Since Shou's dad is nothing like him, I wonder what's sis future husband would be like. Will the mangaka go with the comedy as someone unexpected again? Or as contrast, a totally normal guy? ^^
Thinking about it, there's something off about Yuki's overreaction regarding how the father would react over that low grade. Shou already mentioned that his father doesn't think he's good in Chinese and should give up. How come she thinks that he will blame her for that. 🤔
He obviously didn't know how to greet her and failed miserably. How come she thinks that it is because he is disappointed in her. Well, perhaps, it's because of her confidence issue. Or being overly conscious about making a good first impression. 😅
It's amusing that that Usami knew what they'll be doing the moment she leaves. And, Shou knows that she isn't really going to the bathroom. 😉
And, the mother actually have something else to say, yes? Shou's birthday? Birthday gift? His own place? ^^

I was rereading the manga since 103 got long time to release. So reading 102 again, I thought doesn’t it seem like Suwa’s words to Usami make him gay? 🤣 He likes spending time; going to eat, watching movies BUT having sex no, he didn't really have/done it out of desire, I mean for me that’s an 🚨 signal right there, Hahahaha. If he’s not gay he’s at least bi, haha. That thing was confusing, I know he has abandonment issues but I think she’s (Miyuki) taking them too far like I think yes it would affect his relationships but it should be a pattern and I don’t see that, so either he does or he doesn’t but it can’t be both.

About Yuki's reaction over Shou's grad, I think it was because, when Shou told her “i wonder what dad would say if he saw this..” , she thought he's a strict father, she even asked (worried) “will yell at you”. And also because she is Yuki, haha, she overreacting and overthinking everything, haha.
I think it's natural for Yuki to think the dad is disappointed in her. Especially after his reaction. (And because of her confidence issue as you mentioned, of course). But Actually I found it a bit rude how reacted 😅 like, when he thought usami is Yuki, she greeted her normally, but when Shou corrected him it was Yuki, he just got out like that!

OMG, couldn't believe! she's so nice. 😭

So, the first arc was a misunderstanding so I didn't get disappointed on Shou (well, it was more like Yukis's fault, haha) , chapter 50 quarrel too, actually Shou didn't mean anything wrong. Tbh, I remember I found it cute that time, hehe. But in chapter 79 quarrel I got upset, and disappointed on Shou, I understood his situation but he shouldn't behave like that. Oh well 😅 ;; Hm, maybe I think highly of him, I mean since he's the one after her, the one chases after her, when he gets angry on her or something I'd be disappointed, compared to the other male leads, where they treat the girl badly/ignore, so I don't expect too much from them haha.

DeleteAh, I think it was a scene where the girl gave him Choco for Vday and he pushed it away. I got mad of his behavior, But waited or expected that he'd obviously apologise but he didn't. It's like he's not even aware that he hurt her and needs to be sorry. Think if one love you would they be like that? I don't think so. And not just that time, but many/Every time he won't apologies.

I mean like they're always grumbling and don't like going on dates, love stuff, chasing after her, etc (like oukami shoujo, the guy was always mad and annoyed over everything and always her who initiates, you remember?) it's ridiculous! being macho isn't manly or cool, it's just childishness and weakness.
Now that I think about it I liked this Manga, it was the only one with Namaikizakari that I followed regularly sometime ago but I couldn't keep up with it, with how he acts with her and how she acts. At first I thought he'd be the one chasing after her kind of Manga but it turned to be her, and she confessed first and asked him to go out with her, I really didn't like it. Also I felt like she changed, when she fell for him she became weak and depressed, I don't know. Well, she wasn't strong-independent girl type in first place, but like she was trying/pretending. But since she liked him she insulted herself too much, and why? because she loves him. I don't like that.
Yuki isn'tlike/doesn't gives me that frustrating feeling that's why I like it. :)
Nah, they didn't. Haha, Shou wanted to, as well celebrating her birthday but Yuki refused cause he was a 3rd year/don't have time, if you remember. it's on chapter 68. So I would like it if there will be a chapter where they celebrate it. 😚

Basically, the direction is dragging out a misunderstanding so no romantic-implied scenes anytime soon. It is assumed that it will probably focus on the career first before romance. No, the English scan isn't drop. They are just working on it based on the volumes. I get it from the Chinese scans = magazine so it is only around 4 chapters ahead. Volumes are more complete with omakes.

