From Five to Nine [Chapter 52 - Derailed]

In bed, Arthur is hugging Momoe. Momoe wonders how come things ended up into this current situation. Wait—wait!!! Quickly think back as to how this had happened!! -> Arthur kissing Momoe. Flashback: At 8:45 am, Momoe woke up. She felt awful for not being able to sleep well. She wondered when Junko had gone out. 

Junko hasn’t changed a bit since she is still quite capable and experienced. Going out of the room, Momoe thought that she must have fallen asleep a bit so she’s like this. Her brain is still not quite working so where was the toilet again.. She is surprised to see laughing Eric hugging Lance. Lance greeted blushing Momoe and asked if she slept well and was the bed too stiff.

Momoe said that it’s really good and right now, she is currently physically fit!!! Lance said that he is going to make breakfast so how about egg or pancake. He also informed Momoe that from the start they are living together. Momoe exclaimed no, anything will do and the two of them, please take their time.

With flowers around, Momoe thought that mood of not getting enough sleep-type of thing had been wiped out. Ah, it’s lovers~~ Lance told Eric that it is almost time to wake Arthur up. Just when Lance is telling the two to go to the kitchen first, Eric glanced at Momoe and tells her that she go wake up Arthur. He said that the door isn’t locked so she can do whatever she pleases..

Lance tried to say that is no good for Arthur will scold them but Eric assumed him that it is alright. Eric said that Arthur should be happy that his girlfriend is going to wake him up. Eric told charmed Momoe where Arthur’s room is and she can use the toilet as she please so they’ll be at the living room.

While Lance is washing his hands off about letting Momoe go in Arthur’s room, Momoe said okay, she understands. She happily went to Arthur’s room and was really happy about the amazing BL scene that she saw. She felt like thanking Junko so for today, she should first go home, quickly pack up her luggage and then come back. Momoe knocked on the door and said that it is her, Eric asked her to wake him up. 

Momoe imagined Arthur inviting her for some tea and breakfast that a butler served because he is an Englishman. There is no reply so she opened the door to peek because after all, Eric said that she can go in. Momoe called out to Arthur and said that it is already morning, is he awake.

Upon seeing Arthur sound asleep, she suddenly felt nervous. <- the BL charm wore off. Momoe thought that just now Eric easily say out that she’s the ‘girlfriend’. And, just by looking at Arthur, her heart is beating so fast that it is no good anymore.

Momoe wondered if as the girlfriend, she can accomplish this task. As a girlfriend, what should and what shouldn’t she do.. Using her finger, she stroked him and told him to wake up. She is surprised when Arthur suddenly woke up and held her wrist. He told her not to bully him and let him sleep some more, honey, okay, give him a kiss.. And, he kissed her. End flashback.

 While Momoe still looks stunned, Arthur says that she’s really a good kid so let him sleep for a while okay..? And, he promptly falls asleep again. She is startled when Lance asks if Arthur still won’t wake up. Lance is standing by the door. Blushing Momoe says that she is just attempting to use her hand to...

Lance says that he thought that it would be more effective if the person whom Arthur likes would wake him up. Momoe says no..about that..he woke up for a while..and afterwards, ki..kiss.. Lance dismisses it as Arthur ‘sleepwalking’ for he’ll throw himself on someone and then kiss a bit..afterwards, he’s just messing around.

Lance goes to Arthur to wake him up and tells him that he’ll be late so quickly take a shower. Carrying sleeping Arthur on his shoulder, Lance apologizes to Momoe and tells her to first go ahead to the kitchen.

Momoe wonders what to do since that was just sleepwalking but for her, it is if she is an astronaut going to the moon, her life’s very first great step is unexpectedly simply a sleepwalking [kiss] and that’s it!? At the kitchen, Arthur greets Momoe and everyone a good morning. He asks Lance to prepare some milk tea for him.

Eric scolds Arthur what the hell about that everyone..you low blood pressure lying on bed idiot, always giving Lance trouble every morning and because Momoe saw his unsightly self when he just woke up, she had immediately retreated. While nervously laughing, blushing Momoe tries to deny it. Arthur is surprised that Momoe went to his room before he woke up.

