In the city, a lot of goons laid bloodied
at the roof top of a building. One scared goon looks up to someone in a white
suit and calls him a monster. Then, the goon screams as the white suit guy
beats him up. Some guys in suits call out, waka [young head], that’s enough...
The guy in the white suit kicks the
unconscious goon. There is a snake tattoo on his left upper arm. Licking the
splattered blood from his face, the guy says, “That girl is finally 16 years
old.”
At a huge Japanese mansion, an older man
says, “Happy birthday, it’s your 16th birthday. In other words, Ageha, you are
going to marry with a yakuza man.” [Ageha = swallowtail butterfly]

A long haired glasses girl drops the rice from
her chopsticks and says, ...ha? The older man continues to say that afterwards,
the man she chose will become his successor, the next leader of Tsukijou-gumi
[/yakuza gang].
Aghea shouts wait a minute, gramps, how can
he suddenly say such a thing!? “Darn it, I absolutely do not want to marry with
some yakuza member!!” Her grandfather opens the television.
A female reporter says that Tsukijou Raido,
the leader of Tsukijou-gumi which has the strongest dominance in Japan and has
approximately 30,000 people, announced yesterday this declaration, ‘The man who
becomes the husband of my granddaughter will become the next leader’. Ageha
looks speechless at the television.

Looking at the pictures of the previous
leaders on the wall, Raigo says from the start, just like him, the yakuza whom
the Tsukijou woman chooses will seize the world. “This is fate. *holds Ageha’s
shoulders* This heavy responsibility for Japan’s future rests on your shoulders
so choose a good husband!”
The lined-up underlings bow and shout,
“Ojousama, take care on your way!” Aghast Ageha can only sigh and think that
she really hates the yakuza.
At a cat café, Ageha plays with some cats.
She felt that she’s in heaven and it helps dissipate this morning’s pressure
[of choosing a husband]. She even wants to clean up some cat poop but the
manager, Minako told her that there’s no need to do that since that is her
work.

She sighs and tells Ageha that she saw the
news and Ageha has a lot of problems as usual. “Even if I can understand from
your standpoint as to why you don’t want to attract attention but can’t you do
something about those old fashioned eyeglasses?”
Ageha asks why. Minako says that she’ll
even ask her why... Minako thinks that Ageha is obviously beautiful, such a
waste. A boy serves some drink and asks the two what they are talking about. It
is a young and girlie-looking waiter. Blushing Ageha calls out to him as
Kira-san.
Kira tells Ageha that her milk tea is here
so go drink it while it’s hot. Holding up her arm, Ageha shouts itakadimasu. While
she drinks the tea, Kira thanks Ageha for patronizing their store by coming
there every day. Ageha says that the cats here are very cute that they heal her
and it is like heaven.

Ageha thinks that actually, it more than
that, Ono Kira-san is so cute but he is older than her by two years (18 years
old). “Ever since he started working at the cat café last month, he serves
really delicious milk tea.” Kira gives her a small butterfly-designed compact
mirror.
He says that it looks pretty that he
thought that it suits her. He smiles and greets her a happy 16th
birthday. Nose-bleeding Ageha thinks that it’s so precious. She tells him that she’ll
use it as a decoration for the god altar. “Honestly speaking, I got careless
that I started to care about Kira-san.”
She thanks him for the gift and left. Kira
waves her goodbye then looks serious. While walking, Ageha thinks that she
doesn’t want him to know about her family background.

At the street, a flashy man calls out to
Ageha and asks if she wants to drink milk tea with him. Ageha gloomily thinks
that it is rare for her to feel happy yet how come this happens. She tells the
man that she’s going home. He tells her not to be so stiff.
Then he whispers that she is granddaughter
of Tsukijou-gumi’s leader. “I saw it on the news. If I get to marry you, I’ll
become the next leader. Everyone is aiming for that position that they are
running all over the place. *Ageha looks nervous* In short, let’s continue
talking somewhere else.”
Ageha shouts she doesn’t want to. She looks
at the people around for help but everyone quickly looks away and ignore her.
She recalls the time when other parents told their children not to have
anything to do with a yakuza’s daughter so don’t talk or play with her.

