Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru [Chapter 48]

Holding out his hand, Yuu offers to wipe Riko’s tears for her. This made Riko laugh and say that she can do that by herself. She apologizes for making him worried and assures him that she is okay. Riko continues to wipe her tears and insist that she is okay. Flustered Yuu just says that he’ll call Sou. Before he goes back in class from the balcony, Riko starts singing, “Tomorrow still..will you tell me that you like me. I always think of such silly foolish things.” Yuu is captivated by it as well as everyone in class who stops whatever they are doing and starts to listen to Riko’s singing. “I’m obviously smiling so why do I feel so sad[/suffer pain]. *with a tear in her eye* Because towards tomorrow, this uneasiness I feel became anxiousness.” Yuu suddenly recalls his father telling him that this music [band] is just a two year club activity. He thinks, “The day when I cannot be [together] with Riko, will it come? Can no longer accompany Riko by her side, will that day come?” Back at the studio, Aki sighs and says that it totally won’t do, one more time. Holding up his hand to gesture stop, Shun says, “I know! It’s really no good. You’re unsatisfied! But that’s it for today! This has been decided!!!” Aki angrily asks what. Shun replies that currently, it is already 2am, and it is already past midnight. “Everyone has already become corpses!” Aki sees that the other CP members are exhausted. Aki removes his glasses and switches off his ‘music producer mode’. Aki exclaims, “Eh!? Everyone always kept on working!? Not eating nor drinking!? This is simply torture, right!? Say it earlier! You should have said this before 6 o’clock!!” Irritated Shun says who knows, and let’s go. While they pick up their things and the others are leaving, Aki asks Shun if there is something wrong with him because today is the first day, he only have to think of it once and it is okay but midway, his memory starts to become strange. Shun says is that so, though basically, he has always been very strange so what’s the big deal about this one. Aki tells him not to say such mean things. He takes his cellphone and notices that Riko had called him once at 10:30am. He goes into shock for that was 16 hours ago. Trembling, Aki wonders out loud what to do, and would it be unreasonable to go to her house now, but then, calling her right now would be unreasonable, right.. Shun is clapping and telling everyone ‘good work’, and yoroshiku[under your care] tomorrow.

A man greets Shun back and asks what happened to Aki for he looks like a different person from a while ago. Before going out, Shun has put his arm around gloomy depressed Aki. Shun happily says that Aki only noticed that he had ignored the important phone call of his girlfriend♡ Shun assures the man not to worry for he’ll get Aki back into shape[/revive him by] tomorrow. The man laughs and says that he’ll leave it up to him. As Shinya watches them leave, he mutters that it’s quite cunning for the more he[/Aki?] is engrossed in love, [Shun?] can happily scold him. Sitting down the table, he sees some music sheet with ‘LIVE version’ written on the top. Thinking that Aki is a music supremacist[/music is above all else], Shinya mutters why he[Aki] won’t let him hate [him]— [/cannot bring himself to hate Aki]. While driving, Shun glances at dispirited Aki. Shun darkly thinks that this is so annoying. Aki holds up his head and asks Shun what’s the right thing he should do. Shun sighs and tells him that it is not ‘doing the right thing’ but rather, ‘what you want to do’. Meanwhile, Mari is lying on her bed. She recalls Aki telling her that he doesn’t want to collaborate with someone who has no fighting spirit. Mari thinks that he already doesn’t view her as a lover. She sits up and googles using her cellphone. With trembling hands, she checks out the Oricon top music chart. Mush&Co. is now at 13th place. She looks somewhat nervous. She goes out and gets something to drink. She opens the television and it greets her with Riko’s Pepsi commercial. She quickly closes it again. She starts breathing hard and bends down. Scene changes back to the two, Shun let Aki off the car by the bridge. Aki tells him that he’ll be going to the convenient store and thanks for driving him. Shun tells him no problem. Aki casually says that isn’t he very amazing that he was unexpectedly driven back by Crude Play’s Shun and this can be talked about. Shun laughs and says in addition, still a co-pilot[/second driver. Ah, that means Aki doesn’t drive?]. Aki tells him to fetch him again tomorrow. Shun tells him not to be too proud of himself. Aki says that Shun says that every time but on the next day, he knows that Shun will still come to fetch him. Shun laughs and says, good night. After Shun leaves, Aki goes to the convenient store for chocolate shopping. Then, it is between mushroom chocolates [Kinoko No Yama] and milk Koeda chocolates again. Taking the box of mushroom chocolates, Aki mutters, “Come home with me, okay? I’ll treat you well.”

