Anyway, maybe age is catching up on me that I can no longer type a lot of summaries = cannot sit in front of the computer for a long time without feeling something off with my body later on. ^^;
It doesn’t help either that scanlations aren’t regularly updated. That is one reason why I tend to easily lose interest in a series. Honestly, it can be frustrating that there are a lot of series wherein I have no idea nor have seen what happened in the end.
There are some series that I started with chapter 1 or a few then dropped. Well, after reading a lot more of the series, it turned out that it wasn’t my cup of tea. ^^; Well, because of the pandemic, I’m getting my story fix from kdramas. ^^;;

So, for now, I have two series that are still regularly updated which are Kurosaki kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai, and Kore wa ai de koi janai. About Kore, it isn’t regularly updated so I’m taking my time with it...rather, I’m working on it when I have free time. I actually fear that it might suddenly be dropped one day. Then, I review two series, Skip Beat and Kono Oto Tomare.
I do browse around for new series that are like 1-3 chapters in Chinese scanlation to work on once Kurosaki ends. So far, nothing catches my interest. ^^;
By the way, I don’t take requests for summaries because I haven’t been reading any other series and I don’t have time to read more than 5+ chapters to catch up. Hehe, it is hard to do catching up. Or maybe, I’ll just do a bit of review for series with chapters 1-3 that I have browsed but not summarizing. Well, that’s the tentative plan but who knows how things go.

DeleteActually, no. I haven't seen it around for a while. After checking it, apparently, it seems to be dropped by Chinese scanlators. Their last update is May 2019 up to chapter 40.
I think the only one translating is Vi Media that is publishing it. I thought that it was dropped by every English translation group because of copyright issues. I thought the story was not bad but I am hesitating if I should buy it or not.

Yea, one of the things that made me really mad was how the current admin was so against the chinese buying and owning everything, but kept doing the same business/deals which only china'd profit, and they, the country and the people'd still suffer.

I don't know why they closed. I mean, as always, if we go by numbers alone, that region never had a significant decrease in cases. Once they started treating in the very first symptoms, it decreased the death cases, tho. And just a reminder, you know we had world cup and olympics, right? Such laws are always made by the congress, prefects, municipals, estate and federals. So, the mayor in my city got to have almost a 50% increase on his paycheck, the local congress here approved, but the last say should be his and he could reject it. Likewise, if it were the federal, the president should have the last say, but it's common to be overwritten in the second or third try.

They are, and funded by the same people/organization. And as always, when they do it is okay, justified and even incentivized. It was fairly common to see such false flags during 2014/15 protests over here.

Well, we got a new distraction this week. After being pressed about the secretive price of the vaccine, the military suddenly says that they are breaking the agreement with the state university which states that they cannot go in freely unless they have a warrant for someone. This is a safeguard against what happened during martial law where students are picked up and disappeared. Or, re-appear with crime charges.

Rebuttal: Well, the military-police school produce a lot of plunderers, corrupt, coup plotters so that school must be teaching something to their students. In truth, there are a lot of politicians who graduate from the school, rich in business courses and even military people who got masters degree. Hideout of rebels...where's your proof? Actually, there are almost no students here due to the pandemic so why now?
2. What if they are building meth labs there. Rebuttal: What if? Where's your evidence? We got our chemicals according to the law = chem lab and they are even always late with the permits. Did you even see our labs? That isn't a lab where you can make meth. And speaking of that, from the news, where do some meth labs are found...in police compounds and there are a lot of police addicts.
3. We are here for urban gardening. Rebuttal: Since when do you need M16s and combat boots to do gardening. <- based on the pictures when they entered the school gardens.
4. What if terrorists commit arson, who are you going to call? Isn't it the army so they should be able to freely go there without asking permit. Rebuttal: Of course, we are going to call the firemen first.
So far, that's the stuff they came up with within the week. Who knows what else they'll say next to justify breaking the agreement. The school's students are even joking that they should change their school's name to West Philippine Sea [/South China Sea] where the Chinese army/coast guard are untouchable by the military. Ya, they are picking on students instead of foreign intruders.

