Free Talk: Kono Oto Tomare Chapter 90

And, Satowa dropped the ball and made Chika apologize for his perceived wrongs. Nevertheless, midway, things are patched up with an apology. And thanks to Chika’s suggestion about listening music at her house, the ball is picked up again.

Hm...right now, I’m not sure if things can be more than what it currently is. Satowa is now in the same situation as Hiro. Keeping one’s romantic feelings within oneself in order not to cause trouble in the club. I do wonder if because of that declaration, Hiro will realize that Satowa is in the same predicament as she is.

And, they will compete last among the known competitors. Natsu was casual about it but is it possible that he deliberately made Chika go alone to Satowa’s place? I’m not sure if the trio knows the implication but Takezou and Hiro seems to know. And, it is a delayed reaction for the couple.  😅

  1. I've just read the chapter, kinda did like and kinda didn't, lol. The whole SatoxChika was somewhat nice, but too dramatic with both of them putting themselves down like that, but glad that it got worked fast and opened up for the real romantic feelings that are glooming.

Now for the music part, more and more I think that if they win, it'll be really forced. They should do well, really well, especially if they manage to find their "sound", which could mean their hearts/feelings and how to communicate all to others/outsiders besides understanding themselves, but not to actually win the technical arrangements and all. A third place'd be too much in a realistic view and the most I'd be willing to accept as a reader suspending my belief, though if it's really well down I guess that change? lol

About that president, yea, let's just move on. I'm seeing a lot of opportunists like him around here. Remember what I said about new stalins and hitlers? We're seeing here already, my state gov and Rio's gov are really showing their true natures and I'm not surprised. Blockades, arresting, full control over who comes and goes, what to do, who can and can't... Don't want to say I told so, but yea...

They're extending the lockdown too, but there's no date set as of yet because they it can change anytime and over here it'd be winter soon, the allegedly most intense period of the disease, so God help us, like I said before, there's already lack of everything to the poor/not rich, it tends to get worse. And there's still people partying really hard, again, God help us all.

Yea, more than 4k prisoners were released in my state alone - not counting the +3k that escaped alongside - and the gov is only arresting people that's trying to work and taxing people that are going to store/outside trying to get food. Ironically, the lines in front of supermarkets, banks, health posts and even small stores still open are bigger than never due to the lockdown. I wonder if they are not in risk of contracting the disease, but all the others are and have to "social distance" and isolated themselves to prevent the spread....

And the summer issue is when most elderly are affected too, right? Though we don't really have heat waves here, it might happen because of the lack of everything that I've mentioned, especially now with even a more severe blackouts.
    -
Uhm, do you think they're still working or will suspend until the crisis goes down?
    -
Yea, I've heard of Nana's author too. It never really ended, right?

    1. Yup.

True. I guess it would also depend on the criteria to win. If the technicality is a smaller percent and there is more on audience impact/expression, stuff like that, they might be able to win it. I mean, in music contests, does the most difficult piece played always win?

      - - -

Yes. The little ones are appearing. Like a certain district chairman would even FB live the ones he caught and humiliate them, well, they're gays, like dance ala Tiktok, kiss, etc. They say that they only want to buy some biscuits. Some would even choose the ones whom to give the relief goods.

Oh, so instead of summer, it is winter there like in Australia. Interesting. Oh. Hm...those who are partying are ok with the govt? I have read about the one in Venezuela about a religious parade. It was a big issue here because some people confused it with a city here = VAlenzuela so they are complaining and everything at the mayor as to why it is allowed.

Hm...are the prisoners small time offenses? Not yet convicted? True, lines are quite long especially with the social distance thing. Here, they have a certain number of people inside. Like in a certain bank, only 5 clients can go in. It looked like a hospital before the lockdown. Everyone wear masks. The security guard sprays alcohol on hands for everyone who enters. It smells like lysol inside. Most banks here are already closed.

Hm....cannot really say. There's not much news about dying of heat stroke here.

      - - -

I read that they are waiting for the go-signal to work on the next one = budget. But then, aside from that, it might just be delayed because of the crisis.

      - - -

Nope. And, it was really ending soon like a few more chapters.

    2. In my experience in playing, participating in contests both as a player, judge/member of the staff, tech is the most important aspect to be pointed though some judges do have their bias/preferences like presence of stage/charisma or even music style. Though what you said is actually true, impact definitely affects on the overall score, for good or bad. In my third place setting, I was considering this aspect, of them impressing the people enough to "bypass" their technical limitation as rookies compared to the other schools.
      -
Apart from the gay and humiliation stuff, it seems to be happening all over the world, though I don't doubt people getting humiliated too.

