Ryu comes out of the clubroom [I think]. Pin asks if he had packed his things. Ryu says yes. Then, he calls out to Pin as coach, and thanks him for his coaching these past three years. Pin smiles and says that he already heard that and everyone said that together. Ryu says yes. Pin says that there is still half a year that he’ll be teaching him as homeroom teacher. Ryu says yes. Pin wishes Ryu luck [/gambatte] for the college’s tryouts this summer vacation. Ryu says yes. After a pause, Pin asks if he is going steady with Chizuru. He says yes. Pin says is that so, with that ‘completely no sex appeal that can be talked about’ Chizuru. “Haha, truly interesting.” Ryu says no, that is not true. Awkward pause. Pin nervously shouts if Ryu had laid a hand on her. [<- implying that they did it] Ryu slightly smiles and thanks Pin again for coaching these past three years. Pin shouts for him to wait, did he lay a hand on her!!! Hey, hey, hey, hheeyy!!! Then, Shouta calls out to Ryu who asks what’s up. Shouta says that he was just studying at the library and it is because there is no need for him to help at the store today. Ryu asks if he also has to help out the store during summer vacation. Shouta says yes, he’ll go to work as usual for the time being but then, he’ll be going to the exams review at the lecture hall. Ryu asks if he’ll be with Sawako. Shouta says that she went to cram class. Ryu comments that Sawako is really working hard. Shouta says that he also wants to properly do his best. Ryu smiles and says yes.

Shouta asks if Ryu is going to Sapporo this summer vacation. Ryu says yes, he’ll be staying at his brother’s house. Shouta exclaims then he can see the baby. Ryu says yes..he really anticipates it. Shouta asks if Chizuru told Ryu. Ryu says that she said, ‘gambatte’ and ‘take care on your way’. Shouta smiles and says ‘good job’ [/otsukaresama] on club activity. After looking surprised, Ryu says yes, thank you. Ryu quietly smiles then tells Shouta not to think that it is because he wasn’t around that they lost. He tells Shouta that he [Shouta] had earlier on, decided not to join high school club activity. Ryu says that he also didn’t have leisure time to think about that. “I will play baseball at college. I hope that, no matter what form it is, there will be a day when I can play baseball with you again.” Shouta smiles and says, ..ya. Then, Shouta’s cellphone is ringing. He wonders if it is Sawako. It turns out to be Chizuru. Chizuru shouts that it’s her, and what is he doing right now. Just when Shouta is about to tell her, Chizuru shouts that they do a nice surprise for Ryu by holding a thank you party at Ryu’s house!! “Listen to me-! Next-!! I have already prepared food and drinks-!! And do not be worried about the food!! Look, I’m actually very free right!? I’m going to make a lot of onigiri!!! [rice balls] Hahahaha Ah, it is the first time that I’ll wash one sho [2 kg] of rice!!! It’s quite a lot!! It’s really heavy this rice!!! Geez, my mother won’t let me in the kitchen!! By the way, I had prepared it well at Ryu’s house--”

Ryu takes Shouta’s cellphone and says that he heard everything. This shocks Chizuru. Ryu thanks her. Chizuru cries for it is a surprise..!!! Ryu tells her that in doing this kind of thing, she has to trouble herself in contacting others ahead of time because if everyone is busy, how is she going to deal with one sho of rice. He also tells her that it isn’t quite good to choose to do it at the person’s house. [<- due to the clean up, I guess] Chizuru screams that he is long-winded~~ At Ryu’s place, Ayane complains over how sudden this is and it is definitely Chizuru who suddenly thought of it. She says that luckily there’s no school today because if it is the usual, they cannot come at this time. She also tells Chizuru that next week, their summer classes are full so they cannot go to the beach. While Chizuru sheepishly apologizes, Sawako thanks her for calling them. Chizuru hugs Sawako and exclaims that she’s the only one who doesn’t criticize her. Ayane says forget it, don’t mind that first. She tells Chizuru that it’s great [that things turned out okay]. Chizuru laughs and thanks them. She says that she is apologetic for right now thinking about it, she was only just making a scene. Ayane says that it doesn’t matter for it isn’t like it [her acting that way] started just now. Just when Chizuru was agreeing with her, she takes it back and asks what Ayane meant by that.

