Free Talk: Tenth Anniversary Greetings ^^

Yes, it has been ten years already. Wow, I didn’t expect to do this for such a long time. Actually, it is supposed to be ten years at pitas but that site has ‘died’ and currently in a ‘comatose’ state that I really don’t know whether it will still be revived or not. ^^; So, this past ten years would be ten years of blogging ^^ It used to be a personal blog but somehow ended up into a manga summary blog =P I find that amusing because I used to have a diary and it also ended up summarizing the movies/shows that I’ve watched. ^^; So, once again, it is time to thank those who made this all possible. First of all, I would like to thank God for everything and helping me through all these past years. I had also finally cleared off my pending summaries. Yay! I don’t know if I should be thankful that this is attainable because some series are taken over by others, some series are in ‘limbo’ = ‘suddenly not actively scanlated in Chinese’ and some series suddenly ended. ^^; Thanks to my parents for providing my needs that I have some time to do these summaries. Thanks to the Chinese scanlators and scanners because without them, there will be no summaries. Of course, I would want to thank, YOU, my readers, for reading my summaries especially those who tag in their thanks, encouragement and comments about the series. ^-^ Thanks to those who tag in links and information of Chinese scans that are already out. ^^ It saves time in checking the usual Chinese sites. ^^ Thanks you very much for the support ^_^ Through the counter of blogger, I can see the number of hits per summary. It is quite encouraging to see how many are reading the summaries. Also, thanks to those who mention and plug about pitas/this site to other people. ^^ Thank you very much, everyone! (*^-^*)/

Now, I really don’t know if pitas will still be up or not. It has been three weeks already. I plan to wait, until February if it would ‘revive or not’, before moving information stuff into blogger and probably, renaming the site into ADOD2. =P It does feel kind of strange that all those stuff written before is ‘gone’ though I did save everything on my computer. ^^ But then, they are no longer relevant because most of those stuff were already English scanlated. Those that were not had already been moved here in blogger. Thank God that I made an archive site though it is purely just to have tags for easier search of past summaries. =P Also, thank God that pitas readers were able to find this site though I get a feeling that some others still haven’t.. Anyway, as mentioned before in pitas, I’m limiting the summaries that I’m doing in order to do other things in life. It is only recently that I was able to somewhat catch up with some manga and anime, and other things. Aside from not summarizing complete series, I’m no longer summarizing series that is way behind the English scanlations. Hehe, I don’t want to go through a lot of pending summaries anymore. -_-; I would lean more on starting summaries from a new arc of any interesting old series, or just start any new promising series. I would also tend to avoid series that are quite updated in English scanlation except those that I had already been working on before like Kaichou wa Maidsama, Kimi ni Todoke, Skip Beat! and Vampire Knight. These series are also done in an eratic way because at times, the English scanlations/summaries comes out earlier than the Chinese ones. The series that would most likely be out regularly based on the consistency of the Chinese scanlations last year are: Akai Ito, From Five to Nine, Kainushi wa Akuma, Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru, Kedamono Kareshi, Kyou no Kira-kun, Mei-chan no Shitsuji, Miseinen Dakedo Kodomo Janai, Sugar*Soldier, The One, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, and Watashi wa Mada Sore o Shiranai. The ones that haven’t been regularly updated are: Ookami-heika no Hanayome and Ojousama wa Oyomesama. For OnH, I’m waiting for chapter 34 to be out first before working on chapter 35.

I’m still not sure about True Love..maybe a few more chapters to see if it is interesting and hopefully the female lead is less irritating and stupid than the female lead of the author’s previous series. =P I’m surprised over the number of hits it got because I thought incest is a ‘turn off’ theme for most people. ^^; Japanese readers seem to be fond of it. ^^;; I’m not sure about continuing Suki-tte Ii na yo or not since as mentioned, I’ve skipped a lot of chapters and I only did the latest arc because I’m familiar with the main couple. I have not yet finished watching the anime either = to familiarize with the other characters. For now, if BxSmanga has not found a Chinese translator for it, I’ll see if I can continue it or not. For other series, I’m not committing anything yet since I’m careful about doing too many summaries that I cannot handle. Ideally, I want it to be like: when a Chinese scanlation is out, I can work on it as soon as possible. If multiple series are out at the same time, priority is given to series that is more interesting and/or series that have more readers = based on the number of comments, and also, hits per summary in blogger. The plan is to work on around 4 summaries per week. Hehe, in the end, we’ll just see how things go. ^^ And, as I’ve always mention, I’ll keep doing this as long as I’m able. (^-^)v

So, once again, thank you everyone for reading and the support ^^ Hopefully, this coming year, we have great developments in the series we are already reading, great endings in the series that are ending, and some more promising + interesting new series to come ^-^ Let’s enjoy each other company again this coming year.