Despite being winter, it's still pretty warm/hot. Only the most south cities/states gets around 10ºC at the coldest days/nights, some places do get colder but it's not common; And I don't honestly know, I gave up, it's like they don't care/understand the situation we're in. My own brother and sister are like that, while he's like a retard and she only cares when it's convenient, I gave up on them either. T___T

The ones that escaped weren't disclosed, but the released are said to be so. Nevertheless, they're arresting common citizens just for taking a walk, but releasing convicted criminals, makes no sense.

Same here, just like a tragic movie scene.

      Ah, well, as long as they don't pull something like the bastard here, saying that everyone who dies, dies of corona now. Even the ones that died in a traffic accident, as sad and comical this said, it actually happened;
      -
      Yea, I thought so.
      -
That's sad. Couldn't she hand over the names/manuscripts or overall story line?

      Delete
    3. I see. It makes me wonder if like what if the judges like the technical skill etc of the other school but the audience like Tokize's. Would judges be moved? Actually, that is more on what happens in televised competitions. The audience will then debate the results online like the results is 'cooked'.

      - - -

I see. Hm...what's the punishment happening there? Oh, here, I recall one even having a stick to 'spank the stubborn'.

Is that so. Here, the coldest is around 20C. Colder at the top part.

Ah, it's hard to have relatives like that.

      - - -

      Indeed, makes no sense.

Wow. But why would they do that? To make people scared so that they'll stay home?

      - - -

It must have been a serious illness that she has to totally stopped. One time there was even a side story/omake-type and I never heard anything anymore. Maybe, she wanted to be the one who'll draw it? In a way, one can just think of it as having an open-ended ending.

That is because, the series has both present and past arcs that are intertwined in the story. So, one will know what happened to the characters afterwards. What is needed is a proper closure like did the two Nanas reunited again after the other one went missing after that incident? Something like, the epilogue is missing.

      Delete
    4. It might happen but I don't know if that's the path the author would/should take; what I can see and would glady accept is something like what we're speculating: Tokize loses the competition, but wins the country's/public heart while recognizing their own shortcomings.
      -
And old lady was arrested in a rough way while some others were beaten before being arrested.

Yea, that's the normal temperature in some places, especially north/mid regions. Brazil is pretty big after all, while south it might get close to 0, it hardly gets under 20 up north. It might not even be that much far, my city sometimes gets under 15 and just the closest state like Rio'd have 30 in the same day. Pretty crazy.
      -
That's the only answer I can arrive, that and also to spread fear. After all, if 1k people die is quite bad, but not alarming, but if 1k dies of the same disease in a very short amount of time, than you already know. Even if that happens with all diseases all around the world every time.
      -
Yea, I said that but soon after I myself realized that if it were me, I too wouldn't want to simply hand over my life's work just like that. I'd, though, just in case, have at least a rough draft outlining how things should go, just in case ^^'

      Delete
    5. Ah, I see. Well, let's just wait and see then how it goes ^^

      - - -

Oh. I guess similar with what's happening here.

      Interesting.

      - - -

True. The problem you mentioned about other diseases are happening. There is news about pregnant/other illness couldn't go to the hospital because they'll only treat ncov patients.

      - - -

      Hehe, I see.

    6. I don't know why, but now I'm pretty sure one of those scenarios is going to happen. They're too plausible, that's what happens when we brainstorm and talk like that, uh? lol
      -
Yea, and over here, a lot of other causes of death already spiked, according to the numbers they themselves release, and it makes even less sense. I mean, just take me for example, I can't make my back exam nor any other type of check-up than I must do yearly. I have a friend that needs dialysis three times a week is having trouble; heart diseases and tuberculosis are rising even more than normal and unfortunately even murders spiked - remember, last year the number was about 70k...

Meanwhile, the covid death rate is less than 1% and the people that recover are more than 12%. Now tell me, how in the world does this make sense? I can't understand!
      -
Ah, did you really stop reading Shingeki? And just to mention, I took a peek at Namaiki and was raging in one chapter where that female college friend was cheering on Shizuka in order for him not to give up. I was boiling with fever and that made me overheat than I said to myself, I should've know better, I'm too stupid, lol. It wasn't the last one but oh well, don't know if should risk anymore ^^'

      Delete
    7. Haha, is that so. ^^ Well, I'm thinking that it might go with 'shounen feels' and they'll win.

