she would react if she knew how he made use of Mino.

Since Jamalta has heard of their plot, perhaps, he can in some way stop it. Saga is feeling helpless and frustrated after finding out what the outside world is really like. And, thanks and thinking of Mino’s smile gave her hope to move on.

But then, she ought to be heartbroken if what MuRyur was telling her about Mino is true. Mino is indeed quite clever to immediately realize what’s going on. No wonder they are saying about the funeral becoming a failure.

The people who were robbed will definitely not want to give a good farewell send off to the one who caused it. Choedal is actually oblivious about it. Well, Mino found his ‘blue’ and it is in the form of that knife. I think it belongs to Choedal. Saga mentioned it to Mino before when she was telling him about the legend.

Anyway, Saga steeled herself even if she is scared and everything. And, it was her brother who’ll go to her. He seems to be easily rattled. I guess he would think that something is up for someone who shouldn’t be there. Scans by 水神汉化组
