At Yuuya’s place, he calls out to Sou and asks where he has
been for he has always been looking for him. Sou apologizes. He touches Yuuya’s
forehead wound and says that he has been thinking of the possibility that Kousuke
and Yoshiharu were killed. He mentions that there is someone is targeting Yuuya
and he’s very worried. Yuuya is touched. While making some coffee, Yuuya says
that if Saki still lives, the two other guys were definitely killed by her
since the only one who knew about the murderer is Saki. As Yuuya gives Sou some
coffee, he[/Sou] says that those two aren’t the type who’ll commit suicide
because of guilt. Sou says that he couldn’t think of the reason why would Keita
be targeted so they’ll leave that problem aside for a while. Sou tells Yuuya
that it isn’t quite simple for a female to kill two males all by herself, and
Saki definitely has an accomplice. Putting the coffee mug down, Sou wonders out
loud as to who is Saki’s accomplice. Yuuya apologetically says that he actually
wanted to confirm if Saki is alive or dead so he went to the burial site and
re-dug it. Sou says is that so, and no wonder that site has been exposed. Yuuya
apologizes for it is because he always couldn’t contact Sou. Sou says that
probably, his actions has been captured by the [surveillance] video camera
there and this way, he will be suspected soon.. Panicking Yuuya asks what he
has to do. Sou tells him to kill Eiji. Yuuya is startled by this. Sou coldly
tells Yuuya to make Eiji the scapegoat. They will make Eiji carry that criminal
charge and die. He asks won’t things progress better with him [Yuuya] and Yuki.
Yuuya looks aghast and tense. Removing his glasses, Sou says that Yuki is a
girl that can be put to good use. Yuuya asks what about Saki for they should
prioritize their lives. Sou tells him not to worry since they have Saki’s
beloved Eiji-kun. Later on, at some place, Yuki meets up with Sou. Sou
apologizes for suddenly calling her out and they talk there at that side. Yuki
asks what’s up. Sou says that actually, he doesn’t want to tell her but she’s
the only one he can ask. This made Yuki tense. Sou tells her that actually,
there is a high possibility that Eiji is the killer.
At some roof top, Sou says that he had noticed it early on,
Saki’s love had make Eiji have this stubborn[/attachment] feeling that
gradually deteriorated. When they were together with Eiji, they also slightly
noticed this. He asks wasn’t the site, where the body were abandoned, found and
it doesn’t have Saki’s corpse. “Saki is still alive. *Yuki looks a bit tense*
If Eiji knew about this, Saki will still be targeted by him. *glances at Yuki’s
reaction* Eiji cannot forgive Saki’s betrayal in this lifetime. Why is only
Saki saved? Even if I don’t know whether or not, she is still alive, but if
Saki is currently healthily doing well, I want to help. During high school, I
had not helped Saki. ..I already don’t want to regret again.” Yuki looks
slightly surprised-flustered by this. Sou says that because of this, there is
something he wants to ask of her. To Yuki’s surprise, Sou says that Yuuya
probably already knows that Eiji is the murderer. He says that Eiji’s attitude
is very strange. He tells Yuki that perhaps Eiji had already come clean with
Yuuya and using remorseful over the crime as a pretext, Yuuya possibly has
already forgiven what Eiji did. Yuki exclaims how it can be forgiven when he [Eiji]
killed his [Yuuya] ex-girlfriend. Sou says that even if Erika is very important
to Yuuya but he thinks that for Yuuya, Eiji exceeds [/is more valued than] the
existence of Erika. In tears, Yuki says how can that.. Holding Yuki’s hands,
Sou says but, doing that is wrong. He tells her that Yuuya definitely won’t
tell him and his [Sou] dignity absolutely cannot forgive Eiji. “Yuuya also
knows that I’ll definitely make Eiji atone for his crime so I want you to go
see Yuuya and ask him about Eiji. I want Eiji to give himself up. *Yuki is
somewhat flustered* Yuuya is deeply attracted to you. If you say it, maybe, it
can change his mind.” Yuki says okay, she’ll talk with Yuuya. Later on, Yuki
meets up with Yuuya who is glad that he was able to see her for it felt that it
had been such a long time. He happily asks if she wants to go eat together with
him. Yuki tells him that she’s not hungry. He sighs. She tells him that she won’t
beat around the bush and will ask him straight on. “Is the one who killed
Erika-san Eiji-kun?” Yuuya looks uneasy and surprised. Yuki asks him to please
tell her directly if she’s mistaken. He asks her what she knows.
Yuki counters that is what she ought to be asking him. Yuuya
pauses and continues to look tense. He tells her that actually, before, he
talked with Eiji before, when that thing happened to Yoshiharu, and about
nothing happened between him and her at the hotel. “At that time, Eiji told me
that he was the one who had killed Erika and Saki. *Yuki looked aghast* In
order to confirm if this is for real or not, I went by myself to the place
where he told me that he had buried Erika and Saki at the mountain. Even if I
wasn’t able to see the remains, *covers face with hand* but according to the
news, that was where was where Erika was buried but I couldn’t refute the
facts. Eiji..has totally regretted that crime. He said that he cannot forgive Erika
and Saki’s frivolous unfaithful actions but Eiji cannot endure Saki leaving
him.” Teary-eyed Yuki couldn’t believe that it is because of that reason. She
wobbles a bit so she steadies herself on the wall. Yuuya holds on to her and
asks if she is alright. Yuki wonders that even if Saki actually hurt Eiji, but
does he hate her so much for that to the point of ruthlessly killing them.. “Moreover,
why do I.. *crying* ..still like Eiji-kun..?” She tells him that she wants Eiji
to surrender himself. Yuuya holds Yuki’s shoulder and tells her he also thinks
that way so let him go and talk with Eiji alone. Slightly knocking the wall,
Yuuya says that he absolutely cannot let this continue on. “Eiji and I must change.