      - - -

      Hmm...interesting. Murders spiked. What's the cause? Here, police are actually 'preparing to fight the virus' by practicing riots suppression. ^^;

Ah, I guess that depends on which part of the world. Here, it is more than 1% and we have, iirc, 4th in the world based on health worker deaths. Aside from lack of protection that has to be donated/home-made, patients don't tell their real background. It is usually too late when the doc realizes that the patient already has it.

Local government are on their own. The national cannot be depended on...too slow. Like certain cities are making their own labs for mass testing and the national govt tried to stop them because they lack permission. Now, a lot of people wants the secretary of health to resign. It seems to be very bad here. There is even a hospital asking for body bags.

Of course, as you mentioned, the people who died from other ailments indirectly cause by this are not counted yet. Ah, is it a total lockdown there yet? Here it is only 1/3 of the country. The other parts are based on the city if they want to or not. It is said that they cannot do the whole country since the police/military will be spread too thin.

      - - -

      Yup, not reading. Haha, I'm not reading Namaiki anymore either. ^^;

      Delete
    8. I hope not, though it is published in a shounen mag, it doesn't have that vibe.
      -
That's one helluva scary thought to have, prepare to fight the virus practicing how to beat people. That's really scary, I mean, it's happened here in SP. Thankfully not the entire country, just the biggest city of the S.A.

Strange that in a world-wide scale is also much less than 1%, I'm not saying it's low since we're dealing with people lives, but it's creepy when they go all insane with the "numbers".

About the murder spike, like I said, they're releasing criminals so that can one expect?

The situation here is about the same, but when we confront the news and the facts, there's a lot of discrepancy. Just like I said, while less than 1% of the infected die, more than 10% recover and the statics are not changing?

In my city, the dictator extended until mid may, though it can be changed after to even more, meanwhile, some other cities stopped and are back to almost normal. The biggest difference I see between our countries is that the federal are willing to help, but it can't due to financial problems and also wanting to get back on track before the whole system collapses, at least that's the reason they give, while local govs are coming off as dictators, such in my city, and promoting even more mass panic and stopping the whole thing.

Then ask for federal financial help. I wonder how since the country is broken for a long time and the local gov don't let anyone work, obviously they won't have any kind of income, and the federal depends on those. The whole system is already coming down, but they only care for political reasons - they didn't approve the project to use the money for the elections to help the crisis, build hospitals, buy masks and breathers etc. Too strange.
      -
      I can't say I don't understand you. I myself don't know why I keep reading both of'em T___T

    9. Well, just wait and see.

      - - -

Yes. People are getting really paranoid lately whenever they see more military trucks and personnel around. They are making a big deal about people who aren't obedient and keep on going out as an excuse to use force. The rumors are total lockdown as in no going out anymore in the last two weeks. The president threatened for martial law.

Well, for some reason, the recovery and death rate here is higher. I'm thinking that it is because they were not tested. There are a lot who died without being tested. There is a huge ruckus about mass testing. It was discouraged by the national government.

Some local ones are very proactive that they made their own labs and bought kits through donation. The department of health tried to monopolize the testing. One city got fed up that they don't care if it is approved or not, they'll start the testing. Then, the dept of health finally approved their 'really good' lab. Lol

Another implementation that was recalled was the social welfare department want all who solicit relief goods and all who receive the goods to get permits. Lol And recently, the checkpoints stopped a relief goods van because they are from 'leftists' aka branded as rebels to be given to fishermen who some claim to be 'rebels'.

Wow...criminals even have time to do murders at this time. Hm...are the murders related to theft, drugs or other reasons?

Ya, there are discrepancy in the stats here, too. Is the 'curve flattening' or is it because they ran out of test kits. Since everyone is in houses, people rely on news and internet...in a way, it feels surreal like, is it really happening or are they making things up.

I see. Here, at the start of the lockdown, they declared that they have the money. Later on, they got a bill to have emergency release of the money. People start to ask where it is. Much later on, there is no money. Much much later on, we need to borrow money. Lol So, where did the money go when a lot of people who were suppose to get the money didn't get it. Haha, it is stressful and depressing to read the news.

