Kono Oto Tomare [Chapter 72 - Stationary Front]

Sitting outside, Natsu doesn’t feel like going back inside. Suzuka comes out and calls out to him. He smiles asks how’s the first training, going smoothly? After looking at him, Natsu sighs and comments that his personality is really terrible. Suzuka says, is that so.

Natsu tells him that honestly speaking, he basically feels that this won’t work at all. “The alternating four musicians’ performance is depending on some who couldn’t play it out...

...Spending a lot of time practicing might perhaps enable them to play it but it is impossible when it takes a long time to practice just one bar of music. It would be more efficient to change the 8 bar musician [<- Kouta/Atsumu?]”
Suzuka smiles and says, is that so. “I understand then let’s change it. *Natsu looks surprised* If at the end of the training, your opinion hasn’t changed then, let’s switch [the musician/s]. Wait until the last day, then I’ll listen to your opinion again.” Suzuka goes back inside.

Natsu wonders what was that about. He recalls Chika saying that Suzuka thinks that they can play it well. Natsu mutters that from how he sees it, Suzuka arranged it as he pleases. Natsu goes back in to see the other three playing.

Then, Chika looks irked and exclaims, ah-wrong. Kouta asks if it is wrong. Chika says that it should be, it always feels sad somewhere... He thinks that he knows that it is wrong. “But was it Kouta who played fast just now? Or was it Yoshinaga? *scowls* Or I played it wrong?”
Natsu asks them what they are doing. Kouta welcomes him back. He tells him that just now they are practicing that part by themselves. Chika says, afterwards, they discovered something. “Depending on ourselves, we totally don’t know which part we played right and which part we played wrong...”

Recalling their serene expressions, Natsu comments that their expressions look so cool yet they are saying that... Chika curses and says that like this, they basically have no way of practicing properly. Kouta cries out for Akira to come back.

Natsu goes back to his place and says that just now, at that fourth beat part, the fifth koto [Kouta] is being drawn away by the fourth koto [Chika] so he even played the eighth rest. “From there on, it started to go wrong.” They look surprised at him. Chika asks how did he know.
After sitting down, Natsu says that it is nothing. “If it is simply tempo, then I’m still able to-- *notices Chika and Kouta starting at him* ...ah-- *smiles* Sorry, am I being too arrogant...” Kouta suddenly holds his hand tightly. Together with happy Atsumu, Kouta tearfully exclaims, “Savior!!!”

Scowling Chika exclaims, what, if he knows then say it earlier! “If we made a mistake then tell us!” After a pause, Natsu asks if he thinks that is alright. Chika angrily asks how can it be alright. “It simply sucks to death that you are taking the lead even if you have just started learning!!!

...I know that much. But, compared to that kind of thing, it irks me more that [we/I] can’t play it well and it is always a waste of time [to be like this]. *points at Natsu* But, you’re not allow to use too technical terms! We’ll trouble you in explaining things to make it a bit understandable!” After a pause, Natsu says, ...okay.
Somewhere else, after Michi played, Akira asks him to play louder. “With that, your sound will be covered up by Adachi’s...” Michi exclaims in disbelief since he is already playing very loudly.

While playing a bit, Michi says that he isn’t weak but how can he use his strength in playing koto. “Darn, I couldn’t play it out.” Sane asks if he’ll play it a bit softly so that the sound would be more balanced-- Michi exclaims for him not to do that!! “Until the official performance, I’ll do my best to play it!!”

After looking surprised, Sane smiles and says, okay! Akira tells Michi that it is absolutely no problem as long as he can skillfully control his strength. “Gambatte!!” Sane exclaims that generally, just pull out his manliness! Michi exclaims, okay!
At another side, Takezou and Hiro are practicing. After playing a wrong note, Hiro exclaims that she made a mistake again, sorry!! Takezou says that he also played wrong, sorry. “The fingering here is so difficult.” Hiro exclaims the pressed sound, too! [<- pressing the strings?] “I couldn’t play it well. I must practice it.”

Takezou tells her that they play it one more time. Hiro says okay. Hiro thinks that the melody is really beautiful when her and Takezou as well as Satowa and Chika’s parts blend together... “I absolutely do not want to play a single wrong note!!”

She tells Takezou that they start from the top! Takezou says okay. Akira passes by Satowa and asks if there is anywhere she has a problem with. Satowa says that it feels that it is very difficult to play the sound that she wants. Sitting down, Akira says, ‘she wants...’, is that so.
Satowa tells her that it is really difficult to play that kind of ‘merely depending on one sound [/tone], it can completely change the mood’. Akira slightly sweatdrops and says at that time, Satowa’s sound thoroughly defeated her. Flustered Satowa is at a loss over what to say.

Akira giggles and apologizes over her little prank. “You want to be able to PLAY OUT THAT KIND OF SOUND AS YOU WISH, right.” Surprised Satowa exclaims, yes..! Akira says, of course, it isn’t easy but she believes that Satowa can definitely do it. “Let us practice from the start.” Satowa say, okay!

Looking at the two, Michi comments that it feels that the conversation over there is in some other dimension... Sane says that they first do their best in playing well the goal in front of them.
Using a cellphone as a metronome, Chika and others are practicing. Natsu tells Kouta that this isn’t the time when he should join in, Atsumu’s glissando is played too early and Chika shouldn’t force himself to match with the others and just do it according to the beat.

The two apologizes while Chika curses. Natsu tells Kouta that after the glissando, he always plays that note slow. Kouta apologizes and exclaims, one more time!! Natsu shouts to Atsumu that his tempo is too fast!! Atsumu apologizes and says that he’ll trouble him, one more time!

Looking frustrated, Natsu mentally curses them jerks for totally not playing the sound that he wanted. As they shout ‘one more time’ to him, Natsu thinks that they obviously couldn’t play it well but where do they get that physical strength. “I’m getting really tired since I’m putting my attention in this whole group. *Atsumu made a mistake* So, I’ve said, DO NOT PLAY THERE!!!”
Everyone is startled when Natsu plucked his string too strong. Kouta nervously calls out to Natsu. After snapping out of it, Natsu smiles at them and apologizes for playing that a bit too strong. Atsumu says that startled him and he’s quite strong. Natsu apologizes.

Chika notices something. Kouta is puzzled when Chika suddenly stands up and goes to the other room to ask Michi to give him an adhesive bandage. Kouta asks if Chika is injured... Then, he notices something. He screams that Natsu’s finger is bleeding. Atsumu also screams.

Looking at his hand, Natsu says that this isn’t much and it is simply a bit of crack on his nail. Aghast Atsumu protests that it looks quite painful. After Chika thanks Michi for the bandage, he pulls Natsu’s hand to him and tries to put the bandage on his finger.
Natsu says no, he’ll do it himself. Chika tells him to quit being noisy. Natsu felt that it hurts since Chika is holding him tightly. Then, he notices that the bandage has a picture of a female rabbit mascot. Michi timidly says that is given to him by his younger sister. Natsu is speechless.

Scratching his head, Chika apologizes for their practice being a bit wild. Kouta looks surprised as he looks at Natsu who isn’t reacting. They were interrupted by Isaki who calls out to them that lunch is ready so get ready to eat.

She is all sparkling and everything. Behind her, Suzuka looks gloomy and exhausted. Sane and Michi scream in excitement over this. Takezou tells them to move their instruments over to this side of the room. Atsumu notices Natsu carrying his instrument.

Atsumu quickly offers to move it for him because his finger... Carrying up the instrument, Natsu smiles and says there’s no need, it is really okay. Atsumu apologizes to him because he always wasn’t able to play well.
While Chika and Kouta watches them, Natsu smiles. He thinks that it is really annoying. He tells Atsumu that even if he were to say that to him, but he [Natsu] also... Atsumu says no, but he’ll definitely be able to practice until he can play it well. Natsu looks at him.

There is an awkward pause. Atsumu repeats that he’ll do his best... Natsu turns around and says, ya. Atsumu just looks at him. Chika and Kouta look at each other. Soon, curry with rice and some salad are served on the table. They exclaim that it smells really good, and looks really delicious!!

Isaki says that she made a lot so they can go eat as much as they want. Sane exclaims, Thanks!! Chika says that obviously Isaki made this yet he never thought that it would look really good. Isaki angrily asks, wha-?

Then, Atsumu sits near Chika. Chika looks at him and asks if he doesn’t know what is called ‘sense of distance’... Atsumu goes eh. Isaki laughs her head off and exclaims that this is really good because unexpectedly, there is someone who would be so close to him! Chika angrily says that she talks too much.
Takezou asks if everyone is already gathered. Someone shouts, gathered!! Takezou says then— “Itadakimasu!!!” The trio exclaims that it is delicious. Chika is surprised after eating a spoonful. He asks Isaki if she really made this. Isaki asks what is it.

Chika exclaims that this is so delicious that it is simply a miracle...!!! Scowling Isaki mutters that about that...Suzuka helped her a little...tiny bit... She is frustrated over what happened.

Flashback: At the last part of cooking, Suzuka angrily shouted that is enough. “Geez, I’ll take over from here! Give me the ladle!” Isaki shouted, ha!? End flashback.

Suzuka says yes, that’s right, he simply helped a little bit. Michi shouts for another serving. Hiro calls out to Natsu and offers to give him some salad. “Give me your plate.” Smiling Natsu says no thanks, he doesn’t have much appetite.
Hiro exclaims is that so, is he alright? Natsu says yes, and it is just a bad situation since he wasn’t able to touch a girl even once today. Aghast Hiro says ah, is that so. She angrily thinks that she really shouldn’t care about him.

Chika notices Atsumu looking flustered as he watches that. Chika tells him not to glance around and just eat properly. “You have to support your body until the end.” Atsumu says o..okay. Chika says besides, the probability for Isaki to be able to make this miraculous food is once in a lifetime. This made Isaki hit him on the head.

Soon, everyone helps out in cleaning things up. Then, they rest a bit as Natsu is by himself on his phone. Soon, they all practice together as Akira guides them. Suzuka watches on. That night, Hiro jumps on to the futon and exclaims that she’s so tired.
Satowa says that it has been a long time since they played the whole day like this. Hiro agrees and says that she is going to fall apart!! Isaki exclaims but everyone looks so happy and doesn’t it feel that the current mood of the club is quite good? “Those two new students also look like nice kids!”

Hiro asks wha— “Is that how you see it? For me, I still feel that Momoya is quite worrisome. It feels that the gap is so strong.” Isaki asks if it is no good if there’s a gap. This puzzles Hiro.

