Zekkyou Gakkyuu Tensei [Chapter 27 - Endlessly Reincarnating Children Part 3 of 3]

Flashback: Young Haruhi is crying that her mother asked why she won’t sleep. Haruhi said that she’ll have a nightmare if she closes her eyes and it is her brother’s fault. Standing outside the room, Chiharu overheard this. Then, he looked at kit on how to make an amulet [dream catcher]. End flashback

The school bell rings. Aoi asks Haruhi if it is really okay that she cannot use her cellphone. “You won’t be able to take a picture of the lake. How about looking for a charger to use?”

Just when Haruhi is asking if that’s okay, she bumps into a young boy [Chiharu]. Someone asks if she is alright. Haruhi looks at the boy and thinks that this boy looks...

The boy asks who she is, she isn’t a student of this year level. Haruhi looks surprised. Momo calls out for them to hurry, there’s no more time because the teacher is coming. The boy quickly leaves.

Chiharu notices a paper bag on the floor and she picks it up. Aoi tells Haruhi not to mind Chiharu since he’s a weirdo. Momo comments that Haruhi has the same surname as Chiharu.

Haruhi wonders why there’s a nostalgic scent on this package and she even brought it with her. Aoi apologizes because her charger won’t work on Haruhi’s phone.
Haruhi starts to wonder about that boy asking who she is because she isn’t a student of that year level. Looking at everyone else, she wonders if she forgot her backpack and lunch. “How did I leave the house this morning...”

Yuki asks what she is standing there for, she is obstructing the others behind her. Haruhi is about to call out to him then thinks that it seems that he told her something today. “It seems that I have forgotten about something...?
At the present, Chiharu is talking with a bus driver. The driver tells Chiharu that the accident then had happened 6 years ago but then he’s sorry that he isn’t of help to him at all since Chiharu even went there. He hopes that everyone could be found soon.

Just when Chiharu is thanking him, he noticed something and asks if he can borrow that for a while. Chiharu bikes to the tunnel and mutters for Haruhi to wait for him. Then, he sees some shadows of people near the tunnel.
Riding the bus, Chiharu is having a bad premonition. Momo asked her if she has carsickness. Chiharu smiles and says that she is okay. She wonders if she’s thinking too much because she doesn’t have this uncomfortable feeling before.

Then, they hear some static sounds. The bus driver wonders what’s going on since it is wireless sounds and where is it coming from. Aoi and Momo say they can see the mountain and they’ll be entering the tunnel soon. Chiharu becomes really uneasy as she wonders what’s up with her.
Then, she notices the bag that she is carrying. She looks at its contents. She sees a dreamcatcher and a note saying, ‘For Haruhi. If you have this, then you won’t have nightmares again. Chiharu.’

Haruhi mutters that it is her name. She remembers everything. While the others are wondering about that annoying static sound, Haruhi realizes that it is the two-way radio of the bus. She asks the driver if she can borrow it.

She calls out that this is tour bus of class 5-1, over. Chiharu asks, “Haruhi, are you there?” Haruhi is relieved to hear his voice while the others wonder what’s going on. Haruhi exclaims that yes, she’s here. Chiharu says that it is good that she can hear him.
Haruhi quickly tells Yuki to look at his family picture. Yuki asks how come she knew that he brought his family picture. Chiharu urges him to quickly remember. Not wanting to experience that kind of thing again, she shouts that everyone is already dead.

Momo tells her to quit talking nonsense or else, she’ll get angry. Haruhi wonders what she should to do make everyone remember. Chiharu tells Haruhi that from today, it has been 6 years since the accident so he had gathered everyone here.

Chiharu requests the people around him to transmit their voices to the people stuck in that world so that they won’t be lost again and return to their side. The people are hesitant over what he said.
A girl comes forward and asks if she can say anything. Chiharu says yes, thanks. Then he hands the radio to her. The girl says, “Brother, I’m... Hanae. I already learned how to cook by myself and I can ride the train on my own. I still always help out mom so brother, quickly come back and praise me.”

The mother hugs Hanae and says that they are waiting for him, Yuki. This made Yuki look at the photo and calls out to the two. This made the family members want to also try it out.

Aoi’s parents asks if she is there, everyone is always waiting for her to come back. Momo’s mother and sister asks if she is cold, isn’t she hungry, come back since she’ll cook delicious food for her.
Soon, everyone is being called out by their family members. Covering her ears, Momo shouts shut up, she’s afraid, she doesn’t want to listen. Haruhi paps her back and says it’s alright, they’ll all go back together. Suddenly everyone is surrounded by white lights.

Momo apologizes for forgetting her mother. Aoi says that they’ll go back. Momo says okay. Everyone agrees to go back. Yuki apologizes to Haruhi for getting her involved but then, they are all really happy to be able to go in this excursion with her.

With everyone smiling, they suddenly disappear leaving Haruhi alone in the bus. The bus is then covered in white light. Haruhi wakes up and finds herself in Chiharu’s room. Her parents come in and exclaim where has she been all this time.
Narration: “A few days later, the remains of the children were found. They were side by side at that place as if they are looking at the lake. *scene of some skulls and a dreamcatcher were found* It can no longer be investigated as to why they are there... but, after six years, everyone finally went back home...”

In Chiharu’s room, Haruhi looks at the picture of the students and wonders out loud why she got to experience that kind of thing... Chiharu says that perhaps, it is because her sixth sense is very strong.

Haruhi tells him to please quit talking about that kind of thing. She is irked that Chiharu brought it up again. He calls out to her and welcomes her back. She smiles and answers that she’s back. And, a dreamcatcher at the window is moved by the wind.
Comment: In order to get out, inside and outside factors are needed. Haruhi getting the dreamcatcher and her brother using the radio with some appeal from the deceased family. When I first read this, I’m not too impressed on how it was solved. Well, more on the radio thing.

Thankfully, the other kids didn’t react negatively to the calls and when the truth came out. In a way, it is thanks to the people in the real world especially Chiharu that they got their loved ones back. Scans by 离境汉化组

  1. Hi there! It’s Ivy, I’m glad the last two chapters manage to work out, even though the solution as you thought wasn’t too satisfying. But yeah I’m glad that the story came out fine in the end and that all the children from the bus in the story accepted and let go and found their loves ones. Even though yeah. I sort of understood.
Thanks for the request of the Zekkyou Gakkyuu Tensei story continuation. I hope you come back to read this.
    From, Ivy
