Kyou no Kira-kun [Chapter 25]

Page 25 – All I Want for Christmas is You. Narration: “The many things that had happened are almost forgotten. Today is December 24th.” Nino looks at her cellphone with a message from Kira telling him that he’ll go to his father’s store then he’ll go to her so wait for him in front of the [Christmas] tree at the train station (｡･ω･｡)/ Narration: “Today is a Christmas date together with Kira-kun.” Nino is all sparkles with excitement. This is the first time she is spending a holiday with someone other than her family. Her parents went out to eat today so it seems that they are coming home late. Sensei also didn’t come with her so the two of them are all alone. There is a scene of Sensei saying that he has something to do so he won’t go. She had also dressed up ‘bright and beautiful’ as much as she could. “Kira-kun has come back and there was that thing with papa. Right now, I’m truly really happy. *waves arms to the side* Quickly calm down. Calm down, Nino.” Then, Kira finds Nino standing in front of the wall. Just when he is about to call her, he hears her muttering, “No, if this goes on, I’ll be overly excited.. so perhaps, it would be better if I say it a bit. I really like Kira-kun. I really like Kira-kun. I really like Kira-kun.” Kira looks at her in surprise. After thinking that is fine, Nino looks at the side to see Kira. She becomes embarrassed and shouts his name. Covering his face, blushing Kira thinks wait, in the end, what is this excessively cute living creature, making him to also want to shout out love. The two blush and look at each other. He greets her a Merry Christmas. She greets him back. At the train, Nino informs Kira that Sensei has something to do so he didn’t come. She says that she thinks that he’s being considerate to them and he’s acting quite like an adult. Kira sweatdrops and thinks that it is more feminine. Then, she asks him if it is really okay that she wants to go to the aquarium today. “Aren’t there any new things in your want-to-do list?” Kira says that even if he wrote some, he thinks that it won’t come true like meeting with a space alien or perhaps, try out becoming a woman. This surprises Nino. He tells her to forget it, he already has something that he really wants to do. “But, it ought to be not quite easy to happen[/accomplish].” As Nino looks at him, it is announced that the train is arriving Otowa. Standing up, Kira says that they’ve arrived, and he’ll think of other things next time but first, they are going to have fun until it hurts. Nino says okay.

At an aquarium, Kira tells her that he’ll buy the tickets so wait for him here. Nino offers to pay but Kira tells her that there’s no need, he’ll treat her. As Nino thanks him, Kira takes out his wallet and says that he’ll go ahead. Nino notices that he drops something. She picks it up and sees that it is a condom. After a pause, Nino falls down in shock. Embarrassed, she quickly shoves it in her bag and wonders why he would carry around that kind of thing. Then, she recalls Kira saying that he already thought of something he really wanted to do. Nino wonders, “Could it be..” Kira arrives and asks what’s up with her, he already bought the tickets. Nino exclaims that it is nothing. While they are watching jellyfishes, Nino glances at Kira and wonders if it is because she told him that in trying out everything, she doesn’t want it if it isn’t together with him. “It’s definitely that, right? Wait..is it okay today!? It’s too sudden and I don’t know what I should do!!” Kira looks at the side and looks surprised. He tells Nino to look over there. She did and is surprised to see Yabe watching the fishes together with Rei. Approaching them, Kira exclaims that this is a good coincidence, and what’s up with this pairing. Holding up his hand, Yabe screams that it is Kira and Nino. While Kira sweatdrops over Yabe’s reaction, Nino greets Rei and says that she’s startled for it turns out their relationship is quite good. Blushing Yabe exclaims no, it isn’t, don’t misunderstand, their relationship isn’t good at all. “I also don’t know why I’m here. Early this morning, she suddenly went to my house and called me to go to the aquarium together with her. And, by the way, I’ve already used up all my reserved contact lenses.” Rei’s stomach growls so she orders Yabe to buy some sweet beverage for her since she’s hungry. Yabe shouts who’ll go and she didn’t give him such a big favor. Kira wonders what this favor is. Putting his arm around Yabe, Kira says that he’ll go buy with Yabe. By the stairs, Kira says so that’s it, thanks to Rei, Yabe went to see him that time. Yabe tells him that after Kira met with Nino again [at the train station], he had reported to Rei about their smooth progress then Rei demanded a payback from him, and forcefully made him tell her his home address and email. Yabe complains why he wasn’t able to resist and he also doesn’t know her reason. Kira wonders if it is because of Yabe’s physique. Then, Kira asks if it is because Rei is concerned about him because when she was young, she always stayed in the hospital and her communication ability is quite inferior. “Possibly, Rei wants to properly get along with you, Yabe.”