Isaki continues, “Ah-- I'm saying that perhaps, you feel that gap makes one feel cold. But you have to know, each person’s social distance is different. *Satowa and Hiro look surprised* It’s alright. Anyway, those two new members are guys. It’s okay to just let the other rough guys go and take care of them!” Hiro goes, eh—
At the guys’ room, Michi is snoring in his sleep. Beside him, Natsu is listening to drum playing using his cellphone. He wakes up upon hearing a thud. Natsu is aghast over Michi putting his foot on him. Natsu sits up and pushes Michi away from him.

He totally couldn’t sleep. He recalls the practice earlier and how everyone reacted. He puts his hand on his face and thinks that it is bad... Then, he notices that Chika and Kouta aren’t in their futons.

Outside, under the bridge, Chika is holding a make-shift koto. Kouta calls out to him and says that it turns out that he’s here. He smiles and says that it is the opposite of last year. Chika says ya. Kouta asks when did he come here. Chika says just now.

Kouta says is that so, today we-- Both of them says, “are really unworthy senpai-s.” They look at each other. Chika says that even if Natsu knows the melody [/rhythm] but they also shouldn’t totally depend on him for practice.

“Needlessly to say, I even half-forced and drag him to come. We are wasting Momoya’s time. Our goal is to become number 1 in the Nationals. Unexpectedly we are even holding back a kouhai who just entered the club. It really sucks.”

Kouta says yes. “If we can first properly play it, then the burden on those two would decrease a lot.” Chika says, in short, they must first practice the ensemble part well. “Even if I really don’t get it when all four of us are playing together but I should be okay if it’s just two people.”

Kouta exclaims for real!? Chika says, “Also, Kouta, you are always drawn by someone so first pay attention to the sound I’ll make. I’ll absolutely do my best in playing without going astray and without making any mistakes.” After looking surprised, Kouta says, okay!
Back in the room, Natsu thinks that those two still haven’t come back. “Where did they go? ...forget it, it doesn’t matter.” He looks at snoring Michi and recalls their conversation. He had told Michi that he never once felt happy ever since he started playing.

Michi had asked him why he still played. Recalling a man in a suit giving him drumsticks, Natsu thinks, “—that is simply, because someone gave that thing to me, that’s all. It is just that and there is no other reason.”

Back under the bridge, holding his cellphone that has a metronome app, Kouta sets it to 60 bpm. He asks if this speed is okay. Chika says yes. Kouta comments that when Natsu joined the club, he didn’t see him looking happy.

Chika comments that no one has seen him looking happy. Kouta sweatdrops and says yes, that’s right... “Momoyan’s view towards the club and also on the side of how he connects with others are definitely different from us.”
Chika says of course and there is also nothing bad about being different. “There’s also no need for anyone to take the initiative to match up with someone.” Kouta says, “—But, it is rare for us to be able to be like this, to pass such short few days together...

...So, I still hope that Momoyan can be a bit happy in his own way. *Natsu opens the window and looks at the moon* It’s possible that I’m the only one who thinks about it, but look at this word ‘happy’. Doesn’t it make you feel happy just by hearing it!?”

Chika says, ...is that so, it probably can. Kouta tearfully exclaims that he’s so half-hearted [in saying that]-!! Chika says that it’s will be alright. “Because there is someone like you around who thinks of him.” Kouta looks surprised over that.

Chika says okay, enough talk, let’s quickly practice. Kouta comments that their make-shift kotos are all tattered. Chika says after all, they always use it. “Okay, let’s start from the top.” Kouta says okay. Chika says that he’ll join him in the middle so don’t get drawn away. Kouta says that he’ll do his best!!
Comment: And, I’m sure Suzuka will prove to Natsu that he is right about this grouping. In just one day, Natsu’s calm and smiling front has already down a crack. Well, of course, part of it is because of frustration over their performance.

Because of Michi, he wondered why he is playing. Even if he is a realist that it is impossible that they’ll learn to properly play in a short period of time, I think that it is still something that Chika and others know that they are irking Natsu because of their poor performance.

They aren’t too clueless about it. Chika and Kouta are going to do something about it in order for this situation not to continue. They even knew that Natsu isn’t really happy or anything even as he keep smiling like that. I’m not sure if it is a big thing that others need his help here and Chika helped him with his injury. I mean for him to have that kind of social interaction.

Natsu kept that ‘wall’ up during lunch time. Because of Isaki’s conversation with the girls, I wonder if Hiro will change her perception and attitude towards Natsu. I get a feeling that Natsu is in for a surprise the next day. ^^ This group can easily adjust to people and win people’s hearts ^^ And, that is their strong point.

Michi’s performance will progress in this chapter in terms of playing louder. Like most of them, Michi doesn’t like it when others ‘go easy’ on them for their convenience. Satowa wants to attain Akira’s strength with her kind of note playing.

It is interesting though that there is some kind of duet between the ‘would-be’ couples in the group. ^^ Possibility of some romance will happen while playing it later on? And, it is thanks to Suzuka that they have a delicious lunch ^^ Were the two at it too during dinner? =P Scans by 二次元秘店

  1. Eek! You're back! Welcome back, Kat, and thank you for this summary. Made my day 😊

I also agree with yiuy insights. I love the evolving relationships of the group. I think they'll play even better as their relationships progress.

  3. Welcome back i hope you enjoyed your holiday. I am really impressed with the way isaki analysed natsu and the group's situation i mean i could tell as a reader because i see both sides but she isnt yet she really had a great insight. And congrats suzuka on the awesome dinner XD. I think just like chika thinks that having someone like kouta who is easy going and says whats on his mind and always happy go lucky can be frustrating to people like natsu who really jave a hard time getting along with other people but at the same time it is a plessing because the more you know him the more you know he really is just nice and has no hodden agenda i think having someone like this around in life is really nice. Natsu character is really similar to me i am bad at getting along with big groups i am more better at 1 on 1 or 1 on 3 max conversation thw morr people are the are the more it makes me uncomfortable and things turn awkward he isnt a bd person but i can understand why all of this feels suffocating and frustrating to him i mean by the end of this training of he could honestly be happy then i think that is more than enough

    Thanks

    1. I did, thank you, Emmahoshi ^-^

      Yup ^^

Hehe...I wonder if it is because what Isaki did 'can be saved' or he really did some miracle to make it taste great ^^

      Indeed. ^^ Hehe, I can relate to that, too. In groups, I'm usually 'out of place'. ^^;

  4. Thank you for the summary. Since Natsu is really relatable I expect alot from this arc. Looking forward to see how the group would get closer. All of them are so full of emotions, full of youth. This is just great. Also the quote was really on point. Made my day. Again thank you so much, please keep updated!

  5. Sorry for the late response, and once again thanks so much for the hard work. Bit of an in-progress chapter but also one where that will hopefully show the path forward to a major turning point in the next one. Looking forward to that hopefully. As always very much appreciated ;)

  6. One of the things I love the most in this manga is how much I can relate with, I mean, I can relate with pretty much everything but the extreme talented geniuses like Suzuka, Satowa and Natsu, lol. I mean, it's clear they have an innate predisposition towards music that separates them from the others. Chika does have a good ear for it, but evident it's not at the same level as these others, so I'll say I relate with him better, lol.

Think this arc will more interesting than the others, there's too much on the line and we are even getting glimpses of romance inside music in a quartet made by two dorky couples and the imminent Natsu redemption, which appoints to be a very emotional one, given how emotionless he is, I'm really liking and really glad that I leave KoT to read only when I'm in a extremely bad mood - so it cures and soothes me - or in a good one so I can enjoy it better, like this time.

Thanks for the hardwork, Kat, always appreciate it.
    -
Changing subject, in my case it's both reforming and renovating, especially my office, from the ceiling to every bit of the wall, it to break it down and put new ones, other parts of the house just a handful job of painting did the job, but you're right, it's never on time and my office is already a month behind the schedule. Such headaches, lol.
    -
But that's what you normally do when it rains and has sun with it? Don't ever look up to try and see any rainbow whatsoever?
    -
TBH, I think both fanboys and girls are scary, so that's why you haven't seen me in any other comment section, lol. But really, the Namaiki author has a strange thing in making Yuki not even dense, but downright stupid, like, really, really stupid. It's not normal to anyone, no matter how dense they are, to be that "vulnerable", especially in college also being in a relationship for two years long now. It's not credible, you know?

    1. Hehe, I see, Fê. True, that seems to be Chika's 'talent'. Curious though, is that enough to be in a teaching position? Just wondering if that can help Chika...if ever, in helping out at Satowa's school...in the future. Wink. Wink.

Yup. I'm curious though how it will turn out...though they are obvious already 'ruffling his feathers'. Indeed. Hehe, especially with all the things happening in real life =P

      Thanks for reading ^-^

      - - -

      Yup. And after that, you still have to fix and sort all the things that were temporarily put aside for the renovation. Hopefully, you are better packer than we are. After we re-painted our apartment this March, it seems that we are missing some stuff. ^^;

      - - -

Actually, I haven't thought of it...rather forgot about it ^^; It has been such a long time since I have seen a rainbow here. I'll look up next time and see if there's a rainbow. ^^

      - - -

Haha, I see. Hm...I don't think I have encountered a fanboy like who is really into a female lead.

Indeed. Usually, I think it isn't a good idea to make the readers hate the main lead or make that person undeserving of the other partner especially in a romantic shoujo.

      - - -

Have you read Attack on Titan yet? It seems that the author is going to make her still relevant to the story. Even if I forgot who the caretaker of the orphans is...though I read he is related to her. The new one ought to come out soon...if there's no break.

      Have a nice weekend ^^

    2. Well, he does get things rather quick, just compare him to Michi or Kouta, lol. In my experience, teaching always helps you get better in w/e you're teaching, so I'm sure it'll come in hand, Suzuka is a genius after all, also sure he planned for that. And Satowa's own school? Would he be adopted in by the bride family, I'm all for it, truly.^^

I don't actually have that many things, mostly books, some old cds/dvds/not so old bds, and a bunch of dolls - I mean, it's actually action figures of characters from books and games, but I call'em dolls, my friends who also have some get so mad at me for naming like that, lol. So I guess it'd be easy to put stuff back where it belonged, but the things is, my instruments and music things are a bit heavy - not quite, but seeing how I'm really weak lately besides not being able, both physically and medically to lift any weight, so that might get complicated, just a bit, but that's that. The worse part is the dust, it always messes me up since I have allergies and mixed with dust and all that stuff when reforming, you can imagine... I only took this long to reply 'cause I got sick, then busy with a bunch of checkups, then sick again to the point that I had to miss a consult with the doctor and so on. Like I said, the headaches T_T
      -
Lol, I get it. I just thought it strange the way it was worded, it looked liked you avoided on purpose.
      -
Well, I meant in general, like, a character fanboy, or a series fanboy, they're extremely annoying to the point it scares the hell out of me to try to be at the same place, let alone at the same time.

