Mairunovich [Chapter 76] -Fin-

FINALLY I found it! MY TRUE LOVE.. ‘Is love more important than anything else?’ ‘I don’t know so right now, I’m going to start searching for the answer.’ Narration: “What kind of flavor[/sensation] is love? What kind of feeling is it? In the end, would I cry or would I still laugh happily? That day, the day when I decided to change, Mirai-chan asked me that, and the answer to that question.. ..I have finally found it.”

Mairu wrote in the calendar = February 14th = Appointment with Fuyu and birthday. There is a gift box and Mairu exclaims that it’s finished. There is an email from Fuyu says that he just went out. It is already 13:50pm. After two minutes, she replied that she also went out just now. She heads out to a park and sees Fuyu waiting for her by the bench. Fuyu waves to her and greets her a happy birthday. Mairu thanks him.

He asks if she put on make-up. Mairu says yes, she put on some herself. He smiles and tells her that she’s very cute. She blushes. Holding the paper bag, Mairu exclaims that here’s the Valentine day chocolate. Waving up his arms, Fuyu exclaims that’s great. While he happily opens the box, Fuyu says that it is definitely homemade.

Mairu says yes, but she didn’t do it very well. Fuyu says that it is more important that she made it herself and it is fine even if it doesn’t taste good. The heart chocolate has the words, ‘Thank you for looking after me for such a long time.’ Fuyu’s smile freezes. He complains what trick did she wrote on top and it is already the last moment and she won’t let him experience a lovers’ mood.

Mairu timidly apologizes for she only wants to express her gratitude. Still pouting, Fuyu says what..forget it, he’ll still eat it. He laughs and says it really has her style. “Thank you for listening to my last wish.” Mairu blushes a bit and recalls what happened. Flashback: Fuyu asked Mairu if he can kiss her.

Mairu looked surprised. Leaning closer, Fuyu told her that if she’s silent, then he’ll treat it as an okay. Mairu told him that she is always, always thinking of such a mean thing. “..I You’re obviously quite nice to me. Truly treated me well.. but I’m always thinking, if you’re.. it would be nice if only you’re Tenyuu. *cries* No matter where I go.. No matter what I do.. I’m thinking if it’s Tenyuu who’s beside me.. ..I’m sorry. I’m truly sorry.. ..Sorry..”
Fuyu asked why she would still..and wasn’t she been rejected by Tenyuu. Looking at him, Mairu said that if losing one’s ‘in love with him’ heart is called being jilted then for her, it is not being jilted by Tenyuu since she hasn’t lose the ‘in love with Tenyuu’ heart. Fuyu lay down in the bed and shouted that he surrenders. “I know, I know!! I’ve been rejected!! I’m still been rejected by you!!”

Mairu apologized to him. Fuyu complained that he obviously told her to give her answer to him on her birthday and in the end, he was quickly and thoroughly rejected. He asked Mairu if they can meet on February 14th and can she give him a homemade chocolate. “That is my last wish. The last time we’ll see each other..” End flashback.

While eating the chocolate, Fuyu says that it is truly insensible that she rejected him for later on, he will become a popular photographer and she can take advantage of his connections and also handsome face. Then, he says, “Regarding your birthday gift--.. For you, I carefully considered your birthday gift. *finishes eating up the chocolate* Accept it okay*holding up his cellphone* It’s Tenyuu. *Mairu is surprised* I’ve inquired about Tenyuu’s number and contacted him. Tenyuu is quickly coming over here.”

Mairu shouts no, she already decided not to see Tenyuu again. Fuyu tells her that an hour ago, Tenyuu already arrived at Haneda [airport] and he ought to be here soon. Mairu couldn’t believe that Tenyuu is going here. Starting to run away, Mairu shouts that she’s going to escape. Waving goodbye at her, Fuyu says ya, he’ll just tell Tenyuu the direction where she ran away.

