And so, Karin skipped school yesterday to go on a first date with Nao. It is like a dream since Nao did a lot of things that made her happy. Karin checks the key in a small container, yes, indeed, it wasn’t a dream. They got the lovers’ lock yesterday and that means, their relationship will finally be harmonious and of course it will be since they are a married couple. She is glad that it is no longer a loveless marriage for their feelings are mutual..a married couple that is full of love. In class 1-A, the teacher is telling everyone that they are going to the gym for the closing ceremonies. He was interrupted by Karin who shouted that she finally made it. Just when the teacher is scolding her for skipping the clean up yesterday, he is shock to see that Karin is carrying a luggage and a huge bag. Karin explains that she was packing so she came late to school. The teacher nervously asks if she’s running away from home. Sitting on her seat, Karin says no, she’s going home. Isuzu is surprised by this. At the gym, Isuzu asks if the apartment’s water heater is already fixed. Karin angrily tells him to be quiet for the marriage thing is a secret. Isuzu casually says that if she didn’t say things clearly, he wouldn’t know what she’s talking about. Karin tells him that she lived separately from Nao for a week because the heater doesn’t have hot water. Isuzu says that if it is like that, how come she’s going back, or she won’t be taking a bath from today on. Karin angrily tells him that she’ll go back to her main house to take a bath. Isuzu asks what’s up with that, isn’t it such a hassle. Karin happily tells him that it is alright because they are a married couple so no matter what happens, they will always be together. She whispers to him that Nao invited her on a date yesterday so she skipped school. Nao had told her that he is very happy when he’s with her. She assures Isuzu that she isn’t being deceived by Nao so there’s no need for him to worry about her. This made Isuzu pat her head. While Karin is puzzled about that, Isuzu angrily looks at Nao’s direction and curses him. Soon, class is dismissed. Karin grabs her bag and luggage and rushes out of the classroom. The teacher shouts for her to definitely come for the summer’s review class. Karin says okay. She is excited to go back to that apartment. She bumps into Wakamatsu who carries her on his shoulder upon Isuzu’s orders and takes her away. Karin can only scream to wait, her luggage and bag. At Isuzu’s place, Karin continues to scold Isuzu to quickly bring her back to school for there is an important thing in the luggage. She’s furious that he’s ignoring her. When Isuzu opens a door, Karin is surprised to see Nao inside. Isuzu says that Nao has something important to tell her regarding the marriage.

Karin is excited for she thinks that Nao will be telling Isuzu, who wanted to expose their marriage at school, that they won’t separate. She thinks that no matter how they started, right now, they are passionately in love and there are no more words can be used to criticize them. She sits in front of Nao and urges Nao to say it clearly to Isuzu. Karin tells Isuzu to sit beside her. Nao calls out to Karin and says, “Let’s divorce.” While Karin’s smile freezes, Nao apologizes to her for thinking that marriage is just ‘living together’, just deciding on a marriage partner through a picture, he was mistaken..Karin is serious in marrying, and he should have..blah blah.. Karin didn’t quite hear what he’s saying because her brain is still processing the ‘let’s divorce’. Nao apologizes for being shallow and hurt Karin a lot. Nao is surprised when Karin asks what about yesterday, that thing about him saying they’ll always be together so how could he say divorce after one night, and that is something that one shouldn’t say. While Karin tries to laugh it off, flustered Nao gives her the divorce contract and gives her the pen. He thanks her for everything until now and he wants her to sign. Seeing Nao’s name on the contract, Karin exclaims that she doesn’t understand, they held hands, rang the bell together, even had a lock for them to be together forever. She shouts, key.. She quickly rushes out of the place. She returns to the school and gets the container from her bag. Looking at the key, she thinks that it is still here and they will become harmonious together. She hears some footsteps. She turns around to call Nao but it turns out to be Isuzu. She’s disappointed and this irritates Isuzu. Taking her bag and luggage with her, Karin tells Isuzu that she’s going home so don’t mess with her again. Isuzu offers to give her a ride since her main house is quite far. Karin informs him that she’s going back to that apartment. Isuzu reminds her that just now, they are divorcing. Karin says that Nao is definitely forced into it by something. Karin accuses Isuzu of deceiving her by secretly signing the divorce paper. Isuzu angrily denies it and do whatever she wants to do. Karin says that is indeed what she is going to do. Isuzu tells her to go to the apartment to realize the truth. Karin is puzzled by what he said. At the apartment, Karin is stunned to see it all empty. Isuzu tells her that one week ago, he told Nao to divorce her and he immediately agreed. Holding the divorce paper, Isuzu says that he didn’t do anything with it, Nao was the one who distinctly write on it. That guy is obviously going to divorce her yet he would invite her for a date just to play around with her. He’s really such an awful bastard. Karin goes to the toilet and opens the shower. Isuzu calls out to her what she is doing. After testing the water on her hand, Karin tearfully says that it is warm, the water heater isn’t broken, liar. Isuzu puts a towel on her and either he’s blushing or he looks flustered.

Comment: So, it takes a Nao and an Isuzu to break Karin’s heart. Isuzu did the threat and a suggestion through words. Nao fulfills it through action.  Sigh..so another lead guy who kind of easily gives up the girl because someone told him so. Nao’s given alibi for the divorce about not knowing much about marriage is a bit lame. Unfortunately, Karin is in shock and denial that it is more important to check on the key rather than to confront him about this. I think if she did, Nao might slip why he is really divorcing her. If there is any positive thing would come out of here, I hope she would be less naïve in depending on things or stuff they did like ringing the bell, etc as a basis that their relationship will be together forever. I’m not exactly sure why Nao is divorcing Karin either. Is it only because of erasing any record of divorce, or so that Isuzu won’t bug Karin anymore? The exposing marriage thing doesn’t hold water anymore because it was exposed that Isuzu doesn’t have the guts to do it. And, Isuzu not bugging Karin won’t exactly happen since because of the divorce, it seems that Nao is giving Karin to Isuzu in a silver platter..hehe, even if he doesn’t seem to be a love rival ^^; So, maybe it is ‘I don’t deserve you’ thing? Or, there should be love first before marriage? If so, he could have talk things out with Karin rather than deciding on this on his own. Oh well, maybe it is the Nao trauma thing that he doesn’t know how to be in a relationship and stuff. I did hope Nao would say what Karin thought he would say and prove to Isuzu that he does love her. They did have a lovey-dovey date yesterday which could temporarily dispel Isuzu’s misgivings regarding Nao. I’m not too sure if Isuzu has done more than what is shown and claims to do because Nao seems a bit reluctant about it. Karin hasn’t signed the papers yet so maybe the divorce won’t happen yet and Isuzu had a change of heart about it. On a side note, I’m surprised that Isuzu made it to the colored magazine page.