      - - -

      Hehe... ^^

      Delete
    10. That's awful and sadly is also happening here. Martial law have already been approved since mid/late january. but it hasn't been put into practice, yet.

Here too, same thing actually. The difference is that I see more people saying that the death'd be higher if they tested everyone, while others say the opposite, since there's no testing, how can we say for sure? I myself only use the numbers they disclose, but I don't trust and am of the opinion that it could be way worse or not so much.

      Politics as always, uh?

Permits? How so? How does it work there?

They don'y say. I conjectured 'cuz we see the number of murders spiked soon after criminals got released/escaped. Since I don't believe in coincidence...

Yea, it's truly a very crazy time. I never believed the media, so I tend to always crosscheck the facts with what I see myself and hear from other people. The other day people were saying that the hospitals were full, there weren't enough nurses or doctors to attend. Then, there was this vid of doctors and nurses - fully geared - dancing in a empty hospital. It was even reported on a big mag saying they found "relief to keep fighting", while in another front, nurses were out in the street to stop protesters who were against the lockdown and wanted to go back to work.

Yea, tell me about it. Lately I haven't even tried, especially from mainstream sources. It's a "good" thing that my health isn't stable so sometimes I get down sick and my eyes go worse and I can't even get close to a screen or any bright light. Got find some solace in all this misfortune T____T

      Delete
    11. Oh. Well, here, there is no declaration but it is kind of being implemented. Police are already saying that they won't warn anymore but straight arrest. Of course, we know what some abusive ones might do.

No way to be sure. Last week, mass testing should have started but we have no news of how it is done or if it is actually done. It made people say, they're doing it deliberately so that they can extend the lockdown. In a few days, it will be down if they'll do a partial lift or continue the present lockdown.

      Yup.

Permits like you fill up form and had it processed by the government then they'll get back to you when they approve it. That is what they are doing now with the relief goods. One mayor is so pissed since they even asked the beneficiaries for photocopy of documents, papers stapled, etc = those stores are closed. So, the people went out looking for an open store which defeats the purpose of the lockdown. Haha, we can only facepalm/curse over their stupidity. They are overly cautious over a family getting double share of relief especially if the family already got the other form of relief.

On our part, [other kind of relief] well, we have to fill up forms for the employees. Through phone calls, I managed to get the needed information for our employees. I mean, all the personal details that they want are in the store and we aren't allowed to go out. Then, I emailed it. It is like what, a few weeks already. There is no reply. I tried calling their number but no one answers it. And, one employee keeps on asking me where is the money. As if the lockdown isn't stressful enough. Haha, last night, I even dreamed that they are all downstairs demanding their money. 😂

And, that isn't done yet, they made another fund. I read that it is like a continuation of that other one since it supposedly don't have money anymore. So, these days, I'm refreshing almost everyday their stupid website so that I can fill up that form. It has been down since this new fund has been announced. Wow, genius.

Mind you, this site is for the pension/social security so those from other parts of the country that aren't part of the lockdown are also accessing the site. Why? Because they need to print out a form/receipt that is needed to pay for the monthly employee social security based on their schedule of payments. It can only be done through that site!

And another one, this fund has a deadline, it will end on April 30. If you didn't manage to apply, say goodbye to the money. Actually, they also have criteria on whether you can get it or not so all this hard work isn't guaranteed to have its rewards. And, they want each employees' bank account by signing through their site, the same one that is down...and now, they removed the part wherein the employees can make an account.

Haha, now that I mention all that, I think you have already experience that in some form over there.

Ah, I see...though there is indeed a connection, not exactly just a coincidence. Hm...did the police caught the culprits? It reminds me of what happened here. The president is double-faced with the communist rebels. One time, he 'loves' them and next time, he wants to 'kill' them.

In the spirit of peace talks, the govt freed a lot of big named communist rebels including murderers/major plotters. They were even sent abroad to talk. Then, after the peace talks collapsed, the govt kindly ask the ex-prisoners to can they please go back to jail. Do you think they'll do that? So, all the lives, time and energy of the soldiers used to catch them are all wasted. They have to be caught again. Ah, about the criminals that were freed there, will they come back to jail or had to be caught again?

      Delete
    12. There's a huge discrepancy there. Here, we really don't have any scenes like that. It is only reports of this number and that. There are many 'disobedient ones' and neverending govt reports which includes praising each other for how good they are and gaslighting the people. The other day, there was even crying = drama. Lol. The guy wipe his nose first before his eyes. Haha At least, we got some comedy.