Mairu stops and shouts, “-About that! That shell, I’ll properly treasure it throughout my life!” As Mairu runs off, Fuyu shouts for her not to say That Kind of Words again. Fuyu smiles and mutters, “..I like you. Goodbye.” While Mairu is running through the park, she passes by a guy who asked a girl Fujisaki [藤崎], what it is. He asked Fujisaki that for her to call him out on Valentine’s day, could it be because of that. He laughs and asks if she is going to give him chocolate.
Holding out a small paper bag, Fujisaki shouts that’s right, Yamakawa, take her chocolates and she super likes that super self-confidence that he always has. Yamakawa blushes and is surprised by that. Mairu passes by a café where another guy is asking a girl if she is currently a reader model, that’s truly amazing!

The guy says that upon seeing Emi, he realized that she is simply cuter in personal than on the pictures. Emi says ya. Then, Emi calls out to Kudou who is waiting for her by the bushes. Kudou greets her[/Emi] as Moe. Kudou asks if she has finished writing the schedule. She exclaims yes, she filled it up for her to have time together with him. She apologizes for making him wait.

Kudou says that it is okay for he has been eating the chocolate that she gave him while waiting, and for him, it is a heaven-like happiness. Moe sheepishly says that her kitchen skill is quite awful that it couldn’t even reach his ex-girlfriend’s level. Then, there is an awkward silence for Moe realized what she just mentioned. He tells her that ever since he quit from the convenient store where he worked and met her, a lot of things had happened.

In order for a change, he went for a direct interview at a DVD rental store and unexpectedly, she has started working there. Moe says that it is truly such a coincidence. He says, for him, too. Moe says that she thought that she won’t see him again. Kudou says that perhaps, it isn’t a coincidence but rather fate that he got to see her again.

Holding her hands, he declares that she is definitely his fated person. Moe happily hugs him and exclaims, ya. While Mairu kept on running, a train passes by overhead. Mirai’s friend is saying that just now, a female manager of some club gave him her email but then, didn’t he just throw out a piece of paper a while ago at the station.

The other guys start to get angry if it was the paper with the email and he should have given it to them. They scold him that girl is very cute so what’s wrong with her and why is it always Mirai. Mirai just keep quiet. His friend says that Mirai still kept on thinking of his ex-girlfriend. The others angrily say that they heard that when one goes steady for three years, it would take three months to forget.
Since Mirai only went steady for a day, then it should only take him an hour to forget about her. They urge him to quickly find the next target. Mirai says that even if they only went steady for a day, but he likes her for 10 years. His friend says then, it would take 10 months. Mirai is surprised by this. He looks thoughtful as someone says that it’s a long road.

Then, Mairu passes by a van wherein Ayano is sitting inside. Upon seeing Mairu, Ayano tells the driver to stop for a while. Ayano grabs Mairi’s collar from behind and tosses her to the side. She darkly asks what she’s doing. Ayano angrily gives her a scolding over what she is doing, is she being chased, she’s definitely in the middle of running away and could it be that she’s running away from Tenyuu.

Ayano slaps her hard and starts ranting about how gifted Mairu is from the start since that simple face is quite cute and compared to her, Mairu is much better, so what is she unsatisfied about, is she an idiot, and yet, she is such a honest good girl which is unlike her who is quite unreasonable. Ayano exclaims how she hates Mairu for those stuff which made Mairu and Tenyuu’s relationship to become quite good.

Ayano tearfully says that Mairu has everything and she’s so envious and frustrated. Mairu shouts back, about that, it is the same with her, Ayano is truly quite intelligent, very cool, what she says is always correct, her make-up is very skillful and her heart is very strong. “You’re the kind of person whom I longed for the most!!”

Ayano looks at her that Mairu timidly apologizes for shouting. Ayano calls someone on the phone and asks the other person if he is looking for Mairu. She tells him where Mairu is and it is quite nearby. After hanging up, Ayano tells Mairu that Tenyuu is coming and she’s going back to work. Mairu goes into shock. Ayano bids her goodbye and tells her good luck [/gambatte].