The problem I see in Namaiki is that the suspension of belief doesn't work anymore. I know fiction should never be as the same as rl, but it actually must be similar, or else how are we supposed to feel about the events the story tell us? The characters, etc? At first, Yuki denseness was understandable, I guess someone out there could even relate, I sometimes did, but now? Now it's just not possible anymore. She's being dating for a long time, it's not a platonic relationship, they have sex in a regular base, her boyfriends ALWAYS makes a big deal out of her being too nice to others, especially this one guy he specifically tells her to be aware, and she, just invite her to her room, after he confessed lot's of times and said it was real so she must not misunderstand what he means? Not believable, not for me anyway.
      -
I actually haven't and don't know the reason, I was starting to get all hyped up again after the reveal that the one taking care of the orphans was Sasha's father, but I think between getting sick all the time and busy I must have simply forgotten. How is it? Promising?
      -
You too, and sorry again for the long late reply. T___T

    3. I see. Well, I think he will be =P

      - - -

Oh. It's good that you're okay now. Ah, dust...we got lots of them here. One practically has to dust everyday for it to be spic and span. It seems to be a lot polluted lately and hot like summer so a couple of nephews are having asthma.

      - - -

Haha...yes. Maybe its kind of 'programmed'...when I was a kid, they also say that if it rains and the sun is shining, you get wet = you get sick. Hehe, like the Japanese belief. Anyway, it happened again. I looked up...nope, no rainbow. Perhaps, I didn't bother since I'm always disappointed before = no rainbow. Though chance of seeing it might be smaller if I'm surrounded by buildings =P

      - - -

      Hm...give an example =P

True. Actually, I hoped that after Shizuka's first confession, that's it. Move on to other things but apparently, the scenario repeats...as if they're still in high school.

      - - -

Ah, so it was her father. Lol, I already forgot. I don't know...perhaps, it is to give Gabi a guilt trip over what she did. =P

      - -

      It's okay. Take your time.

PS. By the way, I heard stuff from the leading president candidate there. Said to have some similarities with our current president and Trump. Did the stabbing help make him popular?

    4. Like I said, I'm all in. Even if he resolves the issues with his father, I don't see him making a name for his own in the music industry, besides, it'd be much easier if the great koto couple'd stick to Satowa's, though she declared in the beginning that she'd like to make a name for herself, I gather it was only 'cause of those past issues with her mom and her being casted away. Anyhow, I'm in, would love to see them teaching their own kids in their own school, it'd make to a very golden, solid and beautiful ending for these two.
      -
I too have asthma, so I know the struggle. They said they'd finish here, at least my office, next week, the bright side to this, if true, is that next week I'd barely be at home due to all medical consults I have, so I won't have to deal so much with all the dust and dirt.
      -
I see, where you live is surrounded by building and stuff? I got lucky to have a big house, though there're a bunch of new building here, I can clearly see the skies, if I wanted to, that is. Can barely walk, so I refrain to go outside, though I should to at least bath in the sun a little, it's said to be good to help in the fight against depression, downside is I always hated the sun, always, ^^'
      -
      Example of a bad place that I don't even get close? Comment section of One Piece and Shingeki. Try going there and say you didn't like something, lol;
      -
I really, really want to see Gabi twisting from guilt and possibly have a break down only to Falco - the only one that seems sane in the whole thing so far, the irony of a child being the voice representation of sanity in this manga, lol. It seems more human drama is bound to happen, right? Still kinda lost.
      -
That couldn't be farther from the truth. Remember I once told about a candidate that seemed honest and might be different from the rest? So yea, it's him, and after researching him a lot I got to know more of his entire political life and I gotta say, he's definitely different than the whole bunch, so different that he had to nearly raise a new party 'cause all the others were compromised with corruption and he wanted out, his campaign were made mostly by internet with very limited reach and even less funds, and he only had 10 seconds of tv while all the others had from 10m to 15m. He's also the only one wanting more punishment for criminals, and honestly, the only part that might be similar to Trump is that he says w/e comes to his mind, be it good or bad, like saying a woman didn't deserve to be raped, even when she herself was defending the rapist and killer of a teenager. Unfortunately, he's not part of the left wing party nor he's under the spell of the left propaganda of human rights, so people call him all sorts of things, said he was intolerant and incited hate between the masses, the irony of him being the only presidency candidate suffering an homicide attempt that might as well be called terrorist, seeing how it was made to scare the people that support him - btw, I bet you didn't hear that the culprit was affiliated with Psol, a political party from the left that is against all kinds of good sense and favors North Korea as well as Venezuela and also had a candidate running from the same function? That the culprit was unemployed for a long time, but still could afford weeks in a hotel while planning his attack?

And no, the stabbing only made more obvious how things are around here and how desperate and low people of the left are, his popularity remained the same, he's either hated - mostly by the ones I mentioned, or loved, though I myself don't love nor even like him, just had to dig very deep to get to know what he stands for to discover he stands for the same things I do, mostly.

    5. Yup. Perhaps, in a way, Chika would be the 'support' ^^ Hehe, nice ending ^^

      - - -

That's good...they'll finally finish one place ^^ Good luck with them check-up and hopefully, some good news ^^

      - - -

Yup. These days, they are built too tall...the recently built one in front of our window...huhu, no more window view for me, is 25 floors. It doesn't seem to be a residential building though. The trend here is storage for merchandise...usually for Chinese nationals who sell/dump their wares here. Hehe, after all, most of the things in the world are made in China.

That's nice ^^ And the new buildings aren't that tall? Yup, I heard that. Here, it is also very hot and humid so we don't like the sun. The women would prefer to be white skinned so would avoid the sun by using umbrellas, etc. Even some of the men would wear long sleeves. Of course, with skin cancer and stuff, I guess it isn't just for vanity.

Maybe just the morning sun so that it won't be too harsh? Free Vitamin D ^^

      - - -

Ah, I see. Perhaps, I haven't been to a site that is hardcore fans. The ones I've read are not that bad.

      - - -

Ya and perhaps, 'make amends' for it? Most likely. The new chapter is out. Things are finally moving with conspiracies and what's his/her motive. The chase is on as time is said to be running out. =P

      - - -

I see. What is 'more punishment for criminals'? I get the impression that is to just kill them in cold blood without any trial or anything.

Interesting that it can make people get scared of supporting him. Here, it would actually help make people vote for him since people like the underdog. They'll vote for the one who is 'bullied' = emotions. So, where's the culprit now? Because of your justice system there, I guess he'll be getting 'aid' and also for his family?

Oh, so that's where that came from - rape remark.

I see. In a way, is it a vote between 'evil' and 'lesser evil'?

Since midterm election is coming this May, there has been a talk here. Why do the people here put 'good politicians/candidates' in such close scrutiny wherein a small mistake is amplified as if it was really bad = they have to be perfect, but they're very lenient with 'bad politicians/candidates' since well, they're 'bad' and that is expected of them. Is that the same there?

    6. Nice, warm and soothing ending. Everything I need, lol;
      -
Well, they almost finished my office today, forgot the windows and doors, hopefully by the end of the week they'll be done.
      -
Wow, my house is at a slope, very big one, so it has that advantage, and the buildings are residencial, so not everyone are that big like there. But damn, they're really selling your country to China, uh? To think they're trying to do the same here.

Yea? Here the women all like to be tanned. I myself never gave any thought on it, but never liked the sun, it hurts my eyes, lol. All kinds of lights, actually, so I prefer dark places with minimum light.

My dogs wouldn't have me stay put, they'd want to play around and tire me really fast, being sick is really, really an awful thing, I used to play with them a lot, now I can barely go outside at the garden or back yard where they normally stay. But I'll get better soon enough.
      -
Even mangastream is hardcore, I don't have any will of posting there. It's not the worse, but it's way too much for me nowadays, have no patience for that anymore.
      -
      Will have to catch yet, but I'll probably feel lost again, as usual, lol;
      -
More time in prison, that kid that tortured, raped and kill another teenager is already out and got arrested again the other day, but it's about to get released once more. Bolsonaro wants criminals in jail, not in the streets, want more punishment for more violent ones as less "privilegies", like I said, a good citizen must work to the bone and can barely pay his bills, but a criminal can just do w/e he pleases and be treated like a hero and have all the help from the gov they want, Bolsonaro is against that, and so am I. He wants a more diligent, tight and fair justice system, one that doesn't help nor releases criminals as soon as they get caught.

No, it's actually vote in the only one that can do something good, or for the one that will bring more chaos and poverty to the country - reminding you that the other candidate is from the same party as Lula and was always visiting him in prison while in campaign, so, I don't think Bolsonaro is the one that will bring more poverty and chaos like the ones before him did, but it'll be hard for him to have a good administration.

Yea, always. Just look what they're saying about Bolsonaro. The man was stabbed, almost died, for real, one minute later and he'd be dead. And still people say he's the one spreading hate and intolerance, while his aggressor already has 4 lawyers and is "enjoying" a good time in prison, where he's being treated really well and some even protect him and don't want him prosecuted at all. How a unemployed man can afford 4 expensive lawyers? The reason everyone knows, but no one wants to touch it, and the ones that do, end up stabbed.

Forgot to repaint the windows and doors or forgot to install them?

      - - -

Yup. It is joked that it is being formalized when the Chinese president visits this November. Most likely, the deal of 'sharing' the sea territory where they put military bases on artificial islands that are probably from our own sand <- we are being sold out by corrupt and greedy politicians.

'Try' so, they're not successful there.

      - - -

Oh, it is actually recommended to wear shades when the sun is bright. It is said that it can cause cataract.

True. Your dogs are outdoor and energetic types, right? That's good ^^ There's progress with the current treatment? They must have missed you ^^

      - - -

Haha, true. I tend to read the topmost comments only. Then, after we talked about this, I read the latest OP, yup, there are those stuff below. Though, sometimes, I wonder if people say negative things like in general about OP to trigger the hardcore readers.

      - - -

      Take your time ^^

      - - -

Okay...that's because he's a minor? And, he was in prison for like less than a year? By the way, who created that 'law' in the first place? There was no clamor from the people about being against it or they just passed it as they please?

Here, it depends. There are those who'll backtrack if there is a loud clamor from people but then, there are those who'll go ahead and who cares about the people...until it is election time. Like, last year, those lawmakers passed a tax bill which includes increase tax for oil and gas.

Everyone said that it will make prices go up. They say that the government needs money for infrastructure. They even call it 'Christmas gift' for us. Now, the prices of everything went up. Their propaganda kept on telling gullible people that high inflation is good for the economy...just bear with it and it is for the good of the country.