Haha, I guess that is considered positive thinking ^-^

    13. Those are the most common thing to be seen in this crisis: stupidity, corruption and hypocrisy. Any other thing they try to pass on in order to implement the lockdown backfires greatly and the stupid quarantine - which isn't a true in the medical sense - fail since the number of cases just keep growing. Besides, they never tell if these new cases are from locked people or the ones that didn't lock themselves/workers that couldn't/didn't stop working;
      -
The other thing is that the govt worried of these reliefs/benefits being abused/taken advantage, but they themselves didn't stop their own huge salaries with huge benefits such as - you may laugh - suits. Yea, politicians over here get a suit benefit, our taxes pay their suits, and other stuff that I won't mention because I get really angry just thinking about.
      -
About the accessibility through phone calls or sites, it's happening here too, and I bet it's also happening in other countries "not so developed", so to speak. They say they want to eradicate hunger and poverty from the world, but all they do is actually make even worse.
      -
No they didn't. The police did caught an old lady - again - that went out. For armored men to stop a single old lady from going out.

Sir, would you be so kind as to return to your prison cell so you can be raped again? Well... only sarcasm to keep me sane in this time. ^^'

      Delete
    14. True. Here, instead of saying that there is no mass testing/contact tracing, they are largely blaming people for going out as the reason for the extension. Yes, the lockdown in this part of the country has been extended up to May 15th but lifted in some other parts.

      - - -

Ya, pretty much same same here. People here are even suggesting to get stolen money from the corrupt. That won't exactly happen since they are the allies of the government.

      - - -

      Haha, true.

      - - -

Ah. They are really going all out with the weak.

      - - -

      Haha...so, that's a no.

    15. Same over here, strange enough, smaller cities are mostly fine and have never actually stopped;
      -
      Haha, stealing from robbers, uh?

We're having a pretty big political crisis as if this epidemic wasn't enough. Soon we might have another impeachment. Everything is looking pretty bad overall, and it's not even winter, when all hell breaks loose.
      -
Ah, about the longest running mangas, Berserk got updated and it seems to finally have a end a "near" future. I put in quotes because it might be few chapters more, but taking long time to get them, as even the 7/9 chapters per year have decline to 5 or so lately.

Meanwhile, we got a waste of time chapter of Namaiki, I should really just stop myself but sometimes I can't help it. T___T

    16. I see, well, I guess smaller are easier to manage. By the way, is the govt there also promoting planting vegetables? Our Chinese neighbors had becomes instant farmer/gardeners lately. We have some soil parts in our building which is originally for decoration - hanging plants. For others, some are being sarcastic like saying, do you want us to destroy the concrete so that we can plant?

Aside from that, they are promoting lately the 'go back to the province' incentive program. Some say that it is an excuse since the govt can no longer feed them so go back to the province wherein almost everything grows - you won't go hungry.

We are having some bit of problems in checkpoints. Some are overly strict like today, I just read that they won't let the deliverer of oxygen tanks for patients. I forgot if I told you that they won't let 'physicians' pass only 'doctors' since they don't know what 'physicians' are.

      - - -

Yes. We have a lot of plunderers...unfortunately, they are currently the allies of the president so he doesn't harass them. He only harasses the opposition.

Oh...that's quite problematic. Ah, what's the complaint if ever it pushes through?

      - - -

Hm...it makes me wonder if the outbreak have something to do with it?

      Haha... 😅

      Delete
    17. Well, at least it's a good incentive. The govt itself doesn't promote anything, just says to stay indoors. The federal one is trying ever so slowly to go back to normal, but I fear there's no real normal to go back anymore. But I do condone the plant your own food. In US and some other countries, you're not allowed to do so, you risk going to prison or paying a fee if you even try growing any kind of food. Here, we're allowed, but we must pay taxes for it, I don't remember how much tho.

I do grow some stuff in my back yard, I mean, my mom does. I've been telling her for a long time, only now she saw why. My will was to be able to buy a piece of land in the country and go there, grow food and raise some animal so we could get milk at the very least. But it's hard, I was saving towards it but the crisis hit so bad that most of it is gone now and I don't think we'd ever be able to leave.