It is because we are close friends so I must make this decision. *hugs crying
Yuki* ..don’t cry.” At the roof, Sou is reading a report file. Yuuya joins him
and says that it turns out that he’s here. “I’ve talked with Yuki.” Sou coldly
turns around to Yuuya. Yuuya tells him that they’ve decided to let him [Yuuya]
go and convince Eiji to surrender himself. “Killing and burying the best friend’s
ex-girlfriend and the best friend was urged to surrender himself then he
commits suicide.. It is a very common plot.” Sou says that a common plot is
better so that no one would be suspicious. Yuuya tells him that Eiji also
contacted him and he has been asking him if he knew of the police’s
investigation progress. “I’ll see him in two days and then, I’ll talk with him.”
Sou asks if he hasn’t told Eiji that Saki’s corpse isn’t there. Yuuya says that
the regular news didn’t report on it and he didn’t tell Eiji. “About Saki being
still alive, when is the best opportunity to tell him?” Sou says that he’ll
think of a way that has impact. Yuuya smiles and says that there is still Saki.
“Where could she be hiding? Must find her and kill her.” Sou says that isn’t a
problem. “With her beloved Eiji used a bait, she’ll definitely show herself.”
And in Sou’s pocket, is a report file on Yuki and Shiki. Blurb: “And, a trap is
set for Eiji..!?”
Comment: Well,
the mangaka is no longer beating around the bush. We already know the culprits.
Now, we’ll just have to know the motive and how the ‘clueless good guys’ are
going to survive this. From this chapter, we pretty much know who is the ‘mastermind’
or at least, the one who has the brains to effectively cover things up. In a
way, I think instead of Shiki, Sou is the one killing off the others to shut
them up, and with Yuuya, it is a failed attempt. Yuuya, and the other two guys were
the ones who were visibly shaken when there was a report about Erika’s items
being found. Kousuke probably contacted Sou about wanting to surrender and
everything so he got killed. Sou probably saw Yoshiharu confronting Yuki at
school and he might tell her everything so he also got killed. Poor Keita. He
just so happen to saw that and told Yuuya who is with Sou at that time. Fearing
he might see something else or he did see Sou there so Keita got pushed down
the bridge? Yuuya is already somewhat unstable so off with him but lucky for
him, he survived. Well, that’s my current theory. The way Sou kept on mentioning
‘her beloved Eiji’, it seems somewhat like a sarcasm or something. It makes me
wonder if he had feelings for Saki but Saki still chose Eiji. I’m just thinking
that if he is the one obsessed with Saki and try to portray Eiji like that. He
didn’t know Yuki is Saki before when he told her that. Is it him or, maybe it
is Yuuya who is like that? He seems to be actively making Yuki to be with Yuuya
rather than Eiji. Does he owe Yuuya for something? I wonder if Sou just so
happen to conveniently frame up Eiji or, it was his purpose to get rid of Eiji
after knowing that Yuki is Saki? From how Yuuya is acting here, he seems to
fear Saki. In a way, even if he seems somewhat timid at times, he doesn’t seem
hesitant to kill her though a bit hesitant with Eiji at first. Well, in order
to be not punished for the crime, they can frame up their friend and kill him.
It makes me wonder if Sou works as an intern or something with the police since
he knows a lot and can get files about Yuki and Shiki. It makes me wonder if he
was the one who arranged Erika’s body to be like that since Sou seems to be
very intelligent and composed. He did mention Eiji that the murderer might be
taunting them..well, since he is one of the murderers..could he be actually
also warning the others to keep their mouths shut? I’m still wondering if he
was also the one who placed Erika’s belongings on the road which started all of
this. What triggered it all recently? In chapter 2, Sou seems puzzled over why
those things are at that place. It would go back to Shiki who seems to be the
one on the phone and spying on Yuki when she first met with Eiji. So maybe the
skeleton was him? I start to wonder where the remains of the real Yuki are.
Anyway, since Sou has that file, my theory about him knowing Shiki crumbles. In
a way, I guess it helps that Shiki isn’t because well, from the looks of things
and how things are progressing, because Sou can pretty much kill off everyone
here since he has the advantage of knowing a lot while the others do not have a
single clue. Sou is also very good in making others thing that he is their
reliable friend. Yup, we got a very good villain here. And, maybe Shiki would
be the match for him. Still, we are not sure of Shiki’s real role with the
death of his sister. Well, I’m still hoping that Saki would come out and be
better than always crying Yuki. ^^; I cannot really blame Yuki for going along
with the plan. When faced with ‘facts’, sometimes, one feels that one shouldn’t
rely on one’s feelings. It doesn’t help that she has amnesia so hope she
remembers more soon..for her and Eiji’s survival since they are being used for
their own benefit. I cannot wait to see their reactions when they realize who
were the culprits especially Eiji. Scans by 深雪汉化组