Now, those re-electionists say that 'people make mistakes'...sorry about that but anyway, please still vote for us. ^^; Still, I cannot say with confidence that they won't win again. Nevertheless, there are some good opposition candidates this time though not exactly 'popular'.

Ah, so a vote for the other candidate is somewhat like a vote for Lula.

Wow...4 lawyers. Are they popular lawyers? Here, popularity-hungry lawyers tend to jump into controversial high profile cases for name recall which will hopefully make people vote for them later on.

Untouchable huh. So, if the opposition wins, will justice be served?

    8. How can one forget to install doors and windows? Tell me, I need to know - everything else is done, but I honestly don't know what goes on in people's head sometimes. Last, he had forgotten other four wall and did just one, though he had measure the office first, so he knew about the other walls... I can't fathom this, seriously, lol.
      -
Try like, they're already doing it, but not so openly yet. Now, if Bolsonaro wins, there's a bigger chance they'd stop altogether since he's against it and was the one that first brought the problem forth to the public.
      -
Well, my eyed have been messed up since birth, practically, so I always use shades, sometimes even at home because any light hurts them, but I won't go anywhere without sunglasses in midday, only, and I really mean only if it's raining hard and the clouds are dark enough to look like it's evening, at the very least.

Yea, you can tell just by how much they jump when they see me, and sometimes fight over to see who gets to be the first to be patted, lol.
      -
Yea, he was a minor when he tortured, raped and murder the teenage girl and murdered her boyfriend in front of her, so he didn't even go to jail, he was sent to a "minor rehab" that functions as some sort of camp for them. It's not like prison and they even get to get out on weekends to see their family - guess how much is reported missing afterwards. After he was released, he killed another one, got sent to jail this time, but got freed again because of this hellish system we have. And Bolsonaro wants justice to be like justice, how come the family of the murderer have the right to see him while the family of the victim doesn't even have the right to have any kind of justice? That's his point. The ones that created that law were the same ones - the left wing party - that created another one that kids can do everything and not suffer any consequence - in school, for example, they can assault the teacher or yell at them, or call them names, and the teacher has their hands tied, do something and risk being sued? I did all the time, and dared anyone to sued me, but that's just me, a crazy ogre.
      -
There're some backtrack as well, but they mostly do what they want in "secret", then nobody gets to know and when they realize what's going on, it's too late, that's the case for most new laws and amends they're doing. Luckly, there's some decent people yet that try to go against them, too few, unfortunately, so they lose more than win.
      -
It is like voting in Lula, the other candidate already said plainly and clearly, he's only there so when he gets Lula out - how I don't know, but I know he wants to change the constitution, so I guess he'll put some other amend there - he gets to be the president again. Like, he's just a fantoche, Lula's the one presiding over, from prison, nonetheless.
      -
Well known and expensive lawyers, say, how can an unemployed afford that? And they were on the case as soon as he got to prison to be interrogated. Hopefully, the police investigate this the right way, but if they don't, it won't surprise me - or if he ends up "committing suicide".

      Hardly.

    9. Ah...you know I was kind of kidding about not installing the door and windows...but really? Wow, totally forgot huh...even the other walls. I'm thinking...is he old already or has dementia problems...or really forgot...didn't know you need them =P

      - - -

Oh. Out of curiosity, which part are they 'selling'? In other countries, it is ports. Ours is natural resources, and sea that is possibly rich with gas and oil. If possible, land though they are busy buying condos and land to build buildings. There are malls. Actually, foreigners cannot totally own anything here..it has to be a certain percentage but they got away with it using dummies. People who 'lend' their names and get paid for it.

      - - -

Oh, I see. Eye problem, too.

      How nice ^^

      - - -

You know, that is really messed up. If that kind of crime only resulted in 'minor rehab', so any other crime below that would have a much more lighter sentence, right? Ah, is that just one case? I mean, is that common or a special case <- extreme example?

So, there's no outcry from the people about it being unfair and stuff? There was but no one from the top listened or cared? Here, they have a tendency to 'listen' especially if it is election time. There are hard core don't care though.

Hm...so what's the purpose of that? Why give too many 'rights' and 'light punishment for serious crimes' to the youngsters? Are they trying to please the youngsters = voters? And, when they're passing that law, no one complained?

The recent case here is what I told you about the tax. Almost everyone said that it is bad. A lot of senators and congress try to please the president and passed it anyway. Now, they are saying they were 'tricked', 'didn't really read the details/study it' and one would even say that his vote was a 'critical yes but bordering on no'.

Out of curiosity, if someone did sue you as a teacher who yelled at them, what is the punishment for that? Fine? Prison time? Both?

      - - -

Ah, same here. Recently, they want to change the form of government. Remember the ex-female president I told you about? A reporter managed to leak to the public about her version of the new constitution which they 'passed' without others knowing about it to discuss about it. In there, there will be no term limits.

And, the vice president is removed from the possible succession line if something happens to the president. Here, the vice is the opposition. Everyone else is for the admin. So, if they remove her, the next in line will be the ex-pres' lackey and then, her as the speaker of the house.

There was a huge protest about it so they backtracked and put back the vice in the succession line. But kept the 'no term limits' in their version. So ya, that woman is really something. She doesn't change at all. She is pulling this since it is her last term.

      - - -

Wow. Someone in your place also wants to mess up with the constitution for their own benefit. Are they learning from each other or something?

      - - -

Hm...didn't the reporters ask the lawyers about it? Or, no reporters ask about it? Did they say that they're doing it for 'free'? Or as you mentioned, fear of 'being stabbed' if asked too many questions/critical of the government.

Ah, if it is here, it's very easy to do that. They'll just say that the suspect tried to fight back so they shot him. It happened a lot here that that it is already a common practice of the police if they want to finish off someone.

Why? Won't he make a demonstration of this guy who had stabbed him = justice will be served? Or, he can't until the law has been changed? By the way, does he have a lot of allies in senate and congress? After all, they'll be the ones who'll pass the law to change the current justice system, right?

Haha, hopefully, I'm not stressing you out too much with these political stuff.

Anyway, take care and enjoy the weekend ^^

    10. No joke, that's why I asked, how come that actually happened? He really didn't look like demented or bear any other illness and did a good job so far, but unfortunately, he's stained on my view and won't work with him anymore. Really, forget walls, windows and doors? I didn't pay extra and won't pay any extra.
      -
Most of Amazon and some borders, they were trying to do silently, but not anymore, though they still want to keel selling. People here just don't care, think it's a joke or it won't affect them in anyway. I warn everyone I can, they look at me like I'm some madman, so w/e, don't say I didn't warn later.
      -
Bad eyes since I was born, literally. Yea them puppies, even the ones as tall and big as me are just so cute you can't never have enough, lol.
      -
It is messed up, that's why it turned into a big deal and people are after him for saying the truth and wanting a fitting punishment for such a crime, but human rights and blabla left political agenda are just too big for one man to fight alone - not that he doesn't have supporters, but with all kinds of media, especially the big ones being making a lot of fake news and most people don't even know how to write their names and think if it's on tv it's true... You know, it's hard. There's outcry, but all covered by the ones that support that kind of thing, so they paint it the way they want, most people don't see nor want to see the truth, and we get what we get, unfortunately.

Only now it seems to be changing, I only hope that it really does.
      -
If I were to be ever sued, even in my rights, the probability of both + being exonerated are at the very least 99%.
      -
That woman looks like the female version of Lula, remember what I said about our countries being long lost brothers? It seems more real than never 'cause the other candidate wants to change the constitution and do almost the exact same thing, just think of Venezuela when you think what might happen if he/Lula wins here. If they get what they want, I don't give six months for Brazil to become the next Venezuela, a civil war might even erupt, and I'm not even joking nor giving my worst case scenario.
      -
The reporters are all from the media that supports that kind of thing/left wing, do you really think they want the truth to be out? They just pretend to do their job, and say nothing more - like, there're no more news about it. The man openly tried to kill a presidencial candidate, an act of terrorism according to the world regulation of it, and nobody cares anymore.
      -
I'm sure that practice also happens here, but like I said above, nobody cares, especially if there might be some benefit from it.
      -
The law can't be changed, the "agressor/terrorist" has to have his rights of defense and the justice process is very, very long.
      -
Nah, I get stressed, but only when people can't seem to understand nor want to understand, that gets me, otherwise, if just talking about I actually like, lol.
      -
Well, one medical procedure done, only two more to go this week, hope I don't get too broken by the comings and goings, lol.

Have a great week you too.

    11. When you say 'pay extra', is the deal, you have to finish the work in this number of days and be paid this amount? And, he's asking for extra for the missing walls, windows and doors?

Here, there are two types of deals. One is that, finish the work in this number of days for this amount of money. Pro: it gets finished on that number of days. Con: They rush it and the work isn't quite good. Second one is, pay per days until the work is finished. Pro: Good quality of work especially if supervised. Con: If not supervised, they'll lazy around and drag the days = more money.

      - - -

Oh. So, it's also natural resources like for wood and land, etc? Here, there are people who knows but are helpless to do anything except voice out their objections since well, the higher ups are the ones making deals etc. Then, the poor are too busy surviving etc and perhaps, it doesn't really affect us.

      - - -

I see. So, basically, it is just being sensitive with light?

That's nice ^^ I would want to have a pet dog or cat but then, cannot have due to health reasons. Hehe, I saw a gif wherein a cat does fist bumps with the owner...haha, I'm so envious =P But of course, that is rare. ^^

      - - -

I see. Out of curiosity, does that human rights stuff and left political agenda have something to do with the previous dictator in your country before? I read that Bolsonaro 'idolizes' him. So, the people now wants to go back to the 'good ol days of the dictator'?

      - - -

So, no one ever get sued for it yet most teachers are afraid of being the 'sample case'? And, what's the punishment? Fine or jail time? Ah, if one got sued, the school or other schools won't hire you anymore, right?

      - - -

      Ya. There are people who are saying that we might become the next Venezuela if we aren't careful. And, what do the 'idiots/trolls' say? That's good because like Venezuela, we'll always win Miss Universe. ^^;;

      - - -

Wow. No more news about it. But then, it is also kind of like here. Instead of supporting a certain group/person, it is more on who pays more. One channel got their hands tied since the president threatened not to renew their franchise. So, what can they do but tell their people not to be too critical and try to make a big deal about issues regarding the past admin.

Like, the past admin's dengvaxia vaccine. It was kind of rushed and there are some side effects mentioned. The current admin's allies bloated it as dengvaxia kills the kids. Everyone who dies because of whatever causes...as long as they got dengvaxia, it is dengvaxia's fault. That channel and radio station kept on talking about it for days and days. Now, the poor people are scared of ALL vaccines.

