Christmas Greetings & Last Game extras

I’m not sure if these are available in English but then, I’ll just put it up here. These are two extras after the marriage that I found. I scanlated the first one into English since it is just one page. The other one is the usual summary.

Last Game [Side Story: 2 months after the confession]

This is a story of Kujou and Yanagi as lovers, two months after the airport confession. Yanagi is aghast when Kujou apologizes that she cannot eat out with him. There is a vacancy at the preparatory school’s special course that she wants to attend.

Last Game [Chapter 56] -Fin-

Flashback: The teacher introduced young Kujou as the new transfer student and she hopes that everyone get along with her. Yanagi thought that she is so plain and gloomy that as a whole, she looks so shabby. Narration: “—That is the day when we first met and who can predict that we’ll welcome a day like this.”

Last Game [Chapter 55 + Souma's Side Story]

After Yanagi came back to the country.. In the club room, Yanagi happily holds up Kujou’s hand and announces that they have started going steady. Miyabe congratulates him. Eating a biscuit, Fujimoto asks Souma to pass over the tea. Handling a thermos to Fujimoto, Souma says that this biscuit is very delicious.

Last Game [Chapter 54]

Flashback: Pointing at her, young Yanagi exclaimed, “You’re just a transfer student who’s quite arrogant!” In high school, Yanagi said, “As expected you plan on still not having friends when you go into high school, right?” There’s a scene of Yanagi holding Kujou’s hand while in the car. End flashback.

Final arc start-!! It is already the new year since that night when Yanagi hugged Kujou and said, “After I finish sorting things up, --will you listen to what I’ll say?” Walking in the streets with Kujou and Tachibana, Fujimoto exclaims that she was able to buy it.

This happened on Valentine’s day during first year high school. A girl calls out to Yanagi and asks if he can come over for a while. After he returns with a box of chocolate, his classmate complains that he got called out again. Another classmate tells him that he can go home already for he is like that early in the morning.

It’s December 24. Clenching his fist, Yanagi thinks that finally, it is Christmas Eve--.. This is considered a first from the Christmas holidays those past 10 years. Flashback: Last year, Yanagi said that anyway, Kujou is all alone during Christmas and seeing that she’s quite pitiful, let the amazing him..

As the girls gather around, Tachibana complains about wanting to have a boyfriend. She really doesn’t wish to get in an exclusive female college..and she is already sick of goukons [/group blind dates] when obviously, she still wanted to find someone who’ll like her true self next time.

Last Game [Chapter 51]

Coming out of the accounting school, Kujou thinks that it is so cold and it might snow very soon. She overhears a couple of guys talking. One of the guys says that he really cannot do the mock exam that is going to be held on the day after tomorrow. His friend tells him to forget that because after the exam, it is Christmas so at least they can relax a bit on Christmas. Kujou thinks Christmas..it is already that time..and speaking of that she doesn’t know when the decorations will be put up. Before, she always spent Christmas together with her mother. There is a scene of Miwa giving Kujou a slice of cake. But, this year, she will be on a night shift so what to do.. She plans to bake a cake then read a book afterwards because it seems that Shiori and Miyabe are going to Disney Ocean [<- probably referring to Disney Sea]. As for Yanagi, what are his plans..? Somewhere else, Yanagi in a business suit goes inside a huge building and informs the receptionist that he has an appointment at 16 o’ clock with the department head of the design division, Terayama [guesswork from 寺山].

Last Game [Chapter 50]

[Free Talk: Hehe, okay, this is out. It is an easy chapter. The English scanlation isn’t out yet. Changed my mind so, here you go, for those who are still interested ^^; ]

Kujou says, ‘Only you..’ Surprised Yanagi asks if she means that towards him, she.. Kujou says that’s right. “I like..” Ring. Ring. Ring. And, Yanagi’s dream is interrupted by his sister screaming that the alarm clock is annoying to death yet he still won’t get up!! And, with an aghast look and dark eyebags, Yanagi goes into the kitchen where his mother says that he looks awful. Yanagi thinks that on that day, he didn’t know how he managed to arrive home. Blank expression Yanagi. On the second day, he and his family went out together the whole day so in the end, he wasn’t able to contact Kujou and when he went to sleep, he had that kind of dream.. While having breakfast with his family except for the father who went to work, his mother asks if Yanagi had a dream. Yanagi mutters, dream..perhaps..he thinks that he already doesn’t know anymore. And, perhaps, everything is just a dream.. Ryouko comments that there’s something wrong with this guy. At school, at the study hall, Fujimoto exclaims that Kujou had said that. Kujou says that she wants to strive hard and Souma is also supporting her. She tells Fujimoto that she doesn’t know if her feelings were adequately conveyed to Yanagi for in the end, she got embarrassed and ran away.