Mairu asks her why she is doing this. Before heading inside the van, Ayano says, “Who knows?” And, Tenyuu arrives. As the van leaves, Ayano watches the Mairu with Tenyuu. A glasses girl asks Ayano who is that person just now and it would be bad if someone took a picture of them. Ayano says that it’s just a girl who is in the same year as she is, and perhaps, she is originally her rival or perhaps, a friend.
After reality sinks in that Tenyuu is in front of her, Mairu turns around and covers her face. She apologizes for unexpectedly appearing in front of him and she knows that he doesn’t want to see her again. Tenyuu says no, he’s looking for her. Mairu exclaims that it is because he’s so nice that Fuyu only has to tell him, ‘Mairu is currently very weak’-type of stuff and he’ll quickly come over to see her.

Mairu exclaims that she would no longer take advantage of his kindness towards her so she’s going to disappear. Before Mairu can run away, Tenyuu grabs her arm and tells her to wait. He apologizes for not saying a word and just went to Hokkaido that he even changed his cellphone number. Mairu says that it is because she confessed to him and she’s the one who’s wrong so sorry, please forget about it. Tenyuu shouts that he couldn’t forget it. This surprises Mairu.

He says that he has always been thinking of her at Hokkaido. “Thinking over a lot of things, there are times when I feel angry, there are times when I laugh[/smile], and afterwards, I feel angry again. My whole mind is all about Mairu. *Mairu’s eyes widen* ..on the way back to Tokyo, I got Fuyu’s phone call and learned where you are. I’m very grateful to Fuyu yet at the same time, I’m also very unhappy. ..Even if as matters stand, I’m very willful like this but this is my feeling. I truly.. do not want to see some other guy beside Mairu except for me.”

Mairu quietly looks at him then starts to cry. She asks, “..huh?” Tenyuu concludes it by saying that probably, he had unknowingly already come to like her. “..Please, let me become your boyfriend.” Sobbing Mairu covers her face and asks if it is really okay, her who is like this. Tenyuu smiles and says, “I only want Mairu.” And, he hugs her. Narration: “—will it be long? Or will it be short? My last him.”

At an outdoor café, Fuwari smiles over an email then sees a guy in stripes walking. Fuwari shouts that he finally found him, wait, Alexander, quickly come home. Through an email, Fuwari congratulated Mairu and that he’s sincerely happy for her. Last scene: Mairu and Tenyuu happily walking around town while holding hands.

Narration: “This love. It would be good if this is the last love. In the future, two people might still be holding each other’s hands or perhaps, there’s a moment of separation, until then, just hold the other person’s hand once again. No matter how many times, no matter how many times! Even if I also don’t have any right to give a suggestion to others. ^v^ Hihi□.” The end.
Comment: Well, too bad, Fuyu didn’t get Mairu but nevertheless, I like the scenes where he is in since he was first introduced. I find him an interesting and cute character. He tried his best but in the end, Mairu’s heart cannot be won since she is still deeply in love with Tenyuu. Not surprising though since Tenyuu was with her for a long time already and as mentioned in the Mirai part, it takes some time for one to fall out of love.

In a way, just like Mairu, Fuyu is nice until the end that he went out of his way to tell Tenyuu where Mairu is. That was sad yet nice. And, Tenyuu’s confession and everything with Mairu is okay though maybe I would be more moved if Tenyuu’s realization wasn’t delayed and very sudden like that. ^^; It seems like a forced sudden resolution to Mairu’s love problem. As for her ex-s, it does seem unfair that the ‘good guys’ are empty-handed while the not so ‘good guys’ got the love of their lives.

For Yamakawa, I guess the mangaka is saying that even if he is like that, some girl will love him. For Kudou, even after what happened before, fate will lead him again to the one he should be with. For Mirai and Fuyu, maybe someday, they’ll find the one they deserve though that might be for the reader’s imagination, and not just because you’re ‘good guys’, you’ll get something. ^^;

It seems that Ayano is more like a fre-enemy..rivals yet friends, jealous of each other yet admire each other. Like Fuyu, she also helped Mairu to be with Tenyuu. And, Fuwari found the one who is ‘lost’. So, just like the opening narration, when in love, some would be happily laughing and some would be sad/crying.