Luckily, there are a couple of newspapers and an internet news org that exposes the dirt. Even if they are harassed and everything. That is for those who want the truth. So, if media are like that, where do you get your news to shift through the fake from the real news?

      - - -

I see. I wonder if that might be a problem later on. Here, our ex-pres' father was believed to be assassinated because the ex-dictator ordered it. People will say, he is already the president yet he couldn't find proof as to who really ordered the kill. For Bolsonaro, won't they say, how can you say give us justice when you cannot even get justice yourself even if you are president?

      - - -

Haha, I see. Well, those are quite stressful indeed.

      - - -

      Hopefully not ^^

      Take care ^^

    12. Here's the same with the deals "package", but mostly for stand alone workers/bricklayers. This reform/remodel of mine was made directly with a company/contractor that has workers to do the job. So I ain't paying extra for their mess, already said and as soon as I did, they almost finished, said didn't finished the doors and windows now because the materials for it take time to arrive, since they import some and others, like mine, are customized.
      -
Lands, big acres of lands, with uncountable resources on. The ones that know, made a petition for people to sign so the congress would stop, but most people thought it was a scam so now a lot of already belongs to China, Cuba and Russia, for some reason, only communists countries, while the press keep spouting nonsense about U.S, that Trump already gave up on S.A issues due to their own problems created by their own commie friends.
      -
Being sensitive to light is the most problematic, but can't see well neither from very close or long distances, people joke how in the blue Earth can I still see anything, lol. It's just hard, mostly a blur that go out with time, but if there's light around, the blur stays for a long time, and might not actually go out, so I'm always with shades on while I'm outside and even indoors, my glasses are made with some expensive special lens. So, I only buy glasses when the other ones are completely gone, can't afford without agreeing to some installments that make'em even more expensive by the long run.
      -
My older dog lived almost 20y, that one was a true bro, lol. He'd spent time with just doing nothing, when I was listening to music he'd lie down next to me or over me, wanting to be patted, and when I was the one playing he'd stay around, usually next to my chair. Still remember when we were having a hard time with both my uncle, auntie and dad in hospital, with cancer and mostly my mom and I were the ones spending days with them there, whenever I was home, I'd go to the balcony right outside my office, late at night, mostly, since I had to work the other day or go to the hospital again, and he'd stay there with me, doing nothing, just standing by my side. Died of old age, but lived more than most and was a true man's best friend. Now, I don't like cats so I won't say anything, lol.
      -
That's another lie, there was never a dictatorship here, there was once an attempt of it by Getulio Vargas, around the WWII time, but what you're referring to, is the militar regiment time, WAY different than an actual dictatorship - I mean, have you ever seen elections with the actual ruler stepping down because he lost? Or willing to step down whenever the people actually cried for - not the ones putting bombs in public buildings, that's just terrorism, which, Dilma, the last president was caught for, then came out saying she was tortured and w/e by the dictatorship that never happened. There are a lot of public documents about this time, available to anyone to access even by internet about it, some video documentaries about it, showing how the people actually asked for the intervention of the military force because the way it was, the country was just digging it's own whole with people with the left on power, like Getulio Vargars, which were pro-fascism and actually took in a lot of nazi criminal wars that war running to escape justice and looking for a "safe place" to hide. He actually didn't join their side of war because direct pressure from the U.S, that had a lot of deals with Brazil's import products, so if he had joined them, he'd put his own regiment into danger because there was nobody else to actually trade with, but nevertheless, we was a believer of such ideologies - so much that most of our current constitution, especially for workers, are actually just a copy paste of the fascist manifest.

      Delete
    13. Years of indoctrination seemed to make people forget and even assume things that never existed in the first place. Now, I won't deny, the military were pretty rough with EVERYONE out of the line or suspected to be - like I said, there were terrorist planting bombs in public buildings - so they grew rougher and rougher until the people couldn't stand anymore, then a very little time after, they stepped down - there're also a lot of not only public documents, but lot's of journalist recordings about when they took over and when they stepped down, all public, none willing to read it. I myself alerted a lot of my family members, younger relatives, even my own mom about it, still, they don't want to believe so, to answer your question directly, the military never had anything to do with the left wing, but they themselves weren't actually a political party, so they had nothing to do with the right wing either - though I don't remember Brazil ever having a really right wing, aside from Bolsonaro and some other politicians that unfortunately were under left wing banner, while they themselves were fighting for right wing rights/ideology.
      -
I haven't met anyone and assume because they were too afraid to confront the "young criminals", will never call'em actually students, but with anyone got sued, it'd be on their record, if they were public workers - like me - they'd be exonerated and'd never again have any public job, either under the state, prefecture or federal institutions. They'd also have a hard time getting another job as a teacher in any other school.
      -
And I wonder, who'd ever benefit from having won the Miss Universe, apart the people behind her, working to put her there? Hope those trolls know that in Venezuela, there are people eating rats because it's too expensive to buy food, even more if it's meat, and the only thing the "govern" does is give out some poor rations to some people that have to get a number and wait in line, hoping they last until it's their time to get w/e is in the rations.
      -
Like I said, exactly the same, long lost countries brothers, it seems, but I wonder if in other places things aren't like that, too? Hope not, though.
      -
Nowadays, with internet and stuff, it's easier to see through their lies and look for the right answers yourself, but most people don't do that. We do have some honest people doing honest work in medial, though they're too small, even some youtubers are on it, but still, their reach is far smaller compared to the big media, but they do what they can. I myself can't do anything public anymore, though I used to and be very loud - think I said before, and people'd make me out to be crazy. Now that they're seeing some of the truth, I wonder if they still remain with their eyes closed to it.
      -
I don't know, but I think it's best for him to stay away, so people will see he letting the police do the work, if it fails, it'll just show how things are and how it needs to be, which is one of the things he believes, police force must do their work, jail bandits and not having them freed again by the justice system. If that happens, will be very bad for everyone involved, but it'd prove that a lot it's wrong and a lot more must be done.

You tell me, I think one of the reasons my back gave out were due to the extreme stress I was under every single day.
      -
So far, so good. Now it's only one more and hopefully, they finish the reform by friday, and then I can finally try to relax and read the new KoT chapter, lol.

    14. But, they'll still work on it even if you don't pay extra? Do you have a contract? I'm thinking that they might not work on it anymore if you don't pay more. Companies here can do that like say, the cost of materials went up so pay up more or else...

      - - -

What is the scam? The petition is the scam since those countries already got the land? Sorry, what's SA? ^^; It reminds me of here. The admin kept on ranting about EU, US and the opposition but are silent on the ones 'taking the lands/seas', China.

      - - -

'completely gone' = glasses broke, lost? I see. They must be very expensive.

      - - -

Wow. That's nice ^^ Always there to hang around with you ^^ Hehe, lots of people don't like cats. They say, cats don't take a bath = dirty. Most people here have dogs. Even if well, there are people who eat dogs here...until it was forbidden by law.

      - - -

Ah, so it is more of a military rule. Then, after that, it became a left-type of government. Since everything sucks now, want to go back to how it was then? I get the impression that he supports military rule. Ah, why was there a military rule in the first place?

      - - -

I see. Here, the indoctrination is more on making the dictator times as the 'best times'. Talking about discipline, nice buildings, communists = bad, but the bad side: plunge the economy down, lots of torture and killings and stole lots of money that after 40+ years, we are still paying for the debt he took which ended up in their banks and other assets. Hm...I'm not sure if you heard of Marcos there. The wife is world famous for her shoes and extravagant lifestyle.

      - - -

Hm...so you mean, they are supposedly right but actually left wing party? Here, parties and what they stand for don't mean a thing. People vote based on that single person. So, if that person is popular like an actor, boxer, tv host, politician who is always on TV helping people or acting concerned etc, you get a high chance of winning. And, they can change from one party to another.

      - - -

I see. No wonder they are afraid. If that happens, can one still get a different kind of job? Or, it will always be a 'tainted record' of 'being bad'? Here, it doesn't seem to be any problem if you got the right connections. Like people are currently complaining how come those politicians with criminal cases are running for office when an ordinary employee needs police clearance, etc just to get hired.

The standards is quite low actually: born in the country, at a certain age, lives in the country for a certain amount of time and probably read and write. So, all sort of people would go and file their candidacy for their 5 minute of fame on TV. =P There are those who say, vote for me and I'll give one million to everyone of you. I'll make our country a state of the US.

      - - -

Ya. Well, as I mentioned before, people here are crazy about beauty contests.

      - - -

      Maybe there are...in some ways.

    15. I see. Here, it is somewhat different. Aside from the media, people are into facebook. Facebook is free data here. Now, the problem lies in people believing like gospel truth what certain people/groups say in FB and never bother counter checking it. Actually, they don't even think...just believe so they are always said to be a 'cult'. Like what I mentioned before, they really believe that high inflation is good, and the previous admin sucks since the inflation was low.

Hopefully, not. Here, there are people opening their eyes to the truth about stuff. Well, perhaps, it helps when the admin's failure in important things hits their wallets and stomachs.

      - - -

True. But then, if the justice system is like that, I mean, it's the law so can things change? If s/he has good lawyers and 'lenient' due to circumstances judges, won't he get a lighter sentence or be freed? Ah, are you guys also going to vote for senate/congress? Are there a lot from his party? If not, he will have a difficult time getting the laws, etc he wants done.

Here, clever lawyers can think of lots of creative ways to have lighter sentences or even go out in bail. The really amazing ones can get the charges dropped on a technicality. Basically, they know the loopholes.

      - - -

Lol. So, these days you are busy 'campaigning'?