Then, Riko appears and calls out to Aki. Aki looks at her then back at the box of mushroom chocolates. Riko calls out to him again. Blushing really red, Aki mutters that she has seen it, she has seen him talking to chocolates. He turns around and looks at how Riko is dressed. He blushes and starts scolding Riko why she is here when it is currently 3am, and she is also lightly dressed. Riko says that it is because she has a bit of insomnia and she’s wearing night clothes[/pajamas]. Aki scolds her not to wear night clothes going outside in the middle of the night and what would happen if she was attacked by someone. Riko exclaims that there he goes again, he and her father are the same. This startles Aki. Riko says that they unexpectedly met yet why does she has to be scolded by him like this. A pause. Aki mutters about always feeling quite troubled. Riko goes huh. Aki drops his basket and kisses Riko repeatedly until they are already sitting down on the floor as some customers pass by the other aisle looking for adhesive bandage. While trembling and blushing Riko is surprised by that, Aki wipes his lips and asks if she understands, he isn’t her father, stu-pid. Aki takes her hand and says that they’re going. While walking on the bridge, Riko thinks that he’s quite cunning for she is being brought back casually when obviously nothing has been resolved. “..but, *looks at her hand that Aki is holding. Looks at Aki who looks back and he’s blushing a bit which causes her to blush again* but, I already cannot get angry. Like. [I] like you.” In front of her house, Aki says that he’s going home. Aki holds her hand tighter and kisses her. Riko wonders what to do for she really doesn’t want to part from him. Riko asks if she can see him again tomorrow. Aki apologizes for currently, Crude Play is in rehearsal phase. Dejected Riko says is that so, then forget it, do your best. Aki asks her if she wants to come along. Riko looks up at him. Aki invites her to go to the rehearsal. Looking away, he tells her that he is a person who would become strange when talking with someone regarding music, and he would go into hard-lined tyrant mode. “If you don’t mind that, then, come and watch me as, Crude Play’s Aki.” Meanwhile, Shinya is listening to some music, the one Aki wrote for Riko.

Comment: And, with a few kisses, they’ve made up again. I do wonder if it is actually good for their relationship to easily resolve their problems like that. Good like they can easily be together again with no grudges or anything as if nothing had happened. Bad like they might keep on repeating the same issues which usually ends up with Riko crying. But since Mari is currently out of the picture, Riko would be more assured with Aki..but then, what if Riko starts becoming really famous and attracts more suitors. Mari seems to be still coping though it seems to be a psychological issue regarding pressure among other things that she has to overcome. It turns out that Aki is a sadist when he’s so focused into music. He just forgets everything and it takes Shun to snap him out of it. It is strange that everyone is exhausted and everything but Shun is still upbeat and happy in front of everyone. That is really his good point to be charismatic and friendly with everyone. Shun is indeed Aki’s love adviser =P  and Aki can be cute-childish about things apart from music. ^^; As for Shinya, I guess because he is really into music and seeing Aki so serious about it, he finds it hard to hate him and well, it was mentioned before that he likes Aki’s music. I’m really hoping that he isn’t planning to copy the music Aki wrote for Riko..maybe just enjoying the music? Lastly, reality is starting to dawn to Yuu that he cannot always be together with Riko and probably cued by her song, he is getting anxious about the future and this might adversely affect things later on. And, perhaps Riko is troubled regarding Aki, she didn’t notice Yuu’s intention on wiping her tears. Scans by 红莲 & all★wink汉化组