There is no overall impression of the series since I only read this for Fuyu but from the Chinese readers, some are happy that it is Mairu and Tenyuu while the others are dissatisfied with the ending. When I read chapter 1, I got the impression that Mairu would change personality-wise like becoming strong but here, she kept on apologizing and crying. Is that a regression or is she the same as before?

Well, a Chinese reader said that there is not much change and she is pretty much all about love and love. So, I’ll leave the overall impression of the series to those who had pretty much read almost of the series even if there is a gap between my summaries and the English scanlation as of this writing. So, thank you for reading my summaries for this series even if it is just partial of it. ^-^

Hm..in terms of love triangle? I have read it and in fact, I also summarized the latter chapters of that series here.

  2. Thanks for the summaries!

Isn't that how it normally goes though. Whoever is the worst character or has the worst attitude normally gets the girl? Good guys do finish last it seems in mangaland.

    2. Whoa, after glancing at the previous work from the mangaka I have to take back my statement somewhat. :P I wonder if she wrote this one as a counter to Obaka-chan Koikatariki since it's the exact opposite of what happened in this one, i.e nice guy finished first and bad guy left empty handed. Oops I hope I didn't spoil it for someone even though it's been finished for ages, but not yet fully scanlated.

    3. Is that so.

Maybe..or this will be the opposite of Hirunaka No Ryuusei. <- my theory.

  5. Hmmm somehow I feel Tenyuu's realization of his so-called feelings for Mairu seems not very natural. Feels rushed.

    2. I still haven't finished reading this manga, but I was so anxious to know the ending. I'm happy that it ended this way. People are always blindly searching for love when in reality is right in front of them.

  6. I haven't been this upset since the ending for Heroine Shikkaku. Tenyuu didn't deserve to win, and this whole thing feels very rushed. It almost feels like the mangaka had a great setting but poor development of the story. Mairu had no development as a character at all. A no love/single ending would have been better than this.

Well, thank god is over. Thanks for the summary!

    2. i think he is the most person who deserve to be with mairu he was there with her from the start he was the one who gives her confident to change her image the one who give her hope to love and be loved , he was there to give her advices and help her , he was always the first one to be by her side at evry break up and help her recover , his feeling for her werent rushed he just didnt realise what they are until he was aways from her .

      Delete
    3. Hm..since I didn't really read all that, so ya..he is always there for her..except at this last part when he kind of seem to have some 'obligatory feelings' for his ex, always saying that it isn't romantic feelings and leaving her after the rejection..and the one who is there for her and helping her is Fuyu. That's the part I've read so Tenyuu didn't give me a good impression that he deserves her. But then, I also have a problem with Mairu as a character. ^^;

It may not be rushed but how it was portrayed, it seems rushed..I mean how he suddenly realized it then heads back, get reunited, the end..in what 2-3 chapters, iirc.

  7. Well, I had hoped it would end differently. I mean the way the manga was going it looked as though it was going for an original ending, however she ended up with the obvious guy. Well, its not a bad ending so I guess its ok. I still wish it was a story about how she grew and changed as a person until she was finally a truely strong woman who could stand on her own two feet, and only then would she meet a man, and that man would be her soulmate. I had hoped it would be a story about growing up, but I felt as though she made very little progress since the first chapter. I mean in the end she ran away.... if that doesnt say something then what does? But I guess im still waiting for that manga to appear, well on the the next!!!!!!

    1. True, Naina.

      I also got that impression from the first chapter..then, there was the part where she 'rebooted herself' so I thought things would improve but it seems not when I checked it out again at the point where she met Fuyu. Hehe, again, I though things would improve and it suddenly ended. ^^;

True, running away again does mean she didn't make much progress in growing up/becoming mature.