      - - -

      Oh, that's good ^^

    16. It depends on the contract, mine they did and finally it's over, didn't lose anything so far, lol.
      -
SA = South America. Scam like, you give your signature for one thing, but it's actually another.
      -
Yea, lost or entirely unusable. Like, one of my delicate dogs found her way into my office, got on the desk and tested her teeth on my glasses, that now have the lens all crossed with teeth marks, also, the hinges and it's frame parts are bent and dented, but I can still use so I won't buy a new one. It does make it difficult to read, especially small things, but like I said, can't afford that kind of thing, so as long as this one not completely gone, I'll stay with it.
      -
Yea, he was really the kind of movies dog, you know? Smart and all that stuff, though if I weren't around and new people were in the house, you'd never hear the end of his barking, and he meant them, as one time he almost got my cousin that thought he wouldn't actually attack him; if it weren't for the door bars, my cousin'd probably have a missing hand right now. But if I were there, he'd stay calm, like, he'd understand the I allowed the people in so it was all fine, lol.
      -
      The real fear of transforming Brazil into Cuba at the time, and the irony is that the real fear now is transforming it into Venezuela. Also, one of the mistakes of the military was that, although they didn't have any affiliation with any party sides, they're actual rule was much like a left wing rule, so if you want to say they if they had an ideology or something like that, it was pretty much the same of the left wing, the govern/estate ever bigger and the individual ever smaller;
      -
I haven't heard of him, but I shudder that his name is very similar to my own. I hate when bad people have my name, I mean, it's such a good name, strong and with a very good meaning, and they tarnish and stain like that. Leaves me actually sad and angry, lol.
      -
Yea, there was no right wing here in Brazil until now, at least the Bolsonaro party seems to be from the right, I mean, all the candidates and affiliates have the same ideology, but before them, none. Even if someone had a different mind, like Bolsonaro himself, he had to be under the left wing banner. Here, the dispute was never political, but who's gonna be in power and who's gonna support who. The ideology behind their rule, like I said before, it was always left wing minded, even the military rule.
      -
      It'd be like being and ex-convicted/presidiary; BTW, Lula can't read out loud, he doesn't have the ability, but he's still one of the most dangerous and smart person around, and actually the one pulling the strings from behind bars for all his political party - he still is, people say he isn't, but it's pretty clear he still the boss;
      -
Facebook cult? There're something like that here, but it's more like, the believe what they're told and take it for granted, even if it's a blatantly lie.
      -
It can change with some amends, but it must go through the congress first. And yes, that's a definitely not only a possibility, but real cases - it happened before. Also yes, and he won and most of the congress seems to be on his side, and his party won most of what they were candidates for, but still, the Lula's party still won in some places and is still strong, so I predict an avalanche of fake news, manipulations and all kinds of plans to thwart his mandate, much like what's happening in the U.S, despite the huge boom in their economy that created lots of jobs, resulting in less people in debt, the democrats are doing everything they can to prevent a better rule, and that's something that leaves me extremely angry, why'd anyone do that? I mean, we know the reasons they do, but still - and that's what's gonna happen here, too. The market value here already is up and higher than in the last years and just with him being elected - he didn't even do a thing yet.

      Delete
    17. I don't do that anymore, like I said, too much stress, but I was really engaged, both in and out of school, I taught the true and always tried to open people's eyes, now I just say some truths and show some books, if they still want to keep their eyes closed, I say I give up on them and may God have mercy - they get extremely annoyed and angry at me, but that's what is, I don't have the energy anymore.
      -
Yea, my sick leave is out, finally, and I can "rest" for a while now, but still have some medical procedures to do, so it'd be tough, but one less things to worry about.

    18. That's great ^^
      -
Haha, I see. ^^; It's South America. The only thing we hear about before is that Mexican border wall he wants built.
      -
      I see. She used it as a tooth sharpener. True, if it is usable, then throw it yet. Actually, in my family, we tend to keep things like...we might not need it now but what if next time. And things are piling up. So, sometimes we give it away and then, we need it afterwards ^^;
      - - -
Ah, very protective dog. As a guard dog, that is very effective ^^ Thieves tend to stay away.
      -
I see. And, that is to become communist like Cuba, right? Here, it is somewhat like that. The US 'allowed' the president here to declare martial law in fear of becoming communist with bombings and unrest. Though some of that is the president's own doing to give him the excuse to declare it.

Of course, the president/dictator ended up using that to enrich himself, his family and cronies. Our country hasn't recovered since then as our Southeast neighbors have overtaken us...and we used to be number 1 in the region during the strart of his reign.

Military stuff doesn't have a good reputation since the ex-dictator used them as his pawns to control the people, aside from the police and civilian police. A lot of people were killed, tortured and missing. Ironically, because of that, there are a lot of people who joined the communist rebels.

      - - -
Well, it is a surname, actually. The other one time that surname is similar in SA is Narcos. I only know of it since it is the title of this Netflix movie about a drug lord in Colombia. I haven't watched it but it made a buzz here .

      Ah, true. I feel the same way but in my case, it is in fiction. The other part of my name is always the name of the female antagonist in shoujo. ^^;

      Delete
    19. I see. And, it seems that he won. People here are wishing your country good luck. Well, as I told you, he is portrayed here like our president = lots of killing, economy is going down, seems to have sold us to China and that is aside from his dirty mouth = a lot of curses, mysognist and racists remarks. Hopefully, he'll be good to your country even if there are a lot of naysayers.
      -
Ah, so his speeches are impromptu? I see. Something like street-smart-type. Lots of charisma, too? Our politicians who are like that tend to be quite appealing to the people. Ya, in a way, that ex-female president is like that...even if in jail/hospital. Most of the time here, it is criminals like drug lords who are still in control of the trade even if they are in jail.
      -
That's how it is. They totally believe what was told to them as if it is gospel truth. And, even if there are evidences that those are total lies, they still make up things to excuse the wrongdoing. And continue to believe no matter what.
      -
I guess there are those who aren't happy with him. Perhaps, more on 'decency/morals'? That is the impression I get. People here tend to call him stupid for that trade war with China. Or say, he is quarrelling with all the other countries...there will be no business then. So, that would be about money, right?

And, it doesn't help the image that he tends to have his own fanatics who are willing to cause harm for the party/him. Like that mail bomber guy recently. And, somewhat siding with Saudi earlier about the journalist being killed in Turkey. Actually, that was really gruesome that I thought of AoT torture. Though, ya, those do happen in real life.
      - - -

Here, it is always mentioned not to get tired because that is what they want. And, if that happens, we are doomed. It doesn't help that the opposition aren't united. Almost every week, something totally insane/out of this world happens. It is becoming the 'new normal' as they say.
      -
But then, you're excused due to your health condition. ^^ That's good. I do find it exhausting for you to you keep on doing that renewing of sick leave. Is there some sort of payment for it? I mean, isn't it common sense that until you get that surgery/some procedure, you cannot be well enough to work?

By the way, is the tax there high? While surfing the net, I stumbled upon such comments whether high taxes are good or not = depends on a good or corrupt government. Someone mentioned, that it is high in Brazil with nothing much to show for.

  7. Well, I too am wishing good luck and hoping him to actually be the person he seemed to be and defend the same ideals he said he did. But, things already started to change for the better and he didn't even do anything, once it was announced he won, our stock exchange got the highest value in years, then, the other day he announced who's gonna be part of the ministry of justice - which he "dried" lots of redundants functions into this one, and the stock got the highest value ever. And he is naming people that know what to do and what they're suppose to do for the functions they'll be doing, also for the first time, so, atm, he's doing well - though there are already people making attacking him and making campaign against him, saying that what he's doing is wrong and a dictatorship - like, naming actual judge to be head of the justice department is wrong...
    -
No, he used those dot comms, you know? Like tv anchors, but yea, he knew exactly what to say to the right people and that's why he got where he to.
    -
And here, too. People still claim that Lula is innocent, with tons of proofs against him, showing openly how he's guilty, some people just find it easier to say it was a plot by the C.I.A, don't ask me why.
    -
Well, U.S still has the biggest buyers, but about morality and ideals? I don't think Trump has much or ever had. He knows economy and knows that opening up the borders to thousand of people won't help anyone, just create more chaos - like it's happening here, Venezuelans escaping from their country to ours only to sleep in the streets and, unfortunately, commit crimes here 'cause as bad as it's here, it's better than there.

I'm not sure I believe that, tbh. I've read a lot of things about democrats that I can't put past them doing something like to their own just to hurt the others image, but in truth, any fanatic is bad news.
    -
Yea, you said before, but I honestly can't keep up the fight anymore. My body won't hold and even my mind, as I'm losing my temper quite easier than ever because of everything, so when I stumble on people that simply don't want to listen nor want to know, I give.
    -
It is, I have another appointment by the end of the month, and no, they won't do that, even though it is common sense - which, here, people immensely lack - because it's best for them if one keeps going because it keeps the money flowing, in some ways. I find myself lucky that most doctors see that I'm not in any kind of condition to work properly being the way I am right now, so I don't need to go through even more bureaucratic hell, though sometimes I get those doctor that don't even look at you, especially when it's for actual exams for the surgery.
    -
Really, really high, like, more than first world high, but with less the third world to justify/show why it's so high, though we know it's that high just so they can stuff their pockets and relax with all of their "privileges" that those taxes pay for.
    -
BTW, finally read the new chapter, really am liking this arc, and as always really good work. Thanks Kat, and sorry for the awesomely late reply, when I wasn't in bed, I ending up forgetting everything else while just reading stuff and then, back to bed again, too much pain. But I'm better now. Thanks again.

    1. That's good ^^ Stock exchange isn't such a good indicator especially at the start. Here, it went high and stuff even if other economic factors are saying that things are no good. Now, the stock exchange is in the red, inflation high and dollar exchange quite high.

The president doesn't know economy and a lot of stuff but he said that he'll get the best and the brightest people. He would be for reconciliation and stuff. I heard your current one is saying such things too. After a year or so, it became apparent that those are lies.

He put in all his friends, relatives, supporters and etc in positions which is common on almost ALL president but this time, a lot of them are idiots/don't know their jobs. They are there to do his bidding or steal money. He fire and oust those who know what they are doing but aren't in his circle. <- this was in the earlier months which turn out to be just a show that he is a 'good' president.

Those who got into scandals are moved to other government positions. After all, he owes them big time. When there is no change and things are becoming worse, he blames everyone else except himself. Anyway, again, hopefully things will not turn out like that for your country and they are wrong about the new president. ^^

By the way, when you say 'actual judge', do you mean s/he is currently a judge and now become head of justice department? Is that not allowed? Here, it is usually lawyers or anyone with a law background but s/he isn't holding two positions at the same time.

Ours only does the bidding of the president. That is to prosecute and if possible, jail his critics and opponents. And keep quiet about exposed scandals and corruptions of his own people.

Hm...I think it is still too early for people there to say dictatorship. Ah, removing those redundant functions...are those people fired/forced retirement? Well, critics will be critics. Here, there is usually a honeymoon period of 1 year wherein the criticism are toned down to give the new one a chance.

      - - -

I see. By the way, those racist, anti-gay and misogynist remarks...were those before the campaign or during? Ours was before, during campaign and until now. He is into anti-Catholic/God now which his men passes off as a joke.

      - - -

Lol. We can relate. Here, the president himself would even say that the CIA is out to get him. So far, they aren't bothering themselves with him.

      - - -

I can understand the 'opening the borders' thing because of what's happening in Europe. Hm...was it because of that there are more crime in your country? Is the current president there going to do something about it?

      True.

      - - -

      Ya. You're excused ^^

      - - -

I see. So, those taxes are suppose to pay for everything, right? Like being hospitalized and retirement/pension? In some European counties I went to, they say they have high taxes but it is okay since they are subsidized for almost everything. I asked what if you got no work. They say, you can live well with 'pension' for a few years even with no work.

