In the prelims, I don’t recall them practicing before the performance but here, they do. In a way, there is a pro and con. The pro is getting to feel the stage and make adjustments but it can really affect one’s psyche if the one performing before you are really, really good.
I’m not sure how the one before Ichiei can still play properly afterwards after hearing them. But then, that is unless one has some insane level of confidence and knew their performance can compete against them. ^^ Regarding Ichiei’s performance, from Miran’s reaction, it seems that she has accepted the outcome of the change of positions.
This chapter shows how close Natsu and Momoya have gotten which is quite nice ^^ Natsu managed to calm Momoya’s nerves and they even got some bonding time that night. Takezou and Hiro also got some bonding time though not exactly romantic. From Chika’s interaction with the older man, I guess he is really inclined to follow his grandfather’s footsteps due to his interest in making kotos.
