 Kyouko is quite shocked when Ren told her about Yashiro’s calm reaction as he told Ren that he wanted to protect the two of them so he is totally not in a joking mood. Is he really that Yashiro who’ll intensely react like a high school girl over romance? Ren confirms it and this time, Yashiro didn’t use that sparkly eyes while looking at him.

So based on his serious expression, it seems that he thinks that they are a dating couple. Kyouko asks why didn’t Ren clarify it. Ren says that is because of Yashiro’s assumption, even without even asking him questions, so how can he explain. Since the reality is very different from what Yashiro thinks, Yashiro will definitely tease him as a ‘weak chicken’ for life. Kyouko agrees that she doesn’t want him to be labelled like that.

So, I guess from ‘mutual understanding but not official’-type of love, they will be in some sort of pretend to be a couple with Yashiro? Well, for now, it doesn’t seem to be an issue for Yashiro to know the truth. Hehe, well, in a way, this is all for ‘protecting’ Ren’s reputation = not a chicken? ^^;

Ren says that he could have easily denied it if Yashiro is acting the same as usual. Kyouko asks if there was a chance at all to do that under Yashiro’s magic ‘night tent’ which can anticipate future dangers. Ren says no and there was this one time when she gave him a report when she was in DWL wherein she took a photo together with a female foreigner.

Yashiro wanted to see the picture and if it was the past him, he would definitely tease him [Ren] about finally getting Kyouko’s email but upon seeing them with a foreigner, he was more concerned about Kanae smoothly getting acquainted [know Sarah well] since she isn’t that good in talking with a foreigner.

Ren doesn’t know if that is because Yashiro thinks ‘since you two are dating, it is natural that you’ll receive emails.’ Kyouko nervously thinks that she actually exchanges emails with Kijima and Hikaru of Bridge Rock. She decided to keep quiet about it or else, things would become complicated. So, doesn’t this mean that Yashiro already had a hunch that something is going on already since they are exchanging emails?

I was thinking that it was because Yashiro is more concerned about Kanae = being professional rather than bother teasing Ren about the email. Hehe, I wonder how Ren would react once he realizes that she also emails the two other guys. Jealous, perhaps? Would he make her stop doing it but then, they aren’t officially dating?

Since they are on the topic, Ren asks Kyouko about the details regarding her meeting with Sarah. Kyouko starts to narrate their miraculous meeting. Ren muses that this heightened emotional state of Kyouko is kind of déjà vu. He remembers how she talks like this before. [<-Ah, I forgot about what she was talking before, is it about Kuon, his father or fairies-type?] I’m assuming it is since he is slightly smiling.

Just when Kyouko is telling Ren that Sarah’s stomach reminds her of Kuu’s stomach, Ren smiles tenderly with some sort of nostalgia. And, that killed off the team leader of her demons in protective suits. It is Ren’s new weapon that can easily kill them off which is something like a radiation shot that advances them into becoming angels.

Hehe, I think that is what angel ladder is though there is no picture of them becoming angels, just a Buddha-like smiling spirit floating. On a side note, I wonder if they’ll all be gone at the end of the series. I actually entertained the thought of leaving at least one alive which she can use when she needs it against unsavory minor characters like before.

So, Kyouko goes into self-defense mode while she is totally puzzled why would Ren feel ‘happiness’ over that kind of conversation. It is like she’s in balloon mode = rubber to deflect the rays? She was caught off guard, is his happiness switch broken? The demons are thankful for Kyouko’s self-defense or else, they’ll be in danger.

Ren has locked up the door and starts to escort Kyouko out. Kyouko apologizes for making him drive her home. He says that it is inevitable. After all, how can he let her go home alone at this time and besides, Yashiro asked her to come over.

Kyouko freezes even more when he asks isn’t it to check on him regarding buying the eggs benedict ingredients. This made Kyouko glumly apologize to him. Ren asks why she is apologizing at this time, could it bet that there is a different reason that she came. Kyouko didn’t answer him.

And, I guess that kind of triggered Ren’s sadistic side/corner victim to the wall that he asked if she wants to do something a little bad, a secret between the two of them.

It is like truth or dare. Tell me the truth and you don’t have to suffer and well, get to do the easy way out of the building. If it is dare, walk downstairs at around 30-40 floors and perhaps, be embarrassed to death for being carried ala princess carry downstairs if you’re too tired.

I guess Kyouko is already tired from the shooting that she immediately confessed the reason. And I guess, that reason is being sad after filming Momiji’s tragic death. Actually, walking downstairs isn’t that bad if she has no schedule tomorrow and it can be ‘couple time’ ^^
