While the others think that their relationship seems quite good, Yanagi is freaking out that his reaction is like before since he’s surrounded by his elementary classmates. He couldn’t believe that he said that in front of Kujou. And, it turns out that she isn’t listening because she’s busy concentrating on being socially interactive. A girl says that they still have a competing relationship. Yanagi says ya. Then, he regrets it. ^^; The others are saying that it is still amazing that they are like that since elementary, as if it is fate. Thinking that it is a man-made fate caused by him, Yanagi nervously laughs and says that it isn’t so. Kujou approaches the others and coldly greets the others. The girls look scared of her and that Kujou took the initiative to talk to them. And, Kujou turns away for she made a mistake for not calling out their names. The girls find her scary. The two are quite gloomy over their respective ‘problems’. Later on, they dig out the time capsule box and give the letters to the students – the theme is, ‘to the me, 10 years after’. Kujou’s letter is about her plans for schooling and helping out her mother though studying and working. She planned to work after high school before. She asks him about his letter. Yanagi reads his younger self saying that he must have defeated Kujou by now, he wants to teach her a lesson on who’s the one who is amazing, he’ll forgive her for that if she apologizes and reflective of her actions, and he wonders why her face is always like that..she must be good looking if she smiles. Kujou calls out to him that Yanagi tears up the letter and screams. Yanagi realizes that he wrote this when Kujou has just transferred to their school and is he an idiot to write only about Kujou and thinking about it, it could be that from the start, his love for her has sprouted. He kept on saying ‘hate’ but it turns out to be ‘like’. There is a note that Yanagi is always chasing after her for 10 years and it is only recently, he realized that he likes her. He looks at Kujou and thinks that he has an unrequited love for her for ten years. Then, he blushes. Yanagi refuses to let Kujou see his letter. He is shock for there was no progress in his 10 year unrequited love. He apologizes to his younger self and just laugh if he wants to. Then, Ogiwara gives some paper and pen for them to once again write to their older 10 year old selves. Yanagi has no confidence to write something like Kujou becoming his wife for what if it doesn’t happen and he definitely couldn’t climb back up again [<- his ego couldn’t take it?]. He is thinking of leaving it blank. Kujou looks at Yanagi and writes something.
Soon, they put the letters inside and bury the box..to be opened after 10 years, when they are about 30 years old. Yanagi is totally depressed over what he has been doing these past ten years. Soon, they eat out. Everyone say their orders at the same time that Ogiwara tells them to wait, he cannot remember them. To their amazement, Kujou remembers everyone’s order and tells them to the waitress. Then, Kujou perfectly serves the right amount of food for everyone. They say that it is so like the Kujou of before. Then, they notice that Yanagi and Kujou are bickering. They wonder if it is finally the tiger-dragon thing.. Yanagi is urging Kujou to eat some salad and don’t be picky but Kujou says that she doesn’t want them because of the plums. She protests that he also has things that he doesn’t like but Yanagi denies it. In the end, she eats the salad and Yanagi tells her not to smack her lips for it is rude. Then, after eating, Yanagi says that the plum is sour so Kujou offers him some water to drink. The others think that they are like a married couple. A girl laughs and says that in the end, they are going steady. Yanagi got ‘stabbed’ when Kujou says no, they are friends. The girl suddenly feels ill from drinking too much so Kujou helps her to the toilet. After Kujou helped the girl feel better, the girl mentions that Kujou has changed for she became someone easy to approach. Kujou says that it is thanks to Yanagi that she started to be in contact with people. While Yanagi is lamenting over not achieving anything these past 10 years, Kujou and the girl arrive back. Yanagi tells Kujou that it is time for her to go. Giving Kujou’s bag to her, Yanagi says that he already paid for her share of the bill, and he’ll show her the way to the station since she doesn’t know where it is. Yanagi says that he’ll leave for a while to go with Kujou. The others wonder that if it isn’t ‘going steady’, then what’s up with that. The girl Kujou helped thanks Kujou and in the next reunion, she’ll be quite happy if they talk some more. Kujou smiles and says, ‘me, too.’ Everyone is shock for ten years are amazing..what had happened. While walking, Kujou says that was in a hurry but it was quite fun. She asks Yanagi about it. She is puzzled when Yanagi hesitantly says that he is newly understood how unproductive[/immature] he was. He asks her what she wrote in the new letter. Kujou tells him that it is a secret but actually, she wrote that she attended the class reunion, and this is something unexpected of her 10 years ago. If it weren’t for Yanagi, she wouldn’t be the person she is today. 10 years after when she reads this letter again, it would be great if Yanagi is still at her side and what would it feels like by then.
Comment: And, apparently, for everyone else, they are like a couple..even like a married couple but only the two are oblivious about it. ^^;; Even if it seems that Kujou isn’t really thinking of him but she does know the impact he made on her life. Anyway, after 10 years, things are somewhat same for Yanagi and yet, not exactly the same as what Kujou and the others think. =P Scans by 红莲汉化组
