Hachimitsu ni Hatsukoi [Chapter 30]

While Touya is blushing after the three seconds direct look to know if you like the other person, Koharu calls out his name. Touya immediately looks away and leaves. Koharu thinks that Touya seems to be blushing so he must have realized that he likes that girl in his dream. She is glad if it is like that for if he were also able to be aware of love, he’ll definitely experience the beauty of love. Behind a wall, flustered Touya is cursing for even if he perceived this kind of feeling, he is also powerless. At home, Koharu has just finished baking a honey lemon cake. She tells the twins to wash their hands first. Then, she notices that Natsuki is already eating it. She tells him not to secretly eat it. Natsuki gives her an alibi that he’s hungry after club activity. Koharu suggests that she bring this cake over to the soccer club as a gift. Natsuki refuses. Koharu asks why. Lying on the sofa, Natsuki says that it is before the competition so everyone is on tight nerves. Natsuki recalls how his co-members in the club teased him about Koharu. He mutters that he cannot accept for Koharu to be looked obscenely like that. Then, his eyes widen upon seeing Koharu’s cleavage. He sits up and Koharu apologizes for startling him when she is trying to put a blanket on him. Recalling how they ask her if he had H[/sex] with her, Natsuki stands up and says that he’s a bit tired so he’ll go to sleep first. As Koharu bids him good night, she thinks that he looks tired. She decides to still give the cake as long as she isn’t a hindrance. At the soccer clubroom, Koharu is surprised over how messy it is. Natsuki and the others aren’t around. Koharu starts to unconsciously tidy things up. Someone calls out who is there. It is Akagi who says that it is a cute girl, is she a first year student. Koharu apologizes for coming in without permission. Koharu stares at Akagi’s chest and is amazed over how big it is. Akagi asks if she is the one who tidied things up. Koharu starts apologizing for it again but Akagi holds her hands and welcomes her as an angel♡ 

After the training, Naohiro says that first year will clean up the clubroom afterwards. Just when Natsuki is protesting, he notices that the clubroom is already tidied up. Holding some towels for them, Akagi tells them good work on the jogging. They were amazed over how clean it is and they wonder how it happened. Holding a cake box, Akagi says that since they are all tired, there is cake for them. Everyone exclaims that it is delicious. Upon biting it, Natsuki immediately realizes that it is Koharu who made it. Akagi is amazed that as a childhood friend, he knows. Akagi pulls out Koharu who is hiding by the side and informs them it is Natsuki’s girlfriend, Koharu, who did it all. Just as Natsuki is about to call her name, his co-members push him away and exclaim that it is Natsuki’s childhood girlfriend. They say that she’s really cute, small, and their Natsuki must have giving her trouble, joking. They tell her that idiot Natsuki hasn’t forced her right, and he’s still young so continue to work hard[/gambatte]. Puzzled over what they are saying, Koharu just says, ya. Just when someone is saying that she’s really cute, Natsuki pulls Koharu away from them and walks away with her. After walking some distance, Koharu asks if it is alright to just run away like that. Natsuki tells her that he told her not to go to the club. Since he is scowling, Koharu realizes that he is angry. Koharu sheepishly apologizes for she only wanted to give the cake and quickly leave but the manager came.. Natsuki isn’t answering. Thinking that it is her fault for just going in, Koharu tells him that there’s no need to be that angry since everyone are happy to eat the snack and they even greeted her. Looking away, Koharu says that it is quite rude to just leave while the senpai-s are still talking so, she’s going back.. To her surprise, Natsuki corners her to the wall and tells her not to go. He says that afterwards, she is forbidden from going to the soccer club. Blushing, Koharu asks what’s up with that, why. Thinking of an alibi, Natsuki blurts out that compared with the manager’s, Koharu’s chest is quite pitiful..so, don’t go to the soccer club again.

Koharu smiles and asks if he also likes big chests. Koharu glares at Natsuki. She punches him away and shouts that he’s a jerk[/bastard]. She tells him that she won’t go to the soccer club again and he can just go be intimate with the big breasts manager. As Natsuki watches Koharu run off, he thinks that it has been a long time since this happened. Standing beside him, Akagi tells him that it would be okay if he just told the truth by directly saying that he doesn’t want other guys looking at his girlfriend. Then, she says that it seems that they haven’t progress a step further and it’s hard to believe that they are neighbors, for that should have made things convenient. Natsuki says about that, he wants to conform to Koharu’s pacing because she’s very important. Koharu slams her shoes in the shoe locker and walks to the committee room. She decides to give Natsuki a Hinomaru [/Japan flag] bento tomorrow = all rice with one plum in the middle. Then, she meets up with Aki by the hallway. Koharu says nice timing so how about they go to the activity committee room together. Aki apologizes for today Touya is absent because of a cold so she must bring to him some data so for today, Koharu can finish up work, together with Nishina. Koharu asks if it is with Nishina, only the two of them. Taking the paper, Koharu says that she’ll be the one to help her bring the data to Touya. While Koharu happily walks on the streets, she thinks that she did that because it is very important to have the opportunity to be alone together with the person one likes. She is glad to give some time for those two. Then, she arrives at a two story apartment. While ringing the doorbell, Koharu finds it quite unexpected that Touya is living in such an ordinary apartment for she thought he’s rich. Touya opens the door and is surprised to see smiling Koharu. Narration: “It would be good if rather than me, it is the girl whom Tsudzuki-kun likes who came. If it is now, given the opportunity for him to be alone with that girl, obviously, that romantic love would definitely have some progress.”

Comment: Hehe, is this some sort of comedy? ^^; It turns out that Koharu is totally clueless regarding issues that is related/about her. She thinks that Touya blushing is because of some other girl. I wonder if what Touya mentioned about being powerless is regarding his own issue or is it because Koharu already has a boyfriend. It is amusing how Natsuki tried his best to get Koharu as far as away from his co-members and unintentionally ‘pushes’ her to Touya. =P It got me wondering if later on, that would make Koharu hang around with the ‘mysterious pianist’ after school. Even if Touya would most likely be ‘cannon fodder’/will not get the girl, his character intrigues me even if it might be just a somewhat cliché background. I also thought that he was some rich guy but it turns out that he lives in an ordinary apartment and that kind of apartment are usually low-class. My guess is that he used to be rich or possibly, disowned by his family. He isn’t into love would most probably stem from his parents’ separation/divorce. With the talk of progress, I wonder if it will be with Natsuki, Touya or both. With Natsuki, it would most probably on sex. Touya would probably realize his feelings though I’m not sure where that would lead to..okay, most likely unrequited love. He doesn’t seem sick at all and I get a feeling that he lives alone/is currently alone based on Koharu’s ending narration. Ah, it is amusing = not taking this seriously, when the ‘other guy’ is trying to avoid the girl who already has a boyfriend, but she innocently just kept coming ‘at’ him. ^^;; Scans by 夜莺工作室