He scolds Lance about not letting anyone in when he isn’t awake yet and Lance didn’t mention about this to him. Lance assures him that it is okay because it appears that Arthur just gave her a greeting kiss that’s all. Arthur is surprised over the mention of kiss. This made Momoe tense.

While giving Momoe her coffee, Lance says that the kiss ought to be on her hand like a greeting. After thanking Lance for the coffee, Momoe says yes, it is a greeting..an ordinary one. Momoe thinks that the kiss isn’t on the hand though but then, Arthur really couldn’t remember it. Anyway, isn’t this good..for her to be at this age, how can she make such a fuss about it right now.

Momoe decides to treat it as if it is a fossil aged topic and besides the other party doesn’t remember it so it is totally squeaky clean. Arthur asks if she is okay. Momoe assures him that she is. Arthur asks if that is for real, and he didn’t give her trouble. Momoe tells him yes, don’t worry!! She thinks that basically, at this age, even if she is a young lady or not, it is but a kiss, that’s all.

She mentally laughs for actually, it is only a kiss and it isn’t like she did something that crossed the border, ha ha ha!! Meanwhile, Masako and Renji are having sex. Then, Masako pushes him away and says that if he plays with her chest again, she would think that he is going in again so it’s not allowed. From that night at the party, they always do it until now so she is already no good...

He asks why when he also wants to go in and isn’t it good for him to go in. She sheepishly tells him that it is almost time for her to get ready to go to the office. Renji says that it is nothing for they can just rest together then eat breakfast somewhere. She says that he rests too much. He tells her that actually, he is very serious with her but how come she didn’t submit the marriage registration form. Masako exclaims what he is talking about.

Pulling up the blanket, Masako tells him not to belittle marriage, you brat, they have to choose a very auspicious day for the registration and if it is possible, they’ll definitely choose a special anniversary date. Besides, she has not yet informed her parents so if he is going to do things then do it seriously and perfectly and that is how she is!!

Blushing a bit, Masako says until then..she’ll be moved by his sincerity and in the end, things will go smoothly. Renji says then the conveniently do it like this. He pushes her down on the bed. He says, so how about one more time and just now, it already felt quite awesome but let him say, afterwards, there won’t be any guy in this world who can do this--

They were interrupted by Onidzuka who calls out to them from outside the door. He tells them it is so early in the morning, yet the two of them are excessively lewd. He suggests for them to stop while they’re ahead and go out from that room. “In passing, I absolutely do not approve of that marriage registry thing.”

At the living room, Renji complains about Onidzuka not calling first before coming when they are about to go out and eat. Onidzuka says that whether calling him or sending a message, he won’t answer nor reply so he has no alternative when he and his female friends are causing an uproar in Line [messaging app] or Twitter.

He advices Renji to graduate first before getting married and anyway, she is aiming for his money because look, Renji is still very young and before marrying at the age of 30, he can accomplish a lot. Renji says that he was the one who proposed. While Masako prepares breakfast, Onidzuka says that his relatives will be noisy about it.

Even if Renji isn’t someone has a lot of defects, but in order to get a lot of money and power and be a tempered person, he has to build a strong foundation by properly becoming a good student, accumulate experience and have wide personal connections. The priority is for him to leave that indulgence for sex [/lewdness] behind.

After thinking for a while, Renji says that Onidsukz is really a good person. Onidzuka says that he was taken care of by Renji’s father! [/he received a lot of help from Renji’s father]. Then, Onidzuka asks what that woman is doing. She tells him that because there are leftovers, she is going to use them a bit and hopes that it won’t make the housekeeper unhappy. 

Onidzuka asks if he likes a woman who is good in cooking and actually, he finds that kind very nauseous. Irked Masako tells Renji that it isn’t necessary to go out to eat because if it is breakfast, she can do that. Renji is amazed by the food that Masako made for he thought that she absolutely doesn’t know how to cook.

Masako proudly tells him not to belittle her being the only daughter of a single mother. She says that no matter how much money he has but he absolutely cannot recklessly spend money. Whether to spend or not, whether to save or not, as her goal, she will seriously become the ultimate number one wife that one reads about in the magazine.