    2. So agreed with you Naina, I was more disappointed with the main char development rather than who she end up with well it's so obvious though (Even though I'm in fuyu's or mirai team) T^T

    4. Yeah totally agree with ya too ! I'm also disappointed in this shallow and wimpy ending =_= like, seriously, what was all that for ? It seems like the ONLY thing she actually improved in is how to apply make-up (which is seriously lame)...
      Thanks for the summary Kat-san ! :)

I see..well, it is indeed frustrating if that is what you've been expecting from the start. Indeed, it is just that, and that's it. The series is more on her 'failed romances' than a love story with Tenyuu.

      Delete
    2. In reality love does not come easy. We meet a few before we finally meet someone that we can finally start thinking they're "The one". It was frustrating seeing her go into useless relationships, since the entire time I was rooting for Tenyuu. However, love isn't all happiness and roses it comes with a ton of heart breaks and tears so I gotta give it to the author for being realistic in that. Anyways that was a woderful summery by the way Kat ;)

  17. It was a whole good story, but im quite unsatisfied with the ending -,- it's somehow reminds me of heroine shikkaku. i would like tenyuu better though if he wasn't that confused of his very own feelings, since he was by her side all the times. & i read through all the comments, imo, i think mairu did make an improvement as a main character ((for not accepting fuyu when she still had feelings for tenyuu. even though fuyu is such a cutie and amazing ♡.♡ but this time she seems to take love seriously~~~! ^o^ )) but after all i still like this manga!! oh thank you so much for summarizing ^^

  18. I read mairunovich since the first chapter and I really liked it. However I think that mairu was really desperately to find the true love that she keep falling in love stupidly with the first guy she encounter in her way when Tenyuu was in front of her all the time and I kind of suspect that they will end together so I'm very happy with the end though I would like to see more of their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. Anyway, it was a beutiful story that sometimes made me angry but I finally read all the manga so thanks Kat because I have been looking like a crazy for the last 12 chapters and your blog came to me like a miracle your summarizes are great with all details included.

  19. Thank you so much for completely summarizing it! I am really happy that Tenyuu and Mairu end up together though I have to admit that how Tenyuu's realization of his feelings for Mairu is definitely sudden. Though, I guess it's for the better. And the closure for all the ex-boyfriends is kind of a nice touch. However, I was really pissed at the lines that Naru and Emi have...dunno but I can definitely say that I'm disappointed at Naru...==

Like I like tenyuu, but he just didn't strike me as much.FUYU WAS JUST SO CUTE AND ADORABLE AND FUNNY! And like I also loved the second lead in Hirunaka No Ryusei and was so happy when he was picked I was wishing that would have happened in here as well.. But overall, this manga was eh pretty good, would have been better if she picked FUYU but okay. THANKS FOR TRANSLATING

  30. Thank you so much for your summaries! I was finally able to finish Mairunovich after all these years~ I tried to read the raws to the best of my abilities, but it really helped to have your summaries to make sure I was getting things accurate. Although I liked Tenyuu, it was still rushed and I didn't like how Mairu didn't develop besides in love. (It would've been nice if she developed friends in school. Ayano's sorta an on/off friend). Also, seeing the part with Kudo and Moe really angered me <(`^´)>

ahhaha I happened to see this manga when looking around the website manghere, a very long time ago (most likely five or six years ago) and I saved it into one of my bookmark folders in hope to potentially read it but because I forgot about it until five or six years later LOL (I'm so stupid, yes I am, i regret it so much) Thankfully, I randomly started to look through my past playlists on youtube less than a week while ago and I happened to see a video called "Top 40 favorite shoujo manga of 2012-2013" in my playlist and I saw this manga again. So this time, I actually reading the manga and I became obsessed with it. Honestly, this manga is now one of my favourites.

