Teary-eyed Koharu apologizes and assures Natsuki that it isn’t because she’s afraid. Recalling how she shouted no and pushed him away, Koharu thinks that she must have startled Natsuki as a boy, and he has a hurt expression. The next day, Natsuki informs Koharu that he has morning practice so he’ll go to school ahead of time. In school, everyone is getting ready for the cultural festival. While painting the signboard for the ‘confession stage’, Koharu’s friends notice that she looks depressed and asks if she isn’t feeling okay, does she want them to help her paint that side. Snapping out of it, Koharu assures them she is fine. She couldn’t tell the others that Natsuki had become a wolf for it is humiliating. Konoha tells Koharu to rest at that side for she is drawing that panda way too scary-looking. While Konoha suggests that Aki draws it since it is for their committee. Then, Koharu overhears Natsuki being called by his friends. The guys are painting the signboard for their class’ haunted theme activity. Koharu mentally apologizes to him for hurting him. She wanted to go straight to him to tell him that but.. Natsuki looks at her and Koharu immediately looks away. This made Natsuki look sad. Koharu looks at him again but he’s leaving. Koharu is flustered for she unconsciously looked away, and she wanted to go to him but couldn’t do it. While some fangirls are bugging Touya as to whom he’ll stroll around with during the festival, he glances at depressed Koharu. By the bulletin board, Kotarou sees the confession stage flyer and wonders out loud about confessing to Sumire. Holding his cellphone, Masamoto muses that the activity that the school’s first idiot lovers are going to host ought to be lucky so he would record tomorrow’s public confession. Natsuki mutters that it must be hard for the other party to have a childish boyfriend like him. Masamoto lightly hits his head and says that they know each other for 16 years, what he is thinking about now when idiots would only think during exams. A student calls Natsuki to help out in the gym. After Natsuki left, Masamoto watches him. Sumire passes by so Kotarou asks her if she’s free during the night festival. She tells him that she has an activity so she couldn’t participate in that. After she left, Kotarou is sad over this. Putting his arm around Kotarou’s shoulder, Masamoto says that it seems that something is going to happen on the cultural festival. At the gym’s stage, Natsuki sees Touya putting paper roses on a sign board. Climing up the stage, Natsuki asks if he is also called and laughs about the activity committee being too pressed by others. To Natsuki’s irritation, Touya snubs him. Natsuki casually mentions that it’s great that his cold is well now. Touya says that it is because Koharu took care of him. He mentions that the congee is delicious, and she’s quite a good kid to sincerely worry about him. Natsuki angrily tells him not to casually let someone’s girl to go in his house. Touya answers back that he really doesn’t know why Koharu chose him for if it is him, he definitely won’t make her have a pained expression.
Just when Natsuki is asking if he [has feelings] towards Koharu, a basketball flies on stage. Natsuki catches it. A guy apologizes and asks if the two wanted to also play. Natsuki and Touya glare at each other. Meanwhile in class, Koharu is fitting her cat costume. Konoha hugs her for she’s so cute. Aki dresses up as a yuki-onna [snow lady] and it fits her perfectly. Konaha believes that they’ll get first prize. Koharu asks if it is okay for Aki to help her class. Aki says that it is okay for the special class won’t participate and she wants to cheer on Nishina’s class. Koharu is envious over Aki and Nishina’s close connection even if they aren’t going steady. Koharu felt that ever since they’ve become lovers, and mistaken about their true feelings happen a lot than when they are childhood friends. A guy comes in class to announce over the heated basketball duel between Natsuki and Touya. Koharu is surprised by this. Back in the gym, Natsuki has the ball, shoots and scores. Girls squeal over Natsuki and others cheer for Touya. Natsuki taunts Touya that an [liberal/humanities] arts guy ought to just stay at home. Touya grabs the ball and evades Natsuki. Touya says too bad for who made the sports idiot unreliable. Natsuki tries to get the ball back and.. In class, Koharu has already changed back to her uniform. Konoha asks her if she isn’t going. Koharu excuses herself by saying that she’ll tidy up the room and she is already tired of seeing Natsuki playing basketball. After Konoha left, Koharu starts to cry because she doesn’t know how think about it since she obviously likes Natsuki yet she hurt him. She tries to stop herself from crying when Masamoto arrives and tells him that Natsuki is injured from hitting the score board [<- it is translated as accumulation machine so I’m guessing that it is the score board ^^;] Koharu rushes to the clinic to find Natsuki putting an adhesive bandage on his hand. Koharu exclaims that he’s quite lively. He tells her that it is only a scratched skin. She protests that Masamoto said that it was serious. Natsuki tells her that he was lying. Koharu realizes that they are talking normally. Natsuki apologizes for he obviously wanted to cherish her but he couldn’t control his feelings that he startled her, and he really doesn’t suit to be her boyfriend. Just when Koharu tries to protest, Natsuki tells her to say it to him if she doesn’t want him to be her boyfriend. Looking determined, he says that he’ll work harder to become a good boyfriend who’ll suit her. “I’ll become the world’s number 1 boyfriend and make you, Koharu, the world’s happiest person!” Crying Koharu tells him that she is quite moved that she’s afraid and ever since he became her boyfriend, he became more and more cool[/handsome], and she already likes him so much that she doesn’t know what to do. Koharu thinks that he is already the world’s number 1 boyfriend earlier on. He holds her and happily says that he likes her the most. He quickly lets go and asks if he can touch her. She says yes. Then, they kiss. Koharu thinks that from today on, there will definitely be more perplexities but it is definitely alright because love’s future is decided by feelings[/intention]. And, in the end, Touya is holding an application for the confession activity.
Comment: Well, apologizes are accepted, confessing their feelings for each other again and there’s a somewhat promise of Natsuki to do it better so things ought to go smoothly for them now. Hehe, I guess Natsuki won’t try that again in the near future unless initiated by Koharu. So, that only leaves for Koharu to reject Touya and no more problems in the horizon. I find it amusing and irksome (if I think of what Touya could be thinking/feeling) over how Natsuki, just like Koharu, tend to get Touya involve in their problems/love life when Touya is pretty much ‘minding his own business’. From that conversation, I wonder what Natsuki’s intention was when he mentioned about the cold. It made me think that it is somewhat like he’s initiating or provoking Touya to say something to him. Probably knowing Natsuki’s intention and partly because of his jealousy, Touya mentions more than what Natsuki wanted to hear. ^^; Anyway, I hope something interesting happens aside from the imminent rejection of Touya.
