Holding a marker pen and signboard, Riko’s father exclaims to Shun that isn’t he Crude Play’s Shun, please sign an autograph. The other bystanders look at surprised Shun. Aki is amused. Smiling brightly, Shun says okay and would he be writing his [Riko’s father] name. Riko’s father tells him to write, ‘For Koeda Vegetable Store’ then at the side, ‘the tomatoes are very delicious’. Riko angrily calls out to her father and says that is like deceiving people, it’s so embarrassing, don’t do that. Riko’s father says that it is okay for this is a rare opportunity. Riko exclaims that isn’t the problem. Shun laughs and says that he already wrote it. As he open the door of his car, Shun tells Aki to get in first because his car is a two-door type and he’ll be sitting at the back. Aki protests if that means Riko would be sitting at the ‘co-pilot’[front passenger] seat, why?? Shun says that they are going for a drive even if it is just to go to the rehearsal and since it is rare to have a girl, how can he give that ‘co-pilot’ seat to a guy. While Riko is wide-eyed quiet, Aki protests that Riko is his girlfriend. Shun says that this is his car. “If you’re quite frustrated, *shiny smile* why don’t you get a driver’s license?♡” And, jealous Aki ends up in the backseat. In the car, Shun tells Riko to wear the seatbelt. Riko couldn’t pull it so Shun leans to her and asks where it is stuck, and how about trying this side. Aki freaks out and complains what they are doing and they’re too close. He pushes both away from each other and shouts for them to separate a bit. Riko angrily shouts at him that he’s annoying. This made Aki cry and quietly sit at the back. Shun hi-fives Riko and says that she got a great reply. While Shun is driving, Riko happily says that it’s the first time she’s on a high speed highway. Shun says that he likes to go fast at an elevated place [<- paid flyover]. He tells Riko that he’ll bring down the window. The side window goes down and it made Riko happily exclaims that this feels comfortable. Shun is amused over the annoying guy at the back who is complaining that Riko’s first experience has been stolen by some other guy. Aki mutters whether he should also get a driver’s license. Riko just shouts that the sea is so beautiful. Shun laughs for Riko didn’t hear what Aki said. Embarrassed Aki angrily shouts that he’s noisy. Riko taps her shoe and starts singing, “On the coastline, I tune into Wave FM♪ and immerse myself in it♬ This skilled surfer was crying at night in the dark sea♪ When the sun goes down I miss you♫” [From Judy and Mary’s Brand New Wave Upper Ground. The guys are surprised. Then, Aki looks moved [in love] with Riko. Shun sees Aki blushing from the rear view mirror that Shun burst into laughter. Shun starts to sing with her that Riko exclaims that it is like CP’s Shun LIVE “Pain flows through the heart that once held our dreams♪ *Riko sings along again* Our days of love end their journey at the equator *Aki joins in* If you follow the tailwind the clouds disappear♬ *Aki and Riko clapping along* The spotlight from the lighthouse♪ searches the blue sky♫” At the studio, irked Shinya asks what he is thinking that he brought a girl to the workplace. Shun, Aki and Riko have frozen smiles on their face. The staff members are tense for Shinya said it out loud. Shinya asks again, “I’m asking you, why?” The three still have frozen expressions. Shun thinks this is bad and they’re in trouble, Aki thinks that it is like this, this is for sure, why didn’t I think about it before. Riko is thinking that it is, it is, sorry, she was overly happy (cries). Shinya says that before bringing along the singer Mushroom, they should mention it to him first as MUSH&CO’s producer so what is their explanation. Aki says that he makes sense for if Mushroom isn’t a singer, it is unforgivable for her to come here. Nervous Riko exclaims that she’s going home. Aki says that it is decided, it will be fine if Mushroom is their guest. Everyone exclaims, “Ha?” Aki says that today, while passing and seeing the coastline, Shun and Riko sang Brand New Upper Ground. Shinya says that is Judy and Mary’s [song]. Aki says that he felt quite happy that he is doing a bit of self-reflection for it seems that the songs he made for Shun makes him frown. He tells the semi-bored band members that even if he didn’t make a song that he regretted but speaking of this, it is only at their first album that there is a lively-style song and it is the song before their first debut. “And, it seems that there’s none [after it]. *stops walking* Yes. So I’m saying, let’s add one more song.” Riko glances at the speechless CP members. The staff members are speechless tense. Shinya sighs and tells Aki not to be carried away by a whim and doing what he wants to do. “Do you know that more changes at this time would just give us and the staff more burden?” Aki protests that don’t they want to hear it. “Shun beaming with joy. Ah, also in MST, I also thought that. Shinya, weren’t you also smiling when you were playing the guitar. *Shun and Shinya look tense* That makes one very envious since you look quite happy. But when you’re playing my music, you don’t have that kind of expression.”