ReplyDeleteAs such, I wanted to be able to support the mangaka as well, just to show her a little bit of appreciation, but I was amazed there's no English release for Namaiki. So I went with the Japanese versions. My husband helped me a lot since I'm not really good in shopping online, haha.
And you know, Following such mind-blowingly good manga when it's ongoing is a test of character for me, but I feel I will be weeping tears of joy every twice a month now... :D.
This is really a FREAKING GODMODE SHOUJO!~ It's really hard for me to get new favourites for manga, especially in shoujo, but Mitsubachi-sensei is a goddess to get all of it down perfectly! This series is just too perfect. This kind of shoujo mangas usually follows through only the duration of the characters in high school. But this one goes beyond. Soooo very few of them do this that the moment this end d up being the case, I was in love. I bsolutely adore these two. And I love how human and fast paced it is, in a sense.

Hakamada is some kind of selfish, forcing his feelings into Yuki. Even Suwa-san after being rejected he respected Yuki's decision. Hakamada is just quite forceful and doesn't respect her.
you know I can see he has a crush on Yuki but I don't feel anything special at all. And I don't recognise him as Shou's rival. I think until now he's envious everything about Shou.
This may sound mean but he's the one who doesn't really change, i mean everything he worked up for was completely self gratification cause he keeps chasing up for Shou.

Which is became her jackpot, hahaha, The story already has more than 100 chapters/so popular.

To be honest, those recent chapters were meh for me and if they'd be repeated I’ll probably drop it. I used to look forward to every release, but now, meh... DeleteRather than "the issues being the same as before" I would say it's like real life/situations, realistic. Plus, we never got a focus/plot on Shou's Family. and there are 3 new characters. I think it's on level.
Well, he's Shou's grandpa, he met Yuki but they didn't know each other, and Yuki had her heart beat for him and blush, then she realized and said "i haven't felt this way since the time grandma was alive" so he reminded her of her grandma that's why. And also because he resembles Shou.
He's a very nice grandpa, he gave Yuki a good advice that made her be honest with Shou later and they had a very sweet unusual moment, haha 💕

And we got to know Shou's mom name, “Yuri” 🤣🤣

I think she is contradicting sometimes, so I wonder if Miyuki hasn’t decided yet on her personality. Like, Saying she loves Shou but not showing it. Giving her best in everything except her relationships (Not just with Shou but also with her family for example) , passionate then a wall, confident and then a coward, hot and then cold.., So she’s very complex. Not here but not exactly there either.
She sure is a lot to handle, I’m not sure anyone else would handle it like Shou does.
Ah, you see, I was thinking that maybe in terms of income the Naruse and Machida family might be the same, cause the Machida have 6 children while the Naruse have only 2 so that’s the balance. Cause i thought that The Naruse family seems richer but they spend less I think. And also the mother and father seem pretty normal not super sophisticated rich people. So why does he have to do everything? Ok, he has a forward personality, but why must he always support and understand her, why doesn’t she understand him too? Why it's so obvious to him to create distance with girls but it's impossible to her? Ah, like both of them fell for each other because of oneself, I mean their soul, their personality, their character, their deep and self qualities, not because of shallow reasons. Yuki fell for Shou after she knew him well and liked his personality/real self, and so did him. ☺️ And I was partly comparing them to Usami and Suwa, You see how Usami wanted to befriend Sowa just because he’s good looking, and she fell for him quickly even though he didn’t treat her in a special way like Shou did with Yuki.

I love how Shou is indifferent to anyone and doesn’t care to be judged, I respect that. :) Also, he’s modest, and doesn’t realize how popular he is 😂 It’s good that Yuki at least realizes but knowing him she doesn’t concern herself about it too much. I like how she calls him “human magnet” 😂
And I think it’s really cute how he likes it when she calls him idiot, or doesn’t mind when she hits him 😂