Free Talk: Blog Stuff regarding some series

Okay, from what I can understand from their post, according to Redfaces/红莲汉化组 [Chinese scanlator of Skip Beat, Akatsuki no Yona, Namaikizakari and Last Game], they had closed the registration to their forum. All their comics are prohibited from being reproduced, and I think they will release them one week after the sale date. But then, that might be only for the people in the forum since their recent updates are manga that has been sold in Japan a long time ago but it cannot be viewed publicly. Unless, they mean one week after they uploaded it in their forum. ^^;

Someone in baidu wondered if it is connected to the arrests of Chinese nationals who had uploaded scans on the internet. So I checked it out a bit. It is One Piece raws to Mangapanda on November 13. Then, The 7 Deadly sins for Red Hawk on November 18.

So, I’m not sure if the other Chinese scanlators will follow. For now, if no one/group scanlates in Chinese or it is already English scanlated/summarized, summaries for the mentioned series cannot/will no longer be worked on. Edit: I forgot that they are also working on Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru with another group so I'm not sure if that is affected. Sorry, but this is beyond my control and I had always been dependent on Chinese scanlations for the summaries. ^^;;

I guess because of this, Chinese scanlation’s releases had considerably been delayed than usual these few months except for Redfaces. It is either that or they are just busy with other things. ^^; Anyway, we’ll just see how this goes. 

I still have a few pending summaries to do so I'll work on that in the meantime. 

Update on November 23: Okay, checking the Redfaces/红莲汉化组 forum, they got Akatsuki no Yona 115 and Namaikizakari 36 up yesterday, November 22th. So, we’ll wait a week to see if they’ll release it publicly or not. If not, it will be only for them.

Last Game [Chapter 49]

After his father told him to go to the US with him, Yanagi exclaims in shock. His father says that he’ll study abroad and of course, he’ll have to stay at that side for at least a year. “Right now, it is the winter of your second year in college so it isn’t at all impossible, right.” Yanagi says that of course he knows that it is possible, but.. His father says that it is not often that there is this kind of this opportunity. “I think that it can really help you. You can treat it as going into an internship ahead of time. In short, think of it carefully, okay.” Then, someone is calling out to Yanagi. Yanagi snaps out of it when Kujou asks him if senpai’s house is in this district. Yanagi says ah yes. She says that it is fortunate that the weather is very nice. Yanagi agrees with her. Yanagi recalls that today they came to help out their senpai, the black-haired one, move house and he has no way yet of thinking about what his father told him before.. Kujou says that lately, he is always lost in thought, so what’s up? Yanagi says ah, it’s nothing.. He stares at Kujou and thinks of staying in US for a year.. Holding his head, he thinks that just thinking of the issue regarding whether to succeed or not is already quite troublesome, so how come there is this thing coming up..! Ah~~

Last Game [Chapter 48]

On Saturday, a female customer calls out to Yanagi and asks for a menu. Smiling Yanagi says okay. After he turns around, he curses for he had unexpectedly forgotten that he has work today. This morning, his father says ‘good luck’ [/gambatte] with his work and he’s going. Yanagi suspects that his stinky father learned of that information so he intentionally chosen this day. “By the way, what has he got up his sleeve.. Could it be like what is always shown in the television drama.. [Yanagi’s father furiously shouts, “That girl doesn’t suit you!”] That kind of scene..!?” <- Yanagi hasn’t thought that he and Kujou aren’t suitable. Just when he thinks of what his father is thinking, the café’s bell rang. He turns to welcome the customers and is shock for it is his father and Kujou. His father waves his hand to Yanagi. While Yanagi is speechless from shock, his father says that he wanted to see Yanagi hard at work so he asked Kujou to accompany him. When Yanagi is about to scold Kujou for being meddlesome, his father apologizes to Kujou for lately, his daughter practically doesn’t want to go out with him.. “My son is also always cold like this.. I had unwittingly depended on you that I’ve asked this favor..”

