During cleaning duty, Ryou calls
out to Keita. Seeing Ryou’s glum face, Keita asks what’s up with that scary
expression. He tells Ryou that he is currently throwing away the trash. Ryou
accuses Keita of doing something to Himari which Keita denies. Since Ryou is
suspiciously looking at him, Keita tells him that he already moved out of the
house and he’s currently living at his mother’s place. Keita even tells Ryou
that that he consulted it with his father and that girl and they agreed to it.
While Ryou is surprised, Keita says that is all there is to it and as he said,
he didn’t any other thing [to her]. After Keita left, Ryou realizes why Himari
has that kind of expression. In section 1-2, the teacher points at the
blackboard and tells them that what is discussed today will be in the term exam
so they properly review it. Himari gloomily thinks that finally today is over.
She wonders what to do for she totally couldn’t concentrate in listening to the
lecture and today seems quite long. She is surprised when Ryou asks her if she
is free after school. She is puzzled for things have always been awkward between
them since the cultural festival.
A couple of girls tell Himari that
they’ve decided to hang out with Ryou and the soccer club members. They urge
her to come along with them. Himari thinks that Ryou is talking him her
normally like usual. After Himari agrees to go, she thinks that it is quite
hard to act as if nothing had happened and go ‘back to usual’. She wonders how
she can do it. Soon, Himari and others are having fun at a game center. A guy
tries to impress Himari at the UFO doll catcher but it was Ryou who got the
teddy bear for Himari. Himari perks up upon getting the doll and Ryou looks
happy for her. Then, they bid each other goodbye and separate ways. Himari
tells Ryou that they walk together until they have to part ways. Ryou asks her
if she is feeling a bit better. This surprises Himari. Ryou says that it is
because lately, her face always looks depressed. She mutters if everything
today is for her. She realizes that everyone is worried about her. Hugging the
teddy bear tightly, she thinks that if she always stay depressed like this, it
will only make everyone worried and Keita has already.. She recalls the fangirl
clinging on Keita.
Himari thanks him for worrying
about her. She assures him that she is already okay. This made Ryou smile. He
tells her that no matter what it is, she can tell him about it. Himari thinks
that even if Ryou said that so warmly, she cannot depend on him for she must
strive hard by herself. And, Himari starts working again at the Margaret
restaurant. She gives her greetings ‘I’ll be under your care’ [/yoroshiku] and
her friend happily greets her back. Himari thinks that after the cultural festival,
she has lots of idle time and definitely, it will make her think too much [/her
imagination go wild]. So, right now, she’ll keep herself busy so that she won’t
have time to keep on thinking about things. Looking at the customers, she
becomes nervous for unlike summer vacation, dusk at normal days has lots of customers
that are high school students. Cheering herself on, she tells herself that she
can do it and guys aren’t a bit scary. Then, someone calls out to her to move.
She turns to see a handsome guy with a name tag of Kuroda.
Kuroda tells her not to stand around
there and bother his work. He asks if she’s working or not. Himari is shock.
Thinking that she didn’t know him during summer vacation, Himari apologizes to
him. She tells him about working there from today on and yoroshiku. Kuroda just
glares at her and leaves. Himari freaks out over being ignored. Later on, her
friend tells her not to mind it for Kuroda gives that kind of feeling to anyone
and she also isn’t good in communicating with him. Himari says is that so. Himari
watches Kuroda serve some food to a family. Himari positively thinks that if
they stay in contact for a longer time, their relationship will definitely
become better. Someone comes in and Himari welcomes the customer. To her shock,
it is guys. She looks around as to who can receive them. Everyone is busy so it
is only her who is can do it. She asks the customers how many they are. She
starts to freak out as more male customers come in.
Running around, she wonders why
her again and it is alright, don’t be afraid. She timidly tells the customers
that she’ll bring them to their seats. Kuroda looks displeased over how Himari
is working. Then, there is another customer coming inside. While distressed
Himari wonder why it is another guy, Kuroda cuts her by telling her that if she
is that unwilling to receive customers, then just serve inside [the kitchen].