Wow, they don't know that physicians are? Like, really? And here I was thinking to myself that I had seen everything and nothing could baffle me anymore.
      -
The complaints, this time around, are nothing new and only the same: they don't like him so he must go. I myself have mine and am pretty disappointed in him since he's doing the exact same things the other president have been doing before him. All I see is that he wants to lift the lockdown and try to go back to normal, but most don't for obvious reasons so now the nation is even more divided while everything goes down the drain.
      -
Uhm, I don't think so. I mean, it's the usual pace that's been for at least 2yrs and have been alluded to for at least 10. I don't believe in coincidences but this time around it looks like that.

      Delete
    18. Is that so. Here, we don't pay any taxes for growing food...well, not that I know of, at least for personal consumption. But then, even if it is sold, taxes are not paid if it is just small time. We have a lot of informal economy here = taxes are not paid.

Ah yes, a lot of plans are wrecked by this crisis. Savings are dwindling. The problem would be for those who have no savings at all. There are even some places here that had fire. Iirc, two places caught fire around my area since I can see them from the window. Talk about bad luck.

Yes. It makes one think ah, is our education really bad. The issue was in certain hospitals, their ID has 'physician' on it instead of 'doctor'. I first heard of it at the start of the lockdown. It was only either last week or this week when the dept of health has to tell the police/enforcers in checkpoints that physicians are doctors. So, I think the situation is really bad that they have to announce it on the news. 😅

There are more news about beatings over walking around, selling, no mask, etc. Then, there is one supplier of oxygen tanks for hospitals that got barred because it is outside the curfew. They try to tell the police that the hospital called and it is urgently needed by the patient. The enforcer supposedly said, then let that person die. In the end, after a lot of phone calls, they are finally let through after an hour.

By the way, out of curiosity, if there is a crisis/calamity there, what kind of relief goods do they give out? Here, it is usually a bag of rice, canned sardines, instant noodles. That's the bare minimum...but there is always rice, the staple food here.

I see. That can be problematic if not resolved. Hm...if they want him removed, they have a better replacement in mind, right? Or, they just remove and who cares who the replacement is?

      - - -

I see. I'm imagining that savings are dwindling so take this opportunity to write more especially due to the lockdown.

    19. That's curious, any other place I know there's a ban/no incentive at all to go back to provinces/grow their food. At least, as bad as it is there, that's a somewhat good/reasonable thing.

My impression, seeing how the economy is all going down and being destroyed, is that they - the govt in general - want to exterminate those other forms of commerce so they can control everything. Which is quite the scary thought because it ties up with the biblical prophecy, so my eyes are wide open and I'm also being called a crazy fanatic ^^'

That's really sad, I mean, I don't think they'd know the difference since they don't even know that a physician is?
      -
Yea, here too. We see that all too often, in some cities there are even drones flying around to "notify" the people. Meanwhile, violent crimes like murders, assault and recently domestic violence are rising up like never before. Are these drones and the police force put to "monitor" any other activity or even the criminal? No, of course not.
      -
None. They give out nothing. But to be honest, when - and that's really, really rare - they give something like a food stamp. A really basic grocery which, as you said, rice is the main food/ingredient. And beans. Again, it's really rare for that to happen, private companies - most of them in partnership with the govt - normally comes out and give these to the affected families.
      -
It's always the vice that assumes. If they can't, then it's the other congressmen presidents, like senators etc. Which, by the way, are all corrupt, dirty people with suspected ties with criminal people. The vice is not, but it's someone that's really eager in a very bad sense of the word. And he has ties and great affinity with china, which, at this point, is like the owner of brazil, so to speak.
      -
Uhm, I didn't know. I mean, after reading the last Berserk chapter, the author left a msg saying that life didn't really changed because mangakas are shut ins anyway, lol. The editor staff must have changed somewhat, I could see that, but haven't read anything related.

    20. True.

What are 'other forms of commerce'? I'm actually thinking of that for some time. ^^; Regarding commerce, the govt here wants to open up Chinese online gambling that caters to people in China and employees Chinese. It is technically illegal in China. The spokesperson made a slip that it is for the 'earnings' for the president. Lol. Anyway, that is the belief of most people since they are untouchable.

      Yup, true. They don't know.

      - - -

Hm...notify like it has a speaker? Sounds bad there. Here, the police are happily announcing the drop of crimes though selling drugs are still there...and I think cybersex crimes involving children. The ones arrested are those who go against the lockdown. The recent one is a feeding kitchen for the poor...they arrested everyone for illegal assembly.