I'm not sure how I feel about the ending, I feel like they are meant to be but it was definitely rushed just like what IceBunny said. I liked Tenyuu since the beginning, in fact I actually shipped Tenyuu and Mairu a lot in the beginning but I could tell that he didn't see her that way. And because of that fact, I didn't think they would start liking each other. If only this author made more chapters to show how Tenyuu realizes his love for Mairu, I think I would have shipped them together more but because of that flaw I think I ship her more with Fuyu or Marai. Honestly, I really love Marai, you could tell how much he loves Mairu and HE STILL DOES!!! (I'm heart broken >///<) Marai along with Fuyu are both a perfect boyfriend material for Mairu because they both love her dearly and they would NEVER cheat on her, their love for her was pure. I loved Marai and wanted him to be happy but the fact that he was seen as childhood friend and also a tool to help Mairu escape and forget about her second boyfriend, is why their relationship didn't work out. If it weren't for that second boyfriend, I think with time Mairu would have started to like Marai, and would have looked at him as a man instead of a childhood friend. (there's a lot of manga like this)

    3. Thanks for reading ^-^

Wow...internet found a way to remind you ^^

True. Usually, if it is rushed like this, perhaps, the editor wanted to cancel the series and the mangaka has this certain amount of chapters to wrap it up.

  31. But honestly, I love Mairu, even though she didn't choose Marai and Fuyu, For some reason, I agree with the decision she always makes. Unlike other protagonist in other mangas, whenever Mairu is dating someone, she completely cancels out other potential guys that might sway her to look at someone else for the sake of her boyfriend, SHE doesn't sway for any other guy as she choses to only look at one guy. But in other mangas, even though the females protagonist truly likes a guy, she gets easily swayed by another guy who likes her. This makes Mairu different from other protagonist, and this is why I liked her!

    (Warning ... swearing below)
OK! She made one mistake, but for some reason I wasn't too angry at her for that one mistake. Because her second boyfriend was her first love, and even though they went through so much hardships together, he chose to leave her without her opinion and left her ALL ALONE! Like Mairu pleaded to try again for their relationship even after what he DID because she LOVED HIM THAT MUCH. But INSTEAD, HE SAID HE'S TIRED OF SEEING HER, and that he can't STAND HER?!! He didn't cleanly cut off his ties with her, and she still had feelings for him which is why she let him kiss her, he played with her FEELINGS! I know it's wrong for her to do this after just dating Marai but RIGHT WHEN she was going to count on MARAI to help her FORGET HIM, this bitch barges IN RIGHT WHEN SHE DECIDES TO FORGET HIM. SO IT'S NOT HER FAULT, SHE ENDED THINGS WITH HIM ON THE bridge. But he still came back!!! GOSH! when he came back again saying he regretted it, I felt FURIOUS. He was being a bitch, Mairu WAITED for him AND TRUSTED HIM FOR ALMOST A MONTH while he was doing his part time job, YET he kissed another girl just because he was felt like she didn't care for him because she didn't visit him often? Mairu went through so much pain, even though she felt uneasy about his coworker, she never stopped believing that he wouldn't betray her. She showed her trust in him by not going to his workplace to check up on him to see if he's potentially going to cheat on her. And after NOT seeing him for such a long time, Naru calls her to meet up but because Mairu could tell how sick he was, she told them not to meet up because she wanted him to take care of himself before her. Mairu is honestly so caring, this Asshole didn't deserve her. So I don't understand why anyone would like the second boyfriend, SHE GAVE HIM A SECOND CHANCE ON THAT BRIDGE that DAY THEY BROKE UP, She believed that they would make up like they always do BUT NOPE, HE LEFT HER and blamed everything on her!

But I love Tenyuu though, he changed her, if it weren't for him, she would've never fallen in love with anyone and she would have always stayed the same. Also if it weren't for tenyuu, the protagonist never would have even meet fuyu and also fuyu only became interested in mairu because of her relation to tenyuu.

Honestly, the three guys who haven't wronged her are fuyu, mirai and tenyuu. Each of them deserved her equally which is why I'm not sure how I felt about the ending. It sucks how there are so many great guys but she can only end up with one of them

But yeah, I think If I was Mairu, I would have chose Fuyu.

Thanks for reading my rant. Sorry if you think differently, I respect your opinion as well :)

Again, thank you Kat. I'm happy to have read yet another manga translated by you LOL

    3. True, it should be like that...well, I guess it has its pros and cons...con = the person you're dating is a jerk.

So ya...it is as you mentioned.