Chizuru says that it always felt a bit hard to believe for she obviously always like Tooru for 8 years and in the end, it became like this. “Suddenly correcting myself and say that I like Ryu~~ Won’t Ryu feel uneasy that I’m a fickle woman.” Ayane asks what’s up with that, suddenly acting like some good woman. Sawako smiles and says that she thinks that Chizuru always, always deeply likes Ryu. Ayane says if it is like that, then it seems like it is longer than liking Tooru. Sawako says yes. Blushing Chizuru curses for that is so embarrassing. Seeing the tray filled with onigiri-s, Ayane exclaims that Chizuru made a lot of onigiri-s that rather than say love [ as in courtship], it is better to say that it is love [ as in wanting to marry each other]. “Call me to come to the wedding-!!” Chizuru freaks out and asks if Ayane had heard of it. This made Sawako happy and surprised. Ayane tensely asks if Ryu already mentioned it to Chizuru [<- proposed]...congratulations ..yes, she thinks that it is not bad. Chizuru exclaims if she is covering up what she said. Ayane denies it. Ayane claps her hand and shouts for Chizuru to calm down. Pause. Chizuru tearfully tells Ayane to first not tell Ryu that she said it out. Ayane assures that it is okay for she has a bit of consideration, leave it to her. Sawako is happy for Chizuru that she says that it feels as if it has been a long time since they are like this. Ayane smiles and agrees. Then, they start reminiscing about their relationship becoming good and it has been such a long time.

Sawako thinks about how the two can happily chat over something. Sawako asks if Chizuru had become at ease. Chizuru smiles and says yes. She tells them that it is truly baffling because before, she was quite unwilling to part with Ryu but suddenly after thinking of becoming Ryu’s final destination [/home], her heart was at ease. “But then, it is just a short four years!! From then on, we will always be together! No matter where Ryu goes, he is still Ryu. If it is needed, I plan to take care of Ryu until the end!!” Sawako is moved by what she said. Ayane says that honestly speaking, it would be Ryu who’ll take care of doing things for willful Chizuru. Chizuru protests that it is no good, for while Ryu is living, she won’t die, absolutely!! Then, she asks if they are teasing her. Sawako thinks that Chizuru and Ryu’s friendship is like a family for a long time. “The most important is they have strong trust with each other. The bond wherein even if one is uneasy but they can still believe ‘things will definitely be okay’ had probably already been truly established. They definitely had already properly faced each other and also faced oneself that caused Chizuru to currently, be able to show a smile like this. I--” Sawako snaps out of it when Chizuru calls out to her and says that Shouta before.. She stops herself and asks Ayane if it is okay if this comes out from her mouth. Ayane says no, she also doesn’t know anything. Chizuru says that is true for she also didn’t mention it before. Ayane says anyway, Chizuru had already said a lot of things that she shouldn’t say.

Chizuru couldn’t deny it. Chizuru tells Sawako that she goes confirm with Shouta first before telling her and it isn’t at all some bad thing so there’s no problem and afterwards, she’ll tell her. Sawako says okay. She is relieved that it isn’t a bad thing but what is it, she is very curious. Then, Chizuru calls out to Shouta and Ryu at the door to say that they arrive and were so slow. Chizuru points out where Ryu would sit as for Shouta..she doesn’t know so just sit wherever he likes. As Shouta sits beside her, Sawako thinks that she is always subconsciously running away, afraid that that a lot of things, that she currently has, will end. “I wouldn’t dare think about separating from Kazehaya-kun when obviously I’m interested about the Normal University and pretended to have not seen it. But..” Shouta says that they see each other and she braided her hair which is quite rare. Sawako says that it is because the weather is hot and if she had it braided for a long time, she’ll have a headache so normally she only braids it for a moment like cooking or PE class. Soon, everyone have a toast for Ryu. Sawako thinks that when Shouta confessed to her, she believes that with him, she can definitely establish a new relationship that is what she thought at that time. Later on, Chizuru is moping about wanting to drink cola. Ayane says that she has been thinking that it is strange that all of the beverages are tea when she obviously likes soda. Chizuru exclaims that it is because onigiri suits tea!! She orders Shouta to go buy back some.