      - - -

I see. So, they give rice and beans? Hehe, I'm just wondering what kind of relief goods are given. I don't know what is given in other countries though I assume that it is money. Most people aren't inclined to give money here since it might be used for other things especially vices.

Ah, most officials giving aren't to be trusted either. If it is money, they deduct the original money donated/given and put it in their pockets. If it is goods from other countries, they replace the imported ones to local ones. Hehe. If really unscrupulous, they sell the donated imported goods in the black market.

      - - -

Oh. Hm...is the vice from the opposition? Well, the news here from your country is people are going out/work as encouraged by the president due to the economy. Ah, China problems there, too? Iirc, the one you mentioned before was regarding the Amazon forest.

      - - -

      Haha, I see.

    21. Yea, all informal commerce that deals with any other kind of transaction besides credit card/online, since money/cash can't be traced, for now.

Imagine not being able to buy a homemade cake/bread that your neighbor makes, but instead, being forced to buy whatever the govt tells/sells? I'd be in deep trouble myself, seeing how I know how the food the govt make for kids are mostly bad in most places; there are exceptions, ofc, but most places are dirty and bad, very, very bad. To the point that I'd rather starve than eat that they serve. I got lucky that most of the places I had to work had good cooks that cared, but others...
      -
Yes, exactly. And for now, feeding kitchen are still allowed, but only the ones tied with the govt, like churches. I know they shouldn't be, but most are.
      -
Rarely, like I said. Ah, those things tend to happen here, too. It really gets my blood boiling.
      -
No, they form an alliance with different parties before the elections, so when you're voting to someone, you're actually voting for the vice and all the alliance too.

Yes, we always had china problems here. Used to be much worse since all previous admins were pro china due to similar ideologies. This one right should be opposed, but it's not. Well, the news are only half correct because while the president says one thing, govs do the other and most the cities are still in deep lockdowns with very, very little working/functioning.

      Delete
    22. I see. Hm...so you mean the food that can make you sick?

      - - -

I see. Here, even churches are not allowed. Only govt-related ones.

      - - -

Ah...so basically, they are from the same bunch.

      - - -

      I see.

      - - -

To lighten up the mood, here are some ridiculous stuff from people regarding the cure.
      1. ex-spokesperson = eat bananas. Because of that, we had a shortage of bananas and the prices went up.
      2. dept health sec = gargle with salt
      3. president = get the virus and slowly inject it to a horse so that there will be antibodies for a cure.
      4. dept of foreign affairs sec = soap kills the virus so we should eat soap. Old remedy by old folk like wash mouth with soap.
      5. some doctor = drink semen. People joke...whose semen?

As I mentioned that they are raring to have martial law here so the latest excuse, you know, we are under invasion...from the virus so we should have martial law. So, aside from the stressful things that these people do, we get some laughs...or perhaps, we should cry over how 'smart' they are.

    23. Yes. There's no way to tell what would be put into it. And well, most of plants are already modified, I've read they're planning to do so with fruits too. We all know that organic is much better than transgenic, in all kinds of senses.
      -
      That's bad, but then again, churches shouldn't be involved/tied with govts;
      -
Yea, I mean, wow, lol. I laughed but I wanted to cry? It doesn't feel real, right? And I bet they said that with full intent, and not in a jokingly manner...

      Here, my friend sent me a picture of how the govt are treating the sick: like we said before, stealing money that should buy masks and other equipment are fake. The note with the address is actually a house near where she lives;

      Delete
    24. I see.

      - - -

Ya, they were serious when they mentioned it. Lol, if there is a backlash, they'll just say that it was a joke. And given our quality of education, who knows there might be people who actually believed that...at least I can say that people did believe in the bananas.

What exactly is a fake equipment? Like it is a toy or poor quality? House...so those who are sick stay in the house? Here, I think the sop is:
if no symptoms but positive = politician, etc...stay at home,
if has symptoms, go to quarantine facility. Huge place turned into hospital.
if really bad symptoms = go to the hospital,
if poor, well, if you're unlucky/no connections, you're on your own.

      Hm...but then, thinking about it, that's pretty much the same even if there is no pandemic. ^^;

      Delete
    25. Not only poor quality equipment but also overpriced.

No, no, the house I mentioned was a fake lab, a facade.

      https://postimg.cc/DmxWMFF1

This is the order from the prefecture to buy overpriced cleaning alcohol.

      https://postimg.cc/k2mdN6Zs

And this is the lab it was supposed to come from. A normal house that just so happens to be near my friend's.