Indeed. Though it seemed that for Mairu is kind of a second choice in this arc that I summarized since he is 'interested' in someone else. Perhaps, the mangaka made him 'the man' for the reason of being the lead guy.

I have read other series like this...and thankfully, the thing with Fuyu didn't reach to lovers level like everything is okay with the other guy as a lover, then the lead guy comes back/wants her after snapping out of 'being in love with the wrong girl'. Female lead drops the other guy and goes with the lead.

      Haha...conflicted?

      Thanks for reading ^-^

  32. Urgh.. i hated that the cheater boyfriend got a happy ending with the same girl who caused so much pain to mairu. If it was with another girl, I may have been ok.

The ending does a feel a bit rushed. I almost wanted Fuyu for her but I understand why she cannot let go of Tenyuu yet. He was with her since the beginning and if there were ever a chnace of fuyu and mairu ever being together, it needed more time for her to heal.

The confession didn't feel as heartfelt as well or probably not as exciting?! I dunno, it just seemed rushed. Urghh.. It needed something else or a longer talk between them about their feelings then maybe there wouldn't be a feeling of void or rush.

Btw, thank you so much for the summaries. I've been reading your summaries for probably more than 10 years. Back when it was still tatsukida pitas. I never get to thank you. I was just a silent reader/lurker. If there was a manga I was reading and it hasn't been updated for long or the translations are slow, I would always look here and find comfort that you have done a summary. Truly, thank you for all these years of happiness brought about by your hardwork . Much appreciated.

  33. i'm glad that my original otp sailed. but the ending feels so rushed. he literally just ended things with momo-san, it needs more time. i don't like how Tenyuu's just away for like 24 hours and suddenly realizes he likes her. HE NEEDS TO SUFFER FIRST. like shows how he misses her, etc, like shows signs of falling in love first damn 😂. i kinda can't accept Mairu is the one who has to suffer so much.
and i really like Mirai and Fuyu the most. though i feel like i'm the only one who's rooting for Mirai to end up with Mairu, sad.

anyway thank you for the translation!

  34. Thanks for the summary. It was obvious from the beginning they will get together. The moment that Tenyuu told her that he was her friend and not a God, was the second barrier between them (the first was when Mairu was able to speak to him). So, after that, everything was possible.
I think Tenyuu's feeling was not rushed, all the story developed their relationship and how they start to mature what love is. In her case, she was superficial, then she wanted someone who can love her as she is and take care of her. In his case, to accept that love is something really important for him and he had to face his past to move forward with or without Momo. Then, another barrier fell because even if he did not know he was able to fall in love again.

So, I also think that she realized that "the one for is someone like Tenyuu" is because she is really in love with the personality of someone, particularly Tenyuu. Maybe Mirai and Fuyu were good candidates for her because they cared, appreciated, and loved her but she got her final answer at least in that moment of her life. The first moment that she was able to choose was when she rejected two guys that loved her, and the second time when she could start again with a new love immediately after being rejected. However, She preferred to do not to stay with anyone.

Indeed, she was still being immature, but what did you expect from a teenager? The story happened almost two years before the ending.

Moreover, I think they will stay for a long time together since Tenyuu said once that the next one will be the person he will marry or something like that. They will probably mature as time passes and they will have a healthy relationship

The only thing I complain about is not to see them have a kiss and maybe have a little bit longer conversation before ending. Perhaps the author believed that after many chapters it was not necessary since they know each other a lot and they didn't need to talk more about it, they just needed to make a decision. Maybe the author also explained everything with small talks and images as she passed nearer to her old boyfriends how has been her long race to reach her soulmate. Indeed what I did not like it is that she was not able to get friends at school, I think that could be developed in the meantime.

Sorry for my long analysis 👀 but I wanna highlight some clues that led to the final actions.
And thanks very much to write the summary of the missing chapters.

Have a nice day and take care!

      Hehe, true. Though I cannot really comment about the first part since I only read and summarize the last arc. ^^;

That's right. I think that's what is 'rushed' about it. Like, that's it? Shouldn't there be a bit more...at least some sort of epilogue.

      Same to you ^-^
