Hachimitsu ni Hatsukoi [Chapter 33]

While looking for Natsuki, Koharu thinks that it is because when she was born, Natsuki is always at her side that it is like she is destined to be Natsuki’s. Koharu finds Natsuki playing basketball with his friends. Then, Koharu watches Natsuki devours the bento she brought for him. He happily exclaims that he’s full. Koharu offers him some tea and he thanks her. Seeing her happily staring at him, Natsuki asks what it is, is there sauce on his face. Koharu says no, she is thinking that she really whole-heartedly only thinks of him. She tells him that Sumire told her that she totally don’t pay attention to other guys is because Natsuki is always at her side. “But basically, there is no other guy better than Natsu-chan. *Natsuki blushes and calls her name* Ah..but, Natsu-chan would compare me with some other girl.” Putting his hand together, Natsuki apologizes to Koharu-sama. Koharu happily says that it is already okay and she also apologizes for getting angry at him over a nonsense matter. Natsuki is moved by her frankness. Just when Koharu tells him that they should go back to class, Natsuki suddenly holds her up and leans to kiss her. Flustered Koharu tries to tell him that they’re in school but he kisses her anyway. The school bell rings. And Natsuki realizes that Akagi is watching them. Natsuki exclaims in surprise. Akagi tells them it is okay, she is just a manager who is passing by. She teases them for really going lovey-dovey that they even let her see it. Natsuki asks since when she is there. Koharu is extremely embarrassed that they were seen kissing that she tearfully runs away. Natsuki sweatdrops over Akagi’s comment that to be seen kissing is quite cute. She tells him that she’ll see him after school since compared to the committee meeting, club activity today is a priority. Natsuki says okay. Natsuki recalls the kiss and mutters that it isn’t reassuring for the kiss is no longer enough. Resting by a post, Koharu thinks that lately, Natsuki would occasionally be very forceful[/unyielding] and since he became her boyfriend, he has become more like a boy. She blushes and wonders if this keeps up, what would it become into.
In the clubroom, Koharu and others are going to go through the some suggestions on what they’ll do one the night/eve before the day of the cultural festival [<- I don’t know if it is a typo because I have not heard of eve of cultural festival, usually night festival, which is after the cultural festival]. Blushing Koharu is glad that Natsuki went to his club since she is embarrassed to see him right now. Taking a paper from the suggestion box, Nishina says that they’ll read all of the suggestions then Touya will list them up. As Nishina puts the papers on the table, Koharu says that it is a lot. Aki says that it seems everyone is anticipating it. Nishina is saying that since it is a lot, so there should be a lot of good ideas.. And, he notices notes saying that they want to date with Aki, go steady with Aki, a photo shoot with Aki in her swimsuit. Just when Aki is about to read a suggestion, Nishina quickly takes it and says that he’ll filter out invalid votes and the girls go tidy up the data. Aki wants to help him out but Nishina says that it is alright. Then, Touya notices a note about wanting to kiss Koharu. Touya crumples it up and glances at Koharu. He sweatdrops over her irked expression. The notes that she got are: an activity where I can kiss a girl, I want to have lots of H[/sex] with my girlfriend, and please describe[/do] an idol. While wondering if the minds of boys are only filled with this kinds of things, Koharu looks at Touya and calls his name. This made Touya tense. By the drinks corner [vending machines], Touya says, what, it is totally idiotic worries of stupid lovers and it is boring to death. Embarrassed Koharu exclaims that she knew that he is going to say that, but she still went to consult him. Throwing away the juice pack that he finished drinking, Touya says that she actually understands Natsuki the most. Koharu thinks that she does if it is Natsuki as a childhood friend but as a lover. Koharu tells him that she doesn’t know since her feelings are quite stirred up that she doesn’t know what will become of it. Touya looks surprised then becomes flustered.
He starts to leave and complains that listening to her talk is a waste of time. Koharu apologizes. She thinks about wanting to hear more of his opinion but he is very busy and she really just wants to consult him. Touya is stunned when Koharu exclaims, “Ah, I’ll go to that person who play the piano!” Koharu thinks that is right, when she’s trouble, that person would quietly listen to her and would even play a tender melody for her. She goes to the abandoned building. She is delighted that the person is there since piano music fills the place. Koharu calls out that it is her, hear out to what she says. Inside, Touya presses a piano key. Tong. Koharu is quite happy for bafflingly enough, letting this person hear what she says makes her feel relaxed. That night, while drying her wet hair, Koharu wonders what kind of person is ‘the piano playing person’ and next time, she’ll open the door to see. She thinks that it is someone like Aki, that kind of ojousama[/milady]. Then, Natsuki knocks on her window. Inside, Natsuki learns that for the night festival, they are going to have a confession assembly. Reading a paper, Natsuki says that it is a good idea wherein the person confessing, playing a memorable music. While hugging a pillow and a towel on her head, Koharu is thinking that they were obviously found out yet he is acting normal, and it is his entire fault. Noticing her like that, Natsuki asks if she is in a bad mood and is she angry about what happened today. With a cute face, he apologizes to her. This made Koharu think that he is cunning for he’s using that kind of expression. Natsuki comments that her hair is still wet after taking a bath. He gestures for her to come to him. Natsuki helps her dry her hair with the towel. Koharu smiles over how she likes his fingers. This made Natsuki suddenly kiss her. This surprises her. Koharu is startled when he pushes her down the bed. After looking at her, Natsuki goes for her neck. This made Koharu push him away and say, “No..” Then, the two look surprised and flustered at each other. Koharu[?/Natsuki] thinks that her feelings are all stirred up and she already couldn’t control it.
Comment: Hm..I have a feeling that the one who proposed that idea for the night festival is Touya unless it is just a coincidence. Well, it seems to be a set-up for his futile confession for Koharu and then, he’ll probably continue this unrequited love for her like what he is currently doing. He is really starting to remind me of the mangaka’s ‘other guy’ in her previous series who also did a public confession to finally make the clueless lead girl realize of his feelings for her. I think Koharu is putting Touya in a bit of difficult situation for he doesn’t really want to help her out nor listen to her love problems since he is in love with her. He is currently going for ‘none of my business’ but it is cute that he would still help her a bit as ‘the piano person’. If Touya confesses, that would probably make Koharu stop asking him for advice or do clueless things which will eventually hurt him more or make him fall further in love with her. In some way, it is kind of cruel for her to be asking about that to Touya. I think she should have asked her female friends like Konoha who is probably experienced about this kind of things. Hm..unless, Koharu doesn’t want to rock the boat further because of Konoha’s reaction over Natsuki’s comparing girls. As for the couple, it seems that Natsuki is ready to go there but Koharu isn’t exactly ready especially judging from her reaction over being seen kissing. In the end, Natsuki’s impatience made things a bit awkward for them since Koharu pushed him away and told him to stop. He might not try that again soon but what about Koharu? Will this force her to be more aware of where Natsuki wants to go with their relationship? Well, the ending blurb mentions of their relationship going deeper so I think this won’t be a big issue and it is only a matter of time before they do it. :P Scans by 工作室