While Himari looks surprised, Kuroda proceeds to show the customers their
seats. After her working shift, Himari has finished changing her clothes in the
locker room. She wonders if her ‘unwillingness to receive customers’ is shown
on her face when she thought that she already did it quite well. She tells
herself that even if she isn’t unwilling, but if it can be seen, she has to pay
attention to this. Her friend asks if she is getting off work. Himari says yes,
and how about her. Just then, Kuroda is coming out of the locker room. He sighs
over the noisy chatting two girls. He is surprised when Himari’s friend asks if
she is alright now since during summer, she mentioned about being afraid of
guys. She happily tells Himari that right now, she looks as if she is totally
okay with it.
Flustered Himari protest but in
the end, she still couldn’t totally adapt to it. Her friend says is that so,
but it is alright, she can slowly get used to it. This made Kuroda reflect on
what he told her earlier on. As Himari is walking in the streets, Kuroda tells
her that if she isn’t used to dealing with guys then tell him about it early
on, such an annoying girl. Himari is startled that she exclaims how he knew. He
tells her that he carelessly overheard it at the hallway. There is a long pause
for Himari finds it difficult and didn’t know how to progress the conversation.
He says, about that. She timidly says, yes. Himari is surprised when Kuroda
apologizes for what he told her a while ago which is a bit over the top. He
tells her that he doesn’t know her issue yet he said some mean things. He says
that it is inevitable to say those things, if one doesn’t know the situation.
Himari smiles and says that she is already used to this kind of thing. Kuroda
is puzzled over her remark. She happily says that she knows of someone who says
meaner things than he does. He goes ‘ha’. She nervously says that isn’t what
she meant. She thinks that Keita really said so many mean things but.. She
becomes flustered over it being not easy to start working just to forget Keita.
Looking at her, Kuroda thinks that even if she isn’t good in dealing with guys,
it turns out that there is someone at her side.
Comment: And, even if she is the one who wanted this, Himari seems
to be the one who is having a hard time about it. Since it seems that Keita has
moved on and started to distance himself from her, Himari has decided to also
do that. Of course, it isn’t happening faster than she wanted it to be. As
usual, Ryou is being nice and everything. And, it seems that he can only be a
friend to Himari though I think he can never be that to her because this is the
second time he told her to confide to him and she pretty much ignored that
offer. ^^; It is understandable though since he was an ex-crush and she rejected him. And we got a new guy. Going for a harem? Another heart going to be
broken by Himari? Well, maybe because Ryou is a lame love rival, the mangaka
created Kuroda to spice things up which might lead to a reunion of the two.
When Kuroda was mean to her, I thought, are you the beast boyfriend? Lol Until,
he softened up later on. ^^; Anyway, let’s see what this new character can
offer to the series. Scans by all★wink汉化组
Quote of the day:
You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It
won’t happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, “I don’t care how
hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get
the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.” ~ Joel Osteen, Your Best
Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential
Hello and thanks as usual, by the way I love the beast boyfriend appearance! lol He appeals much more than Ryou, hoping Himari's hurt feelings can heal a bit by befriend him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading ^-^
DeleteHehe..true, I guess 'bad boys' are interesting and 'good guys' are boring in this case. =P
Congrats Himari, you will soon have your very own harem! Interestingly, the girl who is afraid of guys attracts them with little effort.
ReplyDeleteThat's right ^^ And, they are handsome guys, too. No wonder fangirls think that life is unfair. =P
Delete*Sigh* Cliche event come in 3...2...1....next chapter.
ReplyDeleteHehehe..
DeleteI seriously hope that guy doesn't become another rival. I actually like him as just a co-worker.
ReplyDeleteIt was her own decision to return to being siblings, so she can either stick to her choice and move on or go back to Keita after all, but I sure hope she figures it out without all the drama and the moving on part without Kuroda.
Is that so.
DeleteIndeed. Well, that's the mangaka's way of dragging the story.
hahha Himari has become quite the player...lead guys on then dump them..
ReplyDeleteHimari has now just hit it off with guys..good enuf for creating her own harem..
Lol, slolly, you can put it that way.
DeleteIt's getting more and more interesting! And...Kuroda you cutie! In chapter 40 things reaaaally get hot, beasts "confront"! hahahahaha