Tense Shun claps and says that it can be resolved with overtime, right. “Anyway, the songs are done already.” Aki says no, he wants to write a new song. Aki looks happy while everyone has turned into stone. Holding up his palm, Aki says that it will be quick, he’ll write right now, and 5 minutes is enough. Shinya shouts how can it possibly be done in 5 minutes. Aki says no, it only takes him 5 minutes to write the theme and afterwards, each band member would think together to revise.. Shinya says that he’s not a newbie so he should know that during rehearsals, it continues until midnight or much later on. Putting a cute pose, Aki asks, ..[let’s] overnight? “But it will absolutely make the audience very excited, right? The fans who came to see us LIVE [in concert], aren’t they very important for us? In order to make them happy, we will do anything, right? And, it only takes us overnight to finish it!” After a pause, Shinya says that they temporarily don’t talk first about surging up the concert mood, there is a pending discussion on making Mushroom a concert guest, for that won’t make people be overjoyed about it. An older staff member agrees for among the fans, there is definitely people who’ll hate to see Shun together with a girl. Aki says yes, but they have to insist on this because they are not [a] idol [group]. Shinya says that is a bit of contradiction with showing smiles to fans while starting off. Aki says no, the carrying out with a smile refers to the music, the melody and making Mushroom sing is also for the music. “Is it already okay? *folded arms* And just like Shinya said, we don’t have time. I don’t want to continue discussing this so-called pending discussion.” Shinya didn’t answer. Kaoru and Teppei look at each other. The staff members tensely smiles. Putting on the earphones, Shun says okay but right now, is not about composing. He tells them that they’ll do it after they finished the schedule for the rehearsal and everyone is totally busy that gathering here together is giving everyone inconvenience. Aki agrees that they start with the rehearsal. After looking stunned, Riko snaps out of it. Putting on his glasses, Aki says that they’ll start with yesterday’s sixth [song]. Shun calls out to confirm again when it ended yesterday. Riko doesn’t know what to do so she decides to go home.

Just when Riko is opening the door, Aki shouts where she is going. Riko goes ha? Pointing at her, serious Aki shouts that in short, she first stay at that side to watch and learn the mood from experience. “Because you are still a newbie when it comes to concert performance so grow up as much as possible and strive hard in learning.” This made Riko aghast and tremble, wondering who that guy is. Aki exclaims, “Answer!” Teary-eyed Riko says, “..yes. YES!!!” CP members think, “Welcome to hell.” At Marvel Office, Shibaken is googling for Riko’s pictures. There are pictures of her goofing around, candid poses, and silly faces. Shibaken says that she is really crude and next time they meet, he’ll call her attention to this, she’s so silly. Then, he sees Riko’s picture with Pepsi. He mutters she’s so cool but she’s a mushroom head. The manager asks if he’s listening. Shibaken quickly keeps his cellphone. The manager tells him that it has been decided that Suzushiro Emi would be his partner in the next television drama. Shibaken complains that he doesn’t like Emi and bullying MMAN is very famous. A note says that MMEN is the abbreviation for Kaitouranma famous personalities, the boy idol group belonging to Marvel Office. [<- Ah, I’m not too sure on this part. ^^;] The manager tensely asks if he’s for real. Shibaken says that if Emi is the partner in the drama, it might provoke the Mgirls into anger. A note says that Mgirls are MMAN fans. Shibaken complains that for ‘Shibaken’ and Suzuhiro Emi to team up, it isn’t a bit fresh at all, and it doesn’t make people feel pleasantly surprised. Looking at the list, the manager says that there is no one who is equally famous as him. Shibaken tells his manager to go with the trend for right now, the audience is sick of seeing that acting combination. “If we don’t plan to make the audience have this feeling of ‘Ah, I watch to check it out a bit’ then, no one would watch it. Right now is that kind of era, right?” Then, the manager suggests that they get Mushroom. This surprises Shibaken. Checking his cellphone, the manager checks Riko in Youtube and says Mush&Co’s lead singer, how is her acting, that will make people a bit curious. Pretending to be cool about it, Shibaken says that seems to be not bad at all. The manager says that it is impossible to do it. Shibaken exclaims why. The manager says that it is because their companies[/studios] are different and with the artist’s identity as selling point, one cannot act in a television drama.