So, I guess, that set-up is ideal if the people in government are honest and upright who give back to the people.

      - - -

Thanks for reading ^-^ It's good that you're okay again ^^ No problem, just take your time and write on your well days ^^ Take care. Hm...the cure won't happen anytime soon?

    2. Here, it means that one of the main reasons for this crisis has, at the very least, shown a huge sign of being solved, in fact, it's already being solved with investors trust in this country. But, like I said, people still are campaign against him and doing w/e they can to halt any progress - they just approved a salary increase to all ministers that will drain, annually, 4 billion - yea, you read it right, for only paying ministers that don't work not help the country in any form, most of them are corrupt and being currently investigated + anyone can see that now wasn't the time to approve such a thing.
      -
Yea, he's a judge, one of the few honest and hard working one, but for him to actually the the minister of justice, he'll have to leave the old job before, so there's no problem, if he does so.

There's no dictator stuff here since Getulio Vargas, and that was before WW2, Cuba, Venezuela and N. Korea, though.
      -
Way before he was even contemplating any idea of presidency, like, more than 10y ago and honestly, most of them are taken out of context. There was one time when he said he'd rather have a dead son than a gay one, but that's his opinion, can't he have his opinion about the matter? But, as a public person, he should've been smarter and said nothing about it. I don't remember him saying anything misogynist things, aside from that story when he said that woman didn't deserve to be raped.
      -
He's anti-religion now? That's almost the same as China/Bolivia/N.Korea/Cuba and Venezuela. BTW, have I said that if you walk around with 5kg of cocaine in Bolivia is alright, but with you have a bible on you, you're risking yourself to get arrested by the govern? Same people against Bolsonaro helped Bolivia's "president" get to the power and still sends money to them as a guise of "help" for the same cause, the people. I don't how it helps people, but, you get the picture, the same ones against Bolsonaro were and are still helping Venezuela "president", too.
      -
What I can't understand is how people can actually believe that, and it makes me truly sad about it.
      -
Yea, you know how Paris is right now, right? Sweden? Last time I read, the crime, especially rape, had increased more than the triple that they usually had before the "mass immigration", but it's been a while, things might have calmed down there. Not in France, though.

He needs to, and said, if the governors/mayors of these cities can't/won't help, it might need the military, but that's only after most things that need to be done in the congress, or if if poses as a major problem to be solved immediately, which I agree, right now there's almost 20m people unemployed brazilians, if you were to count the thousands of venezuelans trying to escape their country, you can get a fine picture of chaos, especially at the borders cities.
      -
Yea, most I can do is just tell the truth, if it finds itself on purposely deaf ears, I shake it off, can't do anything about it.
      -
Yea, but the ones that actually don't know that they go to pay bribes and grease money of corrupted compromises with corrupted companies with corrupted politicians are the same ones that believe the CIA is involved and such. And like I said before, those taxes pay for all the luxury politics have, and their salary, ofc.

I heard/read Belgium was a good example to follow for that.
      -
I'm loving Natsu's crackings, and I need to say, I kinda resemble Shizuka's personality wise, when teaching, lol. Thanks again, Kat.

I don't know about a full cure, tbh, but sometimes I do feel better, but most of the times, especially after doing the exercises I need to, I'm usually down for the rest of the day. Collateral effect of pushing harder and harder, but I do feel like I can at the very least move better, even with never ending pain, I can stretch better and walk in a not so twisted way, lol

    3. That's good. Here, we are paying for officials even elected ones...that aren't even working/going to work. Actually, we have these 'ghost government employees'. We are paying for the salaries of non-existent people. And, there are those who give themselves huge bonuses for Christmas and want to raise up the fees that they collect from the people.

Hm...out of curiosity, what are they 'campaigning against him'? As I mentioned, here, we give the new one some leeway. There, really too early when he hasn't even warmed the seat yet.

I guess they are highlighting the abuses during the military rule? Was that it?

      - - -

      I see. So, it was way before. True, people ought to be careful with what they say since it can come back at them...unless they don't care at all. ^^;

      - - -

Ya. It's basically because he is angry at the priests who call out the extra judicial killings. I'm not sure if it is celebrated there...All Saints Day. Earlier in the day, he said we should emulate the saints. In the afternoon, he calls Catholics stupid since those saints are drunkards and idiots. Instead, they should put his picture on the altar and worship him.

Hehe, there are other stuff about the women but it is quite gross which includes saliva. All of it are passed off as jokes. Amusingly, he is friends with religious cults who helped him win the election. Their people get positions in exchange since those cults tend to vote as a group. Like, if you don't vote for so-so, you'll be punished by their god.

And, one of those cults claim that he is the son of god...yup, caught with smuggled cash and arms. One of the followers took the blame for it. Are there such groups there?

Ah...they're left/communists? I mean okay with drugs but against a bible. Well, drugs = profit. Though, as I mentioned, being into religion can be quite profitable here, too especially if you are charismatic.

I'm amused that you put quotes on the Venezuela president.

      - - -

Ah, is that so. Well, I don't hear it in the news here. The ones in tourist spots tend to be swindlers and scams, pickpockets, etc. The ones to avoid are the gypsies or non-local, they say. The rape, I heard about it in Germany during their election.

I know in Canada, it had become a bit of a problem since my aunt who lives there complained about it.

Hm...so you mean, they would try to get the jobs of unemployed brazilians or more on, resources will be limited = more crime? There are no physical borders like walls in between the two countries?

      - - -

Ya. Here, there are people resorting to showing 'receipts' like proofs of what h/she said and did. But then, there are people who still believe even if they are shown evidences of wrong doing, etc.

      - - -

      Hehe, is that so ^^

That's good. Hopefully there will be positive progress so that you can live a more normal life. ^^

    4. It happens here too, more than we actually know - because some are investigated, but it's obvious there are much more than the reported ones, ghost workers, I mean. Now, with the huge increase in their salary, there'll be a huge debt and deficit when the next adm starts. At least, from what I've seen, he's naming the right people to do the right job, not doing any political favors, hope it continues that way.

Open speeches by artists and "celebrities" against him, besides the actual govern doing everything they can to thwart the next adm, approving and not approving projects that'd be helpful next year and so on.

Yea, but they always forget to show the guerrilla they had deal with, not that it serves as an excuse for abuse, but if it's going to show something, show it entirely and don't hide important fact just because it'd be useful to one side.
      -
Yea, but even then, it wasn't exactly a dictator ship, but it was what Brazil had that was the most similar to it. Really a bad time to be alive back then, for the poor, I mean.
      -
I'm more than sure if Trump did any thing like this president of yours, he'd face impeachment or worse, Bolsonaro'd be lynched for certain, those aren't not political correct type of things, but downright disrespectful, even abusive since he's using his "power and position" to do them without much retaliation, or at all.

      Unfortunately, there are. And those who gets the blame are called "oranges" here, but they're not religious, just affiliated to the wrong doing parties. Though, there's a part of the church that has been under their influence since the 1950 or so, and it'd been only escalating things and desecrating their religious practice;

I had to, I mean, can you call that a real democracy? I can't and won't. And yea, communists tend to discredit or subvert any religious act, so yea, no bible allowed, but cocaine, well, you're very welcomed into w/e you're going to.

I have cousins and friends in Canada as well, they say the same, but it's not as bad as in France, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um-kFzRLxx4

Just an old vid that I've seen and shown to some people so they'd shut up about human rights, illegal immigrants and w/e else they used that never made any sense. If you type France + illegal immigrants problem, or just Paris, you'll see tons of articles about it, some pretty "old", but still, just to demonstrate a point.

And no, I mean, there aren't any jobs to be taken, so they'd turn into begging, polluting even more the streets, then, some'd turn into criminals, I mean, not would, that's already happened, and it's happening as we speak, but not so much as like in Eu, yet.
      -
Those are the ones I don't understand, I have some of them in my family and I still can't believe how nor why they such "fanatics", but like I said, I don't even talk about it anymore, makes me angry and stressed, lol.
      -
I hope so, I mean, I literary don't move for a while after them, but can see the benefits from those after some time has passed. The pain doesn't subdue, but I have more "control", so to speak. Thanks Kat

    5. That's good. Here, the president even admits that he is putting this and that person there because they helped him a lot in winning the election.

Hopefully, they can deal with that deficit. And after that, they'll still win. You see, here, the last admin had a lot of surplus. After 2 years, the current admin used it all up and we are back in a huge deficit again with nothing much to show. So, they are claiming the projects that are recently completed by the previous admin as theirs to show the people that they did something.

I see. Kind of like what is happening in the US. Here, most are non-partisan. In a way, it can be good and it can be bad...depends on how one uses one's influence. Here, there are those who lament that most of our artists/celebrities are not that vocal against the wrongdoings of the government. But then, they would sometimes sponsor politicians during election.

There are some social media influencers who use their reputation to lie and everything. And, their fans believe it as gospel truth. Is that the same there in FB? There are these personalities who have a huge following who believe whatever they post about the country. There are also those pages/youtube which claim to be 'real news' with photoshopped pictures. Like say, that war with some rebels wherein the city was ruined. They say that it is all fixed now...and used a picture of Venice.

People believe it especially those who are overseas workers. Amusingly, they really think that the president is god's gift to mankind. But when told, hey, how about coming back to the country to experience 'heaven' rather than suffer in that foreign country, they'll shut up and won't come back here. Anyway, it is said that they only have FB as their source of news so...

Ah yes, those things are always hidden to make one look good or bad.

Ya but here, he won't. Why? Because he got a lot of people in Congress and Senate. It is a game of numbers and that woman president I told you, she perfected it by bribing those greedy politicians so she won't be impeached. The current president also got the justice by conspiring with the other jealous justices to oust the chief justice over lacking of papers to qualify for the post. And, did it in a way which is way past the period of time when they can complain about it. Also, those jealous justices also lack those papers.

Oh well, they want the post, title, and huge pension. The one who replaced the other was there like less than a year. Then, the other justices are saying that she did a lot of reforms, etc. As if she can do it in less than a year. Sigh.

I see. Ah, why oranges? Orange as in the fruit or is it associated with the color?

Nope, it isn't. Well, when you talk about that kind of illogical thing, we also have that recently. Since this admin is against drugs, they are proposing that grade 4 or 5 students above should take a drug test. There are people saying that it is just for a huge kickback for the drug test kits that the admin will buy. The ulterior motive is exposed when people say, hey, how about you politicians and everyone in government take the drug test first instead of children. Their answer, no way jose, it is against our human rights, etc.

      - - -

Wow, that is bad. Ah, is it the same in your country with the Venezuelans? I'm amazed that the ones in France even got their own mattresses.