Actually, they have Chinese names for those islands. In the map, it is called South China Sea. Our country decided to call it West Philippine Sea because well, you know since there is 'China' in the name, China claims it is theirs.
The local fishermen can no longer fish there since they are driven away. There was one case they were rammed into and left to die but saved by, Indonesians, I think. After a large ruckus, it died down with the fishermen given small boats to fish nearby and some money. So far, the Chinese are over fishing the place, killing the clams the scientists planted to increase the giant clam population and destroying the corals, etc since they are making man-made islands...wherein the sand are supposedly from our country. Well, you know, for money, people...rather politicans here are okay with that.
Speaking of names, there was an issue about that. We have an exploration on the right side of the country [Benham Rise] but the idiots/traitors? allowed the Chinese to survey it...so they were the first to register the names of the underwater sea features into Chinese names.

Officially, it should be health workers and elderly. Then, the poor and military. But as I mentioned before, the military already skipped the line and got themselves vaccinated. Nope, it has nothing to do with the pandemic. The agreement is no military people can just go in the university. That is because, during the martial law when they are able, they are just 'picking up' students who just disappear or re-surface later with a criminal charge. Basically, picking up oppositions to either torture, kill and perhaps, stop what they are doing through threatening. And most likely, that's it after damaging the reputation of a lot of people.
And now, they even included four more major universities as communist rebel recruiters. Two of these are where a lot of rich kids go to. The four are famous for their college basketball game champions. Ah yes, they are provoking a lot of people...intentionally or not. Mind you, they got the largest cut in the budget for 'intelligence purposes'.
What kind of lockdown is that? It seems like they got special favors or something. Ah, if the public school isn't open...the teachers aren't paid? Soccer games = no audience? I mean, is it just online streaming?

But can't they be fired by their companies if they don't take it? Here, if you don't take/refuse, the company has a just cause to fire you, regardless of being private or not. That's why I said buy or sell, because they can also not hire you for the same excuse/reason. Hospitals might not take you in, schools can reject your kids so on and so forth. In my case, they can not only fire me - as I'm a public officer of sorts - they can revoke my insurance and thus I won't even be able to be checked for the sick leave nor any other treatment.

For cities that have the money, it is around 100-300k people. For the military, there are 140k people + families BUT the Sinovac they got for Feb are enough for 25K people. They PLAN to get more 148 million doses this year...PLAN okay? Our population is currently at 108m. Basically, the president kept on saying before to bear it out until Dec. In the end, they didn't actually order any vaccines but we got a lot of loans and debts - where did the money go? So, that Dec is most likely not Dec 2020.

Ah, tested negative. It is like when she first arrive, they tested her/him. S/he's negative, okay, go back home...to the province. After this, they changed their protocol. Test people coming back after 3-5 days later while in hotel quarantine before going to one's destination if negative to finish the 7 day quarantine. I think they shortened it to 7 from 14.
Ritual...it is a small ceremony type of thing done by indigenous people. Think of American-Indians doing a certain traditional ceremony.

Yup, and it happened a few days after that policeman killed a mother and son. It was a seemingly ordinary incident then blew up when the police accuse all the people with her as rape and murder suspects. Yes. I divided by two the amount of vaccines they'll get. The total population is 108 million. Yup, it's few. And national govt is prioritizing the military and vip most likely instead of health workers. But then, if it is sinovac...I guess they're okay with it...if the military got it first.

Yup. They most likely already had a deal so they're pushing it even if people won't want it. I mean, if they have no choice but pick one vaccine currently available. That is because a lot of people aren't inclined to get any vaccines at the moment.
They are still secretive about the price. When asked where did they got that really high price of Sinovac before. The answer was, we googled it and then converted it to local currency. �� Is your government/dictator there transparent about the cost of the vaccine? That is the current excuse. They cannot reveal the price because it will kind of ruin the talks with other countries...something like that.
Yes, I read something about that. There is also something about using a different vaccine for older than 60. I forgot which one...must be Astra. You know, in my opinion, it isn't okay to vaccine the really old people with existing ailments because who knows what will happen to them. I'm also thinking of the current medication that they are drinking which might have contraindications and side effects with the vaccine. Doing so, makes them really like test subjects.

Yes. It is their way of helping the tourism industry. But then, there are some really crappy hotels where they put the passengers. It made me think that they passed because of connections. For others, there are dorm-like buildings with solo toilet. I have seen some like truck container made into quarantine. There is also a huge stadium where there are divisions like in a hospital ward. Taking one's pick...I'll get the nice hotel one. ^^; Haha, especially if it is free and all expenses paid. ^^
Do you have a picture of the ones in Canada, NZ or Germany? Maybe they are like that but it is like better compared to ours. I mean like the jails in US are way better than here where people take turns in sleeping on the floor because it is too crowded.
Nevertheless, it is still best...rather most comfortable to stay at home especially if asymptomatic. I read a doctor getting angry that his patient at the ER ran away when he said that he'll get a covid test. The doctor just turned around and the patient is gone when he looked back.
We also have a rule that the companion of the patient who turned out to have covid will also be quarantined. So, many don't want to accompany a covid suspected patient to the hospital. The other reason they say is because at home, the covid infected person tends to infect his/her family members so no more home quarantine if you don't have a personal toilet in your room.

