Blue Glass [Chapter 33]

Choedal exclaims to frightened Saga that she obviously already ran away from the palace yet how come she’s here?! “I’m asking you how come you’re here!!” The soldiers overheard Choedal’s shouting that they wondered what happened. “Who is that girl?”

Saga starts to back away when Choedal asks, “Was it the Third [prince] who send you over here? *Saga looks surprised that she looks at her brother* It turns out to be like that!

...You people are keeping me in the dark while doing some kind of thing, right?! If not, then how come you, who have already run away, would appear in front of me!! Quickly speak up! What did the Third ask you to do? In the end, what kind of intention...”
Saga shouts, You’re wrong! “Unexpectedly saying ‘you people’? It is absolutely not like that! *trembling* I only have a request... I hope that eldest brother can listen to my request for a while.”

Choedal is puzzled. The soldiers whisper among themselves.
“Eldest brother?”
“Ah! Could it be?”
“What is doing on?”
Saga takes out the letter from her robe and holds it up to Choedal.

She says that she came to offer a suggestion. “Eldest brother, your soldiers are currently bullying the commoners. Please, I ask of you to make the soldiers stop as soon as possible. Also, I beg you...to listen to their sorrow to make them...”
Choedal suddenly grabs Saga’s collar causing her to drop the letter. He shouts, “You girl! What is your intention? Don’t tell me some useless things to answer me since I know clearly that you are the Third’s puppet.”

Flustered Saga calls out, eldest brother... This made Choedal’s expression to soften a bit that he let go of her. Choedal shouts, “Dirty, treacherous people! Quickly speak up! Why did that person brought you here?”

Saga asks, “Why... how come you are always angry? How come no one would listen to what I say?” Choedal shouts that she’s noisy to death! “Quickly answer my question...”
They were surprised when Saga shouts, “I already said that I’m not! I wasn’t ordered by someone to go out from the palace! I myself really hated that place so I ran away!

*Choedal shouts, you girl!* Of all the people, eldest brother ought to clearly know the reason why I ran away! If I continue to stay there, I’ll also--!! *looks at Choedal* I’ll also definitely become like sister who died while being unfairly treated [/falsely accused]!”

Choedal shouts, “You shut up! You, you... you are a woman, what do you know!” Saga shouts, “I know! Wrong, I should say that everyone knew! The reason why sister died! It is because king the father and brothers faked [/forged]...”
Choedal slaps Saga hard that causes her lips to bleed. Saga turns to look back at her brother who says, “I dare you to try mentioning that again. If that happens again, I’ll definitely tear that presumptuous mouth into pieces.”

Saga imagines smirking Choegeum [third] beside furious Choedal. Saga slightly cowers over her two towering brothers. Then, she looks at the letter on the ground. She quickly runs away. This surprised Choedal. He shouts for the soldiers to quickly grab her and absolutely don’t let her escape!

Saga runs as fast as she can. The soldiers were surprised over some shouting. Pointing at the people at the gate, a solider informs Choedal to quickly leave this place since the people are gathering to come over here! Choedal asks what’s going on here.
The soldier explains that the people had come over to inform him about the plundering of the village for the funeral’s offerings. Choedal shouts curses, arrest all of them! The soldier shouts that there are too many people. The soldiers are trying to stop the villagers from going inside.

Choedal sees fleeing Saga. He shouts for the soldiers to quickly capture the princess first. The soldiers say yes! Choedal is surprised when the villagers call out, “The prince is over there! Prince! Prince! Please listen to what we’ll say!” They dash towards Choedal as his men tried to stop the people.

From a balcony above, MuRyur watches in amusement. “The spectators [/audience] had increased a lot. Ah, it’s alright.” While rushing against the people going in, Saga thinks that Mino is here somewhere! “Mino, where are you?!!!”
Elsewhere, Jamalta hears some screams. He thinks that it is from the prince’s residence. “Dang, am I already late?” As he rushes to the place, someone calls out, “Isn’t that Jamalta?” Jamalta stops and turns to look behind him. He sees two Malgal people.

Malgal 1 asks how come Jamalta is here. “We are in charge of looking after this place.” Malgal 2 asks if he got a new order. Jamalta stutters as he is at a loss over what to say. Malgal 1 asks what’s with Jamalta’s clothes and is he in a secret mission? “Whom are you with?”

Jamalta is distracted by a scream. He tells the two that there is something that he has to resolve first so he’ll explain things to them later. As Jamalta runs off, Malgal 1 wonders if Jamalta is probably running away, and that is what he wanted to ask him. Malgal 2 says that they’ll first tell it to their leader.
While running, Jamalta bites his lips and wonders what the hell he is doing. “If I do not properly explain things to them, I will definitely be pursued. If the pursuit has started, he [Machanyuta] definitely won’t listen to any explanation.”

He recalls Machanyuta saying, “You say that you don’t plan on running away? That kind of thing is from judging how I see your actions but what I mean is, I’m not at all waiting for you to run away.”