The ones I read was in Germany...the rape cases spike up. I guess they couldn't 'check' the immigrants as to who are 'good' and who are 'bad'...like for us, it is hard to go to Europe since they have a lot of requirements and proof that you are going to go back. They also require insurance since they don't want to shoulder any expenses caused by your trip.

Our tour guide blames Pope Francis for it since he told the people to open their borders for these people.

Ah. So, it is starting there. Polluting as in human waste or just their ordinary waste?

      - - -

I heard a lot of stories about that here. Some families are divided due to politics...well, there are those who are brainwashed. One says that he tries to tell his mother not to vote for this politician but she got angry at him and tell him not to mind her or does he want to go back to her belly. ^^; She is voting for that politician just because she is the daughter of a deceased famous movie actor.

They are talking about dreading holiday family reunions since they'll be seeing those people again. Sometimes, they just talk sarcastically to shut them up. Like, hey our economy is improving because of the current admin. Isn't it great, etc. And, the other one would answer, ya, it's so great so how about paying me back the loan you owe me. And, the relative will shut up and leave you alone. =P

=) It makes me think of that quote, 'no pain, no gain'. Take care.

    7. Sorry for the very late reply, got sick and even worse, than all will to do anything just left me, so here I am, only now, with no excuses.
      -
Yea, I hope he can deal with it, but "the resistance" as they call it will do everything in their power to prevent that. Dilma, the former president and another Lula's puppet made an speech in which she openly declares she - their party - will make an alliance even with the devil itself to combat the elected president, so you can actually expect anything from them.

The worst of it all, they don't want to help to create a better system, a better country, they just the other to fail so they can pretend they didn't. It sickens me, tbh.
      -
Here's the same about the influencer and the ones being influenced, unfortunately, people don't learn, it seems, and never check their facts. Believe in an utter lie just because their idol or something said so.
      -
I see, that was the exact same situation we had couple of years ago, most people in the congress and senate were in it together, but then, some people started to noticed the really bad things happened and thank God we could prevent the worse - they winning again and turning this into another Venezuela - but still, there were a bunch of people that voted for the corrupted ones while knowing full well they were, I mean, the other president that were to serve as a proxy for Lula was already being prosecuted for nine crimes, all involving corruption, and now, their party, is in debt because they took too much money for their campaign, but can't pay.
      -
Because here, orange means a "dumb" person, not intelligent, or "too kind" to say no. Why they started to call it after the fruit I wouldn't know, my guess it's because it's really rare for someone to decline an orange? I mean, I don't know anyone that dislikes it, lol.
      -
They're going after the wrong people, if you're against it, you should go after the ones that provide it, after that you go after the ones "being provided", but in order to take out the providers. Not that it's an easy task, but the way you described, they're doing wrong.
      -
It's not that bad here, yet. But if the gov don't take any action, soon it will be, because it's almost impossible to live, so it's bound to become even worse here, especially at the borders.

And polluting in both ways, unfortunately.
      -
Think the pope didn't actually mean open borders, but open hearts - and to the immigrants, especially the illegal but innocents - if that makes sense - shouldn't take the new opportunity for granted, instead of doing what you saw in the video, they should work harder not only to pay back, but to set a good example, at the very least. That's what citizenship is, anyway, give back what you receive from society.
      -
Yea, my own is kinda like that at the moment, but we're working out. I mean, I'm not, like I said, I've stopped long ago and gave up on the topic, but the younger cousins and some older ones are taking too seriously to the point of not talking to each other and things like that.
      -
Never thought a damn quote would actually be this real, I mean, it's too real for my liking, lol.

Thanks Kat, and sorry for the late reply again, and I fear I'll be late even more, the sick leave exams are getting closer, as long with other ones, so I already see a bleak future ahead, lol.

    8. Don't mind, Fê ^-^ At least now, you can reply ^^

      - - -

Wow. In a way, isn't that bad...making alliance with the devil is anything but good, no matter what the goal is.

Well, there are a lot of those in the world of politics. They don't think of the country, they are only in it for themselves. Sickening yes.

      - - -

      Yup.

      - - -

Out of curiosity, are those corrupted ones famous? Here, they are. People tend to vote for name recall/popularity and aren't likely to vote for the better ones with unknown names. Well, aside from corrupt ones having a huge war chest for elections from their wealth including ill gotten ones, connections, and sponsors who'll get contracts/positions once they win.

      - - -

Haha, I see. Interesting. Ah, are oranges grown in your place? Just wondering if they are imported or local fruit.

      - - -

A lot of people are saying that but they are still going after the small-timers. They believe that you have to keep on cutting the branches to finish off the drug problem even if logically, they should be cutting the roots. Two big shipments of drugs that costs billions got slip through customs. Only one person is in jail. The poor man who was hired to guard the storage room.

      - - -

      I see.

      - - -

      That's true. Ideally...

      - - -

      I see.

      - - -

No problem. Take your time ^^ I'll await your reactions on AoT and the new KoT chapter ^^

      Take care ^^

    9. Thanks, Kat. I'd reply sooner this time, but once again, my health got worse, but atm, it's good, so I won't waste time and read KoT, too.^^
      -
Yea, it's really bad, I mean, is there anyone that think the devil is good in any way?
      -
Most are, famous and corrupt or if not entirely corrupt, they don't mind the corruption 'cause there's something in it for them - so it's kind of a passive corruption, but corruption still.
      -
If grows here? I have three different types of oranges three in my back yard, lol. It's pretty common here. Not having in your garden, but well, yea, you get it.
      -
Well, then it's obvious they're doing that 'cause someone told'em to, and they might be gaining something out of it.
      -
Yea, I saw some vids about how France is now, it's quite sad, really. And their president more worried about other countries and etc than his own people/countrymen. That's sad and revolting, imo.
      -
Yea, about Shingeki, I really, really liked. I think it's the one I liked the most since Mikasa's past. Really packed with emotion. And about KoT, I really laughed when you said the site asked for your age, lol. And I liked the chapter, but it felt like a transition one, where minimal stuff happens - but still happens, nevertheless - and serves more to prepare for what's to come. Ending right when Satowa said she was supposed to study at their rival's school is also a good cliffhanger for what we're going to see next. And again, I never am wrong to read KoT as my final reading of the day, it always brightens me up a bit.

Thanks again for the summary and the patience ^^

    10. I see ^^ Hope you'll have more okay days ^^

      - - -

      Indeed.

      - - -

      I see.

      - - -

      Haha, is that so.

      - - -

Yup. In a way, it also shows that these drug lords aren't afraid of the president's threats or drug war. Because of those shipments, drug prices went down due to oversupply.

      - - -

Yup. In a way, it's the same here actually. They always use 'we don't want war' with China because we care for people...don't want soldiers to die, etc...but we want 'war on drugs' for their own people wherein a lot of suspects, critics, etc are killed. If there are innocents killed, sorry, that's collateral damage. In a morbid way, it can be thought of as population control.

Oh ya, they recently admitted why they don't go after drug lords and only go after small time drug pushers/addicts. It is because drug lords are mostly Chinese and that is out of their hands. And yes, we have a hands off policy with the Chinese illegal workers.

Oh, remember the female president I told you about who is currently the speaker? The woman is at it again. She is giving money to the congressmen to pass her draft for the change of the constitution. It states that there will be no term limits for officials and it is okay to have a political dynasty = all the family members run for office or 'pass around' the position. Yup, they want to rule forever.

So, regarding the question before, yup, these people don't change at all.

      - - -

Yup. I wonder though the implication about the spinal fluid. So that means, he'll become a titan?

Ya...I was like, did this ask me my age before...then, I realized that it must be the hot spring scenery. =P

Yup. In a way, it shows how 'terrifying' that school is.

Thanks for reading and hope you have more okay days ^^ Take care.

    11. Well, me too, lol.
      -
I don't know how things are over there, but here, it's clearly that the most important drug lords have an arrangement with the govern, like mayors/prefects/commissaries and so on. Clearly, and that's one of the reasons I don't want drugs to be ever legal here - most of them would turn into mega billionaires executives instead of wanted criminal, and obviously wouldn't respond to their crimes anymore.
      -
This population control is often mentioned by some people with crazy theories of conspiracy and such, though I hate to admit it, it's quite unsettling how most things are turning up to be true, like vaccines that kills instead of protect, surge of a disease long forgotten that everyone by now should have antibodies, and those massacres we often see occurring in US of mass shooting, it happens here, too - but it's no covered by the media and only ever "mentioned" if some involved party appears in another investigation that they happen to be working at. Besides, keeping the mass population stupid with almost no education/studies and below the poverty line also helps to keep the control.
      -
That's crazy. If they know they're chinese and instead of doing something, opt to do nothing in fear of retaliation, the possibility of them having those 'deals'is pretty high, just like here.
      -
That woman never stops, uh? If that passes, it'll become like in Venezuela, where most of the parliament were fired after the elections, then the ones hired were all relatives of their "president" and his family. Like, all of them.
      -
I think only a handful of them could become titans, and even if they did, they'd be mindless ones, though we have no idea how it actually works. So far, we only saw it working by directly injecting into their blood vein; there's Conny village, though, where it was like, spread through air and most that turned into titans were defectives, like Conny's mom, and some died in the process, right? Like I said, I'm not really sure, but in Falco's case, I doubt he'll die.

      But honestly, that onsen passage should be at least +14, it doesn't show anything, actually, going to any kind of beach shows more than that, so that's why I laughed at the censorship question; now, if had shown something, that'd be needed, sure, but it didn't, so it's really a chinese crazy censorship going on - 'cuz the manga itself is aimed and sold to +14 kids - same magazine that Claymore used to be, and we all know Claymore didn't censored anything but the genitals, so ofc is strange, imo;
      -
Yea, specially since the singing 'genius' gets even more hyped when listening to another one of their class/club mates performing. I, for one, don't mind if they don't win the nationals, even with all these developments we're having, Tokize is still formed by a bunch of rookies, and some of them are not even that much talented like Chika and Natsu, so having they winning'd be quite the far fetched jump, kinda believable due to the actual geniuses in the club Suzuka and Satowa and their incredible talented teacher Akira, is still hard to go against experienced musicians that are not only used to the competition, are pretty much a place where you get in only by talent alone, so those selected to represent them are bound to be very good ones. Anyways, I'm not here to actually read about they winning, but how they grow as person using their music that changes the heart, I bet we'll be seeing some heart changes by the end of their performance, either they win or not.
      -
Thank you, you too. I'm actually going to have another medical exam this week, so I guess I've been pretty stressed and my body couldn't handle that well and got me to bed again, but I'm getting there, slowly, but surely, I'm getting there ^^