Indeed. Oh ya, about that mayor who filed an irrevocable resignation and blah blah about responsibility, I'm a victim of social media, blah blah. He changed his tune after everyone in govt are saying, you can't leave, we need you, you're the best. That mayor then said aw shucks, if the president doesn't want me to leave then... Lol, I guess he doesn't know what irrevocable means. Anyway, at the rate this is going, he isn't resigning like the rest of them. Actually, another reason is they are probably doing that because he'll make them look as bad examples.
It seems to be before election. Because if it is after election, that is assuming that they will still be in the position. It is the election for president, vice, half of the senators, all of the congress, mayors and governors. But then, if it is before, they might not win. There was one senator before who passed a higher vat, he lost the next election after that. But then, won again after some 'cooling off' period because, well, people forget.

After a few months to a year at most, that is when they usually show their true faces and it is back to the usual.

Ah, well, there is always something new here. If it is like some tragi-comedy. The current issue is about child car seats for 12 years old and below. It is now time to implement the law and they start talking about it yesterday! The one talking about it made a boo-boo. The host asks him, those who are 12 years old...what if the kid is super tall and on a car seat, s/he will hit the car's ceiling. The guy answered, then buy a bigger car.
Because of that, everyone was ridiculing and ranting on him. Now, he passes it as a joke. They now say, hey, it is for kids 4ft and 11 inches below. Some joke, what about the adults who are like below that height, are they required to have those seats like say, the female corrupt ex-president who is at 4ft and 9 inches?
Funny thing is, most children cannot go out because of the ban/lockdown. Car seats are expensive and we have a pandemic. Private car owners complain, hey, how come it isn't required in public transportation. In the end, okay, postpone the law and we'll explain things from the top again before implementing it. So, aside from other things that's the most amusing thing that happened starting this Feb. ^^'
Well, considering how big the country is, 100 million is quite a lot. What bugs me a bit is how they're choosing vacs for different groups of people. But here, too, we can't actually choose, just take what's available at the moment.

The only good side I can see is that it's not going to be forced, meaning - so far, at least - people won't suffer any consequence for not taking. Now, about the elderly, just think with me for a second, this whole thing about vacs is solely for the group risky, meaning, elderly and people with some diseases already. That's why it's experimental/emergencial. Now, because these same people weren't even tested during the procedures for the vacs, they're having lots of side effects, so they suspend. So why even bother if the vac can be used for the ones that really need? In the end, we're all actually test subjects and very few people are profiting off us.
No, they only say how much they bought, not how much they paid. I mean, if we look around we can find the info - that's also why I say some people are getting much richer with it - but in the open news we barely see any mention of it, just how much doses.

Currently, yes. Actually, it is like this. If you want it free, you'll have to go with the national govt and theirs is Sinovac. If your local govt/city is rich, lucky you, they'll get Astra Zeneca, not Sinovac since you don't like it.

They want everything to pass through them. But most likely, it would be approved later on since money is to be made like whoever made face shields mandatory here and well, the economy is sinking so they would most likely be forced to.

Actually, that is one thing that puzzles me. I guess in other countries, it is because there are a lot of nursing homes wherein most of the elderly are living and well, they would most likely have 1 or more illness due to old age, etc. So, they are the priority? I still think health workers and those who have a lot of contact with other people + healthy would be better test subjects.
I mean, if there are already side effects and whatever on healthy people, what more on the old and sick? But true, we are indeed all test subjects. Cannot really do anything and from what I read, they have to stop it from spreading asap because the longer it does, the higher the chances of it mutating. Interestingly, we still don't know its origin unlike Sars or Mers.

The govt did have a price earlier but then, someone got a news article from Indonesia and started asking how come the estimate is 3+k but when we convert the ones from Indonesia, it is just almost 300. Keep in mind the most expensive Moderna vaccine is at estimate of 4k. So now, people call sinovac as kickvac. And, the govt suddenly become secretive about the price.
So, are the doses there going to be enough for your city/country to get herd immunity? By the way, what's the perception there regarding the vaccines? Do a lot of people want to get it?

