Kagehime no Konrei [Chapter 1]

[Free Talk: This is Kyoumachi Hisa’s new series in Shocomi. The title means, ‘Shadow Princess’ Wedding’. I think it is her first series that is a fantasy. Before, it is mostly about school romance. The story has potential and it is somewhat like Reimei no Arcana except there is no ‘magic’. For the main characters, I got the names from the preview scans in Shocomi. Hopefully, I got them right.

The first three chapters is the first arc. It supposed to have ended in chapter 3 but it seems to be popular enough that it is continued into a second arc. By the way, the Chinese scanlator of this series is slow so just like Futsuu no Koiko-chan, it isn’t up to date with the Japanese. The pictures on the right and middle are from chapter 1 & 2 in Chinese scans; the one with the guy is from the second arc from Sho-Comi site.]

Narration: “Then, let’s start this secret wedding.” Surrounded by some people, there is a sick girl lying on the bed. Sitting in front of the sick girl, a girl calls out, “Your Highness Princess, please pull yourself together.” Holding out her hand, the princess calls out, “Izuna, I’m sorry.”

Futsuu no Koiko-chan [Chapter 4]

Narration: “Like that, the ordinary and blissfull ‘Natsume Koiko’s Second Chapter’ has been strangled at its cradle.” Koiko glances at the side as her mother squeals like a fangirl as she dress up Tsurugi in a yukata. <- it is this guy’s fault. Yumeko asks if it is okay and is it tight.

Hatsu Haru [Chapter 13]

Ayumi exclaims to Taka that in the end, it is like that, Kai definitely likes Riko. Taka claims that he doesn’t know. Ayumi shouts that even if he pretends not to know, it is useless because just now, he took Riko’s picture and he sent it to Kai!!

Futsuu no Koiko-chan [Chapter 3]

Tsubasa to Hotaru [Chapter 41]

Seeing Tsubasa getting ready to leave, her mother asks if she is going to school since it is a Sunday and she’s wearing her uniform. Tsubasa tells her mother that she’ll review at the school’s library to prepare for the exams. While walking, Tsubasa reads Aki’s message that he’ll be on the third carriage.

Futsuu no Koiko-chan [Chapter 2]

Koiko looks at Tsurugi in surprise. “Don’t look quite happy? Me? Look very pitiful? Me?” Koiko goes “..ha? Ha?? Ha??? *looks aghast* HA~~~??? *lightly punches Tsurugi’s chest* I’m actually so happy that I’m not at all some pitiful person.”

Hatsu Haru [Chapter 12]

Taka goes to Kai’s place and asks Sango how is Kai’s situation. Sango tells him that Kai is always sleeping. She complains over how he could have a fever when it was commonly said that idiots doesn’t catch a cold. It must be because germs have evolved that it is now effective on idiots.

Futsuu no Koiko-chan [Chapter 1]

[Free talk: This is Nanaji Nozomu’s new series. Based on the chapters available in Chinese, this looks good. Hopefully, the mangaka doesn’t go with the usual love rival stuff which she did on her two previous series that I’ve summarized =P ]

Young Koiko [戀子; means ‘love/feel attached-child’] writes the kanji word for ‘average’[/ordinary; I’ll at times interchange these two words] instead of ‘happiness’ during calligraphy class. She thinks that ‘average’ should be pronounced as ‘happiness’.

Tsubasa to Hotaru [Chapter 40]

At home, while lying on her bed, Tsubasa couldn’t believe that this day would happen, a day when she’ll suddenly be so happy that her feelings is like a dam burst which caused her tears to flow non-stop. It is really like a dream. She obviously witnessed everything yet it doesn’t feel real. Then, her cellphone starts ringing.

Hatsu Haru [Chapter 11]

Taka and Tarou notices the lovey-dovey look on Kai and Miki’s faces. Ah, they are indeed in seventh heaven. Tarou asks if something happened during the fireworks festival. Kai says what he is talking about-- He recalls Riko letting him hold her hand and she would just follow him. He happily laughs and wonders if he has hope.

Tsubasa to Hotaru [Chapter 39]

Flashback: At the subway, Tsubasa isn’t feeling well. Aki saw her and asked if she isn’t well. Aki decided to carry her. Tsubasa thought that this uniform is the same as her school’s. End flashback.

Rere Hello [Chapters 39-40]

Chapter 39: Class has been dismissed. Ririko fans herself with her hand for it’s so hot. There are only a few days left before summer vacation starts. She recalls that there is a ball tournament at Minato’s school. She wonders if they are still playing basketball. Since she has some time, she plans to go back home first then go to work.

Zekkyou Gakkyuu Tensei [Chapter 15 - Memeko-san's curse]

Yumi narrates, “Hello everyone. Let’s start today’s horror class. *sees someone tapping the back of another person’s shoulder* Would you turn around without any precautions when someone pats your shoulder.. Is it inevitable that the other party is someone you know? If it is someone of unknown origin, what will you do..” Lesson 15: Memeko-san’s curse. [<- guesswork from 目目子; 目 = eye].

Review: Tsubasa to Hotaru [Chapter 35 -38]

Chapter 35: Tsubasa asks Yuuma to let her go but he won’t. He asks her to tell him why she is crying but she refuses to do so. She manages to push him away from her. He asks if she is going to ride the train with that kind of face. He goes to the swing and asks isn’t this nostalgic

Rere Hello [Chapters 37-38]

Chapter 37 - Flashback: Aoi asked if the cat strap is a gift from his girlfriend. Minato smiled and told her even if it isn’t a gift, but they bought it together as a remembrance. End flashback. Typing on the computer, Ririko apologizes to Minato on the phone. She asks if she can postpone their appointment for a while. This surprises Minato.

Hatsu Haru [Chapters 9 - 10]

Chapter 9: The cicadas are chirping loudly. Perspiring Kai thinks that it’s really hot. While he looked out the classroom’s window, someone covers his eyes. He asks, “..what?” The other person says that it is nothing. It is Riko who then hugs him from behind. She says that she only wants to do this, that’s all.

Review: Tsubasa to Hotaru [Chapters 31-34]

Chapter 31: Hina happily tells the others that she and Aki are going ahead for the test of courage game. Yuuma is laughing while Tsubasa couldn’t believe her bad luck. Since Tsubasa isn’t in the mood, Yoshinari warns her to be serious or else, it will be dangerous because if she wasn’t careful, the spirit of that sport’s manager will bring her into that other world. This scares Tsubasa and Hayabusa. Yoshinari cheers them on.

Hatsu Haru [Chapter 8]

Kai and his friends are studying at his house. Sighing Kai looks absent-minded which causes his friends to become worried about him. Kai is thinking what is it to fall in love and he doesn’t know what to do. He is always thinking of this and afterwards, he falls deeper in love.
