By Request: Blue (CHIBA Kozue) [Chapter 47]

[Free Talk: This is the last chapter of the series, requested by Fieyna. This one is very easy to do like the other requests so I obliged. Ah, I only found the name of the lead of the series. ^^; I didn’t read this series so there might be some parts that are wrong. Thya, your Dame na watashi ni koishite kudasai 28 request turned out to be very long and all conversations. ^^; I’ll have to find a lot of free time to do that. For now, I cannot promise anything.

Regarding requests, currently, I can only take one chapter at a time, and I’m not committing to a whole series. Easy ones and those that I have read/browsed have a higher chance of being summarized. I think I can accommodate 1-2 request chapters per week. Currently, I have two more Kono Oto Tomare chapters to do which I’m doing once a week so that should be updated by the end of the month. A new Chinese group is working on From Five to Nine and currently, two new chapters are out. I’ll probably do that after I’m done with KoT. So, when I’ve finished updating the pending ones and when Kobayashi ends, I think I’ll have more time for requests. And, don’t ask me to summarize a chapter that isn’t out in Chinese yet. I cannot read Japanese. Thank you for your understanding ^^]

Running Mimi is thinking that right now, she wants to see the guy. Would he listen to what she’ll say and would he accept her current feelings. She goes to his house and was told that he went out just now so he might be at the pier. She thinks that it is rest day from fishing today so she thought he’ll be at home. She goes from one place to another but she couldn’t find him. She looks at a shrine and thinks that it is like heaven is deliberately teasing her to make her unable to see him. Then, she notices a cat with a ribbon + bell on its tail. She couldn’t believe it for it is a blue cat. She follows it. She thinks that at that day when she saw the blue cat, she only vaguely wished, ‘I want to be happy’ but right now, she knows..what is the happiness that she wants. And, she sees the guy on top of a tree. The guy is surprised for how come she is still in the island and wasn’t she in Tokyo. Looking flustered, she tearfully confesses that she likes him. She asks him to please start all over again with her. This surprises the guy. She apologizes for saying that they break up but it is because she is too weak and afraid that he’ll hate her so she left him. But after losing him, she became aware..she..she..

Mimi is surprised when the guy says that he is very angry for she is always making him run around in circles. He already said that he likes her and didn’t he say that he’ll always wait for her but she always put him at one side. Mimi is flustered. He smiles and says but then, it is alright. He smiles and hugs her. He says that he is very happy and blessed for he finally got her. Mimi starts crying. And, the bell on the cat’s tail rings. By the beach, the guy [I think] asks why they are going to have a wedding ceremony here. Mimi says that it is nothing and just do it once. This time, she’ll give him a ring to wear and she’ll promise him that whether in sickness or in health, she’ll cherish him and she vows to love him forever. The guy is moved by that. She says that she knows that ‘her happiness’ in enveloped by the blue sea and sky, the place where he is. He asks her if right now, she is happy. She smiles and says yes. Then, it is spring and someone shouts that they’ve graduated. Walking at the hallway, Mimi and friends are talking about saying goodbye to this school and three years are exceptionally short. They are lonely since they are going separate ways.

Someone asks about the other girl’s foot, if it is healed and would she stay at the island. She says that the other guy is going to study college in Tokyo and she is also going to study environmental science in Tokyo for two years. Mimi’s boyfriend exclaims that it wasn’t easy for them to love each other yet they are going to have a long distance romance. This way, their lovey-dovey tale cannot start. The other guy says that he is already mistaken for even if it is long distance love, they can still get along [/talk] whereas he and the other girl only have jilted painful memories. This surprises Mimi and her boyfriend that they became gloomy. The other girl tells them that those memories are not bad for she is also happy from the time when Mimi returned to the island. Whether it is crying, smiling or being jilted, each day is brilliant. She is really very happy that the four of them can be together. Mimi thinks that there will be a day when they become adults, and step forward in each other’s paths. She says that it would be great if they can return to the island at any time and they’ll happily smile at each other with all of them together. Everyone smiles. There’s an image of the four running when they were young.

And, in the guy’s residence with Mimi and two children, Mimi calls out for the children to be good and listen to her. Mimi tells the other girl that the house is noisy because of the twins. The other girl praises her over the amazing spread of dishes and says that no wonder she’s a housewife. Mimi laughs and says that everyone is coming so she is particularly enthusiastic. Mimi praises the other girl about her restaurant [/hotel] opening next year. The other girl says that it has been her dream since she was young to open one at the island. She says that compared to her, the other guy became amazing for he became a lawyer in Tokyo. The two muses that’s so cool. Mimi says that her husband is not doing anything during Sundays, and is that okay. Her husband shouts that he can hear her. He complains that Mimi is always talking about the other guy. Mimi says that the other guy is indeed very cool. Carrying the kids, her husband shouts in disbelief. The other girl tells them not to quarrel for it has been 10 years since they’ve separated and the other guy is coming to the island today. Ding dong. Mimi and others go to the door to greet the other guy. They all smile and welcome the other guy returning home.