Jamalta thinks that if it really become like that, then it is better for him to escape all by himself. “Anyway, all of this is quite tiring. Must I do it up to this degree? Yes, give it up. Anyway, being responsible for something doesn’t suit me even for a little bit.”
He looks up to see Saga clinging on the wall as she is walking the opposite direction of where the people are going. Someone bumps Saga and she falls down. She stands up again as she keeps on walking.

Jamalta recalls her crying before [when he took her hostage] asking him to let her go because she definitely has to find Mino who is waiting for her. He also recalls how Saga held ill Mino and apologized to him. Jamalta starts walking.

Saga looks around and bumps into someone. She looks up to see Jamalta who asks, “Are you looking for that person again?” Tears start to form on her eyes. She nods vigorously. A soldier shouts, “Pri...princess...” Jamalta punches the soldier in the face.
Saga clings on to Jamalta who remembers the them when they first met...how she clung on him on that rainy day. He starts to touch her but stops midway. He tells her that they go look for Mino together.

The soldier shouts you dare attack a soldier... And, someone punches his head at the back causing him to collapse. Saga looks and sees that it is Mokmok who came with his troupe. Mokmok says that it is great that she is alright. Someone mentions about her [short] hair.

Twin ponytails says that this time, they came to help. Jamalta frowns while Saga smiles. She asks if everyone has escaped. Mokmok sheepishly says that rather than say they’ve escaped, it is most likely, they are let out. Saga exclaims that’s great. Mokmok asks how come she is here.
Just when Saga is about to tell him, Ryusu exclaims, “Heavens, what, what is that?!” Saga looks up. She looks surprised as everyone is looking at a masked white-skinned person with drawings on his body. He is holding a burning cloth like a torch until it is all burned up. This perks MuRyur up.

He excitedly says that it is that boy. “I’m waiting for him to appear...” Masked man nervously says that it is the mask used during funerals. “It looks like he has look over the warehouse.”

Choedal’s servant asks what is that thing. Trembling Choedal asks if they can see that bizarre thing. The people are saying, “All of its body is white. Is it a ghost?”
“No, it isn’t.”
“It’s...it’s god, he...is a god who has descended.”
Mino removes his coat and points forward. Saga covers her mouth and is in tears. Mino shouts, “Quickly look for the red firebird! That is where the shameful and evil things have piled up together.”

The people started wondering what he meant by that.
“Let’s first look for it!”
“Red firebird!”
“Go to the place where he is pointing! Quickly light up a light! Here...it’s here!!”
They find a warehouse with a red bird drawn on its door. The people shouts to open the door. The people look inside. MuRyur looks surprised. The people asks what are these!?

They find all sorts of bundled things that has a seal in the warehouse. They say, “...it is the funeral offering with the royal sign... These are the stolen funeral offerings!” MuRyur looks stunned as Mino removes his mask and slightly smiles.
Comment: Saga did her best while facing off with her brother. Unfortunately, he is too emotional and paranoid about the third prince. But then, he should be. ^^; I guess he never realized or refuse to see that Saga isn’t a willing pawn of the third prince.

In the end, Saga’s fear and trauma over the third prince got over her and she ran away. I’m curious though what’s written in that letter. Anyway, it is good timing since the people are already congregating in the area to plead with Choedal regarding how the soldiers are treating them.

Jamalta is also in a pinch. Even if he claims that he doesn’t want to be responsible and everything, in the end, he’ll do what is right as his conscience dictates. It would be indeed trouble later on with Machanyuta if he misunderstands the reason for Jamalta’s actions.

Hm...though I think Machanyuta will be forgiving if he knew that it is related to Saga since she is the princess and the prophecy about the woman captivating Jamalta. He did tease Jamalta about it before. I think Jamalta had a tinge of jealousy over how engrossed Saga is for Mino. But then, ya, he cannot help it, he just has to help her out.

And of course, the star of the chapter is Mino. That was totally cool that he pretty much stole the show. He used his looks to captivate everyone. And, he made MuRyur’s plan go awry. Since the offerings are found, there’s no need to plunder from the people.

And, during such funerals, the people would also benefit as the rich/royals share their wealth like in Nan’s funeral. I think the people would close their eyes about what had happened earlier and lives go as it was before.

This is the last Chinese scanlation available. There has been no update since Jan 2018. I actually preferred to end the summaries at a hopeful note after Saga cut her hair. Here, it is such an exciting climax and it’s quite frustrating that there’s no continuation.

Oh well, at least, in this chapter, the good guys are on top rather than always at the losing end. Now, the Korean manhwa itself seems to have also stopped. It is currently at chapter 49 but also stopped in 2018. I don’t know what happened if it will still be continued or not. Or, it ended at chapter 49 which seems unlikely.

Nevertheless, if you want to take a peek of a small pic preview per chapter, it can be found here. [https://www.mcomics.co.kr/contents?idx=1845] I guess the English scanlation will continue this so let’s just wait for them to finish up to 49.

Thank you all for reading my summaries for this series. It is really such a beautiful series especially the art. Unfortunately, the Chinese scanlation seems to have quit and the manhwa seems to have ‘ended’/stopped. Scans by 水神汉化组
