Ren’s mother asks what’s up with her since Ren is wearing a black haired wig. Ren asks what, doesn’t this wig and uniform up make her look like a model student. At school, pointing to herself, Ren asks Yusei if she looks like a model student and can he recognize her.
Yusei says that of course he can recognize her. Holding her hair, he says this scent, you put on that scent. Ren exclaims but of course, she also wants to create memories of being youth with him while in school. “After all, it’s quite rare to buy a matching fragrance.”
Writing on his clipboard, as general affairs member, he tells her that she violated the rule on the prohibition of wearing perfume in school so she ought to change that by next week. Ren exclaims her shock that it is forbidden.
Yusei says that she lowered her guard in this kind of place. “Okay, here’s the [demerit?] slip. *preparing to leave* It’s great that you were able to create a memory of me flagging you down during a uniform [/appearance] inspection.”
Holding her face, she wonders if it is her but just now, for a second, she changed into Manami. “Was it because of the wig...!!?” She snaps out of it when Kou waves his hand in front of her and says, ah, it turns out to be Ren. “I thought I was mistaken, because of the black hair— Is that a wig? What’s with you?”
Ren mutters, Kou... This surprises Kou. Manami apologizes and realizes her mistake since she is used to calling him ‘Kou’ in her Manami identity. Also, her [Ren] relationship with Kou isn’t that good.
Kou laughs and says that it is totally fine to call him Kou. After looking a bit flustered, Ren tells him that there is something important that she definitely has to tell him.
After looking surprised, Yusei says that he hasn’t heard of that. Ren quickly explains that it was before she went steady with him and she already rejected him. “Perhaps, I’m a bit selfish like this but I always don’t like the fact that it seems that I’m deceiving him...so I want to properly tell him about it.”
Yusei says that he’ll go with her. She asks if he’s worried. He denies it. Later on, Kou asks, soul switch? Ren explains that she became Manami and vice-versa, perhaps, he won’t believe her but it is the truth... Kou asks so she means that he actually had fallen for her. Ren timidly says that’s right.
Scratching his head, Kou says that he has no way of believing it since it is too unrealistic. “Even if I wanted to say that, but like this I can already understand... that ill-feeling lately. *recalls Yusei’s actions during the field trip* Then, that wasn’t sister complex...
Agh...there is no longer any space for me to insert myself, right? Since I have no way of changing your decision, *v-sign and smiles* I’ll also do my best in searching for my destined person! *wink* Then, this hindrance should first leave.”
Ren goes huh then she turns around to see Yusei waiting at the side. Kou tells Ren that Yusei’s possessiveness is really strong. Waving goodbye, he comemnts Yusei himself isn’t aware of it. After Kou left, Yusei asks if they finished talking.
Ren asks if he was waiting for her. He asks her what Kou said at the end. Ren nervously says that it is nothing. He pinches her face and tells her to quickly tell him. Ren says that she simply found out about something nice. “Geez, don’t be like that.”
He tells her that there’s no need to go home with Manami for the time being. “She’ll definitely have some apprehensions about us. Manami, she isn’t good in interacting with others. But after she switched with you, she found friends so that really put me at ease.”
Ren is amazed that he noticed Manami’s lonely [isolated] situation. She smells something that she asked if he sprayed on the perfume when he obviously lectured her that she cannot.
Yusei casually says that it is already after school and besides, he used it because she’s with him. Ren blushes and asks is that so? This made Ren really happy and think that this guy is her boyfriend.
She clings on to his sleeve and tells him to give her a second and she’ll change back. “Wait for a while!! I’ll go change in that store over there.” In the women’s room, Ren thinks that before, there are a lot of people who don’t like her flashy appearance.
After changing back, she goes out and thinks that this meant that right now, Yusei totally accepts her as a whole. Looking around, she notices that the store is looking for a part-time worker and it isn’t bad since the uniforms look really cute.
A guy asks if she is interested to work here. Ren says that she is thinking about it but then, she’s just looking around... The guy exclaims that she is Yaotome Ren. He says that he follows her ins[tagram] and she is actually really cute in real life.
He pulls Ren out of the store as the guy is shocked that Ren had a boyfriend. Back at the streets, Ren calls out to him to wait. Yusei says that there is something very problematic about her. “Don’t strike a conversation and happily chat with someone.”
Ren recalls Kou telling her about Yusei being very possessive. She asks if he is jealous. Slightly flustered, Yusei says she’s annoying. This made Ren blush. She suddenly grabs his arm and pulls him to an alley. He shouts what is she doing.
She hugs him tight and shouts, “I’ll only look at you, Hidaka. And, the only one who can touch me is you, Hidaka Yukei!! So, relax!! ...but then, I’m really happy that you’re jealous because of me-♡ It can be said that I’m very popular...”
He leans closer to her. She asks what, don’t keep on staring at her since it is embarrassing her. He smiles and says in the end, her being like this is much better. Ren exclaims what is he doing in this kind of place. [I don’t know if there’s a missing page since it seems that he did something; maybe kiss her]
He says that she was the one who pulled him to this place. That night, Manami notices the photo stickers Ren did with Yusei in her drawer. She erases Ren’s name and write hers on the picture.
This chapter shows again why Ren is such a likeable girl. She came clean with Kou and explained things to him even if he might not believe her. Kou took it well and pretty much found out about the love triangle going on between the three.
And, Kou’s nice enough to give Ren a hint regarding Yusei. It was helpful later on when Yusei had a jealous fit. Ren took the initiative to assure him of her feelings for him as her one and only.
Well, Manami hasn’t accepted defeat yet. And, for Ren to see Manami’s face in the mirror for a second seems to hint on something bad going to happen soon. Scans by 正宮汉化组