Last Game [Chapter 47]

Holding on to Yanagi, Kujou says, “About that..!” Puzzled Yanagi calls out her name. To his shock, Kujou corners him on a tree and says, “..I..I’m going to say it..!” Yanagi is freaking out for she never before had this ‘killer chi/aura’ <- Kujou’s killer chi is soaring. Kujou says, “..li..li..li.. (‘like you’ want to say ‘I like you’)” [<- In Japanese, the li is ‘su’ as in suki/like in Japanese] Aghast Yanagi wonders could it be that she wanted to say susu and it looks like, that at any time she pleases, she can take his life!? Kujou says, “Li.. *mouth open* ...it’s nothing..” This startles Yanagi. He asks her what’s up with her for saying such frightening words to frighten someone. With heavy steps, Kujou turns around and says that it is nothing, they should quickly go back to eat. Yanagi calls out to her and asks what she meant by that. Behind some bushes, Miyabe has heard everything. <- at that time he is watching the stars. Miyabe thinks that it wasn’t deliberate but it just so happen that he is at the scene of that tragic unsuccessful confession..

Last Game [Chapter 46]

After the club members had dinner, Fujimoto exclaims that it is really delicious. Yoshida asks if they want to play UNO. [<- card game wherein you’ll have to say UNO if it is your last card or else, you’ll draw another one. The one who puts away all of his/her cards wins] Everyone agrees with the idea. Yoshida says okay, he’ll win and the last one will be punished! And, 10 minutes after they started the game, Kujou lifelessly says, ‘UNO’. While the others are still playing, Kujou is wiping the table with a rag. Fujimoto comments that afterwards, Kujou is concentrating on cleaning the room..and it turns out that she is that type who would work upon encountering something unfavorable..really nice.. Tachibana asks if Fujimoto remembers that at the onsen, Kujou would wipe the washbasin. Souma, who has already UNO too, asks Fujimoto what had happened. Still holding her cards, she tells him that just now it is because of this and that. Souma looks sideways and goes ha. Fujimoto asks if he was sneering at Yanagi just now. Yanagi seems puzzled over what they are talking about. Fujimoto comments that Yanagi has already recovered to his original self and his heart must have become very strong since he used to easily become downcast..

Last Game [Chapter 45]

Ryouko tells her mother that she heard that next week, Yanagi will be going to gramps’ place. Her mother says that’s right, Yanagi says that he’ll go with Kujou along with his club friends. Ryouko says that isn’t it just in time when her father is coming back to the country. Giving her a drink, her mother says yes, but it is good that this time around, he’ll temporarily stay first at this side for a short while as he goes out with his friends. [<- or comrades; probably to entertain his associates at work] Rrring.. The mother goes to answer the phone. The other party asks if it is Michiyo, it’s him. Michiyo happily calls out to her father and it has been a long time since they got in touch. She informs him that she’ll be troubling him with Nao-chan next week and really sorry that she suddenly made this request. Gramps say that anyway, it is low season so it isn’t a bother. His wife is also very lively because it has been a long time since she has seen Naoto. Michiyo laughs and says is that so. Gramps says that after all, she likes Yanagi the most. Michiyo asks him to greet mother for her. Gramps says that’s right, is Yanagi going together with his college friends? Elated Michiyo says that is quite right and also, Nao-chan’s girlfriend. <- eager and impatient mother Gramps says is that so.

Last Game’s Chinese scanlation isn’t out yet but this is the teaser I found in their weibo [Chinese twitter]. The trip to the grandparents would be interesting ^^

Yanagi mama: Then, for me, please also ask how mom is doing, okay.

Yanagi grandpa: That’s right. Speaking of that, would he be coming over with his college friends?

Last Game [Chapter 44]

Taking off his sweater, Yanagi sighs and thinks that he’s so tired since a lot of things happened yesterday and today. Tomorrow, he has class on the second period so he should quickly go to sleep.. He looks at his bed where Kujou had slept. He groans over the possibility that he won’t be able to sleep [tonight] again.. Then, his cellphone rings. It is from Fujimoto saying that it will be Shouma’s birthday soon so she wants to discuss it a bit with everyone. Those who are free tomorrow after school will gather and meet at the activity room. The next day, while walking to the club room, Yanagi thinks that it is Souma’s birthday and is he 18 years old right now. He became jittery upon recalling teary-eyed Kujou saying that Souma is really so nice, so strong and he is an amazing person. Yanagi curses for what had happened between them. He wanted to ask Souma about it but he’ll definitely deceive him like before. “No.. it’s alright. It’s alright, don’t mind! I won’t lean on some assumptions that have no reason at all since I’ll just hate and annoy myself! I only have to press on with my own pace in doing my best! That’s right, I only have to press on with my own--...” Then, he recalls the shameful things that happened a few days ago. He starts crying while squatting in front of the door.
