The stalkers had a cold sweat and decline his offer. Recalling Shino, Mitsuru tells them that if they truly like her, they should think of the girl’s point of view. “Not self, but rather what would make that girl be at her happiest. (Even just thinking of her really hurts but I don’t regret my choice at that time.) *Azusa looks surprised and blushes* I, for my first love, I’ve learned sign language as if my life depended on it. In the end, the one that girl likes, is a handsome college student. For them to be together, I even extended a helping hand. Isn’t that laughable? *tears of recollection* You guys are the ones who don’t understand my feelings.” The stalkers say that is truly pitiful, sorry. Azusa sweatdrops and thinks that the stalkers unexpectedly sympathize with him. Gesturing at Azusa, Mitsuru says, “And also, Azusa isn’t at all a good girl like you guys imagined. Her personality is super rotten. She’s also arrogant that no one matters to her, and she’s also very hard to deal with. She’s a stinky double-faced malicious girl.” Azusa angrily shouts that he unexpectedly dare to slander her in broad daylight. A stalker shouts for Mitsuru to quickly apologize for Azusa is beautiful as her heart is and she’s their goddess. Mitsuru whispers to Azusa, “Psst. Stupid. I’m deliberately saying that. I’m helping those guys changing their ideal about you. It is better to thoroughly destroy their illusion.” Azusa says is that so, destroying their beautiful dream, that’s a good idea. She turns around and faces the stalkers. Putting on an ugly expression, Azusa snorts and picks her nose with her little finger. The stalkers are aghast. While Mitsuru doesn’t see what Azusa is doing, the stalkers couldn’t believe that cute beautiful living angel-like Azusa would unexpectedly pick her nose and their goddess could unexpectedly have such an ugly expression. With their hearts broken, the stalkers tearfully run off and exclaim that kind of Azusa isn’t their Azusa goddess. Wipe wipe. While Azusa wipes her hand on a handkerchief, Mitsuru exclaims that’s really amazing (even if he isn’t sure what she did) and with that, they’ll turn over a new leaf and won’t be a stalker again.
He notices that Azusa is trembling that he wonders if she’s still scared. It turns out that Azusa is laughing. She laughs out loud and asks if he saw their expressions, ah, that made her loosen up. “Hahaha It really serves them right, those guys!!” Mitsuru thinks that she could even laugh all out and her heart is quite strong. He blushes and thinks, “But, she’s truly an amazing girl.” Then, Azusa says, “Kobayashi. Thank you for being able to fight together with me. You boosted up my courage.. (from behind, making me feel at ease, that it’s like our hearts[/thoughts] are merged into one.) It is the first time I had that kind of feeling. But *glares at Mitsuru* you took advantage of the chaos and get a kick out of saying things like I’m stupid something, super rotten personality-type of stuff, right.” Freaking out Mitsuru tells her, “Stu..stupid, that is only words.. *Azusa grabs his collar and pulls him to her* Eep--” He closes his eyes and braces himself. And, Azusa kisses him on the lips. He opens his eyes in surprise and thinks, “..eh?” After the kiss, Azusa smiles and says, “I’ve lost, Kobayashi Mitsuru. Like. I like you..!!” Mitsuzu is blushing really red and his heart is beating loud. With teary eyes, Azusa thinks, that whether her senseless vanity or her eagerness to win [/competitiveness], it all became insignificant since right now, that feeling continuous rushes forth. “It is definitely.. *scene of Mitsuru as Mego confronting Azusa over Shino/ first time they met.*” Azusa tells Mitsuru, “Starting from the second when you appeared before my eyes, I’ve already fallen into the river of love.” Meanwhile, Mego protests to Aoi over what he’s saying that she can no longer switch with Mitsuru to go to school. She asks him what’s going on. Aoi admits to her that it really made him have a cold sweat regarding this thing this time so he doesn’t want Chiharu to get close to her again. He asks her to understand him. Dismayed Mego admits to herself that even if actually some things happen that she hid from Aoi about the date and caused him a lot of trouble. “Ah, but, not being able to stay together with Aoi-kun again, I don’t want that!!” Aoi notices that Mego is trembling and looking flustered but couldn’t say anything.
