Upon seeing Kyouko in costume, Kanae comments that she is surprised since it unexpectedly suits Kyouko. Kyouko thought that if she added a lip ring, she’ll be Setsuka. Yashiro compliments Kyouko and looks at Ren to comment. After a pause, Ren says that it is quite unexpected. Kyouko wonders about that pause.
Murasame starts wondering that he has seen Kyouko before with that kind of image. Kyouko denies it. After describing Kyouko’s appearance, Murasame has figured it out. She is a part of a female gang, no weapons fighter-type Snow White. As usual, Kyouko goes sparkly eyes over that but they have to explain that it isn’t fairy tale Snow White.
Hehe, I guess they are quite thankful that Murasame cannot connect the dots. ^^; But then, would it be problematic later on when Murasame finds out the truth and realize that Kyouko lied when she insisted that they never met before?
Too bad Murasame interrupted or else, maybe Yashiro would wonder why Ren had that kind of response if it is the first time he saw her in that outfit. Unless Ren wants to fake any favorable reaction towards Kyouko so that no one else would realize their ‘relationship’.

Soon, the staff calls out for them to get ready for the next shoots. Murasame complains about changing clothes for the cop again. Just as Kyouko is leaving, Ren calls out to her and says that he wants to talk with her later on.
Kyouko ponders on what could it be and it is definitely not about work but then, did she do something that she has to be called out about it. I don’t remember the context but she recalls the time when she told Ren that she is a holy maiden/saint and doesn’t understand the adult world. She panics as she wonders if Ren took her words literally and unlike her, Ren looks is farsighted/looks at the big picture.
Sorry, I don’t quite understand this part. I understand the words but not the context over what she is thinking Ren wanted to say to her. And, in despair, she thought that Ren’s romance experience level is at chick-level. She snaps out of it and starts to concentrate on her role when the staff are calling out to her over what’s she is depressed about.

So, Kanae and Kyouko are getting ready for the action scenes. Kyouko knows the lines already because she practiced it with Kanae. When the staff mentioned about filming in reverse from the climax to the start of the fight scene. After recalling Kanae mentioning about having more experience in filming in chronological order. The two girls look at each other and smiled.
I guess that is more like, hey, we get to act together and do it in non-chronological order like what we talked about before. Actually, in a way, it is like acting for real instead of practicing lines which they did before during Kanae’s training.
Lory found out that Kyouko the actress is going to participate. Yuki says that as expected once someone catches Leo’s eye, so Kyouko was asked to be a substitute. Lory says isn’t that good, if one wants to use someone, use him/her to the max. Yuki confesses that is what he also thought. Lory smiles. They were interrupted by the staff shouting over the amazing fight scene.

Well, obviously, that is Kanae and Kyouko’s fight scene. Unlike in the previous arcs, the author assumes that the reader had read her previous series to know what’s happening in Crisis List. It is the coolest fight scene in that series.
I’m still not quite into this arc. Hm...maybe perhaps, this is some sort of filler arc? Character’s training arc-type for Kanae? Something like how the Jap actors get to be more well-versed in filming in another country? Seriously think that is not how it is done in real life. ^^;;
Oh, perhaps, it is because of this filming that they’ll also decided that Kyouko is too amazing to be just a substitute. I do wonder if what Yuki meant was for this mock filming or substitute for someone in Project Route. I’m still confused if this is really a mock shoot, part of PR or PR itself. ^^;
yay, thanks Kat. Ok proceed reading :D
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome ^-^
DeleteLol I can only imagine what Kyouko would think upon hearing 'Snow White'. With Murasame though, I think it matters little especially because of how Ren and him clashed quite big time back there, so his focus should be on Ren instead and less on Kyouko.
ReplyDeleteAh seeing the raw I think I can recognize that part since it was so text heavy >,<. Well Kyouko tends to overthink so your description shouldn't be far off I guess. Ren's level of romance is chick-level lol. That one was unexpected though.
Indeed, I still find it weird if it is just a mock shoot. It's got to be for something, some project if not PR. Anyway, I just like that Kyouko gets to act though, the part where she blends with her role is something I like most of the series.
Hehe, in a way, if she is actually thinking straight, how does that kind of outfit connect to Snow White? ^^;; Yup. Somehow, I think he'll be a fan of Ren in a way once he finds out that he's the son of his beloved Kuu.
DeleteTrue. Actually, that overthinking can somehow extend the pages/length of the chapter.
Indeed. Actually, this shooting is a bit 'off' because unlike before, there is practically no obstacle. There is no 'conflict'/problem in this arc so far. Everyone is doing well and the two girls are practically just going to amaze everyone there.
Hm...could this be a 'calm before storm' type of arc? I mean, nothing much is happening and it is currently a bit predictable = we know that Kyouko will wow them with her action scenes.
haha it's not even shooting yet no? I mean Kyouko was in for the mock scene, though from how Lorry and Kuresaki talked, it sounds like she will be in eventually (like talk about using to the fullest or something).
DeleteHmm I didn't think that initially, but it surely look like it. The joint Project would surely be full of stories, aside from the main cast. With crews from countries blending together, there's bound to be conflicts.
I think so. I think it can be interpreted as aside from using Kyouko as Kanae's assistant, they can also use her as an actress to help out when they need more people in the mock shoot. Storywise, I think it is definite that she'll join PR.
DeleteYup.
I look forward to seeing these scenes in the official translation!