Shouta asks what Chizuru thinks of him. She says, ah..errand [boy].. After a pause, Shouta says it is okay, he’ll go to the vending machine at the side and come back quick. Chizuru apologizes to him. He says that she basically do not feel apologetic at all. Just when Sawako is offering to go with him, he already left. Chizuru shouts which startles Sawako. Chizuru says that there’s no need, she’ll go instead. Sawako asks what’s up all of a sudden. Chizuru says that it is an opportunity regarding that just now. [<- asking Shouta if it is okay to tell Sawako]. Giving Sawako a thumbs up, Chizuru says that she’ll definitely get permission so leave it to her. After Chizuru left, Sawako is very curious. Ryu is in his world as he eats Chizuru’s onigiri. Ayane thinks that Chizuru is really jubilant that today she is really doing whatever she pleases. Outside, Chizuru calls out to Shouta who is buying some soda at a vending machine. He is surprised to see her. Helping him carry some of the cola, Chizuru happily asks if she can tell Sawako about what he said before which is ‘don’t belittle people’ when she asked him if he can cheer for Sawako. This surprises Shouta. Carrying the soda, Chizuru laughs over his statement for what era is that and thinking of it now, it’s so funny. Shouta angrily tells Chizuru that she’s too loud and it is night already. He reminds her that people opens their windows during summer. Chizuru asks if it is alright to tell Sawako for it won’t hurt, right!! Inside the ramen store, Pin angrily shouts for the noisy lovers outside to shut up. Ryu’s father tells Pin that this is his order. Pin curses for he cannot go disrupt things since he mustn’t let the ramen becoming soggy.

Back outside, Chizuru happily tells Shouta that it is because Sawako is also very uneasy so can she tell her and it’s no problem, right!? Shouta tells her to wait. After he grabs Chizuru’s shoulder, they are surprised to see Sawako looking at them. She mutters that she is a bit curious so.. She stares at Shouta’s hand on Chizuru that she immediately shake his hand off. Chizuru tells Sawako that she’s just in time and Shouta had given his permission. Chizuru tells Sawako that while they were cheering at the game before, she asked Shouta if he can cheer for Sawako even if they are in separate places and he told her not to belittle people so she’s going back now. After Chizuru left, Shouta mutters that he didn’t..[gave her permission].. Sawako turns to look at Shouta. She recalls all the things that Shouta said about being satisfied with her around and some unknown guy falling for her, she wonders what kind of feelings he had while he accompanied her. Sawako apologizes for being like this during the celebration and she’ll go back to her normal bearing later on. “Sorry..basically..I cannot maintain my usual self. Lying to oneself and saying that you are prepared to part with me. ..you don’t care. Obviously, it isn’t like that. Obviously, it isn’t like that. ..obviously I forced you to say that..” Shouta holds her hands and says it isn’t so, he’s just too anxious. “It’s okay, there’s no need to apologize--” Sawako wonders whether or not she should go to the Normal University and it is okay if after considering it, she chooses to go to the same college with Shouta. “If I have already considered it and chose Normal University-- *Shouta and Sawako look at each other* when that time comes, I’ll take the initiative to let go of this hand.”

Comment: Ah, so is she planning to break up with him instead of maintaining long distance or did she just mean, she’ll choose to leave without hesitation? Anyway, things are really smooth sailing with Ryu and Chizuru. Scans by 夜莺工作室