Shibaken exclaims that it is better to go into acting. “Your way of thinking is too conservative[/old fashioned]! And speaking of that, didn’t Mika Nakashima [famously known for playing Nana O. for live action movie Nana] and DragonAsh’s Kenji Furuya [<-couldn’t find the drama he acted in] also acted in television dramas!!” At Office Takagi, Soichiro goes huh, why did Aki casually decided on his own about making Riko appearing onstage. His assistant says that is what Aki is saying. Soichiro says that it is too early for Riko to go solo and everyone is.. Soichiro reads an email from Ikeda Kyoko saying that she saw MST and Mushroom-chan is cuter while singing LIVE. She wrote that Soichiro is still the same as before, overly conservative[/protective] when there is indeed aesthetic judgment [eye for beauty/talent]. She also wrote for Soichiro to believe in the talent that he discovered. The assistant reads the email and asks if it is from the Empress. Kyoko ends the email with, “So. Bring Mushroom-chan to my house. I don’t need the two guys behind her. It is only Mushroom-chan whom I had taken a fancy on. Daiwa TV Ikeda Kyoko [Daiwa is guesswork name].” The assistant laughs over the Empress hating lip-synching. Soichiro says that if at this time, they make Riko go on a solo act that equates to Mush&Co. already disbanding and on contrary, they cannot go onstage as a band since they don’t have the ability[/experience] to go LIVE in front of the audience. This made the assistant flustered. Soichiro laughs and says that he also doesn’t have the courage to refuse the Empress. The assistant asks what they should do. Soichiro thinks while smoking. Then, the assistant’s phone starts ringing. He answers the phone and becomes surprised. He asks if the Mushroom they are talking about is the Mushroom under their company, it is okay but.. He looks at Soichiro so Soichiro asks what it is. The assistant says that it is the one in charge with the Saikyou TV of Kaitouranma’s Shibaken and they’re asking about making Mushroom the female lead. This made Soichiro scowl and think that each and everyone are like this. At school, Yuu continues to practice after school when everyone had already left. He thinks that he must quickly become good as soon as possible. Then, he loses his grip on the Mush&Co guitar pick that it falls down on the floor. There is a scene of CP practicing when Aki calls out to Riko to come to him and Riko goes to him. Yuu picks up the guitar pick and curses for if he cannot do it, he has no way of staying beside Riko.

Comment: Ah, in showbiz, when you make a great performance, everyone wants you. Riko’s popularity is soaring and it turns out that Shibaken’s purpose in this story is, aside from having a crush on her, it is to make Riko into a singer-actress. I wonder how Riko will fare as an actress but then with all those future works, it might drive Mari crazy with jealous :P Even if he’s young, Shibaken knows the industry quite well. I’m not sure what the Empress want Riko for..maybe to mentor her? Soichiro seems to be now inclined to immediately let Riko go solo because of what everyone is doing/offers for only Riko. Poor Yuu, it seems that there won’t be ‘two years’, because ‘club activity’ seems to be ending/has already ended. Just like what his father mentioned, they only care about Riko. Hm..but they still have a contract with OT so maybe Soichiro would just compensate them for cancelling the contract. I’m curious though how Riko would react to this. Unlike CP, Riko won’t be able to keep her friends as band members in this industry. Would she take those solo offers or abandon her friends? The first part is nice. Shun really has charisma that he hit it off with Riko. I think he is getting back at Aki for slave-driving him during the rehearsal or he’s just being playful. =P He is also gracious enough to sign for the advertisement of Riko’s father. It is also nice how they sang together in the car. And with this new song of Aki, not only can he make the audience have a ‘surprise’ over it, but he also gets to make a song for Riko. I guess as a composer, Aki is challenged to write a song to make his singers and musicians become happy while singing and performing it. Because of this and the Shibaken drama, I don’t think the fans would be that jealous of Riko to think that there is an ‘exclusive’ relationship with any guys. Well, there will still be jealous fans..the Reiko-types. In the music area, it seems that Aki can ‘win’ against Shinya and the others regarding what he wants but not in things outside of music :P And, it seems that Riko got to see demon/strict-mode Aki.