While the man is dragging her away, Ageha
tightly grabs her bag strap. Suddenly, Kira hits the man with his elbow causing
the man to fall on some garbage heap. Kira grabs Ageha and tells her to run.
After they ran away and stop at some place,
Ageha asks why he... Kira confesses that he has seen the news this morning. “Is
it true that your family is part of the yakuza?” Ageha becomes aghast since it
was exposed. She feared that he will also leave her.
He asks her if she has already decided who
will be her husband. “Also, can you leave a gap for me...?” This puzzles Ageha.
She blushes when Kira confesses that he likes her. She asks if he’s deceiving
her. He says that he isn’t and from the moment that he first met her, he
always... “Ageha-san I always like you.” And, they kiss. Ageha blushes.

Later on, people are staring at Ageha who
is happily skipping on the street. She thought that it is like a dream since
Kira unexpectedly likes her. She nosebleeds when she remembers their kiss.
While a boy is telling his mother to look
at Ageha’s bleeding mess, Ageha apologizes to her grandfather since she’ll be
living together with Kira and she even got his gift... She pats her pocket and
looks surprised. She looks at her bag and realizes that she left it at the
store.
In front of the cat café, Ageha gloomily
thinks that it is closed so she’ll just have to come back when it is open.
[Note: The cat café is on the second floor] She looks down the ground floor and
sees the flashy man with a couple of goons confronting Kira. The man tells Kira
to give him his money.

After going downstairs, Ageha thinks of
helping Kira out. She is surprised when the man says that he did it according
to what Kira said, he made a move on the leader’s granddaughter. Kira asks
what’s up with those two [guys behind him].
The man says that he got some helpers in
case Kira wants to run away. “Properly pay us with the corresponding reward for
making you look cool in front of that girl. If not, then, we’ll give you some
beating. Huh? *kicks Kira’s shoe* Hey- are you listening?”
Goon 1 laughs and says that Kira’s so
scared that he cannot talk. The man says that it cannot be helped since he
looks like a girl. While the man is laughing, Kira grabs the man’s head. Then,
he uses his knee to hit the man’s face.

After falling down, the man’s nose start
bleeding really bad. The two goons are in shock. Stepping on the man’s head,
Kira smiles and says that he knows, he knows. “Anyway, he is already useful to
him [/outlive his usefulness]. *stare menacingly while licking his lips* [So] you
can also die here right now.”
The two goons say this stinky brat. They
try to attack Kira but a couple of men-in-black hit them from behind with metal
pipes. The flashy man asks who he is. Kira pulls up his sleeve to show his
snake tattoo on his arm. Kira says that he is Hebishima-gumi’s successor,
Hebishima Kira. [Hebi = snake]
The man asks he’s yakuza? Kira says that
there’s no need to remember it particularly because anyway, they are all going
to die here. While the man whimpers, Ageha suddenly comes out of her hiding
place and shouts, stop right there!

Kira is surprised to see Ageha. She
nervously asks what he said a while ago. “Yakuza...? Hebishima...? Making a
move on me in accordance to what you said...? What’s going on...? You said that
you like me, is that...?” Kira looks at
her and smiles.
He says, “Like, huh. *sticks out tongue* You
being this stupid is really cute.” This stuns Ageha. At the Tsukijou mansion,
an underling tells Raijo that in the end, there is a huge fuss over that TV
broadcast so if something happens to Ageha...
Raigo smiles and says that it will be
alright. This puzzles his underling. Back at the alley, Ageha removes her
eyeglasses and takes off her hair ties. She angrily says, “Hebishima Kira...
*clenches fists* I absolutely won’t forgive you!” Kira just smirks.
Comment: Well, the story isn’t exactly typical. Confession and first kiss is
already done. ^^; I guess Kira would have to win her heart because of the
betrayal and his identity has been exposed.
But then, Kira’s advantage is he is her
type...well, at least when he’s nice and based on his ‘nice’ cute appearance. For
his part, it seems like an act yet was it all just an act?
So far, Kira is acting like a real yakuza.
He mentioned about killing and has no qualms beating people up. I wonder if
this will be continued later on or it will be tamed later on with the usual ‘do
not kill/harm’ yakuza-type characters. After all, this is shoujo.
Based on Ageha’s flashback, the reason she
doesn’t like yakuza is because people would start avoiding her, not really
because of the violence. I’m wondering if we will have a harem later on since
there ought to be a lot of other yakuza heads who would want to be the
successor of Tsukijou-gumi.
Though, based on the cover page, the couple
is already ‘fixed’. I’m not sure how this story will shape up later on so let’s
see how it goes. By the way, the title means ‘Unrighteous Son-in-law’. The
author is Sato Airi and serialized in Shocomi. Scans by 才不漢化组