This surprises Yabe. Slightly blushing with pointy nose [arrogant], Yabe says that he can say that or possibly, he thinks too much that girl LIKES him. Looking surprised, Kira says no way, for Rei has a boyfriend. This made Yabe freeze and thinks, what, then don’t kiss him. “Well, forget it, anyway, the one I like is Okamura, and like this is okay. Also, I still have Kira.” Yabe glances at Kira with hearts. Kira feels a sudden chill. =P While sitting, Nino says that the two are quite slow and what are they doing somewhere. Rei is staring at Nino and asks her if something happened between her and Kira. This surprises Nino that Rei asks if they had a quarrel. Embarrassed Nino says no, she is only thinking of what Kira wants to do. She asks if Rei wants to hear it. Then, she whispers it to Rei. While blushing and holding her face, Nino says, “Rei, if it’s you, would you do it.” Rei bluntly replies, “I’ll do it.” Nino sweatdrops and says, is that so. Rei says that they are lovers and it just happens to be Christmas day, so it could be said that it is inevitable. “There’s only one most important thing is, Nino-chan, you are prepared to do it.” Nino looks thoughtful. After bidding goodbye to Yabe and Rei, Kira and Nino continue on with their date. While Kira is delighted that the dolphin held his hand, Nino wonders if it were her.. While walking in the streets, Nino says that it is snowing so it is really a White Christmas. Kira says that it is a bit cold tonight. Then, a Santa guy gives Nino a ‘love’ balloon. He greets her a Merry Christmas, and tells her to give it together with her gift to the person she likes. Nino thanks him. Nino realizes that she actually didn’t buy a gift. She glances at Kira who is looking below from the building [where they are]. She asks him what’s up. Kira says that the colorful lights are lit and they’re very beautiful. “I’m engraving this scene into my eyes. *people are walking around and a couple saying that they’ll go see it again next year* For me, this might possibly be the last Christmas. *Nino looks surprised* Just like this, *looks at Nino* in such a beautiful scenery, sentimental script would also come out. *Nino asks, huh* Ya Tebya Lubliu [Я тебя люблю; Russian], Ti Amo [Italian], Obicham Te [Обичам те Bulgarian], Ich Liebe Dich [German] *Nino exclaims what he means, please..in Japanese.* ‘I love you’-type [of words]” Nino feels like crying as she looks at Kira’s smiling face. Stretching his arms, Kira asks Nino what they are going to do next. Flustered Nino says that they’re going home.

In Kira’s room, he takes off his coat and says that she might be hungry so how about they make something together. Then, he takes the remote control to open the air conditioner since it is quite cold. Sitting in seiza-style, Nino lets her hair down and says that today, she is too flustered that she didn’t prepare a gift. Puzzled Kira says that he, too, and why is she letting her hair down. Pulling the ‘love’ balloon to her, Nino says, “But, I’ve suddenly got it ready. *holding the balloon on her lap* If it is okay, I beg of you to please enjoy [/take pleasure from] me!!” Kira is stunned. Covering her blushing face, Nino exclaims that she didn’t expect that she would suddenly say those words. Blushing Kira tells her to wait, stop, what does that mean. Nino exclaims that he’s asking her, wasn’t he the one who wanted to do it. Kira goes huh. This made Nino take out the condom from her bag and exclaim, this, this. With huge eyes, Kira quickly snatches it from her and exclaims why she has that thing. Nino tells him that it fell out from his pocket. Kira says is that so, she discovered it. “You’re mistaken. This is something that your father gave to me. *Nino is shock that she lets go of the balloon* Didn’t he gave me a small envelope yesterday?” Nino goes huh. Kira explains that he didn’t change his pants so he is still wearing yesterday’s, and of course, it shouldn’t be that he is encouraging them to do it, rather a kind of control. Nino sweatdrops over always having that kind of thinking and it turns out to be a huge misunderstanding. She blushes really red and hides under the quilt. She shouts that it is too humiliating and don’t look at her. She exclaims that she is going home with a quilt like this. As Nino’s head is peeking out of the quilt, Kira goes on top of her. He smiles and says, “Thank you but there’s no need to force yourself [to do it].” Nino looks at him and replies, “I’m not forcing myself. *Kira looks surprised* I truly *giggles* also really want to be touched, Kira-kun.” Kira seems to be moved and he bends down to her. [I don’t know if he kissed her but] Then, they were startled when Sensei exclaims that the lights are open. Flying to the balcony, Sensei calls out to Nino if she has come back. Sensei is surprised to see Kira on top of Nino who is underneath the quilt. This made Sensei shout, “Curly hair, what are you planning to do!! Just because I’m not around, you dare do this kind of thing!! Come out together with me!!! [<- something like a challenge to fight?]” Kira angrily says that is what he’s thinking, since he unexpectedly hindered him. While the two are fussing about, Nino stands up and thinks that she feels at ease. Then, she notices a note on the table. It is the list of what Kira wants to do before he dies. Nino picks up the note and wonders in the end, what is it that Kira wants to do. Then, she looks surprised upon reading it.

Comment: Aw..too bad Sensei interrupted. This might make Sensei put up his guard on Kira next time but then, he didn’t know that Nino has already agreed to it. Their Christmas date is nice ^-^ Kira saying ‘I love you’ in different languages and Nino offering herself as his Christmas gift. Who would have thought that condom in the last chapter would actually be ‘crucial’ in this chapter =P Hm..it is a surprise that Rei actually already has a boyfriend. Are they still going together? No wonder, it seems that Rei is somewhat experienced/mature in some way compared to Nino. If she isn’t romantically interested in Yabe, I guess Rei likes to ‘bully him around’ and Yabe is ‘easily bullied around’. ^^;; Also, probably like what Kira hinted, she probably wants to be friends with him, too. So, what does Kira wanted to do but it is not quite easily to accomplish? The only thing in my mind is he wants to marry her =P What’s your guess? Anyway, there are some more other ‘lovers’ holidays coming soon like New Year and V-day..and probably some ‘troubles’ in between. Scans by 离境汉化组