He thinks that from her looks, she’s pretty much confused so it is inevitable, he is forced to do that even if he doesn’t really want to but..there’s no other way!! Aoi loosens up his necktie and corners Mego to the wall. Using his killer [/special move] called the forced on to the wall, Aoi stares at Mego and says, “For me, you’re very important. *slightly upward meaningful glance* Listen to me, please. <- when forcing, use sweet intonation (Daisuke Ono’s voice) [<- Aoi’s VA in the OVA anime] Nosebleeding and jumping on the bed, Mego squeals that what Aoi says, she’ll do it. Blushing really red, Aoi thinks good, but then, he’s so embarrassed that he’ll soon stop breathing and it is truly a dangerous secret know-how. But on the second day.. Mego is waiting for Aoi at the Akechi school gate. While the other guys are amused that there is a girl in front of their school, Aoi exclaims what the heck is she doing here. Mego timidly apologizes for in the end, she’s still very worried. She tearfully apologizes that she only wants to see what the situation is, and she’ll quickly leave. Trembling Aoi wonders for what, did he do that ‘giving up one’s life’ acting for. Chiharu arrives and sees Aoi putting his uniform jacket on Mego. Aoi tells Mego that she still has a fever so don’t overexert herself, okay, and put this on. Chiharu looks surprised at blushing happy Mego. He mutters what is he wavering for. Recalling their date, Chiharu mutters that girl should only be a stage prop that he’ll make use of. Chiharu calls out to Aoi and says, “It seems that you haven’t told this girl anything about your past. *This surprises Aoi.* If you cannot touch her throughout this life, then how are you going to protect her? It’s really such a waste for this girl to stay together with you. *pulling Mego to him* Kobayashi Megumu, I had fallen for this girl. I’ll definitely make her mine.” Aoi looks surprised. Flustered Mego thinks, “Ha!?”
Comment: Well, I get my double team fight ^^ Somehow I think there is some other stalker = real threat, rather than these guys. I still suspect that there is something about the chemistry teacher. And, were those other guys in Mitusur’s list really just wrong suspects? Well, since the stalkers fell for Mitsuru’s idea, their ‘love’ for Azusa is pretty shallow. Well, usually, it is like that with fans. They can be quite fickle if their illusion is destroyed due to something to what their idols say or do which is different from what they expect. And, it isn’t always we get to see a girl stealing a kiss and confessing to the guy. I guess we’ll know Mitsuru’s answer in the next chapter. As for Mego, well, she can be pretty stubborn to keep on wanting to check on Aoi even when he told her not to and did that acting bit. Aoi has been doing his best in protecting her while not touching her but of course, as Chiharu pointed it out, that isn’t enough that he even had the guts to pull Mego to him in front of Aoi. I really hope Aoi doesn’t cower or anything since the mention of his past can make him waver. Will he do what he threatened Chiharu earlier? Since Chiharu muttered about just wanting to use Mego, I wonder if what he said to Aoi is more than that, like he unconsciously wants Mego for himself. From what Chiharu is saying, it made me think that what Mitsuru told the stalkers earlier applies to him = if you love the person, you’ll let that person be at her happiness which is with the person s/he truly loves. Well, it is kind of low for Chiharu to use a girl just to get Aoi to fight him. Pretty desperate, isn’t he? Anyway, whatever the outcome of this challenge, I think we’ll know about Aoi’s past soon. And, if the stalker problem is over, maybe Mitsuru can appear here or he with Azusa can help these two out if they cannot properly deal with Chiharu. And, maybe while we're at it, what happened in Azusa's childhood that she has that way of thinking towards people. It does seem like she 'lost her innocence' early on. Scans by 夜莺工作室