They will be either paid by the govt or by the people themselves. There was a time when some hotels are complaining that they can no longer keep on taking people since the govt doesn't pay them in time. I think that is for the overseas workers. If you are a tourist/returning citizen, you'll pay for the hotel. Ah, this arrangement is only for those who came from abroad. Once you arrive, they put you in buses and send you to these hotels.
I saw one...it looks decent inside though it is a juvenile detention so it is fenced around. From what I read, in Germany, they plan to do it to people who repeatedly break the quarantine. I guess that is better than putting them in jail like what they do here...even for one-time offense especially if poor who cannot pay the fine.

Brazil doesn't have that much, at least not where I live. And yes, the excuse they made for was because too many people were dying and it was an emergency - the ones that were dying were the elderly and already sick people, healthy and young have very low death rate, according to their own numbers, that is. So now they suspended the emergency targeted people and I ask again, why keep forcing something that clearly wasn't tested enough? Should go be to the lab but oh well...
I do agree with you, tho. If the vac was efficient and thoroughly tested, health workers should be priority alongside the risk group, then military, delivery workers and teachers.

Seems like it, Brazil already vaccinated more than 3m people, so I'd assume a lot more wants. There still isn't enough for even the whole priority groups, since it needs two shots, but considering how much people recovered from it and should now be immune, I guess it's pretty high, or it should be.

I really don't like the idea, all concentration camps started that way. They shouldn't even be locking people under this pretense to begin with, despite that, what they are actually doing is freeing prisoners because jails are too full and w/e they can come up with. They say that we are already late. Their excuse is that we are poor and weren't prioritize by pharm companies. But then, people are saying, hey how come even Bangladesh got theirs already. As I told you before, they keep on saying wait for the vaccine but it turns out that they have no orders...just waiting for China and Russia to 'give/sell' the vaccine cheap. I see. Here, a few reporters are brave enough to ask. We laugh at their responses as they say all sorts of nonsense to avoid answering the question including calling names, diversion, etc. One time, they were so scared/traumatized of one female reporter for asking really tough questions that they banned her from attending the press cons. We did notice that most of this admin's fiercest 'enemies' are women.
Of course, these reporters are a bit well-known in national TV or news. But if it is a small time reporter in radio/TV, doing that can get you killed.
Wow, that's a lot...when here, except for some of the President's military and security group, no one else. <- that is known. Is that two doses already? Hm...not sure. I read reports that there are those who have recovered yet got re-infected. That is why there was a question regarding how long will the vaccine be effective? Do you need it every year? We'll know more from the 'test subjects' soon.

True but here, you can get away with it because they keep on repeating that the people are disobedient so you can punish them harshly. Ah, that is for the poor though...if it is the rich, it is a light tap on the palm or get away with it. I think I told you before, that there was even super 'dedicated' to punishing people that they even put minors in dog cages, aside from carrying sticks, made to sit on chairs under the hot afternoon sun, etc...the worst ended up in raping.

Like I've been saying, the ones that ask the real questions are always excluded from interviews, on both sides. So the president has his goons, which are actually better in giving the truth, but don't ask the real questions to him, only to his 'enemies'. Same thing happens on the other side, but I noticed that the other side tend to lie and manipulate much more.
Yea, that's why I said this vac is too soon, people still have no idea what's really going on. The one thing they know for a fact is the prevent treatment. The ones that are doing haven't got sick like the ones not doing. I saw it with my eyes some friends that did and some that didn't, the results were there but they still say there's no proofs...

I guess it is like the hunger thing here. Hunger should be up but we don't really see it or know how many so is it really happening? Perhaps, because I saw an ad in the internet of a govt official asking for donations for hunger alleviation. More people are begging for help in social media. Grown and abled men forced to go begging because they couldn't find work to feed the family.

Nothing much one can do. All we hear is that the police got dismissed but not sure about the cases filed and followed up = will they be punished aside from being dismissed. Actually, if you got connections, you can even get promoted during this admin.
That one case is really awful because you know that the police are all in it. The girl with a cousin was caught against the curfew/lockdown, and both got raped by police. You can say either she is stupid or brave, she with cousin and uncle went to the police station to report it. After that, they asked the policewoman who took her case to escort them home for safety purposes. The policewoman refused. On the way home, that girl was shot dead. Well, there are others which didn't end tragically.