But yea, normally sick people stay in the house, if their symptoms are not that bad. If they're too severe, they get admitted into the hospital, but otherwise, they stay home for two weeks - before even getting tested. So, in some places, if you happens to die in that time, they either put into the virus statistics, or into unknown cause.

Only big hospitals on big cities are testing people.

The same happens here, like I said, I guess that's normal for poor countries and poor people?
      -
Ah, I just read KoT 91, I liked very much and really liked how they got the "sound in between".

      Delete
    26. Ah, I see. For now, here, we know it is overpriced. I'm not sure about the quality yet since no one is complaining...yet. I heard that we still have to 'pick it up' from China. Lol, delivery charge is not included in the price.

Ah...that kind of houses...here, it is also a fake lab...for drugs. It is a problem for some landlords because if you didn't know what's going on there, be prepared to be sued along with the suspects. Ah, that is if they are also caught. Those people can usually pay/bribe in order to be free.

I see. It's pretty much the same.

Anyway, we are currently waiting for news about the lifting next week. The cases are still high. The graph is a plateau. But I guess they won't want/have no more aids to give. They are now saying, the poor has good germs resistance/hot weather can kill the virus so ya, they can now go to work. We're ready for the consequences of lifting the lockdown.

Lol, what do you think? It made some people angry since the poor are going to be the guinea pigs and there might be a second wave. And one of the senator who proposed that said, by the way, she ain't going to the senate...she'll just go teleconferencing because she doesn't want to get sick.

      - - -

Just read it. It's good though I have some questions about that...like weren't they already doing that before?

  2. the thing is I'm starting to think natsu already knew specially after the flower day and his reaction that day but it actually surprised me that he suggested kudo go alone there somehow i thought he didn't care to get involved in things like this (i understand when he interfered in the mitsu situation since it was club related, but this one is more romance related) so that was interesting at least he is also changing.

indeed i think hiro has always suspected but i guess she did get a conformation now since it really reminded her of her self , it will be nice for both of them to have a talk but i doubt sotawa will initiate that talk and i doubt they will progress in that talk unless hiro comes first and tells her about her feeling to kurata,

the trio i'm actually confused they had this strange reaction about chika going to satowa's home that i don't know if it's them being them or if they know something
i like how natsu and sensei don't even care about the order lol

    1. Yes, most likely. Yup.

True. It makes me wonder if the confession/realization will happen before or after the Nationals. If it is before, there might be an opportunity soon for both girls to talk about this...though they both consider it as a distraction.

Yes, I find it somewhat odd. Do they know something?

Hehe, yes, they're somehow similar in some ways. ^^

  3. It was a cute chapter. I do think Natsu kind of knew what he was doing. Perhaps the couple's relationship cannot advance, but I am wondering if starting a relationship and letting their feelings of "love" blossom will actually enhance their performance and help them find their "charm" (or at the very least for Satowa anyway... she already has great technical skill, so this might add a new element to her playing?).

    1. Hehe, is that so ^^

I'm also thinking along that line and perhaps, in Hiro's case, she would realize why Suzuka isn't actually forbidding it or anything.

  4. Hiya,

I was quite disappointed when I saw how it turned out. ^^''
Because Hiro remembered what Sakura told her, I think she connected the dots. Girl talk soon ? Hopefully. I find it a bit sad for Satowa to not know what to do with what she feels.

In the group, Natsu is the only one who actually has got some love life. I would think that he supposes more or less what is happening, but doesn't quite do it on purpose. Even though he seems to be the kind of person who understands well a situation with very few information. He would have been troublesome for him to go over there with the rest of the group, so he just found a solution to avoid that.

Following the previous comment regarding if they can win or not. I think that they can.
At the minute, in the group they have : 3 people with exceptional gifts (Satowa, Chika and Natsu), and the rest is "average +" each of them with their own strengths. Like Sane's ability to link everybody's sound together. In addition to that, when you look at the support team they have, it's like the best ever - only geniuses.

As mentioned in the regional, it's not only technicality which is looked at or the sound of the music and the feelings put in it, but how a group can actually promote the music to a wider public who is not aware of koto. Reason why they went to the mall to train. Also, even Ichiei's sensei doesn't think that it will be as easy as usual to win.

Worse case scenario there will be a tie. ah ah

      Yes.

Good point. I guess it would depend on what the judge goal would be.
