Hachimitsu ni Hatsukoi [Chapter 32]

It is morning and Koharu is feeding Copan. Natsuki says that he heard that she went to Touya’s house yesterday and she should lessen the times when she’s all alone with guys. Holding a bento box, Koharu brightly tells him that here’s his bento and good luck with club activity. She shoves the bento on his stomach and shouts, together with that big-chest manager. As Koharu leaves, Natsuki thinks that she is still angry. Koharu is furious as to why, as a girlfriend, she would get so angry over nonsense things. At the shoe lockers area, Konoha says that of course. “Comparing one’s girlfriend with some other girl, [he] can just go to hell.” Koharu nervously says that it isn’t up to that extent. Slamming the shoe locker door, Konoha exclaims that Natsuki is unforgiveable for unexpectedly comparing his girlfriend with a big-chest manager. Koharu tries to defend Natsuki by saying that it isn’t really Natsuki but what if the other club members say it. Konoha angrily says that it is the same. Koharu says is that so. Konoha tells her that a so-called girlfriend is a special existence because it is an existence wherein no other person can be compared to. Koharu looks surprised. Sumire says that Koharu is always like that, it is because compared to Natsuki, there is no more important guy at her side, and she probably never compared him with the other guys around. She tells Koharu that it is definitely because there is no other guy who would think of[/treat] her like Natsuki does. Meanwhile, Touya is in bed. He sits up and remembers Koharu happily calling out to him with a tray of food. Then, he is surprised when someone calls out, “Tsudzuki-kun! Good morning, Tsudzuki-kun.” Putting on his glasses, Touya sweatdrops for it is his parrot who said that. It kept on greeting him a good morning. Touya mutters that girl taught the bird some words on her own. He imagines Koharu kept on talking with the parrot to learn to greet him a good morning. He imagines her greeting him a good morning. And, he blushes and mutters that she is the one who made him fall in love. Soon, it is lunch time. Her friends comment over how luxurious[yummy] Koharu’s bento looks and it is even in two layers. Sumire comments that she must have given a share to Natsuki. Koharu thinks that in the end, that bento is quite pitiful. During lunch, some guys notice Natsuki and friends getting ready to eat. They grab Natsuki’s bento to see what Koharu made for him and it is plain rice with a pickled plum[/hinomaru bento]. They feel sorry for him that one of them even gave Natsuki his already drunk juice.
As they sympathetically leave, Natsuki eats it up while shouting that plum is super delicious and healthy. Natsuki is surprised that he ate it all up. Kotarou tells him that is bad, he should properly chew it. Masamoto laughs and asks what Natsuki did to make Koharu unhappy. Drinking some juice, Natsuki says that it is nothing, not a big thing. Masamoto says that he had compared his manager’s provocative body with Koharu’s chest. Natsuki exclaims if he has super powers. Masamoto says that manager’s chest is a guy’s romance[/dream]. Kotarou asks if this is the reason why Natsuki is excited when entering the club. Natsuki is speechless. He admits to them that now, he doesn’t feel anything when he looks at other girls and it is quite baffling for it seems that all of his senses would only accept Koharu. The two guys smile and say that wasn’t it so from the beginning and he is Koharu 100%. Masamoto says that he must been thinking of sex with Koharu. This made Natsuki blush and shouts for him not to say that as if he knows since he [/Natsuki] has been enduring. Masamoto laughs and says that guys are like that but then, Koharu should be a bit different from before. Natsuki recalls Koharu asking him to hug her. Natsuki says that’s right, they are properly moving forward. At the school field, Koharu is carrying a bento box and is looking around for Natsuki. She thinks that bento for Natsuki is pitiful and he ought to be near here just like before. She sees some guys playing baseball. She recalls Sumire telling her that she never compared Natsuki with other guys. Koharu thinks that it is true, for even if she was on a date with Naohiro, she also thought of Natsuki from start to finish that until now, she never thought of other guys. Just then, Touya calls out to her. Surprised Koharu turns to face him when someone shouts for her to watch for the ball. Touya immediately shields her that the baseball hits his arm. The guy apologizes and goes to take the ball. Touya breaks away from Koharu and asks if she is alright. She asks him if he is okay for the ball hit him. Holding his arm, he says that it is okay for he’s a guy and thanks to her, his cold is also okay. Koharu says that’s great. Turning away, she apologizes for she has to give this bento to Natsuki. This somewhat made Touya bit his lip then calls out to Koharu that he has decided to face love. Happily thinking that Touya is aware who the person he likes, she tells him yes, of course. “I’ll cheer you on your romantic love!!” Touya looks surprised then starts to laugh. Koharu looks surprised at him. She thinks that she never compared Natsuki with anyone, because he is always at her side. If just now, he was the one who protected her that way, [and] he is smiling at her side because for her, it is only Natsuki [who do those things?] and that’s it.
Comment: Touya didn’t confess so maybe he is going to make Koharu fall for him later on instead of outright saying it since the chance of being reject is high. That is, unless, he planned to keep it as an unrequited love until the end of the series...I think the mangaka did that with her previous series. At the back of my mind, I think Touya is cannon fodder just to make the two closer and for Natsuki to treat Koharu better. I’m actually surprised at how angry Konoha is at Natsuki. From what her two friends are saying, it seems they don’t quite approve of Natsuki. ^^; Konoha is a girl who won’t easily let any guy treat her badly especially as a girlfriend. I find her somewhat interesting. Ironically, because of what Sumire said, it will be Koharu who is going to start comparing her boyfriend with other guys. ^^;; As for Natsuki, I think before he thinks of doing something more with Koharu, he needs to treat her better than he usually does or at least be more careful with what he says especially if it wasn’t really his real intention. I guess it is because he is already used to doing it that way because that is how he always acted with her before – too casual like a childhood friend. Scans by 工作室

  1. Thanks for HnH summary! Nobody likes to be compare to others. I dont blame Koharu for being angry with Natsuki. Let's hope they will make up soon, or Touya will have his advantage to win Koharu's heart. <3 Tika

  2. Eh, I think she is taking it too far being mad. It's like Kat said I think since they've been together for so long Natsuki can speak his mind more freely compared to someone he just met. He didn't have any malice behind, so I hope this little storm blows over quickly.

As for Koharu still being thick to Touya's feelings. Well I don't think that's going to be cured anytime soon or unless he comes right out and confesses.

    1. Ya..though, they didn't know Natsuki's true intention for saying that.

      That's right.