While eating, Renji happily says that it is delicious. Pulling Masako to him, he says that even if he wakes up and was glad that he hasn’t died yet but it is amazing that she made breakfast for him. “Marry me, Mouri.” Masako tells him that she already agreed and do not always say ‘die’-type of words. 

Renji complains that she won’t go to the registry with him. Frowning Onidzuka thinks that Renji totally doesn’t listen to what others say. Not only he is rich, it is because he is a millionaire so basically there’s no need to worry about that kind of thing, right..but forget it, compared to the relatives, this woman is more amazing [/difficult to deal with].

At the station, Arthur asks if Momoe is going to get her luggage from her house. He offers to help her with it. He asks up to what time is her class for today. She refuses his help and says that she’ll do it herself. He is surprised that she cuts him off so he asks if actually, it wasn’t a kiss on the hand.

While she continues to walk, blushing Momoe says that even if it wasn’t, at most, it is a greeting for foreigners like them. She tells him not to mention this topic again. She rushes into the train before it closes. In the train, Arthur asks what she meant about that just now, it is only a greeting. Thinking that he wants to continue the topic, she says that it is only a ‘touch a bit’ kiss and basically, it isn’t counted.

Using her BL knowledge, she tells him that if it is a true kiss, then it would have a feeling wherein the other person can no longer stand up [because of the kiss]. Arthur says that touch is very soft and then, he’ll give her a kiss that would make her unable to stand up, if that is she wanted. She exclaims that he didn’t remember anything yet he’ll deceive her.

She says that he’s so cunning but anyway, for an unpopular and old woman like her who still daydreams, that kind of thing is her first.. Then, at the next station, a lot of people came in the carriage.

While Arthur is squeezing Momoe by the door, she thinks that it was a huge blow for her. For him, at most, it is just a kiss and even if he was sleeping walking and will do it to someone he doesn’t know that he’ll just play along to kiss but for her.. And, for her, it is obviously pretty much a shocking moment.

Just when Momoe thinks that she doesn’t want to be close to him at this time, Arthur holds her face and kisses her. While Momoe is blushing, Arthur says that they are in public place but he’s the one who should be angry because isn’t she quite cunning. He tells her that just now, he only want to make her say the truth but he didn’t think that he really did that kind of thing. F**k..how rude of him.

Ah, but unexpectedly, he didn’t remember the first kiss with her and how stupid is he. He tells her that he basically had a plan. He wanted to become a more romantic person..but!! Momoe says that she didn’t have any unreasonable request for that kind of romantic... He tells her that he wanted to do that..ah geez.. A man got pushed to them.

While shielding her, Arthur takes the opportunity to kiss her head. He tells her to wait until they get back and he’ll immediately re-do it one more time. This surprises Momoe. He asks that didn’t she want a kiss that would make her unable to stand? 

Momoe thinks that in this world, that ‘super moe/cute’, that kind of ‘deer in front of headlights [about to be hit by a car = shock and palpitating]’ feeling unexpectedly truly exists. "This is a miracle, right."

Comment: Well, that is how Momoe’s first kiss got ‘stolen’ but then, Arthur will make it up to her. ^^ He is really eager to please her and make her really fall in love with him ^^ Good thing though there is no misunderstanding wherein Arthur said someone else’s name instead of honey. ^^;

Or, Momoe accuse him of that kiss being directed at someone else. It does make me wonder if Arthur will correct his ‘hard to wake up’ habits or next time, Momoe will have to do what Lance was doing to wake him up. As for the other couple, Masako is still being the perfectionist she is about when to marry, how to marry and being the perfect popular wife that everyone envies. In a way, she seems eager to prove that she is ‘somebody’ who cannot be belittled. 

Onidzuka is a bit worried about Renji who is quite in love with Masako..well, she must be also be good in bed =P Anyway, there doesn’t seem much to worry about since Onidzuka thinks that Masako is a handful compared to the relatives. I forgot if Renji is a self-made millionaire. If he is, I think his relatives won’t complain much since it is his money. And, he had a bit of falling out with his family especially the brother, iirc.