What good has impatience ever brought? It has only served as the mother of mistakes and the father of irritation. ~ Steve Maraboli

  1. Natsuki...Natsuki..Natsuki! control ur damn hormones! Poor Koharu! take things by a little step! I think Natsuki's action will cause their relationship into strain which probably give Touya an advantage to snatch Koharu from Natsuki. <3 Tika

    1. If Touya-kun can actually snatch her, I would be utterly happy. However, we all know it's not that way. So, again, it will be a strain to give Touya an half baked advantage that'll lead to nowhere. It makes my heart ached. *sob sob*

    4. Same here! Natsuki, control your self dammit! ¬¬ you are to forceful to a clueless girl. Maybe Touya will snatch her away I agree. But natsuki is a good guy I hope next chapter he does not become a jerk with her for saying him no to his advances even if he is the "boyfriend" he is way too forecefull. Thanks again for the summary!

  2. Why is Touya becoming more endearing to me than Natsuki is? I mean, I liked Natsuki when he was "in love" with Aki, but now that he's with Koharu... I dunno... I was ok with Koharu being in love with him so why am I leaning more towards Touya? sigh...

It is the same with me. Before, I was okay with it but now..I am leaning a bit towards Touya. I'm wondering if it is because he is a 'mysterious kind of guy' and a pianist :P
